Great food. Loved the chicken 65.
Had some spicy fish masala (not coconut base), it was great.
Decent food. Good pricing. For the ambience
The restaurant is good to get authentic Kerala dishes. Most of the cuisines are available at Kaayal like the basic Kerala Porotta, Kerala Meals, Ghee rice and Biryani as well. We ordered Beef Roast, Porotta and Ghee rice, but the only thing we didn't like is that the beef roast served was cold and was not exactly the beef roast which seemed more of a beef curry. Also the Ghee rice to was cold but the Porotta was very fresh hot and fluffy which was very nice of all the item's we ordered. The overall pricing was fair for all the other restaurants we have the near by locality. For all of these we had to pay 650 for 4 people which was pretty decent for the quality and quantity they served.
The beef roast quantity was very less even though we ordered 2 of them. So while ordering should be careful with that.
Also they don't have enough parking space so should be careful while visiting the place. The ambience is very neat and cool they keep place always clean and they play good Malayalam musics which gives a good touch.

One of best and easy bfast place in n around Indiranagar and Jeevan bhima nagar. Not plenty to choose, but taste and quality is assured. Items to choose from: Puttu with kadalai, Appam with kurma / Egg, chicken curry, Idli with Sambar, and Dosa
We picked up Puttu and Idi. Go for it.
Great place to have kerala food in very nice ambiance.
Almost all kerala dishes are available here.
This place serves authentic Kerala cuisine.

Can see a wide varieties of Kerala Cousines.
Meals also need to be Mentioned Superb.
Had tried lots of Kerala Hotels in Bangalore but, Bangalore Fast food life il oru Aashvaasam aanu Kaayal.
It's sometimes impossible to maintain quality, but in case of Kayal they have been able to achieve it. Last 12 years they have maintained the food simple , tasty and the quality of traditional Kerala food to their best. One should not miss the traditional Kerala vegetarian meals. The fish is another delicacy that you must try. It's really great to have taste remain same for so long.
Kerala restaurant; Good Experience, people friendly services..
We tried chicken biryani, Veg meals with beef fry and Kappa Biryani, all tasty and delicious.
Biriyani is Kerala style...
Great kerala style food. Delicious. Try the kerala fish meals. I had cone here to have Obama. Sadya. It was delicious. Very reasonably priced at 400 rs when other hotels were charging at triple the rate yet they couldn't natch the taste.
Restaurant in Ist floor..no parking facilities.Meals is over when my visit hour's.. tried kappa and beef fry.. Traditional kerala style..yumm
Best Kerala meals in the area. ₹80 for a limited meals, and ₹100 for unlimited. I find the limited meals more than enough for my lunch.
I was planning to go here since ages. Today evening, I was their first customer and the place looked so calm and serene. They had put on Cricket match and I picked a spot where I could see hustle bustle of Jeevan Bima Nagar. Ordered deep fried squid, Meen Curry, Appam and Parotta. Everything was so so delicious, but I especially loved Squid. It was not overdone, and was chewy enough. That preparation had base of finely chopped onions, tomatoes and ginger with the hint of Pepper and it was lovely. They serve you warm Jeera water instead of regular water, which doesn't let you overeat and helps with digestion too. Utensils used were squeaky clean and the boys waiting the tables were fresh and pleasant. They did not have that stale look that most of the guys waiting the tables have and I liked this bit. Washbasin area was clean as well, equipped with handwash and tissues.
Loved this whole experience. Will visit again for sure.
Other things that I tried (and were equally delicious) are Mathi Fry and Chemmeen Roast. Chemmeen Roast is Prawns prepared in thick solid gravy of Onions and Tomatoes. It's little bit on the saltier side, so you might want to go easy on that bit.
Ultimate! Most authentic and homely food. A lot of variety. Everything served hot. Owner himself takes the orders, suggests dishes to try and very humble. Must try! Best 900/- spent ever!
It's a proper Kerala themed restaurant.
Serving people etiquette and the food says it all.
Karimeen is well cooked and fresh.
One of the best sulemani chai I've ever had. This place is situated in the midst of buildings, so pardon the sound. Finding a place to park your vehicle will be an issue.
But food is never going to disappoint you.
Good food, good service
Perfectly suits the aura of a keralean restaurant.
Slight delay in delivery
Overall experience - very goood
