I had ordered the chocolate celebrations pastry cake here which was super tasty. Overall this place is good if you would like to order cakes and it isn't too harsh on your pockets. One suggestion would be if they could increase their variety just like their other branches.

I absolutely love Amma’s pasteurise. I love their chocolates and their cakes. Their chocolate celebration cake is my absolute favourite! I could go on and on about this place. Their cakes are so moist and delicious. And for that price? It’s sooo reasonable! Their chicken samosas are amazing! About a week ago I ordered 6 pastries, 3 egg puffs and about 2 or 3 chicken samosas and my bill came upto about three hundred something! Even bought half a kg chocolate celebration cake for only 250. Their prices are amazing and so is their food! I love this place. It’s my favourite cake shop!

We took yummy cake "Opera" from here and it was really yummy. We also bought their chocolates(very sweet) and rusk(no taste at all) which are just okay. Good only and only for CAKES.
I wanted to buy two 1/2 kg cakes different flavors. I requested if they could make it as a step cake with the two of my choice but they simply refused. I suggested that they should try it when I am ready to pay for two 1/2 kg cakes and for the accessories involved.

Ordered the Chocolate Mars Cake for a family occasion this morning. I must say it was indeed phenomenal. The fresh pastry was moist, fresh, just sweetened enough and quite professionally made as well.
The young lady who served me very knowledgeable, courteous as well. The pricing of the cake too was fantastic compared to today’s real high pricing in the market. You have earned yourself a repeat customer in me for sure. Thank you so much.

We tried Veg Pizza , Samosa & Veg Sandwich this time. Everything was good at taste but veg sandwich was too good. It was hot , fresh & soft :) Quality & Taste is same on almost all outlets.

A place for ppl who have a sweet tooth, so many varieties of pastries, but specially I like the fruit flavors they serve, like blueberry, green apple and strawberry. They have a huge range for chocolate pastries too. Must try are blueberry, chocolate brownies and chocolate fruit and nuts. And off course it's highly pocket friendly, never had such cheap pastries in my life!!, Like seriously 30 bucks starting that's like grt.

Excellent location, savouries and pastries. Marking them down due to painfully slow service, absence of card payment facility and excess use of sugar syrup. Do try Galaxy (don't eat last layer, sugar syrup yuck) and chocolate cheese cake. Rest are equally awesome. Stay away from "Wonder" chocolate, wierd texture, taste and worst after taste.

Recently I went there to order a bday cake for my son who turned 2. I had read all the reviews for this place and finally settled for Choco chillz pastry, eggless version, it was just yummy. We tried a sample piece before ordering. We ordered the pastry which looked like a bmw car.

A perfect paisa vasool pastry shop! This cake shop is near by Maiyas restaurant actually hidden inside a street. You can notice a Canara bank ATM and the street to the left of this ATM leads you to various food joints like Flamenco cafe, Raasta Paasta, Tandoori nights and Amma's Pastries is one among them.
White forest, black forest, pineapple, rich chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch and various other flavours they offer and each one of them are delicious. Have been visiting this place for a year and till now no complaints! Touchwood.
Though the place is small, it is neatly maintained and the staff are quick. Along with pastries they do offer few savoury snacks like Aloo bun, veg and chicken samosa and what attracted me was the small cute pizza for Rs.20. Loved it! I would recommend you all to take away the pastries and eat at peace. That is when you will enjoy the flavours.

This place is behind Jayanagar police station. I am a regular visitor here. All pastries are freshly prepared even birthday cakes you can get within 1 Hr. It's reasonably priced when compared to other shops. They have introduced new flavours when we went today which was chocolate fruit and nut many other flavours in chocolate pastries. They also have home made chocolates. Evenings you get samosa, veg puff, chips and all birthday party items. You get plain cakes, lava cakes, yummy looking cup cakes and many new items. It's the best and reasonably priced place. Assure you that you will not be disappointed. Try it once!!

Amma's has been the been place where all our celebration cakes come from. Apart from the variety of pastries they offer, the other savoury items such as chicken bun and other rolls too are mouthwatering.
I have had my share of goof ups with them. Had ordered for a 5kg eggless triple queen and they ended up making one with the egg. But their manager was kind enough to resolve the issue quickly and redo all the work.
Love the blueberry cheese cake. Also the ready to pack cakes on their shelves are fresh and delicious.

First Experience at Amma's Pastries was almost 7 years back on my Birthday when dear bud of mine Rahul Gowda got a Chocolate Mars Cake. The Cake was super fresh which is the USP for Amma's Pastries. The Chocolate cream and sponge cake used in the Cake was of top quality and tasted Absolutely yummy. Since then any celebration with family, Friends, colleagues is incomplete without an Amma's Pasteries or Cake. I would recommend to try Chocolate Mars, Chocolate Butterscotch, Opera, Choco Chillz and never ever miss out an opportunity to bite into "Sacher" which I feel is the Best Cake at Amma's. The Birthday, Anniversary and Send off Celebrations with Amma's will continue in the future unless there is a Drastic fall in the quality.

I've been ordering pastry cakes from this outlet for years and they've never disappointed me. Their chocolates are pretty good too.

I used to buy cakes from Sweet Chariot. And the one in Jayanagar disappointed me with a very bad cake (I'll spare you the gory details) which I had to carry for a friend's birthday immediately. Feeling helpless, I came out of the SC store and found Amma's right next to it. Though I had never been there before, I had heard it's pretty good.
So I went in there, only to be pleasantly surprised by the number of delicious cakes at less cost, ready for the taking! You can imagine my relief. I just picked a random chocolate cake and reached the birthday party on time. The cake was loved by all. And since then, Amma's hasn't seized to please me (and my friends and relatives) with its yummy cakes.
It's reasonable pricing is a cherry on top of the icing ;-)

To be honest, I wasn't particular about any of the pastry shops when it comes to pastries, since I used to visit the nearest pastry outlet around.. But these guys bake some really tasty and fresh pastries.. Have tasted their, Lychee, Chocolate mars and celebration chocolate cakes which were very delicious.. The best part is one can expect to get celebration cakes weighing 1 kilo and more without even placing an order in advance.. Quick service.. Moderately priced...

The pastries are definitely very good no doubt. But unfortunately, I have been spoilt with 5 star hotel cakes and pastries since my childhood :) So, by my standards, it is good but not the best. The spongy part of it is good, but then the cream is not the way I like it. But still, it's one of the better cake shops around.
This cake place is one of the many branches located in 4th Block, Jayanagar. Amma's pastries has quite a lot of branches across the city. Famous for their pastries, went there to try it out. And I wasn't disappointed.

This one of the places on my Top 10 pastry shops in Bangalore.
The chocolate pastries here are really good like The chocolate truffle cake and not to mention the chocolate donut although it could be more soft and light.
The samosa here is not so good , the thing about it that I didn't like was that they put groundnuts in it . When you bite into that good looking samosa the taste of hard groundnuts overwhelms everything else.
But it is a place not to miss if you are feeling a little hungry for something new .

This branch of ammas is better than malleswAram one. And of course, it is famous for its pastries. The taste is good and it is freshly baken and served. This place is good for birthday cakes and pastries. Its very economic and tasty. I tried triple queen, lychee, almond, choco bar, chocolate truffle, and all were excellent. However, being a chocolate lover, I once bought the chocolates from here and it was way tooo sweet.
This is one of the places to Order Cakes. With Sweet Chariot closing down in Jayanager (opp the Police Station) this place is more than welcome alternative. Any occassion to celebrate we order cakes from here. My personal favourtite is the Choco Chillz (Thats what it is called I think.............) which actulally melts in your mouth and taste lingers.. The cake is super soft and blends well with the Chocolate icing. Rest assured that the half kg cake which we usually buy for small occassions is devoured by the 4 of us in no time.
Even yesterday we ordered one for my friends anniversary and the cake did not disappoint us at all. Infact everyone were licking their fingers :-)

Great cakes, great prices. Loved their tiramisu and chocolate cakes.
They can do better if they improve on their quality of service and their behaviour towards customers... Had bad experience when we had been there to please order for our daughter birthday, they gave us the sample cake to taste and our 3 year old daughter started saying it's bad after me tasting the sample I found it to be rotten on questioning they argued to be fresh... Well that was my final and last visit... Before that incident we had taken several pastries for different occasions of ours... No comments on their pastries but for their attitude...

Amma's Pastries - Dont go by the name, this place has a the most tastiest, softest and freshest pastries with a huge display- from my personal favourites - the chocolate cheese cake to the regulars - fresh cream pineapple, mango and strawberry pasties. Extremely reasonable and definitely much more than worth it. Bulk orders take no more than 20m on a normal day. You can also visit this place for an evening snack as they have an ordinary range of bakery products.

This is definitely my favorite pastry shop in Bangalore. Have tried almost everything and the taste has always been great. Prices are also very reasonable and the consistency of quality delights me!
One of the very few places in Bangalore where you can actually find good cheesecake. I always go for the Blueberry cheese cake as it's my favorite. This is the place we generally order cakes for friends' birthdays and has never let us down. Also, if refrigerated, it doesn't get spoilt too soon. It may not sound like a big deal, but from most other places when we have ordered cakes, they do go stale in spite of being refrigerated. Cannot think of anything negative about Amma's, hence I'm rating it 5/5.

A small shop among the other restaurants and cafe in the street, this place was crowded with people swarming like honey bees, just to get their shares of cakes and pastries.
I headed in to the shop cutting through the crowd and chose my cakes , which took 20 minutes to be put into a box and given, while the bill generation and payment job was done in no later than 30 seconds :-). Let's leave the situational talks aside; they are not of much importance here.
Taking about the cakes, I chose pineapple pastry, chocolate cake and dark chocolate brownie. The pineapple pastry was quite different from what I generally buy at any other places. It had a glazed cream topping (quite new to me since I have always stuck to Just Bake, Daily Breads or Sweet Chariot for my pastries). Didn't mean the heaven, but was decent enough. Lacked the flavour of pineapple.
However, I failed to notice a difference between the Chocolate Cake and the Brownie, since both had the cake structure. I mean even the brownie were fluffy like a cake (funny). Just the chocolate ganache differed with one having regular chocolate and the other glazed chocolate.
Overall experience has been good. The cakes are good enough to satisfy your craving for pastries and pricing is reasonable.
I would visit this place again for a casual shopping of pastries.

No sugarless cakes. Homemade chocolates, puff,donuts, small pizzas and many more items also available. Everything is quite inexpensive ( half kg averages around 250) and quality and taste is top notch.
