Had ordered 70% dark chocolate and almond dark chocolate. I was a bit sceptical after reading reviews but I must say the packaging was good, no issues with that. The taste was perfect, dark chocolates weren't too sweet nor too bitter. I really enjoyed the taste and it's worth the price.
Great place to taste hand made chocolate. They have variety of chocolates. Dark choc is very good with 70% of dark choco. You can try almond choc, cashew choc and many more different types.
A must try for a huge variety of home made chocolate. Loved it so much that I ended up buying almost half the varieties on offer. Easy on the sugar level and well priced
Whenever I am in Koramangala, I make sure to try a new outlet for a meal, and then head to Ooty chocolates for sweet takeaways. The town of Ooty is known for its chocolate production and this place does justice to the name.
I have tried more than a few flavours here, and I'd recommend that the ones with no additions of fruits or nuts are the best, but maybe that's just my preference at this place. My favourite is the mint chocolate, though it does not agree with most of my friends (More for me! Hahaaa!). Other notable mentions are the Bitter chocolate, White chocolate and the Rum Raisin chocolate.
The chocolates are sold by weight, and they are in bite sized squares. This means they're easy to share or to munch on while walking through the posh streets of Koramangala. I know, it sounds gluttonous, but hey, you are walking it off too!
It's one of my most frequented places in the area. I'd surely recommend. :)
Im a big fan of local business or outlets that provide authentic and unique characteristic products which are specific to a region than the brands . Which got me interested in ooty chocolates initially.. I was aware of their stores in jayanagar and Koramangala but usually ended up purchasing the prepacked boxes at namdharis . Finally took a tour to the store .. loved their dark chocolate.. the one with almonds aswell .. then the fruit and nut and rum and raisin.. I immensely dislike the mint chocolate though đ the chocolates make for an excellent gifting option and are economically priced .
Satisfies your random late night cravings for home made chocolates. An ideal snack for those hostellers with a sweet tooth as it doesn't have to be refrigerated to stay as lovely as it is.
We love their chocolates , it has been a routine for us to buy from them every month in bulk. Their 70% dark, bitter almond, roasted cashew, butterscotch, orange, mint and black current in white are so tasty to kill for. One of the best places to buy home made chocolates
This is one famous place for handmade chocolates. I like the Rum & Raisins chocolate and Roasted almonds. Mouth is still watering when I think of their chocolates.
I love the chocolates here.. It's perfect and portioned...One bar for dessert :)
my favourites are toasted almond, cashew, rum and raisin and butterscotch. Yum!
there was a time, i never used to miss this place, whenever i am passing by.. chocolates here are yumm yumm.. my favourite was always RUM & RASIN, Roasted Almond, choco nuts :P
I've always loved ooty chocolates!
Want to gift someone but don't know them too well? Ooty chocolates!
Want to gift someone without any occasion? Ooty chocolates!
Want work/office/wedding/party gifting options? Ooty chocolates!
Want to indulge yourself or pick healthy cocoa options? Ooty chocolates!
See why I love them?!
They have SO many varieties that you'll definitely find one you love. And they have amazing gift package options you can chose from so you never arrive empty handed.
My favourite though are the chocolate biscuits! From never liking them to now being addicted, their chocolate biscuits are the best simply coz they're so richly chocolaty. And the place is pretty reasonably priced too.
Amazing taste... You can feel a lot of difference in taste.... Just really good flavor not too harsh as well..... A must try for those who haven't yet.....

This store has grown from being a shop for selling Ooty hand made chocolates to bit more than that. But still that's what the shop is known for. They sell awesome and great Ooty hand made chocolates. They have great varieties such as cashew, almond, milk and dark chocolate pieces. They sell as pee weight and the quality is very reasonable for the price they charge.
This is my hunt zone whenever there is an occasion of buying chocolates.
Cheers to the owners!
I can never say no to chocolates and this place was in the checklist to fulfill my late night sweet tooth, although they have started levying taxes on chocolates i would still suggest u give this place a try best ones -Rum & raisinÂ
never try - orange and mintÂ
always loved- fruit and nut ,
One of my favourite haunts for satisfying my chocolate craving, and avoid that trip to Ooty whenever I get that craving đ This is right opposite the salon I go for my haircut and that trip is not complete without a drop in here. My fav ones Rum n Raisin, Plain bitter, chocolate rocks, chocolate fudge. If you expect symmetrical beautifully cut pieces donât be too hopeful. These are crude chopped up pieces but better than the company cut pieces anytime
Going back home to Mumbai, had to get some goodies from here for the siblings back home. Mithai seemed too archaic, any other option was going to be too difficult to rake care of while travelling, so I stuck to chocolates. Ooty Chocolates was recommended by a couple of my collegues, so gave it a shot.
I ordered through swiggy since going all the way 4th block at the last hour was out of question. Since this was the first time I was ordering from this place, I decided to keep it limited. Opted for classic milk chocolate and the rum and raisin which is quite a hit. And I was not disappointed! The chocolates were not too sweet, the taste not at all synthetic. It bought back memories of home made chocolates I would get from my christian friends on occasions. The chocolates stayed firm through out the journey, and people back home were impressed.
Great place for some good quality chocolates and prices are reasonable too. Thumb up!
The best home made choclates i ever had. This is my go to place, if i want to gift or buy chocolates for my self.Â
I always loved their Rum n raisin chocolate. Milk Chocolate is a must try.Â
Infact all of their chocolates are well made. And they have good options fr gift pack as well. ;)

If you are in koramangala and are in mood for some ooty chocolates then this is the place you want to be. All chocolates are home made and got from Ooty itself. However here is what I like about the place. I try them for gifting instead of those regular packs of chocs n so on. They have some cool goodie packs and its all fancy and worth it. They even parcel the hand picked chocs and put it in a goodie bag. Gifting ideas is the best I use them for. Try their Orange choc and see if it is nice.
It is one of the most famous places for chocolate lovers in Bangalore. The handmade chocolates are truly a treat for your taste buds. I loved the run resin chocolate.
A very popular shop in koramangala as it is on the road and is like a landmark. For people who have a thing for chocolate and also for those who don't as they will develop one. Many varieties of special Ooty chocolates and they are home made. Just delicious!
Along with the Tea plantations, Ooty is known for handmade, homemade chocolates. If you are looking to have those Ooty chocolates while in Bangalore, this outlet (and a few branches in Bangalore) can help you.
I don't think you would need directions to this Ooty chocolates store, as this outlet itself doubles up as a landmark in Koramangala.
Although it's a small outlet, they have enough stock of different kinds of homemade chocolates, available in bit sized pieces. You can taste the chocolates, make the choice, get it weighed, packed and pay. You can also get it gift wrapped or place order for parties or any other occasions. I believe the minimum order should be of 100g or above. A kilo of mixed Ooty chocolates will cost you about Rs. 800.
As these chocolates are not made in machines, the pieces of the chocolates are asymmetrical, but that doesn't spoil the look of the chocolates.
My favourites are the mint chocolate, roasted almond, dark chocolate. As the name goes - the chocolates contain mint, roasted almond, and bitter dark chocolate respectively. I wish they also add the dates and raisin stuffed chocolates widely available in Ooty as well.
Quaint little place near the main road. You can sample the chocolates before you buy. Fruit n nut and rum n raisin are delicious. I am a die-hard fan of mint chocolate and I found it heavenly here. Other items to try are the roasted almonds and the crispies.
The bitter chocolate here hits the spot.
Always prefer buying chocolates for gifts etc here. They pack it well.
4/5 for the 70% dark chocolate. Not expensive either.

This is one of the places where you get the legendary Ooty chocolates. I call it legendary coz my memory for the âOoty Chocolatesâ dates back nearly 2 decades ago when some of my friend were off to Ooty and we were told to get the homemade chocolates from Ooty. We managed to find the shop and also get a few. I know that before it goes them to Bangalore ½ of it were consumed by us. Simple reason for that being it tastes different and better compared to the packaged chocolates.
Background
I remember this chocolates shop being here for quite some time, may be a decade and more. The Ooty Chocolates itself has become a chain with nearly 4-5 outlets. But it originally started from Ooty as I had shared earlier. But the concept is quite similar where you get to see various flavours of chocolates in different sections. And you read through or ask the person at store, he/she would then put the chocolates and bill it. For sure itâs the same concept thatâs being always.

Location
If you are coming from the St Johns signal, head towards the Koramangala BDA complex. The complex appears to the right side and then keep driving along. You hit upon a signal that has Sukh Sagar to the left side. And then the next signal you need to take right. As you keep taking right Ooty Chocolates appears to the right side.
If you are coming from Ejipura side i.e., from Sony World signal. You cross the signal and heading towards Koramangala BDA and you will find âOoty Chocolatesâ to left soon after the signal in the corner.
Ambiance
The place is pretty clean. There isnât anything apart from chocolates which are put in those transparent boxes and the flavours are mentioned. There are some interesting things I need to share about this place.
Chocolates are neatly made and cut into shapes which are not perfectly symmetrical coz they are not those machine made chocolates.
There is a nice transparent cover for the chocolates which feel like a covering for cake but it looks really good.
Poster on the wall that says â 11 Reasons Chocolate Is Good for Your Health. All of these points are good to read and know about chocolate. But I know that we would not mind and then go for it soon after we find chocolates in front of us.
There are gifts boxes and bags that are there for people to buy. Basically these are for gifting purpose.
The place might be small but then they have all the essential things in this place.
Food
The taste of the Ooty chocolates is quite likeable for everyone. Itâs may be the preparation style that makes it liked by everyone. I have infact tried almost all the varieties of chocolates that are there at some point or the other.
Some of my favourite at this place include â
Fruit & Nut â which for sure is favourite for many of us.
Butter Scotch â Choco with butterscotch, interesting combination.
Rum & Raisin â For sure this is like those liquor chocolates but yes it isnât that bitter.
Marable â Looks like marbles but well-made and taste yummy.
Roasted Cashew â This is something I remember being prepared at my home. But the chocolate we get here is also homemade.
Roasted Almond â Similar to previous chocolate but itâs got almond.
Apart from the ones I mentioned there are few others like â Bitter and Crispy chocolates. If you want just plain chocolate, that is also there which is called as âPlain Milkâ.
Overall Experience
It is wonderful to have chocolates from here which is always tastes good. I generally like going here and picking up few chocolates back home. It isnât as cheap as the other branded chocolates but the taste is good. I rate this place at 4.0/5.
My rating in other departments would be.
Food â 4.0/5
Service â 4.0/5
Ambiance â 4.0/5
If you do end up taking some 15-20 chocolates the price might come up to INR200-300.

This place is a stone's throw away from my home. It's iconic enough that the road is referred as 'Ooty Chocolate road' :)
They serve some of the best home made chocolates. You should try the plain white, fruit n nut, rum n raisin. They're really nice!
This is the place for organic chocolates with as many flavours as your heart pleases. We tried this place on a food trail. Their bitter chocolate with 80% cocoa is the best bet.
The chocolates from this place are rich and delicious very much like the ones you get to buy in ooty. The nutty chocolates are the best. It is great for gifting purposes.
This place is indeed as good as I had thought and expected it to be. I had some right there and took a bunch of assorted ones for friends and family. I love that they let you taste it helps a lot in making a bulk choice.
My Sweet Home! ;)
This magical Ooty chocolates outlet located at central koramangala, is the best place for homemade treats...
Almond rock, bitter chocolates, Rum and raisins, orange flavoured dark chocolate are my favourites.
I usually travel in weekends from malleswaram for these tiny bits of endorphin inducers :P...
Must try for anyone and everyone who visits Namma Bengaluru, you will leave this place smiling and full of chocolates
Best home made Ooty chocolates one can get in Bangalore. Smooth, silky, rich in taste and nuts. Always helps as a good gift from Bangalore. Staff is polite and lets one taste the samples before packing.
This place is a tiny store on the nook of a busy street in the heart of Koramangala. Nevertheless, it is packed with awesomeness. To be candid, i am not a chocolate aficionado but definitely the whole concept of home made stuff sounds fascinating.
Personally i prefer Lindt over anything else but when i tried this i was in for a pleasant surprise. I tasted at the store mint, 70% bitter and other stuff. Ended up buying 70% almond rock and rum & raisins.
All in a good chocolate experience, a must try place.
Well, who doesn't like chocolates, especially when you get some good ones at an exclusive chocolate outlet. I cannot authenticate for the chocolates relation to Ooty, but i bet you will not leave this outlet empty handed.
They have an amazing variety with good quality and reasonable pricing. My personal favorites being Almond rock , Rum & Raisins. You also have an option of trying out chocolates before you buy. They also have some nice gift boxes.
not really sure how these chocolates are related to ooty chocolates but these are home made chocolates of lots of variety. they have hell lot of flavours and they mean it. plain chocolates are divided on bitterness level. dark premium is seriously rich in terms of cocoa. I prefer 70% and 40% bitter which is perfect mix of chocolate and sweetness. cost is quiet reasonable and justifies the quality they provide. gift option is much simple and cool and could be a cool gift to someone. they even courier chocolates to wherever you want. staff is friendly, place is neatly kept. if you are in Bangalore or you have visited this place for sometime then prefer taking these chocolates back with you. :)
awesome chocolates..it was a pleasant surprise to discover this wonderful place...will definitely visit here again and again....also very pleasant staff
It is the best outlet of ooty chocolates. There is quite a large variety available. The only problem one could face here is in choosing which one to buy as all are tastier. The prices are reasonable and the people handling the outlet always have a smile while helping you selecting chocolates.

Love to have some authentic chocolates here in Ooty-chocolates !! Excelelnt stuff !!Mouthwatering also the packing looks awsome if we expect some !!
I've never tasted chocolates this good before. Worth every penny. They have so much to offer and you will have hard time choosing. Really good. Now I know why it is called the Ooty Chocolates road.
Im a chocoholic too..... but then who is not ????
Chocolates - 3. Not as good as I would like. Would request them to reduce on the fat content in same. As it does not surely melt as much as I would like it to, Though worth mentioning is that they don't spoil the taste of chocolate by increasing the sugar / glucose / sucrose content. Which most vendors do.Â
Pricing - 4. Pretty easy on pockets.
Superb chocolates and actually a whole lot better than the original ones available in ooty! Do try the toasted almond and the chocolate fudge. Yummy!
These guys know their chocolates. Fantastic homemade chocolates available in more than 10 varieties. Its light on the pockets too. Personal favorites are White chocolate and Butter Scotch. Visit this small sweet place and get yourself a treat.
Chocolates are definitely worth the penny they have good varieties of chocolates. Once in the mouth just blends in. Liked the rum and raisin and almond chocolates. Reasonable priced the highlight is the service aspect the staff are courteous and ready to help.
The best chocolates in town..... Melts in your mouth n tastes the best.
I love chocolate rocks here. Better try it once n Ull want it more n more
Many branches r Ter of this.
Tried out this exclusive chocolate joint... mind blowing... reasonably priced... Most appreciated is the taste and quality... 70% bitter and orange flavours r my favourites... must try for ppl who r fond of chocolates...
Not home made but heaven made chocolates. Heard about it when someone gifted me a box of these amazing chocolates. Keep going back there now
Love their roasted almond. Theres another with orange in it. Thats good as well. Best part is they let you buy smaller quantities as well.
If you love chocolates but don't want to shell out more money...then here you...Ooty chocolates are not just tasty but quiet affordable...I loved the rum and raisin..and 70% bitter.... They tasted just yummy....much better than the hyped branded chocolates...
Very very good chocolates very reasonably priced. Like the almond rock especially.
good chocolates... still deciding on the favourite, but if you want to try out something in chocolates itself, its a good place... doesn't dissappoint.
75 Rs for 100 gm chocolates is a decent price too
I am a total chocolate lover and any kinda chocolate melts me. This place has a variety of chocolates and it's very pocket friendly
But the name ooty chocolate in my mind I presume it to be stuffed chocolates with pineapple, alcohol, mango, strawberry. Wish they have that option too. Otherwise it's good

I am a huge chocaholic (chocolate afficionade)!!
Ooty chocolates is a tiny shop, in Kormangala, just off the 100 ft road.
I was introduced to this shop by my brother-in-law, whose office is near there.
He got some chocolates from there for me, and I instantly fell in love with them.
I basically fell in "Love at first Bite"!! :D
They have a huge variety of chocolates.
My personal favourites include:
  1. Fruit & Nut
  2. Chocolate rocks
  3. Rum & Raisins
  4. Marble
  5. Apricot
  6. Butterscotch
  7. Plain white
  8. Plain milk
  9. Fudge
  10. Black currant
The biggest plus point is: you can get 100g for 60-120 rs.
Those who love chocolates, you must try this place!!
[P.S.: Hope they open a branch closer to my house, in J P Nagar.]
Was planning to give this place a visit since a long time and finally got a chance to be here last weekend. I was invited over by friends for dinner when I came across this shop on my way and quick as a flash I decided to gift them something from here. Glee, I was so right and my friends were so delighted!
They have a wide variety of chocolates- milk, dark, flavored and what not. Since it was my first visit here they helped me out by letting me taste them too. The owner and the staff was really friendly, they suggested me chocolates according to my likes and I picked up a beautifully decorated gift basket full of assorted chocolates. The price is also affordable - 85/- for 100 gms (8-10 pcs) which is just not bad at all. My friends savored the little gift and I am glad to have finally visited this shop! Will definitely go again :)
They are awesome. I am from Delhi and i crave for them so much. I wish they deliver or atleast courier it to Delhi as well.
The chocolate here is so awesome that I had to write a haiku for it:
Heavenly stuff here,
Thats easy on the wallet,
Mint flavor's divine!
I have been a regular customer with Ooty Chocolates for over 5 yrs now and they have been better than thru best. Always. They have never disappointed me with any of the orders. I gave away these chocolates as my wedding take away gift as well.
Ooty chocolates is a very small shop, just besides the red light after sony world signal, on 100 ft road. I have been their regular customer since last two years, or basically since I have moved to Bangalore from Delhi. It all started with some curiosity that arised when I saw two people eating chocolates outside the shop, with some rather amusing faces, that I can't find words to describe. The first chocolate I tried was butterscotch, my favourite flavour. To my amazement, the chocolates had actual pieces of butterscotch sprinkled in for good measure. That's how my love affair for this place started. Love at first "bite", you might say.
My favourites here are butterscotch and 70% bitter chocolate. The dark chocolate has a very strong flavour and aftertaste and only those who adore dark chocolate should give it a try. The other flavours you should definitely try are rice crispy, choco rock, mint, milk and white chocolates.
The rice for each varies with 70% bitter being the most expensive. But for the wonderful chocolates they give, price is pretty reasonable.
P.S. Every time I am about to go home in Delhi, I get a call from my grandma also, reminding me to bring the butterscotch chocolates. They are that good
A must try and worth the money, considering the quality. Makes for an ideal gift to chocolate lovers.
Most of the chocolates sold here taste good and have that touch of home. Choco Rocks is the best (in my opinion).
I was told all their products are made in Ooty, but I could not find their outlet in Ooty during my recent trip there.
I visit this place whenever I go to my hometown. Its an outlet where they sell Ooty Chocolates.
The store is small. But has lots of positives.
1. The chocolate quality is very good.
2. Full value for money. Pure chocolates 1kg-> Rs 750. Its worth buying.
3. They have lots of varieties. My favorites (Rum and Raisin, Almonds, Cashews)
They also provide mix off all the 8 basic flavors starting from 100gms minimum.
Its a great place to buy chocolates for family and friends on festive occasions. The packaging is good as well.
Must Visit. Highly recommended.
Pocket friendly good chocolates for gifting and self consumption .
I personally rank them more than Smoor
Tried 5 different varieties. Excellent taste (one of the best I've tasted in the name of Ooty chocolates).
Staff is very polite and helpful.
I read some reviews about packaging needing improvement.
Looks like the feedback has been worked upon. They have neat little boxes to pack the chocolates.
They also have tin boxes for sale at a reasonable price.
I bought 3 different types of tin boxes which increased the value of gifting the chocolates.
Overall it was a good experience.
Only thing to improve upon is the variety of chocolates.
Having said that, the shop had all the basic varieties that are a must try!
It's a small place with a good variety of chocolates. Orange rind/peel mould chocolates are a must try but they stopped it now.
The quality and taste is very good roasted almond is my favorite pricing is reasonable sm ppl tell it's costly but for this quality and tasteprice is good only
Fixed prices, good variety of chocolates
Plain - 90 per 100gm
Fruit & nut, butterscotch, Rum & raisin - 110 per 100gm
Roasted almonds & cashews - 130 per 100gm
Can take a customised packaging as well
The chocolate factory was very nice!!
One of the best homemade chocolate in the town
Their flavour is quite unique when compared to others also their taste is amazing
They have some good varieties
Cumming to the price it's quite expensive but they are worth it
You can ask them for tasting n decide which one you want to take it
Great choice of handmade choclates , love their almond rocks with dark chocolate, though there are a lot of variety to choose from
Nice chocolates but not much varieties ...love the gift packaging đ
I have been going to this place since my college days.. There is something special about the chocolates sold here.. Recently I had taken a bulk order from here.. My team totally loved it.. But it's slightly high priced n the owner was not ready to come down on the bulk order.. which was disappointing
A must visit place in Kormangala, Bengaluru. They make homemade chocolates, which are a really good. Pick any chocolate, all are excellent. Savor the depth and warmth of chocolates. OOTY chocolates was a great find in Bengaluru, during our travels. They also sell gift packs, with pre filled chocolates. This would be an ideal gift of sweetness! The place is so unassuming, and hard to spot, unless you are walking, and you donât know much about OOTY chocolates, youâd never stop by to take peek inside. Gift them to your friends and relatives, I am pretty sure they would pester you to send/courier more !This would be an ideal gift of sweetness !
Back here after ages and must say very pleasantly surprised with their wide variety of chocolates.
Regular milk chocolates plain or with nuts
Dark chocolates plain or with nuts
Mint dark chocolate
Sugar-free chocolates.
Pan flavored chocolates
All of them are yum and super fresh abd totally value for money
If it's for a gift they have different kinds of gift boxes as well with a slight charge bit all worth it
If you are in Koramangala do stop by for a chocolaty treat
You will not regret it
The staff are very patient and helpful and the place is very neat and clean
I have been to this shop couple of times. I feel it's good and the quality is good at reasonable price. A good shop for chocolate lovers.
Good place to buy đŤ Chocolates
I loved rum and raisin chocolates here..quick and polite service. Wish they could have done the packaging better.
Delicious tastes of chocolates. Even tried tasting before we bought as the sales person is quite helpful
Located near to Bhima jewelry in Koramangala. They have wide variety of chocolates.
Quality & taste are good - I tried White, Milk and Pan flavored chocolates. They even take bulk order.
