Place is closed and under new management , Zomato is not allowing me to flag this listing. Went there and returned disappointed ! So hope this review helps anyone trying to plan a visit.
Nice place on the mysore road for a break on your trip. Small but beautifully furnished.
They serve awesome tea and many other snacks at a very lesser price.
Got a chance to dine here while travelling on Mysore road and it was a very good experience for me. Its a small place but I just simply loved what they have done with the space available and even the service and hospitality of the management was really nice.
Now coming to the food part, they only serve vegetarian cuisine so I tried out their Veg Turki meal and it was pretty good. It had Jeera rice along with rotis and also panner butter masala and Dal fry for curry. It even had curd with boondi and it was also good. They also served Lime juice along with it. Then I also tried out there Masala fries and that was okay too.
Overall its a nice place to dine in Kengeri and I recommend this place to all.
Innovative recipes and very tasty food! A great place to stop on your way back from Mysore.. Must visit for some yummy food and chai! All of it at reasonable prices.
great food
great experience...

great food ....testier more than expectations ...and loved it so much .....thank u chai charcha and change for the awesome food ....đđ
A nice place to hangout on Highway. Got verities of parathas with in a good price range. Tacos are awesome here. There is a small collection of books available and an option to play music of your own choice.
Found this place while coming back from Wonderla, just while we were looking something to eat on a highway after a tiring day. If you're just passing by, i would say it is tough to locate it. No one can guess, that this place could be so good just looking from the outside. The tea was really good, for the first time in Bangalore i had a good masala chai. Tried the aloo parantha's and it was amazing. The parantha's were heavily stuffed and the taste of the stuffing was really good. The Chutneys and raita served along with it was just cherry on top.
The most remarkable was the time in which the parantha's were served to the table. We had requested to to serve it quickly and it was really served in no time. The staff is extremely polite and friendly.
Overall we got a North Indian Highway experience with good tea and amazing parantha's. The price is extremely low for the portions they are serving
Ohh wow sometimes good food finds it's own way and that too on the highway. Para tha's are served hot and is a blessing for hungry travellers.đCheesy fries are so generous with cheese ,high on calories but light on your pocket.
I had a great time here. The music was amazing. The walls are beautifully painted and it's a nice place to chill and have food. I always order a Cheese Mayo Vada Pav. Some of the other things i liked were the Tacos,Paneer Butter Masala and the cheesy fries. đ„
C3 is treasure trove of yummy food! No matter how your day has been, bite into their cheese paratha and feel the warm, luxuriously thick cheese explode in your mouth and bring a huge, content smile on your face! I am a great fan of fusion food and C3's pizza paratha is one of my favourites!
I am giving the place extra stars because of the fun, quirky decor and great music! Chai charcha & change, I hope you keep innovating new dishes and feeding hungry souls like me!
Amazing stuffed Kulchas and Paneer Butter Masala.I was awed by the Naan Tacos they served ,very cheese and the sauces we're amazing .Very musical and the graffiti on the wall adds to it's feel
Love the food here... Parathas are a go for sure.... Also exquisite snacks like naan taco and cheese mayo vada pav.. Combining indian and western style food..a bit expensive but that can be overlooked for the taste and ambience,a perfect place for college groups...
A place with a lot of youthfulness with amazing food. The parathas are out of the world .It is run by students and has a very vibrant and musical atmosphere. A must visit place for some funky food .
#you must eat here
A pleasant place to take your friends or family. The flavours are awesome. I especially like the parathas and naan tacos. If you're trying parathas, I'd go with the cheesy parathas. Yummy and filling. The price is reasonable and the food is delicious. Loved it!
Nice place, the food was also tasty. Orderd tandoori paratha which was great. Milk shake were not very good but you can try. Just went on a ride with a friend from bangalore but the ride was worth.
I have tried their meal combo aloo paratha taccos etc. Definitely a value for money and taste. I would recommend their authentic north indian taste. Wish they have chats n pani puri also
satisfied with the service of chai charcha, really good taste and quality too, they were on time too, thanks a lot.!!
It was such experience for me in chai charcha and change having lunch. Half of the items used to be unavailable. And the costing is not for a normal college student.
We happened to visit Chai Charcha on our way back from Shivasamudram and were quite amazed with the variety of parathas on menu. They certainly are pretty innovative with the stuffings and serve one of the most delicious parathas I have had in Bangalore, their tandoor parathas are a must try. They also have a separate counter at the entrance which serves variety of snacks including the lip-smacking litti chokha in the evening. A quaint little place with character, this certainly is a must try for any North Indian food lover!!
Kudos!!
We were driving back from a Shivasamudram and were quite famished. A cosy eatery on Mysore road with the most delicious, mouth watering tandoor parathas and more !!! A must visit food joint !!
This is a must visit place for parantha lover especially tandoori parantha and I'll recommend everyone to try the masala kulcha. We tried the following additional tandoori paratha and loved all of them:
Aaloo pyaz and paneer, paneer and corn and cheese.
The place has recently redone its menu. The portion served are decent for the amount charged and quality is good. We'll definitely stop at this place either going to or coming from mysore.
Awesome food joint, well rated for combos shakes..cool joint with young crowd as its located near college.

If you are going out with friends towards Mysore , must try this place. Beautiful ambience and friendly staff. Parathas are tasty. Gravies also are tasty. Must try.
Happened to visit this place by chance. Diagonally opposite Christ College engineering on Mysore road, Easy to spot. Ambience is not much to talk about since it's more of a takeway restaurant. I had a sancwhich and Nutella sancwhich which tasted nice which could have been better. To top it all its a pure Veg outlet and highly affordable.
All in all a good experience. Keep it up gays.
Heard a lot. Came once during lunch and again later around 4.30 PM. Simple fare. Amazing taste and amazing price. Do not expect great ambience as it is not meant for that. It's for Christ college students to hang out and have nice, simple & cost effective food. Dahi sandwich caught our attention. Simple yet superb! Parathas are great. Not to be missed if you are on your way from Mysuru to Bengaluru (Look out for TMIEC factory and move to the left lane and prepare to slow down. Right after the crossing.)
Well maintained place...liked the service..varieties of parathas available....yummy home food lik felling!!!!Never judge wat u see frm outside....amazing place to hav food in a affordable way!!
Love the Gobi Paratha here.Have tried Pizza Paratha which was suprisingly awesome. They have a variety of Parathas in their menu which is served with Raita and tossed Onions in Dhaniya Chutney .As they mainly cater to students so they have a dynamic Menu, that is their Menu changes everyday which is something different from the regular repetitive menu.
Do come to this place for its Mind blowing Parathas. Its a student joint done by students run by students. This is the first time I had something called a Dahi Sandwich and it was Bang on.Will definitely visit this place whenever I pass through Mysore Road.
Awesome place, surprises me every time I go with something new or the other. The newly introduced custard cassatta, vada pav, and parathas are something to really die for!
There is fresh and young feel to the place - Christ college students from across the road are a constant feature. Must go every time I across Mysore road!
Reasonable rates and savior for college students who reside around this outskirt part of Bangalore. Paratha's are very good (Feels like home), must try but try to avoid panner vegetables, its has some weird odor.
Why Chai Charcha & Change( C3) ?
- A good, all veg restaurant
- Infinite veg options in every course of your meal
Ambience: It's an elementary restaurant. Just the basics in place. Pulls in a huge christ college crowd. it can get very very noisy and chaotic sometimes but its cool atmosphere to be there.
Food: The food is really good. And there's a lot to choose from, may it be the main course or breads or simple appetisers. Anything you order will not disappoint you. Also trying the not so regular options like khadi chawal also turned out to be delicious.
Service:
good service! Extremely polite. the person who runs the restaurant is alumni of christ college and hence the whole food, service, ambience, music is very student and young generation focussed
Pricing: excellent, pocket friendly
Visit this place on your way to mysore road it is bag opposite to christ college on mysore road and trust me you will not be disappointed by the taste anytime of the day.. best north indian food i have had at such a unexpected place
the breads, tandoor paratha, pocket friendly meals, panner tikka, khichdi, samosa, superb taste name it i am short of space to write more dishes

A very homely taste experience and a visit that is worth it.Indulge in the variety of North Indian very relatable to Ghar ka khana,Im sure you will want to visit more.
Oh,and the lassi and masala chaas is just Sone pe Suhaga! :D
It's a small place opposite Christ college on Mysore road. This place is run by a bunch of people from Jharkhand. We were on the way to Mysore when we came across this place and decided to stop by for dinner. We ordered paneer bhurji, matar paneer and phulkas and lassi. The subjis were good to taste, phulkas jumbo in size and lassi palatable.
We had a filling meal that satiated our taste buds.
Budget for two - 400 Rs
This place is a quaint little retreat for yummy food. I've been to this place thrice and they have delivered good food on all occasions. Try the butter naan with the paneer butter masala or the specials- tandoori roti with paneer burji. The chaas / buttermilk that they offer is really yummy. There are other options like masala cola to wash down all this good food.
It's a small place so you'd wonder about the ambience but they've tried to spruce it up with graffiti. All in all, its a nice place to either go have a quick bite or a leisurely grand lunch.
Good experience at Chai, Charcha and change.
This is a small joint on the highway. The food here is good . Tasty, like north Indian.
Service is good as well. Owner takes good care of it.
Awesome is the word....well thought menu options and the food, it is just amazing.... It neatly understands the north Indian taste.... And yes they have a Jain food option too... Don't forget the Chai along with the aloo bonda and kachori sabzi in case you land up for snacks...the owner and the staff is also very hospitable....

Chai Charcha & Change is an outlet on Mysore Road, Bangalore / Bengaluru right opposite to Christ University and is making waves with it comes to taste. This small outlet focuses on different Indian Cuisines and integrate the best items into its menu coming very close to excellent Dhaba food. The outlet also serves barbeque vegetables and chaats in the evening. Most popular among the students from the nearby areas and travelers. The ambiance is of a typical roadside dhaba with plastic tables and chairs.

We tried an array of food here and we were totally excited with what is being offered at a very nominal cost.
Tandoori Paneer Paratha â Paneer Paratha made in Tandoor, with zero oil. The Paratha is served with Raita, pickles and tasted simply fantastic. The Tandoor made the paratha very soft.
Cheese and Gobi Paratha â Another absolutely must paratha, if youâre not so particular about your calories. The cheesy goodness with Gobi was out of the world. The paratha is a bit heavy on the stomach but would leave you mesmerized.
Onion Curd Masala â This is a must have especially with the Parathas. This is a household Rajasthani dish and will make your taste buds explode with flavors.
Kadhai Panner with Tandoori Roti and Naan â Soft cubes of Paneer with tomato based gravy. The gravy was made with onions and capsicum chunks. The taste again was exceptional. The breads were super soft and would just melt in your mouth.
Panner Tikka - Mouth watering spicy Paneer Tikka served with chat masala on top and raw onions. Excellent preparation with a lot of garlic flavor.
Veg Fried Rice â Mixed vegetables fried rice which included capsicum, corn, onion and other veggies. The taste was great.
Tandoori Chocolate Naan with Sweet Curd â An innovative dessert made out of chocolate sauce and paneer mashed together and filled in a bread. The bread is baked in the Tandoor. The sweet bread was served with sweet curd. OMG! Superb!
Chai Charcha & Change turned out to be an exception place with phenomenal tasty dishes and a great value for money on their offerings.
The Verdict:-
Food/Taste â 9/10
Service â 8/10
Value for Money â 9/10
Ambiance â 7/10
Quantity/Quality â 8/10
If youâre on the Mysore Highway this outlet should be on your must visit list!
situated right opposite to my college, this restaurant serves delicious north indian food. Some of the dishes that i have tasted are masala kulcha, samosas and kachori sabji. Only thing which i didnt like was that the place is a bit small.
Best Vadapav in Bangalore. and the price of the food is really wotrth to pay for. The rock music which is played here is awesome.Â
I would recommend to taste Vadapav n Samosa
Great food at even greater prices... love the parathas here... simply mouth watering.. one of the best food joint in and around kengeri and the place is well maintained and very hygiene. The management and staffs are really hospitable and friendly. A must try destination for food lovers.

One thing about Chai Charcha & Change that nobody can deny about is the quality of the food being served. Stated outside Christ University, this place is often filled with Christites enjoynig delicious dishes. As a North Indian Restaurant, it has been a boon to all the North Indian Students who really want to have the "dhaba experience" once again.
Tasty aloo pratha, khicdi, good for vegeterian ,good ambience ,good service, great place to be hangout, celebrations and many more ocassions good background music
This place is famous for their North Indian dishes. It's near to our college, so my friends and I visit it often. The quality of the food as well as the taste is amazing. Today we tried Brownie with ice-cream and it's just for 80 bucks. This place is a must try for all the North Indians who stay in Mysore Road.
The food is very nice. ..its just opposite to my college. I tried samosa's and chaat's it's delicious. Just that the behavior of staff is bad. Need to teach them some hospitality
I was on my way to mysore when I found this restaurant on the highway. its a small place but the food is great.especially the north indian food
paneer butter masala and dal tadka was great to taste
its the best place to have north indian food if you are on bangalore mysore highway. Litti chokha, kachori sabji, tandoori roti and paneer butter masala are some of the delicacies i had tasted. Its a value for money. Just that the staff is a bit rude and need to be taught the meaning of hospitality
It's a small eatery on Mysore road.
Food is delicious, ambience is fine.
Butter naan was good. And service is on time. It was the worth the visit.
It's a good option for christites at kanmanike. A wide variety of dishes are available throughout the day and we do get customized dishes as well.
Best restaurant on mysore-bangalore highway.. Super parathas and North Indian delicacies... Only good option on this particular route !service is decent .
You are a pakka north Indian, you will defiantly love these place. Best place in this part of city to get Parathas. My personal favorites are Sattu paratha and Stuff naan. Their recipes of delicious Panner jalphreze curry with butter naans tastes heavenly. Decent place to hangout with friends for a quick, healthy and tasty bites.
Has the quintessential ambiance and mouth watering menu of filling proportions, for amazing conversations over piping hot food! The perfect solution for an amazing dining experience within pressing times of the corporate or academic world!
Awesome food, only  north Indian dishes which are well prepared and well served to customers.Tasty parathas and khichdi is something that one might not get in any other restaurants in mysore road .
Had Food at Chai Charcha And Change while going to Mysore. It's a small place but quality of food is good but little costly. I had Paneer Tikka Masala and Butter Naan which i found to be good though service was slow.

Great place to be.....very accessible...wonderful taste....the best part is that the restaurent is very clean...the best place around for typical north indian food...worth the money spent.....the nimbu paani over here is simply awesome....nice service...the taste of the food makes you come back again n again for more..
Excellent items.... Many varieties of parathas and naans. My favourite here is kichdi and Nimbu paani. It's good place to chill with friends.
The overall ambience is good.Food is the best among north Indian dishes!!Eventhough its kinda expensive, the food is really worth it.. Seating facility is less.
I came to meet my friend and had lunch at this place which looks like dhaba, the garam aloo parathas and masala kichidi served was awesome  with north indian style thadka was liked by me.The ambiance and the people out there smiling while serving was cherry on the cake and vibrant
The delicacies are prepared by skilled professional cooks and the best part is that, they continually improve the food quality according to the needs and wants of the customers.
Very nice and tasty food in a reasonable price. Best option for  pure vegetarians in that area. The service and food quality both is decent.Good for BRUNCH !
the food they serve here is of nice quality and taste, maybe the best in this village of Kaniminike. as good as the food is, the cost is also high, at least for a regular engineering student like myself, to eat there daily. but its amazing to eat here twice or thrice a week, a break from the regular mess and canteen food. they even have 3 hours in the evening when they serve only snacks and no meals, giving a break to their staff. the ambiance is also pretty good, but cant seat more than 6-7 groups of people at a time.
Good sandwiches and parathas, do not order the ice Cream, it's useless. But there are very few places in that area that is why they work well. Good staff, they never create a fuss about practically anything.
Good small place for quick bites. Not much on menu, limited choices of food to select that makes food quality and service most efficient.
Parathas, chai, are normally selected most. Attract trendy crowd. Also offers games to play over the table such as chess, ludo, Uno and more
Also you can play your choice of music.
Coming to not much costly.. cost efficient neat clean and staff are well qualified for Thier work.
Stumbled upon this place on my way from Coorg to Bangalore.. wonderful food with a variety of options.. they even have a lot of Mumbai street food options that I didnât find in the city of Bangalore. Would definitely recommend stopping by if u pass from this route..
This place is keep improving like & for every new batch of Christ University students....Many students have their memories with this place...Chai Charcha Change is always innovative with their menu range & combo range.
Best place to have north indian dishes.....
Nice and yummy foodđ.
Specially a snack called jhal-mudhi was mouth watering.
Overall a good food experience for foodies.
And its a startup by a student only so Thumbs upđ
This is surely a good option in this area. North Indian dishes are great here. You can also enjoy fresh juice, options like platters and many more.
Authentic Punjabi food. Yummy parathas in many different varieties. Caters mostly to the Christ College crowd and if it is a busy time, you will have to wait a bit to get seats.
Well, its really not a bad experience. We were hungry. We got very warm greetings and hot & fresh Pranthas. We were really missing out on those Punjabi Pranthas and we found it here. Loved it.
A blessing in disguise. It's a fun, innovative place for the students in kengeri. Lots of good options, good music and the lovely ambience.
Its a very good restaurant you get varities of north indian food there. And its clean. Good service also.
Very good food, if you don't mind the average ambience, you will love the food
