The foods were awesome specially fish paturi and dab chingri. But their sanitization method is not good. No temperature was checked at the time of entry and they did not sanitize the tables also. In this pandemic situation, these steps should be taken what I feel.
Oh well, what can I say! It's so pleasing and nice when you get a chance to write a review with a smile, and the food is so good that even after driving back home you want to make sure you appreciate these guys!
Hope I made it quite clear by my mood after a foodgasm state. Let's start with the dish that blew my mind, Bhetki Pathuri. All I can say is it's better than the best places that I have had in Kolkata, and what Sorse these guys have used. Blew my mind!
We ended up trying a lot of food, highlights apart from the one mentioned above were Fish Orly (quite brilliant), Mangshor Chop, by far the best Mishti Doi outside Kolkata and finally the Nolen Gur Ice cream.
Hats Off to you guys for this amazingly cooked meal. Thank you and keep it up!
I have spent significant amount of time in Kolkata and I absolutely love Bengali food.
When I moved to Bangalore I had a hard time finding a good place for Bengali food. Over the years I did discover quite a few places.
Recently I went to esplande, a restaurant I have passed by many times but never dined in. .
The food is up to the standard. The only problem for me was that they don't have chicken biryani in their menu which is a disappointment.
The fish kaviraji was a bit oily. I ordered mutton kosha which was heavenly.
Fish fry @esplanade_blr
One of the best fish fries are served at this Bengali cuisine restaurant. Wish to go back there after lockdown ♥️
Have been hearing of this place n one fine Sunday afternoon decided to try out a sumptuous bengali style lunch. The decors were nice n cozy and would give u n ardent bengal type feeling. We had ordered all types of courses served n we were not disappointed.
1. Gondho raj ghol:- Tasty bengali style chas mixed with gondho raj lemon. A heavenly mocktail on a bright sunny day
2. Mangsho Chop:- Sumptuous pieces of mixed mutton chop served with kasundi n salad- tasted great
3. Macher Matha Daal:- an appropriate amalgamation of fish bones n moong daal combined with right amount of spices.
4. Aloo bhaja- Finely sliced n diced potatoe fries an all time favorite of Bengali s while eating hot steam rice n daal 🙂
5. Baked Sorse Bhetki:- Sorse combined with traditional Bengali spices and served over boneless baked bhetki. One word- Delicious
6. Mutton Kosha:- The pic itself should speak a thousand words ,based on a suggestion from a food blog in social media we decided to give it a shot. I came to know that the actual cooking is a slow n steady process of heating it over 4 hrs. Well it's worth it. Gave a wonderful feeling along with steam rice.
7. Nolen Gurer Ice Cream:- A sweet dish that Bengali s have just patented on there own. Ice cream served with fresh brewed jaggery .Little dollops of heaven .
A superb experience, and express interest to re-visit. Good job guys.👍👍👍👌👌👌
What's not to love. Honestly an amazing experience. Try calling in before hand to get the table booked. It won't be available on zomato. You need to call and book. They will hold the table for max 5 minutes since it's always full. The food is amazing. You can try anything and you won't go wrong. The baked Rasgulla for dessert was the cherry on top.
Went for lunch and loved the authentic Bengali dishes. Fish kobiraji, dal, jhuri potato fry, fish in mustard sauce, daab chicken....all the dishes were delicious! The ambience is nice, they have valet parking...Highly recommended!
This has to be one of the must-visit places when you're looking for amazing Bangali food in Bangalore. Their luchi and mutton kosha is sure to remind you of home! Their fish orly is basically fish batter fry as we know it in Kolkata, slightly on the oilier side but tastes delicious nonetheless. For some more portions of authentic Bangali taste, you must order their bhetkir paturi and daab chingri. If you're one of those people who need something to sip alongside good food, then order their gondhoraaj mojito which will leave you refreshed with its strong, familiar aroma. Their desserts seemed subject to availability, so we had to order chhanar jilipi with ice cream. Overall, a scrumptious affair with Bengali cuisine is what you'll get here!
This is the place for authentic bengoli cuisine .the environment was nice.it looked posh and the service was really great. Food was really tasty.
All is well, when it ends well. Rasagolla was fabulous and so was the mishti doi. Thanks for such lovely desserts
What exciting flavours! I want to eat everything on their menu.
So i visited esplanade and being a bong i got struck with environment of place the aroma and the ambience which was absolutely perfect. So without wasting much time let's get too the main topic the food was immensely tasty we ordered fish Kabiraji, Chital maacher muitha, chholar dal, motoshuti er kachori, kasha murgi and panchforon grilled fish...So this was the whole stuff and everything means every single dish was upto mark. Truly i loved if too the core and my family. At last for sweets we ordered Roshogullar payesh ahh ha absolutely heaven to my taste buds... One more thing before i i finish this of if u wanna see bengoli ghost names then check out there washroom area 😜 neways jokes apart this place is fantastic..
In short, you want to try bengali food then this is THE place.
Beautiful ambience, lovely staff & delicious food with fresh ingredients. Loved every bit of our dinner here.
Please do have the misti doi and rosgulla..
Nolen gurer ice cream is a must try. Illish bhapa was also good in taste as well as size. Staff was polite and courteous.

One of the best Bengali restaurants in Bangalore. Tried their so many foods.
•Aam pana Sorbot
•Aam chana cutlet
•Luchi
•Cholar daal ----- recommended
•Korai sutir kochuri ---- recommended
•Vaat
•Daab chingri ------ highly highly recommended
•Mutton kosha
•Nolen Gurer ice cream ---- recommended
•Baked Sandesh
After having the Daab Chingri , I fell in love with this. Also there luchi , cholar daal, aloolr dum was a deadly combination. Mutton kosha was a bit spicy and giving a bitter flavour for overcooking I guess luchi was perfectly puffed . From the desert use you should try the Nolen Gurer Ice cream and the baked sandesh.
The ambiance was amazing and the staff behaviour was also good highly recommended place you should try the daab chingri.
On our second visit we had Gondhoraj Chicken as a starter,Koraisutir kochuri, aloor dom, daab Chicken, doi chicken, chanar payes. All of them was equally good . Spacally the doi Chicken is recommended.
The ambience was awesome. Loved it. The restaurant being a Bengali Cuisine based restaurant had the menu options in Bengali itself with descriptions. The presentation of the food was mouthwatering too. Spice lovers keep in mind since its Bengali cuisine the dishes wouldn't be very spicy. The pulav was very sweet and few other dishes had the hint of sweetness. Nevertheless, they tasted very good. Loved the Rasagullas in the dessert section😍 The service time needs to be increased. We had to wait for almost an half an hour everytime to get our orders.
One of the best places to enjoy Bengali cuisine. Cholar dal and luchi along with the chingri sahebi kabab made our day. To make the aiburo bhaat more special we had macher muro... Complimentary from esplanade. Baked sandesh was the best dessert after such a sumptuous food menu.
We were in search of mishti doi, which ended here.. it was nice and smooth. Also enjoyed rasgulla rabdi dessert. The place is plush and nice ambience. Next would surely try main course here.
I went for an all out Bengali buffet dinner with friends during Durga Pujo. There was a small crowd outside the restaurant but we (a group of four) were seated in about 20-25 minutes. The spread was very good and not overdone with underwhelming dishes. I liked the taste of everything I tried - they had paturi, mutton, luchi, chholar daal, doi maach, and a solid selection of sweets (baked roshogolla, sondesh and bhapa doi). Price per person was on the expensive side, but was great to see good quality and spread during festival season.
Famous as one of the go-to places for bengali food in indiranagar ive had a bit of a mixed experience here. Their fish fry, paturi etc are lovely and although a tad bit expensive it is totally worth it given that what they serve is actually bhetki and not basa like quite a few other bengali restos tend to do. Not really a big fan of their mutton dishes and posto bora though (somehow didnt feel like home). The mutton pulao was nice but wayyyyyyy too oily for my liking. Wish they could start serving calcutta style biryani. I am sure there would be enough demand for that.
Edit: tried the tangra style chilli chicken this time around and it was nearly perfect :-)
Food is certainly a neccesity of our physiology, but good food is an ecstasy to the taste buds, mind and soul. Who can relate better to this than us Bengalis!
A complete package of 'Bangaliaana' comprising of an authentic Bengali ambience enhanced by some soothing Bengali music, an extremely courteous staff and a decked up interior, reminiscent of the blend of modernity and tradition in Bengali culture, Esplanade has it all.
Gondhoraj Ghol:- A potion of rejuvenation , resonating with the deepest of your foodie emotions and taste buds. Outstanding.
Chingri Badsahi kabab- A MUST TRY. A wonderful concotion of shredded Golda Chingri with cream. The biggest USP of this dish is the strong mustard flavour, which forms an integral part of our Bengali cuisine.
Bhaat, Sona Muger Daal, Begun Bhaja- Not much to say. Just as they should be.
Daab Chingri- One of the best Daab Chingris I have had in a fine dining Bengali restaurant. It's not the quantity , but the quality that is often the showstealer.
Doi Murgi- Simple, subtle yet completely fulfilling.
Chital Maacher muitha- Now this one can be worked upon. An overemphasis on simplicity often deprives many dishes of the best taste and the diners of thier expectations.
Baked Roshogolla- Another masterpiece. Was certainly better than what we get in other collosal Bengali restaurant brands. Another must try.
The mocktail- WAS BAD. This was the complimentary drink that was served to us as we had booked via EasyDiner. An excess of Rock Salt to a glass of Coca Cola. I wish it wasn't served at all.
Overall,
If you are looking for some authentic, mesmerizing, gourmet Bengali fine dining experience in Bangalore, Esplanade is a must try. Ofcourse, people who are too precarious about calorific value or glycaemic indices of food need to give a second thought.
Though living in Chennai, heard a lot about this place in Bengaluru from quite some of my foodie friends staying there. Always having the niche to explore Bengali restaurants in any city, and given the chance of getting to be there last weekend, decided to have dinner at Esplanade with one of my friend, and boy, it didn't disappoint.
Though we had to travel a bit, and we were quite late on reaching there, the ambiance welcomed us with a sense of freshness. Having already explored the menu, we decided to waste no more time and ordered "Panco Crumbed Bengali Fish Fry". It was delicious. Served with mustard chutney, it had fish coated with bread crumbs and served as the perfect appetizer.
Coming to the main course, it was always decided to try their very-much-talked-about dish, "Daab Chingri". We decided to have that and "Aloo Jhinga Posto" along with rice. We also ordered a "Mutton Kosha" and "Luchi Basket" to compliment the rice. Every item was perfect. There's a reason why "Daab Chingri" is their most talked-about dish, because it was simply too great. With 8 pieces of Chingri(prawn) in a sweet mustard gravy, it felt heavenly. The "Posto" and "Mutton Kosha" felt equally good. The Luchi complimented really well with Mutton Kosha. Yes, one thing, we underestimated the quantity of "Posto" and it was a bit too much, so I would suggest people to be careful while ordering a dish, because the quantity they serve is pretty good.
No meal is complete without dessert, and nothing suits the best Bengali dessert than "Mishti Doi". "Mishti Doi", I would say, was the standout among all, because I think it's been really long that I've had such yummy "Mishti Doi". It was the perfect end to the perfect evening.
Esplanade, I would say is one of the best Bengali restaurants in the country, no-doubt in Bengaluru, I don't know if there are others which could give it a tough competition, I haven't explored all of them, but it would be really tough to beat Esplanade, as it has raised the bar quite high.
Also, a special mention goes to "Mr. Krishna" for taking care of us so well. We loved the service and hospitality that he rendered towards us and are very thankful to him. Thank you, Mr. Krishna, and best wishes for your life.
Overall, Food: 5/5 ; Ambiance: 5/5 ; Value for Money: 5/5
Treat to my bong taste buds after a long long time
Dawn Chingri was very tasty along with Mangsho(Mutton)
The most authentic Bengali cuisine in Bangalore. As a pure vegetarian there are so many options available. The taste is very real. Highly recommend
Bengali cuisine is well known for its varied use of flevours. If you are Bengali it's goes without saying that you are a food lover. Living in South India is very difficult for Bengalis due to their taste bud and love for flavours. However there are couple of Bengali resturent in bangalore and I have tried most of the places. But this place will surve you food of Bengal with music of Bengal. It's goes without saying that the combination is deadly. The quality of the food is quite good but quantity is little less. The price is little high but I would say you will not regret it 😉. If you are foodie apart from being bong this place is one stop for experiencing food and culture of eastern India.
We had ordered a gondhoraj mohito, aam pora r shorbot, fish kabiraji, aam kasundi bhapa bhetki, musur daal, rice, jhurjhuri alubhaja, chicken kosha, mutton jhol and nolen gurer ice cream . The bhaba bhetki was excellent! The staff was courteous. Will go back to try their other dishes.

The nostalgic smell of spices , ingredients and mustard oil , Bengali food is more than that . An honest foodie will find Bengali food as an universe . From what you know already , Bengali food is much more than that .It’s impossible for a Bengali to survive without that jhanjalo taste, and some signature dishes.
Its strange that a vegetarian like me opted to eat at this non veg paradise. But honestly the veg food was to die for. The mustard brinjal n dum aloo were really awesome, even if you don't like brinjal you can't help not love this preparation. It's extremely crowded on weekdays n weekends. Sunday do not think of going here without a reservation. Food is drool worthy though. I hear non veg is out of this world as well
This place serves the authentic bengali food.
So far I feel this is the best bengali restaurant in Bengaluru in terms of quality and hygiene.
I have tried here almost every dish, their fish, mutton, starters everything is bang on.
If you are a Bengali food lover, this place is a must go for you !
I have visited Esplanade many times for last few years, but somehow I found the quality is deteriorating.
But still, Good food
Nice ambiance
Service is really good. If you love Bengali cuisine, this s a must go place.
The authenticity of Bengali food is recommendable here!in the corner of a busy city food here, took me back home for a while :)The discipline ,decor and music made it perfect..
Esplanade, one of the top authentic bengali restaurant in Bengaluru. I tried Kosha Mangsho, Basanti Pulao and Posto'r bora. The food was real fun and it tastes awesome! A must visit place!
When it comes to Bengali cuisine this is one of the best restaurant in Bangalore .
Food -
Luchi and mangsho kasha - 9.5/10 (will take you to a different world)
Chota singara (small samosas) - 8.5/10
Begun bhaja - 8/10 (oily but delicious)
Aloo dum - 8/10
Misti dahi - 9/10 (ohh ho ho )
Sould try - coconut prawn
Slow cooked delicacies to highten your taste buds. Loved it! The cozy ambience makes you want to laze into your meal. Dessert tip - Do not skip the jaggery ice cream.
Esplanade is an amazing Bengali food experience in Bangalore. The taste is simply brilliant no matter the dish you order. The decor is amazing for a lovely dinner with friends and family and the price justifies the taste. The one drawback is that the service is slightly slow so you may need to plan your order a bit, but let's not take away anything from food quality.
If you are craving for a traditional bengali meal then this place should be on top of your list... Well the name is enough for any Kolkatans... I was very sad because I thought this year I will not be able to taste hilsa... This place made up for that... High on hilsa festival was going and needless to say we were literally "high on hilsa"... Aam kadundi bhapa bhetki came as a starter... The tangy, pungent kick was much needed before a sumptuous meal... And then came the beauties ilish pulao followed by ilish macher malaikari... Ilish pulao was light and flavorful the hilsa oil was perfectly infused into it... It was served with two pieces of juicy hilsa... Soothing coconut milk and gondhoraj milk base gravy of the malaikari was perfect match with the pulao... Without the creamy choto rosogollar payesh the meal could not be ended properly... I really miss my home food but this place made up for it... Just visit Esplanade and get high over the queen of fish...
After a long time I am giving a review. Today Esplanade is the place. Have heard many times before and today finally experienced the classic experience of Bengali Cuisine. Also in monsoon season Bengalis carved for Ilish and they are ready for it. Thoroughly enjoyed. Best of luck.
Superb quality of food with great ambience and nice behaviour of staffs. Fully recommend this place for all the bengalis out there in bangalore.
Posh location of Bangalore, brilliant ambience and staff, authentic food menu, misti doi was amazing, had a great time :) keep it up guys :)
One of the best Bengali cuisine in Bangalore. Traditional foods & fusions both options are really perfect to give taste of your root. In starters chilli tangra is must try. Our selection was postor bora, pabda jhal and khachalonga mangso. Staffs are experienced and professional. Overall excellent 👌
Esplande is easily one of the top three Bengali restaurants in Bangalore. Esplanade stands out for the quality that it puts in the plate and for its sleek South Kolkata decor.
It is a treat for the people who are looking for quality vegetarian food out there.
Mochar chop, Phulkopir dalna (Cauliflower, peas and potato) are must haves.
The food looks stunning and everytime it comes out of the kitchen, it fills up the place with its aroma.
Having said that, some of the dishes that are priced unrealistically high do not offer anything unique.
If you are looking to go for traditional Bengali dinner, Esplande will surely surprise you with its simplistic brilliance, but it be very very sure, you will have to sacrifice a hefty amount for it.
Cost for two including Hilsa: 2500 rupees
This place is heaven for Bengali's in Bangalore. The best Bengali cuisine you can find here. Taste is yummy but the menu is very costly though. However, worth visiting this place. The ambience is not that great but you get the feel of Kolkata. Must try is Mangsor Jhol (mutton).
Esplanade in Bangalore's bustling Indiranagar is a hidden gem for Bengali cuisine enthusiasts. We decided to experience their Bengali buffet, having wisely pre-booked a table a week in advance, and boy, were we glad we did, especially during the crowded festivities of Nobomi Durga Puja.
The standout feature of Esplanade is its mouthwatering array of Bengali delicacies. The menu boasts an impressive selection, including the delicate and flavorful bhetki paturi, richly spiced chicken, the hearty mutton dakbungalow, and the creamy chingri malai curry. Personally, I found the prawn dish to be the true star, surpassing the delicious paturi.
But it doesn't end with the main course. Esplanade also shines in its dessert offerings. We relished the sweet delights of misthi doi, chanar jalebi, and roshmalai. The meal was complemented by a delightful variety of papod and two types of chutney, adding the perfect balance of flavors.
The only caveat is the restaurant's popularity, which leads to a crowded ambiance, especially during festivals like Durga Puja. To avoid disappointment, pre-booking is a must.
In summary, Esplanade is a haven for authentic Bengali cuisine in Bangalore. If you're in search of a culinary adventure that's rich in flavor and tradition, this restaurant is a must-visit, provided you secure your reservation well in advance.
Located at indranagar above chowman- this is a nice place for Bengali cuisine. The menu spread is a lot like the 6 Ballygunge place. The taste is nice overall but I have had better Bengali cuisine before this in Bangalore itself. But the staff service is very nice and polite . Dishes we had fish fry, gondhoraj mojito, luchi , cholar dal, Polao, mutton kosha . Totoal bill was 2100
For long I was craving a Fish Kabiraji like it's made in my hometown, finally the day is today I satisfied my cravings.
Located in Indiranagar near the Metro Station just above Chowman (another favorite joint of me originating since kolkata days), the restaurant is super ambient with hints of a bengali fine dine.
You get both indoor and outdoor seating (smoking not allowed), the servers welcome you well and first thing I liked is the Menu. The menu is a whole book, legit with leather and don't know I felt very good taking the menu in my hands.
We ordered Fish Kabiraji, Chicken Braised Cutlet, Paanchphoron Chicken with Steamed Rice and ended our meal with Roshogollar Payesh (5 stars to that).
SUROJIT has been a great server and well attended our table.
I'll sneak in someday again in afternoon to satisfy my cravings for my home food. Might be visiting again during Durga Puja, this outlet remains one of my favorites list in Bangalore! 👏 Kudos to food, service and ambience, top notch!
I fell in awe of the food of this place. Shoutout to the chef!!
The ambience or the service may not be something to write home for, but the food is absolutely lipsmacking.
Weekends have a huge waiting time (1 hour or more) but bear that time. Let your hunger brew because its worth it.
The prawn, fish cutlets were amazing. Mutton Jhol Basanti Pulao was too good.
The Fish Kobiraji was heavenly!!
I ordered the Daab Chingdi. If you are not a fan of coconut milk, skip it. If you like it, then you are in for a treat.
Amazing fine dining Bengali restaurant in the heart of Indiranagar. Close to the metro station.
We ordered a bunch of starters and two main course .
The Afghani mutton was the first of its kind , lacked the lamb flavour , but was crispy and tasted good .
The betki fish was deep fried and crispy and tasted the best out of all starters ordered.
The mango drink aam porar and gondoraj drink tasted great and appetizing.
The hilsa here was spoken loud about and dint disappoint us . Served with rice and the mustard gravy was great .
The prawn coconut curry served in tenter coconut tasted amazing .
Overall ambience was stunning and the service personal was polite .
Tried the 5 spice chicken gravy with rice and it tasted exactly like my mom's home made chicken curry. And the mango lassi to pair with it was great! The ambiance is very posh and service is good. However, it's very expensive.

We recently visited “Esplanade” to try out some authentic bengali dishes and we were amazed to taste and feel the authenticity of the food and vibes there.
Being a bengali food lover this place has definitely become one of my favourites.
Loved the presentation and taste of each food items we tried (appetisers , starters, meals, desserts ) and along with the authentic taste the service, staff behaviour and hospitality really impressed us. Staff who served us (Surajit) & Manager (Joy) were really friendly and gave some really great food recommendations which we totally fell in love with.
Here is the list of food items what We tried :-
Starters :
Fish kobiraji
Mochar cutlet
Meals :-
Chana dal & luchi
Daab murgi
Basanti pulao
Steamed rice
Dhokar dalna
Channar Kaliya
Appetisers :
Aam pora Sarbot

Gandharaj mojito

Malpua with ice cream.
Difficult to pick favourites as loved each and everthing however Fish Kobiraji, Daab Murgi, Luchi’s, Aam Pora Sarbot, Malpua with Icecream are a MUST TRY.

The Bengali food served here is really tasty and has good proportions.
We ordered Motorshuti Kochuri, Chicken Panchfodon, Basanti pulav, chhanar kaliya, fish fry, Baked roshogolla.
Fish fry and baked roshogolla were outstanding and other items were all tasty.
Satisfied with the proportion and taste of the food. Must recommended if wanting to have Bengali food in Bangalore.
Valet parking is a plus.
Service is a bit slow and there may be long queues specially on weekends so would be good to arrive with time in-hand.
Staffs are friendly and customers can talk in Bengali to waiters and manager.
Good place to have delicious Bengali food, nice ambience and service but the hilsa fish that we ordered didn't seem to be fresh which was a disappointment..rest of the dishes were quite tasty.
Authentic bengali cuisine and excellent ambience . Although prices are on the higher side but the quantity and quality was good. Worth going once in a while . Best of them was Daab Chingri, a must try.
We had gone on a Saturday and sadly, the service was deadly slow. They seemed to be understaffed and the waiters were clearly overworked. There was a long waiting time owing to the weekend which is understandable but even after getting in, we had to wait for almost 40-45 mins for our food to arrive. And even then, the quality of food seemed subpar compared to our earlier visits. A few of the house favourites like Jhurjhure aloo bhaja and bhetki paturi were even sold out although it was only 2:00 PM in the afternoon, prime lunch time. So I definitely don't recommend visiting this place on weekends and if you do, make sure you get there by 1 PM latest, before the crowd starts to build. From all that we ordered, I'd recommend the fish kabiraji and kosha mangsho with basanti pulao. The bhapa ilish was also decent however the prawn malaikari was a tad too sweet for our palates. Coming from an ardent posto-lover, the postor bora was a huge disappointment. In drinks, the gondhoraj mojito was refreshing but the aam porar shorbot was too concentrated, enough for us to have divided a glass into two and then watering it down with ice cubes. But the two things we'd like to highly recommend would be the desserts: baked roshogolla and nolen gurer ice cream. ❤️ Those would make up for most of the glitches here and there in the rest of the meal. Overall the vibe of the place is pleasant and the food is usually good, especially if you're into a full fledged Bangali meal, just avoid it on rush days like the weekends and you're good to go!
The only one high-wnd fine dining experience that offers Bengali cuisine in Bangalore. The ambience setup is perfect with the food options. This is a place you can take your colleagues and loved ones for a date.
Food options are gastronomic. Taste balance is perfect.
The first thing that strikes is the ambience created in a very neo classical way within a small space. It is located on the first floor. What we found out is that the service is slow even though courteous, so be prepared and be patient for the orders to materialise.... at least 20 minutes. In our case for a group of 06,it turned out to be 55 minutes!!! from the time of placing the order.... an inordinately long and unacceptable time line... Even though food was being served to other guests who arrived a little later .. . We complained and someone mumbled that starters were being served to them. The waiters and the manager could not provide any acceptable explanation.Seems that they are managing the show with some staff(cook)/equipment shortage. Further, I observed that the drinking water glasses were not placed on the table gently but very casually that was unpleasant to hear. They could improve upon this point. Waiters were well behaved and presented themselves in an impeccable haircut and uniform.
Now coming to the best part i.e., the food. It was excellent. So no complaints here...the taste was authentic bengali... and neither too mild nor too spicy... Just the right flavour. All of us were happy with the quality and quantity of food served. We had aampora sharbat, gondhoraj lebu jol, daab chingri, basanti polau, plain basmati rice, luchi, haathruti, mutton kosha, bhetki Kalia, bhetki shorshe, and in sweets... Nolen gurer ice cream and nolen gurer misti doi. The sweets were terrific. Would visit again but with adequate time and patience in mind.
It was one of my best experience over there. The food was very good and the place gives a vibe of being in bengal. I liked their fish cutlet very much.
This place should be visited only because of the taste of food. It is a small restaurant which is heavily crowded on weekends. So better come early to minimize the waiting time.
