Ordered ' Stream Momo ' twice or thrice, it taste delicious and flavourful. There serve red chutney which compliment the momo's equally. Worth the money. You can surely try their Momo.

It's a small place, not the cafe/fine-dine type ambiance. But would love to go again and if yo are a Chicken momo, chicken shaptra, tingmo fan then you must visit this place.
Great food at a very reasonable price. Nothing fancy when it comes to interior. Their service is quick. I keep visiting this place because of their shaptra-with-tingmo, it's filling and mouthwateringly delicious.
Food is tasty and priced reasonably. From outside, the shop looks very small, and even the interiors are not up to the mark. Service lady is lazy. But the food compensates for all. And above all, there aren't a lot of Tibetan restaurants in that area.
Would recommend to try shaptra, momo and noodles.
Don't go by the looks of this place, if you want to have good food without burning a hole in your pocket this is it.

Hiden gem in koramangla 5th block. Really tasty food served in a very pocket friendly budget. Soup could have been better but i cannot cut even half star as the other dishes were so nice. Service was really nice.

Nice little place for authentic Tibetan cuisine in the busy 5th block of Koramangala. The place is not a looker but the food is very vfm and tastes really, really good.
We went there on a sunday afternoon and had ‘Beef mixed momo thukpa’ and ‘Beef saptra with tingmo’. Both tastes awesome and the quantity is quite enough.
Would visit again to try other items on menu. So the review might change in future based on those experiences. As of now, we loved it.

Let me make one thing clear. The moment you choose this place as a place to eat, forget class and service, imagine as though you are cooking Maggi or Koka noodles at your place.

I'm a huge fan of the Tibetan cuisine, this of course comes with having a girlfriend from the north east (more about that later :P) but, taking a look at all the Tibetan places across Koramangala, Momo Hut will give you the best thukpa. So, undoubtedly, go ahead and order thukpas, fearlessly.
Nope you won't die or have any tummy issues (for those with a sensitive constitution). I've been a regular here and the thukpas have been consistent and amazing throughout. Definitely a must go to place on my list.
I was craving for good noodles and came to this place , and trust me I wasn't disappointed at all.
I asked for some extra vegetables and little more spice in my veg schezwan noodles and it was exactly what I was expecting.
Totally recommend this place , don't go with it's exterior or seating.

If you are looking for good tasty momos and dont care much about ambience, this is the place to go. It's a decent food joint at the veey busy street of kormangla. They serve very tasty Tibetan cuisine which i find one of the best in banglore. I have tried many dishes steam momo, thupka, phing with tingmo, fried rice etc over my multiple visits and all the dishes were very good. The only complaint i have is with fried momo which i tried last time, it was too oily, salt was also less i felt, it was not what i expected.
If you are looking for tasty Momos and don't care much about ambience then this is perfect place for you. This place is exactly opposite to Echoes and near to This is a Tibetan Restaurant. You can see walls covered with Tibet Calendar and other things of Tibet.
We visited this place in search of good momo's like we get in North-East with spicy chutney. And this place we found as one of the best place of Bangalore to have Momo's.
And this place came out to be really good. We ordered Fried and Steamed Momos .
Fried Momos were really tasty. They were fried perfectly..Not less not more. And filling was also really good. Liked it very much. Only thing it was bit oily. If they remove extra oil before serving then it will be perfect.
Steamed Momos were also great. Steamed perfectly. Filling was good but it could be better.
Service was quick. And Staff is sweet. The girl who serves sometimes get lost in her thoughts. But it's ok.
Overall experience was great. Totally recommend.

It is a treasure in the city. The authentic food is so good here. Prices are very reasonable. My favourite is the chicken bas noodles. Also try the thukpa. Great place!
Even after 15 years, this is unadorned little place in a busy Koramangala bylane is still home to the best Tibetan food in Bangalore. From the thupka to the shaptra to the fried/steamed momos, this place still doles out the loveliest food.
And at prices that still are close to how much I paid for these exact dishes during my college years.

We were a group of 5 people .
We ordered 3 chicken fried rice, a beef noodles and a beef Fried rice. We also had chicken thukpa
Fried rice tastes good at the start while it's hot but as it cools down the taste is lost and it feels bland.
Meat was cooked properly but it lacked flavours.
But well this joint is knows for it's Tibetan food so shouldn't judge em just based on this. So we ordered a bowl of chicken thukpa
It's a specialty noodles with chicken soup and meat . The soup was amazing and it proved why they're known for.
Well we were on time constraints and for some reason or another the beef noodles didn't come on time and we had to leave. My friend who ordered it was kept hungry and he was naturally pissed off but the manager was very courteous and helpful. He didn't include beef noodles in the bill and packed it for my friend. That immediately cooled off his mood and later he felt bad for not paying. I really appreciate the manager for the gesture . I'll visit the place again and try their specialty .
Also it's a very pocket friendly place.
Don't judge it for the ambience cuz it's not for it.

Nice place for Beef Lovers. I have seen so much varieties of Beef only here. Beef shaptra is simply awesome here. Best place to have Beef. Have tried almost five varieties of Beef all r good. Haven't tried chicken items 😜
This place is amazing if you love TIbetan cuisine. The Mokthuk is mouth-watering! Also, their thukpa is one of the finest in the city.Quiet and small place, they can look at managing the place better with quicker order turn-outs. The food is yummy, so I don't mind the waiting time!
I have been going to this place for the last 8 years and the taste still remains the same. A very small modest place behind Boho in Koramangala, they serve one of the best momos in the city. Fried chicken momos are yumm and to top it is their super awesome chilli flakes sauce. Also, do try their egg chow mein... I bet this is desi Chinese vintage stuff. Their service too is quite kind and humble and I'd strongly recommend this place to try some authentic eastern cuisine.
I went here 2 years back. It took us a long time to find the place. The food was good with reasonable price. Ambience is not that good but it is a nice place to have some good Tibetian food. I'm not a friedrice fan but since my dad don't like chowmein, we ordered fried rice and some side dish also we ordered but I don't remember the name. It was good.
We also ordered steam chicken momos and fried chicken momos. It was my first time trying fried momos as I was new to Tibetian or other Chinese foods and all that time. But I like the steamed ones more and even now after trying fried momos in many other places also my favorite is the steamed ones.
I may not visit the place again as I have Tibetan restaurants near my place but that doesn't mean I didn't like the food. It was good but the place is a little far for me.
I don't get why people judge the looks of the place .. I mean you saw how it looked before you say down, you know? Anyway the food was amazing and so cheap! Got the hot and sour soup, fried Momos and beef shaptra and that summed up to be a great dinner! Please give it a try.
Authentic Tibetan cuisine and not bad but some people might not like it as it is authentic Tibetan and not the Indianised version. We had veg steam momos, chicken shabalay, a veg thupka and a mix thupka with momos. The fillings inside the veg momos were really fresh and you could taste the genuineness, the chicken shabalay were amazing, though fried it was not oily. The thupka was decent and the quantity was pretty good, you need to have a good appetite for it 😜. The staff were really friendly and helpful which is a bonus. Not a lot of variety for veg though but please specify that you are vegetarian while ordering so they won't use chicken masala in thupka.
I have been going to this place when it was literally a hut. A tiny little place that serves amazing beef shaptra with Tingmo and thukpa. In fact I love the momos and almost every dish on the menu is mouth watering. The prices are reasonable enough.
I have never been disappointed with this place. My favourite dish has always been beef shaptra served here. Right amount of spice and juicy. They have renovated the place and this place is always crowded. The staff are overwhelming and friendly.

My favourite Momo in Bangalore. Neatly tucked in the road parallel to Jyothi nivas college this place is no difficult to spot! Yummy juicy momos and thupkas are my favourites from the Momo hut.
The place is very small and maybe a lil shabby too but hygenic!

I was introduced to Momo hut by my hubby 5+years before :) from then I am huge fan of Momo hut... But that time it was run by an Aunt , seems now management changed so did the taste :( I think Momo hut has a big hand in making momos so famous in Bangalore , so please get the old good taste back :)
I just go back to their 1 signature dish Chicken Shaptra - it's just out of the world.
I have eaten at most of the Tibetan places in and around koramangala but this one stand out is Shaptra. Other dishes like momos , noodles , rice is average.
Just a word of caution - it's super spicy..
My favorite for momos around Bangalore. They serve the best and it's totally worth for what you pay for. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. Very simple place to hang out by an evening. Must try tukpa.

A group of us visited mono hut today.
We ordered beef shaptak ( a dry preparation with vegetables) with tingmo (steamed bun) and beef momos. I've visited this restaurant on several occasions as I've always enjoyed their beef dishes that are at extremely reasonable.
Ambience- There isn't much to the ambience. It's a simple, quiet place with walls decorated in Tibetan flags and a few paintings.
Staff and service - The food comes quickly and is hot and tasty! The staff is friendly and certainly know what to recommend if you aren't familiar with Tibetan food. They don't accept card, so make sure you carry cash or have Paytm.
Food- The shaptak with tingmo is a dish for those who enjoy spicy food. It's extremely filling and is served with the red chilli sauce most Tibetan restaurants serve. Though it is a beef fry, it wasn't dropping in oil. I loved the flavours of the vegetables add to the beef. You experience a burst of flavours in your mouth.
I've always enjoyed the momos here but unfortunately they weren't up to mark today. This is one of the few places where the momos are stuffed properly and are extremely filling, almost like a dish by itself.
Overall, these are the two main dishes that never disappoint. I have tried the chicken shaptak on one occasion and it was on par with the beef one.
This is one of my favourite places in Bangalore. It's a small place but it has the best people. The best service with friendly staff. The food is different and has a rich taste. Shaptra with tingmo is their all time greatest. Thenthuk and soups are amazing too. MUST TRY PLACE.
I simply loooove the food in Momo Hut. I'd give a 10/10 for the beef shaptra that they serve, brilliant stuff, really. The chicken momos and the theinthuk are also amazing. I've had better thukpa and chowmein in other places, however.

Chances of Tibetan food getting screwed is very rare especially at small Tibetan places like this. The Shaptak with Tingmo is a must try ! Good food at cheap rates.
Amazing food, must go to place! Order any thukpa (they're all excellent) and the beef shaptra. Their service is quick and the food is piping hot! There are quite a few Tibetan eateries in kormangala but I'd say this one's the best. Little bit over priced but I'd say still a must try.
Amazing place with the best momos in Bangalore. My favorite dish is the shaptra with thingmu. The ambience is nothing great but good enough to sit. They can definitely improve on their Hygiene though. But still, absolutely love it! Will keep coming again and again!
Well this isn't a place that boasts about anything..
Simple.. it is a small hut indeed which actually fills your stomach without disturbing your pockets.. with quite a few lip-smacking dishes.. but very few indeed.. the menu isn't vast.. maybe 6 or at most 10 visits can make it possible to try everything they offer here.. but worth a go definitely.. on a regular basis.. not for a special occasion or the likes of it..

This place is a small shack, located in parallel road to jyoti nivas college. Ambience is just pretty average nothing great about it.
They serve authentic tibetan food ranging from momos to soups, chowmein, noodles, rice, shaptras phings, mohtuks etc.
Tried the momos, they r good nothing great about them can get better momos out there. Must try is the chicken momo served with a tangy not so spicy Chilli chutney
Shaptra: a must try dry dish made of meat of your choice(chicken, beef), it's tossed in spices greens onions and tomatoes, served with piping hot tingmo( a tibetan classic bread) tried both of them the beef one being better.
Momothupka: a new recent addition, huge momos along with noodles in a soup also filled with greens n veggies. Opt for the chicken.
Thentuk: flat noodles in soup only difference to thupka
Soups: nice, less spicy, filling and reasonably priced soups
Phing:soup with meat chucks served with tingmo. Nothing great about it I'd still go for the shaptra.
Service : polite owners. Can get a bit slow on rush hours coz they serve the food hit and fresh.
Caution: they add ajinomoto to the food here, and after buttery taste to the tongue is something natural. Allergic people can develop throat pain.
Overall a good place In Koramangala for grabbing some momos n shaptra(must try).
Had Heard a lot about this place so i went there one evening. Had ordered veg steamed momos, it was decent. The sauce was too spicy and only chilly was there with no flavours. I won't say, the best momos you get there. An okayish place it was.
The New Momo Hut has a revamped design and a better seating experience ( Regulars would know the bad seating and the leaky roofing which was there around a year ago ). The Food quality is good / almost the same. Noticably the place has become cleaner. The Chicken Shaptra with Tingmo is my go to choice.
Would i visit this place again: Oh yes.
Food and Hygiene Standards: College Students - Good. Couples with Lunch/ Dinner Dates: Nope. ( Yes if he/she likes it , IYKWIM ).

One of the best places to try out soups, momos & chopsueys around JNC.
- I tried out the dragon chopsuey, momos & Laphing. - It was amazing. Most of the dishes are a bit spicy but great in flavors.
- Per person it'll come up to 150-250.
- You can hang out with your friends & families.
The best to dine in for lunch and evening snack or dinner.
The parking is an issue, but there will be a bit of space though.

this is an update review : Momo hut has now shifted to 4th floor of Tibet Mall which is GARDEN ASIA restaurant. The chef of momo hut will still make you your favorite dishes but the pricing and bill will be according to Garden Asia. Chicken shaptak is now 199 and tingmo is 50 bucks. Also they dont serve shaptak and tingmo together anymore. Original momo hut is expected to resume by 2 months.
It's a very cute and small place in Koramangala. The service there is fast and really good.

We ordered Chicken Momo Thupka, a Vegetable Momo Thupka and Dry Chicken Laphing.
They were all delicious. They also had a spicy dip on the side if you like your food to be spicy.

If you're on a lookout for some nice Tibetan food you're probably at the right spot, this is a small little place with decent ambience which gives you the north eastern vibes. The person who manages the place was nice and friendly. I tried the chicken thukpa noodle soup along with some steamed momos and it was amazing. I wanted to try more of their dishes but i was already heavy with the food i had, i'll definitely be back and try more of their dishes.
A tiny little place in the heart of all the busy pubs! A perfect getaway for a quick bite once you're done drinking from the pubs around.
I would not like to rate the ambiance of a place like this as they are a very small business and they have focused more on the food rather than making their place look fancy.
It is run by young enthusiastic North Eastern men and you can see their passion for serving you food from their land!
