Nice cosy place. I ordered for mixed fired rice , double fried chilli chicken ( quantity was small) , momos, wonton soup and Schwann noodles. I really liked all of them. Especially the fried rice. Unfortunately there was nothing available in lamb.

A very small place, but make no mistake, lip smacking Chinese cuisine served at reasonable price. Ambience isn't much to brag about but a decent dine in place.

Service takes 10-15 mins after placing the order. If there's crowd the waiting time might extend. Waiters are approachable, could get better in terms of professionalism.

Food needs an outstanding appreciation. It's one of the best Chinese restaurants. We ordered,
1. Veg manchow soup - the traditional manchow soup is brown in colour whereas this was very light. A good amount of veggies was cooked well into the soup.
2. Chicken clear soup - loved this soup. The consistency was perfect with scrumptious flavours and chunks of chicken.
3. Veg spring rolls - a very good appetizer for vegetarians. The roll was crisp outside.
4. Chicken steamed wontons - a type of Chinese dumpling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. my most favourite dish of all. To be relished with the sauces they provide (chilli vinegar, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce). The skin is so thin and the stuffing is too yummy to be true. Could finish the entire plate by myself.
5. Chicken fried rice- a very flavourful rice cooked with chicken tenders. Again, enjoy this with the sauces for out of the world experience.

Pricing is way too affordable for the quality and quantity of food served. The authenticity is remarkable. One of my favourite places. You must visit to know what you're missing out on!!

Kim lee is a name which will remind you of old school Calcutta style Chinese food. The decor or the food, everything is filled with nostalgia. Double fried chili chicken & mixed fried rice are brilliantly made. Still salivating at the thought of it. Hot garlic fish was decent & went well with the rice. Pricing is reasonable and service is quite prompt. Lovely experience it was.

Must try- clear soup or dragon soup and steamed chicken wontons and double fried chilli chicken.

This place has been around since early 1990 and am a regular here.
Small place, easy to miss, not until you notice the typical Chinese red and greens.
Ambience —3/5.
They have downsized the space, only 4-5 tables.

Is the STAR. 🌟🌟🌟For as long as I remember, the taste has been the same, consistent at all times.

Must try—- Sweet corn soup, Barbeque chicken, 5 spice chicken, fried rice and noodles.
Good portion size, pocket friendly and good old Chinese.

This is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants I have known . I have been visiting the place from when I was 4 or 5 years old , it's more like authentic Chinese and not indo chinenese food ..
one of the best place to eat Chinese food without over exaggeration like other fancy Chinese restaurants do.. The food is classy, tasty and chineeeeyyy 😉
Good food, good quality, good quantity and what more.
There is no tasty powder in the food but good food with natural taste

No other Chinese restaurant in Blore is so good as this one.

Well the look of the hotel both from outside and  inside is not so impressive .
Ideal for take away . The food turns to be awesome some day and below average sometimes , guess the chef might be very moody !!! . I expect the good taste to continue as nearby Rajajinagar you will not find such a good quality of pork dishes ..

An old Chinese place which is very well known by the locals of Rajajinagar, I had heard one too many stories of how this placed used to be the best place in and around Rajajinagar to get decent Chinese food! So after hearing all the folk tales, I finally braved up to give this place a visit. The place looked dull from the outside, Right next to it was a bar that gave the strong stench of alcohol (Also one of the reason why this family loving restaurant is often misunderstood as a bar). As I entered, I saw the green wall paint peeling making me question my choice, I pretty much did not expect a decorated ambience so I let it slide as I sat at one corner of the room waiting for the menu.
Much to my surprise I noticed too many dishes in this almost abandoned place that I had walked into, with much dilemma I checked with the waiter if these dishes were available, With an amused smile he chuckled, "Yes sir!", So I gave him a list of dishes that I wanted to be served, He said that it'll take them a few minutes to prepare a course of chicken soup, starters, noodles and rice. So I had a few minutes to spare and started to analyze the interiors of the building, It took me a few minutes to realize that there were certain antique wall hangings and some amazing paintings hung all across the place, My keen eyes kept studying each hanging, a few minutes had passed while I was lost in the antiques, The waiter brought me back with a, "Sir, Your soup", So I began to take a sip of the Dragon Soup, It was a delicacy which certainly is not available anywhere else in Bangalore! The Tom-Yum soup was equally lip smacking with pungent spices that gives an after taste. My next course with the starters, Black pepper sauce pork, Golden crispy chicken and Pork chilly filled my tummy! The main course was brilliantly cooked mixture of Egg rice and prawns fried rice, I have never seen a restaurant in my life that valued the quantity of prawns in the rice, I could get a whole shrimp with each spoon!
Don't judge the place by its cover, The torn seats and the wall paper have too many stories to tell, You just need to listen! You can have a peaceful meal without a worry and be lost in the Chinese antiques for hours!

Ambience - 4/5
Value For Money - 3/5
Food - 5/5

Advice to the management:
Maybe some advertisements could lighten up the place here! The toilets are really dirty, You really really need to clean them up, try Domex?

If you want to try Chinese food in Rajajinagar then this the best place. Don't try Chinese foods in south Indian restaurant that will be a joke for you.

Entered Kim Lee for the first time despite being in the same area for more than 2 decades!  For me, it always looked a little dingy from the outside.  We went in just to try the place even though we weren't that hungry enough.  We went in at around 2 pm, and only one other table was occupied.  We ordered roast pork, Szechwan chicken fried rice, and prawn danmien noodle.  The service was quick.  The roast pork tasted good with a thick gravy, but the quantity of meat wasn't up to the mark when compared to the price being charged.  The quantity of rice and noodle was more than sufficient.  The noodle had generous amounts of prawn.  The final bill came up to 650/- (exactly as mentioned in here) without any soft drink.

All in all, a good place, although it's too early for me to really rate it with just a couple of dishes.  Lots more left to explore.  This was the beginning I was looking for (at least it didn't turn out to be a damp squib).

Had been here a few months back with a cousin of mine

The place is dim lit with around 10-12 tables.

I didn't try their soups. Directly went to starters.
We ordered the Chicken lollipop which was very good. Crispy on the outside and soft juicy on the inside. Then we ordered the Drums of heaven which were lollipops with schezwan sauce on top, it was really good. The sauce went really well with the chicken

For main course we had Chicken Hakka noodles which was good as usual and Hunan chicken which was spicy and went well with the Noodles

The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The service is fast enough

The prices match with other Chinese restaurants, around 180/dish

Overall a nice Chinese place to go with your family.

The only negative point is there is no parking anywhere nearby

Been here occasionally and its very close to my place and it is a bit confusing to find this place thanks to the local bar next to it so people usually try to move away from that smelly bar next to the restaurant hence tend to miss the place. The ambience isnt that great and its cleanliness level is average and so i usually opt for a take out as its a much better option, coming to the food. Quality, taste of the food is actually better than the place and their paneer fried rice is absolutely delicious. Even though i am a meat lover this place makes the best paneer fried rice according to me and the second best is the chicken fried rice and their quantity is great, its satisfying.

Have been regular to kim lee and like the flavours he has to offer. Last noon was no different.
Ordered veg danmein and dragon chop suey for me. All time favourite, that chop suey. It didn't disappoint. Spicy sauce and crispy noodles, unbeatable.
Friends ordered chicken american chop suey and chicken cantonese.
SURPRISE! SURPRISE! BOTH OF THEM DOWN WITH EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA AND FLOODGATE RETCHING.
A CLASSIC CASE OF FOOD POISONING, SUSPECT CHICKEN WAS SERVED.
Have half a mind to head there and confront them about this betrayal. The levees of my trust lay breached.
I do not have it in me to give them one more chance, however because their food and i go back a long way, have fond memories of our can uncle treating us here on his birthdays followed by a stiff one at Srinivas bar next door, i am willing to pardon them this one time.

We have been loyal patrons of this restaurant for over a decade now. Nothing comes quite as close to Kimlee when you crave that comfort Indian Chinese food. We order in from here at least once a month, if not more often. Remember dining here as kids but since then the restaurant interiors have gotten shabbier and more grimy so prefer to order in, and it is the better option! Menu is the staple Indian Chinese with occasional hints of indianised Thai thrown in. Must try are their crisp veg wantons, chicken satay, babycorn manchurian (dry), Hunan chicken, Schezuan or veg fried rice and noodles. Every order of ours at Kimlee ends with "minimum oil please" and somehow it still manages to be slightly greasy, so unless you really enjoy oily food, do mention the same. The pricing used to be extremely reasonable and even cheap a few years ago but it has steadily increased over time, however not expensive at all! But the quantity has noticeably reduced over the years. A meal for 2 with one starter, two mains and a gravy should cost between 500-700 depending on vegetarian or non-vegetarian. In all these years we've never had complaints regarding wrong orders or bad tasting food except for the occasional grease! Glad for these guys being around in an area otherwise deplete of even Remotely-Chinese eating options!

Food- 4/5
Ambience- better to order in. The restaurant is dark and dingy- 2/5
Service- home delivery is very prompt except in bad weather conditions, which is totally justifiable- 4.5/5

A nondescript restaurant tucked away near Bashyam Circle, this is Kim Lee for you. You could easily miss this thanks to the dark glassed door, the paanwala and the chemist next door if it were not for the red Chinese lantern hanging outside. If I were judging a place solely by the ambience I wouldn't go anywhere near this shady looking joint. Well I warned you, didn't I?! They do have a dark glassed door. But I have stepped in and lots of times too, and what's more I take my mother along as well who will go anywhere for a good Chinese meal.

The point is we had tried Beijing Bites and Chung's and frankly we were quite disappointed by their substandard fare though they do home delivery, a saving grace for those desperate Sundays when we yearned for Chinese. And lo enter Kim Lee.

Kim Lee's Chinese is a class apart from the aforementioned joints or Wang's Kitchen or any place you can think about in their category - the Rs 500 range, good portion size and lip smacking food.

For those living in Vijayanagar, Rajajinagar, Basveshwanagar and thereabouts if you haven't tasted Chinese from Kim Lee you are missing out. Pity the management has not done enough to advertise the good food they serve. Though service is good the lack of marketing shows. Well, good for mum and I since we have always managed to get seating & prompt, courteous service. Here are our favourites and before I list it let me suggest you try all the dishes that says Kim Lee...coz their chef seems to put that something special in all their signature dishes.

Kim Lee is a savior for Chinese lovers if you are staying in Rajajinagar. There is just one proper Chinese restaurant in this area and it's this one.
As a kid, Kim Lee was the first ever Chinese restaurant that i had dined in and continues to remain my favorite till this date. What makes Kim lee stand out? Well it's just the flavor of the food which is so different compared to what you find in other Chinese dinning places. It's unique, delicious and leaves you asking for more.

I have dinned at the restaurant only once as i used to generally order the food at home almost every Sunday. The ambiance is alright, it's plain and simple. The only thing to look forward for is the food.
Kim Lee is one of those Chinese restaurants that serve the best tomato soup in town. Along with this the veg manchow soup and the sour and pepper soup are worth a try too. Spring rolls and wantons are very crispy, which i love!
In the main course i usually eat the egg fried rice along with veg ball manchurian. The veg noodles is nice too. Oh, and the potato garlic sauce is something i have tried out only once, which i liked but i prefer the manchurian one over this.

The home delivery service is quick, takes up to 20 minutes if you are staying in the same area and max 30 mins if you are residing in close by areas.
Cost for two comes around 500/- and the quantity offered is a lot, more than sufficient for two people.

So, in all if you stay around this area do try out this place, it is worth it. :)

Bangalore really falls short of budget chinese restaurants. You have your Chung wahs and Beijing bytes but well.. there is a point when you have had enough of those. Enter Kim Lee. The food has been great every time and there's loads of variety be it starters or otherwise. Try the barbeque chicken or the pan fried chilli chicken and you will know what Kim lee is all about. Fried rice and chopsuey are far better than any chungs or BB. For the price, Kim lee is a steal. Don't miss it if you are in this part of the city.

An amazing restaurant......i cannot really say something about the ambience because its a very old restaurant and they have improved the interiors. But let me tell you one thing. The food what you get here is just too good. Its reasonable, tasty and a wide range of money. A meal for four would cost you Rs.1000/-. This restaurant has just one glitch . Although it is located on the main road,it is easy to miss it in the heavy traffic that piles up in front of the restaurant as there is a bus stop right there. But the residents who live around KIM LEE are always happy to tickle their taste buds. I have been a regular to this restaurant for the last 15 yrs and the food quality has not changed.

It is a small cozy place with the a nice theme in the restaurant. Food is amazingly yum. We tried veg herbal soup, veg steamed wanton. It was absolutely delicious and authentic. No added flavours. You can only experience by eating it. For non veg go with the suggestions they give. It is totally worth it for appetisers. In the main course, we tried mix triple veg fried rice and chopsuey. Rice was amazing and chopsuey was not bad. Give it a try.
