Esplanade - Bengaluru - Photo album

Esplanade in Bangalore's bustling Indiranagar is a hidden gem for Bengali cuisine enthusiasts. We decided to experience their Bengali buffet, having wisely pre-booked a table a week in advance, and boy, were we glad we did, especially during the crowded festivities of Nobomi Durga Puja. The standou
Located at indranagar above chowman- this is a nice place for Bengali cuisine. The menu spread is a lot like the 6 Ballygunge place. The taste is nice overall but I have had better Bengali cuisine before this in Bangalore itself. But the staff service is very nice and polite . Dishes we had fish fry
For long I was craving a Fish Kabiraji like it's made in my hometown, finally the day is today I satisfied my cravings. Located in Indiranagar near the Metro Station just above Chowman (another favorite joint of me originating since kolkata days), the restaurant is super ambient with hints of a beng
I fell in awe of the food of this place. Shoutout to the chef!! The ambience or the service may not be something to write home for, but the food is absolutely lipsmacking. Weekends have a huge waiting time (1 hour or more) but bear that time. Let your hunger brew because its worth it. The prawn, fis
Amazing fine dining Bengali restaurant in the heart of Indiranagar. Close to the metro station. We ordered a bunch of starters and two main course . The Afghani mutton was the first of its kind , lacked the lamb flavour , but was crispy and tasted good . The betki fish was deep fried and crispy and
Tried the 5 spice chicken gravy with rice and it tasted exactly like my mom's home made chicken curry. And the mango lassi to pair with it was great! The ambiance is very posh and service is good. However, it's very expensive.
We recently visited “Esplanade” to try out some authentic bengali dishes and we were amazed to taste and feel the authenticity of the food and vibes there. Being a bengali food lover this place has definitely become one of my favourites. Loved the presentation and taste of each food items we tried (
The Bengali food served here is really tasty and has good proportions. We ordered Motorshuti Kochuri, Chicken Panchfodon, Basanti pulav, chhanar kaliya, fish fry, Baked roshogolla. Fish fry and baked roshogolla were outstanding and other items were all tasty. Satisfied with the proportion and taste
Good place to have delicious Bengali food, nice ambience and service but the hilsa fish that we ordered didn't seem to be fresh which was a disappointment..rest of the dishes were quite tasty.
Authentic bengali cuisine and excellent ambience . Although prices are on the higher side but the quantity and quality was good. Worth going once in a while . Best of them was Daab Chingri, a must try.
We had gone on a Saturday and sadly, the service was deadly slow. They seemed to be understaffed and the waiters were clearly overworked. There was a long waiting time owing to the weekend which is understandable but even after getting in, we had to wait for almost 40-45 mins for our food to arrive.
The only one high-wnd fine dining experience that offers Bengali cuisine in Bangalore. The ambience setup is perfect with the food options. This is a place you can take your colleagues and loved ones for a date. Food options are gastronomic. Taste balance is perfect.
The first thing that strikes is the ambience created in a very neo classical way within a small space. It is located on the first floor. What we found out is that the service is slow even though courteous, so be prepared and be patient for the orders to materialise.... at least 20 minutes. In our ca
It was one of my best experience over there. The food was very good and the place gives a vibe of being in bengal. I liked their fish cutlet very much.
This place should be visited only because of the taste of food. It is a small restaurant which is heavily crowded on weekends. So better come early to minimize the waiting time.
