Totally loved the place!
As elegant as a 5 star hotel's restaurant, Urban Tamasha is all set to light your taste buds on fire!
The aesthetic appeal out here was my favourite part - Be it the flatware, cutlery, tableware, interiors, seating, lighting, presentation of food, everything was so on point!
Welcome drinks - The green apple mojito was THE BEST I've ever had in ages, the orange and watermelon mojitos were okayish. My favourite was the Litchi blast which is technically a litchi drink with a kick of chilli that gives you warmth leaving you wanting for more!
Coming to the food, starters (NON VEG)-Beer batter fried fish was a little bland, dynamite chicken was totally mind boggling as was the banjhara chicken kebabs and the Patiala chicken.
Coming to vegetarian options, dahi tikkas were ABSOLUTELY mind blowing, sunhairi paneer was also good but could be a little more soft!
Main course - The shredded lamb in black pepper sauce was my favourite, all kulchas were great.
Coming to my favourite part, the desserts - in the sizzling brownie with ice cream, the brownie got burnt to the core thus making it bitter. This disastrous incident was however made up by some delicious toffee walnut with vanilla ice cream that comes in a tempered chocolate bowl. No complaints for the fried ice cream or the caramel custard either.
Overall experience -
Food - 4.5/5
Ambience - 5/5
Staff behaviour - 4.5/5
Awesome food, awesome service. Too polite waiters and manager. Must try chicken Guloti kabab ,dynamite chicken and sizzler brownie.
just wow factors. .every food was so tasty or delicious
One of the good restaurants in Indiranagar. A must try one. It has an exhaustive menu.
We had tried several things such as masala papads, chelo kebab, butter chicken and naan.
All the items were delicious and mouth melting. Chelo kebab was a showstopper as we had never tried before.
A must try item. Would recommend this place. Service was speedy coupled with charismatic staff.
Specially thanks For Mr Ashiq who Attend us Great service and friendly guy
Catchy ambience!!! Well we went to this place after a comedy show and we had a lot of discussion before we landed on to this restaurant. It has a classy decor and comfortable sitting. We wanted to try North Indian and I wanted to have ceasar salad especially. It was a delicious meal which we got served that night. Staff was really good and service was on time. Place is a nice option to have a dine with family and friends. You might not always wanna go to a place with loud and noisy ambience.
Went here for a Sat lunch and it wasnt crowded . The ambience of this place is quite good . Ordered chicken ala-carte food and the taste was good . Service was prompt, thanks to Ashiq for attending us so well .
Had a great time at urban tamasha with my friends. Robin was waiting on us and he is great at suggesting you drinks and appetisers:)

Nice service. Thanks Robin😍
Excellent take on Indian and Asian food. Must visit.
Urban Tamasha ,one of the elegant buffet place in Indranagar.
They have both veg n non veg spread.
Ambience : Compact and beautifully arranged place.
Food : variety was less but the food taste was really good. They also have few mocktails.
Non-vegetarains wil love their limited but yummyyy starters.
Vegetarian ,I personally loved their cripy corn and also paneer that just melts in your mouth .
Service : They were kinda slow with la carte orders intially but Robin helped us with that and we got our food on time.
I would like to thank & appreciate ROBIN for the quality of service he offered us,staff like him would make us want to visit this place again. Cheers Robin 🎉
The taste was really good. We tried dragon rolls, best combination of spinach with cheese n black pepper. We also tried veg manchurian & sanghai noodles. A/c to price the quantity was really good. I loved the place & ambiance.

Urban Tamaasha is a great place,if you are looking for some good Indian food. The chicken Tikka was awesome, with the kebabs nicely marinaded and melted in your mouth. Motia pulao was another dish which we loved. Main course chicken was great as well. Overall, food was delicious. What could be improved is their service. Service was very slow and u professional and could be much better for a place like that.
Really liked the food and ambience. Tried Chinese and continental. Robin was very courteous as part of serving staff.
Robin was courteous, good service. Good ambience. Will visit again. Overall nice experience. chinese was good
Thanks for Robin for hosting us. his service was great. a must go place in indira nagar
The buffet options are good. It's worth the money. Ambience also is great.
Mr. Robin was extremely humble with his service
I loved the service of the restaurant. As the service recovery the restaurant's captain himself delivered the item to the door steps.
Robin was really good in helping us with the menu/order and took care of the table with great hospitality.
Had ordered paneer kadai, doible dal fry and roti. Food was yumm, and ambience is calm and light. Thanks to Robin for wonderful service.
It was awesome dinner . I had enjoyed authentic north Indian dinner after a long time in indiranagar . I am extremely impressed by the service from ROBIN and deepesh.
These dragon rolls, an Asian appetizer at Urban Tamasha. As the name suggests, it was damn fiery dish. It is a new way of serving the spring rolls. They are basic spring rolls served in shots with spicy syrup coating. I am quoting this, "it is a must try" at this newly opened place in Indiranagar. .
.
Nice place and nice ambiance in indranagar. And good food .spasly mr sourav are very friendly. He given very good services. We love this place.
Do ask for robin once you are there for an amazing experience
The staff was very good. Specially robin.
We tried some Urban Tamasha signature dishes but those were lesa tasty than normal ones. Go for ordinary dishes. Staff is very polite here. Mr Robin helped us a lot in our course and was so polite in actions and speech.
The food here is very good. We were late for lunch but the staff managed to prepare the lunch for us and served very patiently and politely. Robin and Devesh were very friendly and took good care of us. Overall a very good experience after a tiring day😊
It's a good ambience here food was really tasty
One of the good fine dining places in Indiranagar. This place has got a very colorful and pleasant ambience. The spread of the menu is good. What I love there is their amazing "Chelo Kebabs". They are yummy. Even appreciate the Tandoori prawns and Dynamite Chicken. Staff is courteous. Overall a great visit.
The food was amazing with a very good ambience. We received extremely good service offered by Robin.

The restaurant has very peaceful atmosphere because it was not very crowded and noisy. The dishes had variety besides quality aswellas good quantity. I hosted party to my family. All were satisfied with service, manners and place. Chairs and tables were also quite wide. Overall, we enjoyed service, atmosphere and dishes, the way they served, the decoration, quality of seating, peace and everything. We had a child with us. Great place to enjoy in peace. Very much recommended.
Food was very tasty and delicious even though you don't see vast variety of options but the price that you pay and food you eat will make you very satisfied. We went for team lunch for buffet and everyone one of us enjoyed it both Veg and Non-Veg are really good. Even the ambience was beautiful and you have vallet parking facility too.
On a weekend when most places had a minimum of half an hour waiting, we were able to find a place for 2 here. On reaching there however, I saw that the place was full. And after having the food, I understand why. Every single item I had was extremely delicious, felt like it was melting in my mouth! While not truly a modern indian cuisine, they do have an interesting choice of food items on their menu. The Ambience is also great. Only one thing that could have been better was the service, which was a little slow. But the restaurant dtaff provided great food recommendations according to our taste!
Foods are very good. Different varieties of food available. Food service speed can be improved. For Dinner with famaly, this is a good place. Parking is also there. Outside welcome banner should be more visible so that people can easily find the restaurant.
One of the most affordable buffet destination. A great value for money. Lunch buffet@499+ gst. All solid items be it starter or main course. Desert needs a bit improvement since there are very few items.
However looking at the price u are paying, the items purely justifies the money.
Space is a bit congested aince it can accomodate very less people. Advance booking is highly recommended for anyone be it groups or couples/friends. Ambience is really good since walls & roofs are nicely decorated.
A wonderful place for the foodies.. Situated at a prime location with valet parking. The restaurant is situated at first floor of the building. The ambience is great and people will go again to the same restaurant for its ambience. A place where it's so rush unless you book your seats.
Coming to Food, they serve varieties of cuisines. Also they offers some nice drinks too. The food they served were delicious. Their one portion can be shared by two people. So before ordering please do remember this else you will end up in wastage of the food.
The service rendered was great by all of them and the serving was pretty fast too.
Nice place to sit and dine
Been seeing this place while travelling so I decided to try it. Booked a reservation(accepted pretty quickly), and headed for the food. When I got here, I was taken back by the ambience. The restaurant looks very beautiful, with the staff being super polite and cooperative. I opted for the buffet and it was worth it. It was a 'paisa wasool' experience! From the soup to the deserts, everything was so perfectly prepared and served! I had nothing to complain about. The food was an absolute delight! By the end of the meal I just wished to come back to this place.
Delicious food. Everything from north indian to Chinese and Italian was great and it's definitely a place to go if you are in the mood for some good food. The ambience is nice as well. Service was good. I had a great time there.
Overall 5 stars to the place. Not cheap, a bit on the expensive side but worth the money. Overall great experience.
Weekend hunger pangs and new restaurant hunting got us down here at Indiranagar.Located just before Tipsy Bull, this place serves some good decent food.
The ambience is co colourful and lifts your mood the moment you enter in here. The place can accommodate around 70-75 pax at a time.
The service is good and the servers go the extra mile in delivering good service so that the patrons can actually enjoy a good meal.
The Mock-tail tried was Nutty Delight. The drink was loaded with banana juice along with nuts crushed into it.Served cold-good to relish.
The Soup tried were-
1.Brocolli & Cheddhar Soup-served inside a BUN...a joy to eat.Must try
2.Lemon Chicken Coriander Soup-Average
The Salads tried were
1.Asian Green Salad-good
2.Greek Salad-ok
The Starters tried were
1.Dahi kebab-Done well to perfection.
2.Dynamite Chicken-good.Cooked well and a joy to eat
3.Mutton Botti Kebab-A perfect dish combined with the right spices and served right.
4.Dragon Roll-STAR DISH.Wonderful presentation.MUST TRY...TOO GOOD.
The Main course tried were
1.Penne Alfredo Chicken -Good
2.Thai Red Curry Chicken with Rice-loved the combination. A joy to eat with the rich coconut milk hitting your palate right.
3.Chilli Garlic Noodles Chicken -good in its own league.
4.Mutton Rogan Josh-it was good but could have been far better. The Mutton was not tender and the lacked the proper spices.
5.Butter Kulcha -Excellent
6.Veg Pizza-BEST AVOID...A DISASTER
The Desserts tried were
1.Sizzling Brownie-good. Wonderful presentation with the sizzling smoke and the Ice cream on top of the brownie.
2.Caramel Custard-good but have tasted better.Presentation good again.
A meal for 2 would cost around Rs 1000/-.Both Cards and Cash accepted.
A large LED TV is ON with some sports on it for the Sports Freaks.
Kid friendly.
Restrooms are cleanly maintained.
Reservations recommended. The place gets easily crowded on Weekends.
As of myself,am happy with the food and service.
A gentle urban touch on Traditional Indian cuisines! The decor and ambience are amazing and engaging. You will love the comforting colors and roof specially! Coming to food, it was more on the okay side, the presentation was elegant but the taste was okay! We tried 4 starters, 3 main course and 2 desserts dishes but no dish gave me that level of joy and that wow factor was missing somewhere! But definitely given the price, location and ambience! I would still recommend this place!
The restaurant is located on indiranagar 100ft road and is easy to find. I went there during the dineout GIRF fest. The food prices are a bit on the higher side given the quantity. We ordered manchow soup which was good but not something extraordinary. We also had chicken malai tikka, while the chicken was good there was a lot of cardamom added to it so that ruined the taste. We asked the staff for some recommendations in main course and they recommended the chelo kebab which has the same malai tikka, chicken seekh and a half fried egg on top of rice. While the concept was noce the whole thing tasted pretty dry due to the lack of any gravy. And we had hoped for something different but got the same tikka again so it was not that great. Hoping to visit there soon to try something else.
Nice Place for budget buffet.. Quality is good but menu is very less. For veg it's go to place but non veg people will get dissapoint with less variety but still taste is good.

Indian restaurant!!
Located on the ever bustling streets of 100ft road this place is not tough to miss
The ambience is very colourful quirky and classy!!
The place can easily accommodate around 50_60 people.
Place can get crowded easily so its recommended to book a table here .
They serve a variety of Indian and Chinese cuisine
This is what i tried out here
1) veg matata bullets: mashed potatoes tossed in spicy garlic sauce. Must try out here!!!
2) crispy veg dragon rolls: crispy fried rolls stuffed with spinach and cheese served with sweet chilly dip in a shots glass!! Lovely presentation and awesome taste.
3) dynamite chicken: fiery and spicy!!
4) kali mirch fish tikka: fresh basa cubes marinated with it black pepper and served well.
5) daal bukhara and veg diwani handi: clubbed best with their in house made naan . The daal is slow cooked for 24hours with all the spices and cream.
6) calcutta style Chicken biryani: was yummy as well.
I wasnt very found of their mocktails and i feel there can be a scope of improvement in the same.
Overall the service was nice and i will surely visit again soon!!!
Ambience, attractive interior and a variety of dishes
Friendly staff and service
Took a lot of time to get just 2 mocktails with only 2-3 customers in the restaurant at that time.
Liked this place and ambience, so might give it a try again sometime later
The place is actually very good and have a nice ambience. The most amazing thing is that being a cafe they are open till 1 AM. The food was good specially the desserts. Service was also good, one group of friends came at 11:45 and they had to eat within 12 as Navratri was starting from next day, still they got everything whatever they wanted before time. So the service is awesome. And main part is the ambience. Must visit place you can say.
The name speaks for itself, urban setup, multiple cuisines available and being in Indiranagar serves a lot of Tamaasha on its plate...
Urban Tamaasha is a fairly new restaurant and the first one in Bengaluru. Its pretty much a fine dining restaurant with nice interiors and decor. Located on 100ft.Road Indiranagar, just above Mochi showroom; which gives it a perfect abode for serving food.
The menu is a mix of multiple cuisines and the items are a mix of fine dining and normal dine in foods.
We tried a pretty long list of items to sum up our saturday lunch and it goes like this...
Mocktails:-
Mango Chill - Mango syrup used wasn't really upto the mark, mixed with a lot of basil, the flavour of which overpowered the mango.
Lychee Blast - Lychee is a sweet fruit, lychee syrup is even sweeter and that's where you need to nail it, the drink had extra added sugar which wasn't required, reduce that amount of sugar and the drink would become a delight.
Appetizers:-
Asian Green Salad - One of the best salads I've ever tasted, being a non-vegetaraian, my flair for salads is too low but next time I see this salad in the menu, I'm up for it. The papaya in it makes it so tempting that you can yourself eat one single portion of it.
Greek Salad - A combination which doesn't really stand out all the time, it is healthy for sure as it has feta cheese and lots of greens in it but without any thick dressing its a bit bland.
Starters:-
Dahi Kebab - One of most innovative dishes I have ever tried, making kebabs out of curd is tough as curd doesn't hold on to a form of its own and then elevating it to a tasty level is really tough, but they have acheived it flawlessly. A must try for everyone.
Dragon Rolls - People who love to take shots at pubs and discotheques, this is something worth trying, cheesy dragon roll bites served in bite sized rolls and the dip served as a shot on your table is a delight for your eyes and your tastebuds, the more you eat, the more you ask for it..
Dynamite Chicken - A delicacy made of deep fried chicken with lots of different chillies cut into small pieces, comes with a very tacky dynamite candle that they light up at your table. Taste wise, its spicy, flavourful, tender chicken but can be a bit more spicy to get that dynamite feel in your mouth.
Mutton Boti Kebab - Tender, juicy and oozing out goodness is all I can say about it.
The starters were really good and are all must try dishes.
Soups:-
Broccoli and Cheddar soup in a bun - Very unique way of serving cheesy, creamy soup in a hollowed out bun which you can eat out later. If you're going for soups, you should definitely try it.
Main Course:-
Thai Red Curry Chicken with rice - Simple thai red curry, needed a bit more of seasoning and spices but flavourful.
Mutton Rogan Josh - Less oily, cook on the meat can slightly improve but the taste is definitely present in the rogan josh, would love to have it again.
Penne Alfredo Chicken - Very generous quantity served, the penne was cooked Al Dante, the sauce was perfectly cheesy and had proper amount of seasonings.
Butter Kulcha
Chicken chilli garlic noodles - Loved the noodles, spicy, lots of garlic and schezwan goodness, if you're trying chinese.. this a dish that you can try.
Desserts:-
Sizzling Brownie - Not one of the best that I've had, the brownie was tasty, but the hot plate was too hot and it burnt the brownie... just control the heat and you're good to go.. also the amount of ice-cream can be increased.
Caramel Custard - Soft, bubbly and feel good texture of the custard served to look beautiful on the plate.
The latest hot-spot on the upscale Indiranagar 100 get road leaves no stone unturned to take you by surprise with its plush and colourful interiors and warm ambience of its friendly staff. We started with a few mock tails to add to the glory of our very charming and creamy Cream of Brocoli soup which is served in a hardened bread shell, a very creative endeavour I must say. The ripened Papaya Prawns and the Dahi kebab were delicioua appetisers to start with. This followes by the Mutton Boti Kebab and the Galouti Kebab made our evening festive and we were uplifted with food frenzy. The beer battered fish was a bit of a let down however the Mains like Chicken Chaamp and Kolkata Dum Biryani made up for it pretty well. The Chelo Kebab was sumptuous and the succulent mutton sheekh is a joy FOREVER. Speaking about real joy, it was however their Urban Special Sundae with chocos made me happy like a fat kid at a candy store. A very delectable experience and great service and a very uplifting ambience makes Urban Tamasha a grand success.
