Food quality is nice.
Worth for money.
Very nice Restaurant . 4 beautyfull section they have . TV Hall for who love sports . Music hall for who love music . Silent hall for who love to drink and have food peace fully . And family hall for family with TV and Ac . Taste food, don't miss mutton kheema ball and biryani . Good survive and always one manager roaming in all section . He available with smiling face .
Consistency is their secret!
I have had their food so many times that I have lost count. The ever friendly manager also makes it special. Tried the biriyani, the fried rice, the Hyderabadi cuisines - be it chicken and mutton, always comes out well done. So as I reflect on the places visited, Guru palace certainly stands out. This is the one next to Anand Sweets, Meenakshi Mall.

Chicken chettinadu dry is excellent
After the movie, the first restaurant that came to our minds was Nandana. From the entry to the food to the serivices and care we received, we are really happy and satisfied. Its as if we are at home, and what more does a customer need. This restaurant is just fantastic fantabulous outstanding and Awesome. Thank you
Really fast, the food was hot, they've read the description of specifications as well! Very tasty! Arrived before time!
Cheap place but totally shady! Went there in a group, and had great butter kulcha, mutton Keema and butter chicken. However the service was very very slow. The drinks are also very cheap. Wouldn't recommend it to a group of girls on an evening.
This place is very old on banerghatta road close to Royal meenakshi mall. Its not a place to go with family, thats what i feel. Ofcourse guys can go to hang out for booze with nice dinner. It gives you a kinda Dhaba feel. I have always asked for home delivery though its very close to my house. Service is absolutely brilliant. Must say no one can beat them when talking about their egg fried rice in combination with Dal fry. Their veg starters are also good. Not costly though. Its very easy on pockets!! Must try!!
This place ambience is not that good, but food is really great with those prices. You have to try guru palace spl chicken its really great. Even the veg is great. For a less budget you can plan here. Not family place, just a place where you walk in before a long drive
Good starters...great service and easy on the pocket!! Good place fr the guys to go fr a drink and some bites...paneer tandoori is really nice here as well as egg preparations..!
Been here during our master's. Cool place to be with friends. Food is above average, but the ambience scores... Table reservation recommended during festive season.
Guru palace has been in this area for as long as I can remember ( over 12 years and counting ) and was known earlier as Manju Punjabi dhaba. At the time of its inception, it was looked at as a place that people would drive out far away to enjoy a relaxed meal at a dhaba with beer. With all the construction and modernization around, Guru palace now looks like its stuck in a time warp. As you enter the place, it still bears a huge resemblance to the way it was many years ago. The new additions are an upper level seating srea, apart from which everything else remains the same. This used to be our staple home delivery place a few years ago, but with so many options available now this had fallen off the radar. Nonetheless, We ordered a takeaway from them a few days back. Veg kadai, rotis, egg fried rice and sholay kabab were the items ordered. These were ready in less than 15 mins and we picked it up ourselves. The egg fried rice has always been top notch at this place and never disappoints, suggest you go for this if you are ordering from in/around the area. The veg kadai was average, one of the naans was slightly overburnt but I didn't have many expectations from them on that. The sholay kabab was good, spicy and tender - a perfect combination with the beer! The above items worked up to around 400+, not too expensive. I've ordered their chicken kebab and tandoor chicken earlier on and both have been good too, recommend if you are having a party at home and are looking for some quality starters to serve.

So when Seasons refused my order and left me stranded on a Sunday evening, Guru Palace came to my rescue. Called and ordered for a peanut masala, egg biryani, chicken masala and two naans. Food was delivered in 40 mins, piping hot and the chicken curry was amazing. Went down a treat with the naans and then wiped out the curry+biryani combo. Awesome package.
Recommend for home delivery!
Startedt as Manju dhaba and now guru palace.!!!
Suitable place for an evening Beer with friends... Service and Food are good... Egg Pakoda is the highlight of this place... Pocket friendly...
Guru Bar!!
A nice & decent place to hang out for drinks with buddies.
Service is kind of delayed. So be sure to order a bit in advance when your glass is running low :)
Must try- Dry Mutton Kheema balls. Most delicious ones to be found in South Bangalore vicinity.
Pricing is easy enough on the pocket.
Bottom Line- A Must Visit Place :)
For the Amount of money they charge, its a pretty decent place with plenty of open space. You can get liquor and some interesting non vegetarian menu. Its a good place for people looking to booze under a budget!
Good restaurant and bar on Bannerghatta Road just opposite to Royal Meenakshi mall. Separate section for family also available. Liquor rates are reasonable when compared. Food taste and service is quick and good.
Food is great and so is the service.
Located near meenakshi mall in bannerghata road with its own parking area has a variety of alcoholic choice beverages and from starters to main course in both veg and non veg. Smoking and non smoking zones separately.. All the people who take orders and serve are wearing masks and gloves and all sporting events are shown on TV . It's very easy to commute to this place and to get here can be via bike or car or ola and uber as well. Seating arrangement are very well done...
The food is lovely.. the pepper egg dry chicken ghee roast were too good.. tandoori chicken was a let down.. the chicken biryani was very tasty and the gravy accompanied by the biriyani was even more tastier... I would recommend this to try once..
Nice bar with excellent price all veg and non veg dishes all hot items. With family restaurant kids play area. Car parking out side bannerghatta road seating facilities under roof tiles latenight bit mosquito. All dishes ok and good. Wash room and peeda avaliable. Hot spot area Meenakshi mall...I recommend

It was a good experience. I had mutton biriyani and Greenpeace pepper dry which i was happy with the food...
Good bar with a decent setup. Ambience makes u dizzy with all the smoke and smell in the air but that's how bars are meant to be. The food is very good and easy on your wallet. Liquor can be a tad expensive. The beer which has an MRP of 185 costs 315 in the bar. No sides given with that. This can be a worry.
This is no longe Guru palace. it's Barrel House. Mostly catering to the Christ collage crowd. Place has been done up recently. Very Spartan but serves the purpose
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing beer, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
Nice drinking place. Spacious, with four different seating areas, one standing area, and a small play area with rides for kids. Separate AC and family seating. Separate smoking section. Drinks are at bar rates. Food is just about acceptable. The best part is the ambience: The spacious, open seating with dim lights in the evening make the place very cozy and relaxing. Ideal for drink and conversations.
Its a very peaceful place. Nice place to grab a few drinks with friends when at tough financial situations. Waiters are friendly enough and the place is reasonable. You get exactly how much you pay for. Cheap ambiance but cheap bill. Careful taking girls there.
To be very honest, I hadn't expected a good crowd here. It was a Friday, and really good people turned up, mostly from the Christ University. The food wasn't too impressive. Surprisingly the North Indian/tandoori items were really good
Family, non smoker, smoker zones are separate. Veg food is good, do not know of non veg. Drinks are rated little high but okay. Overall nice place.
