Amazing sooji golgoppa n chats ... Seating can be provided for leisure experience. The sweets are good enough. Would love to visit again for the golgoppa
Have been to mishra peda for chaats n sweets several times.. Yesterday we had bhalla papdi chaat, masala dhokla and badam milk.. The dhokla was a new item.. It looked and tasted good with an outer spiced layer.. For 30rs you get two big chunks.. Service is quick..
A real good place for small eats like snacks and chaats.some specialities are paneer puffs and sandwich dhokla.
So they are a must try,you even get all kind of mixtures ,chips and sweets as well.
One of my favourite place in Jayanagar, it's quite next to Jayanagar BDA complex 🙂 easily we can find out, evening time little crowded.. they have plenty of options like pani Puri, Masala Puri, aloo tikki, Dhokla , sweets , mixture , cookies, chips so on.. service is good and place is well maintained🙂 keep it guys😍
Loved the kachori chaat and plain dhokla was very tasty. Since it was Sunday evening the place was very crowded. But the service was very fast.
I never believed that I can get GOOD dahi puris ever in Bangalore. Most of the places either the chutney is bland and tasteless or there is problems in the preparation itself.
I was never satisfied having them in the last 4 years of my stay here in Bangalore.
This food joint has always been on my watch but never bothered much. Today when our shopping was done suddenly my eyes felt on the menu of this place and I saw dahi Puri. And giving in to my temptation I finally went forward and bought it and what a TASTEBOMB it was. I loved the way the hot taste of the chillies complimented the sweetness of the chutney. The chutney was rich, thick perfect consistency. The puris were crunchy and I can't explain my contentment.
Worth trying from here atleast the dahi Puri for sure :)
Good and clean place must try vada pav, pani-puri, mini jilabi and mishra pedha. This place is heart of Jayanagar and you cant miss. Usually lot of crowds here.
Big Mishra Pedha is located right at the heart of Jayanagar (near to Jaynagar shopping complex, Bus stand).
There is no way you can miss this store. The store is supper crowded in evening!
You are served with array of snacks and sweets (mewa, khowa, Bengali, south specialties...).
Location and Parking
: Amazingly located near Janta bazar and close to Jayanagar shopping district.
Very difficult to get road side parking. Either park above Jayanagar bus stand or use auto.
Staff
: You do not bother as they are busy serving you. You get a smile when you smile.
Food
: We had Pani Puri, Dhokla, Kachori and Vada pav. I was disappointed with Dhokla but rest all was delicious.
What pinched us?
a. Nothing
Great place for buying sweets and typical North Indian snacks, samosa, kachori and what not. Don't miss the Pani Puri served with spicy chilled Pani.
Best place to eat a North Indian thali the food and the staff is too good even the rates are not that much but plz don't forget to eat peda after your dinner
Good sweets and quick bites collection.. chats and sandwiches also good. It's a huge crowd there and not enough place to have a quick bite. Fresh Dharwad halwa is really tasty!
Amazing sweets. The best is their dharwad peda and kunda. Chandrakala , a sweet made from flour, dipped in sugary syrup and fillings of dry fruit is also very tasty.dudh peda also is tasty and melts in the mouth. Also try their chats which are really good - kachori, vada pav, samosa chat. value for money
Kunda first time i tried in Hampi two years back, while passing attracted to pedha name as Dharwad Pedha is one among favorite saw kunda and tried the same taste and same flavour would love to visit again again

Mishra Peda became BIG Mishra Peda and their consistency in the taste and quality of their items continues.
Their Samosas are my favourite. Crisp , fresh and taste great with the sweet and hot chutneys.
The other signature items that are a must try are their dharwad peda and kunda (milk based condiment ). As for their other sweets like the rasmalai , nothing extraordinary to write about.
Sometimes the staff comes across as rude and are busy counting the cash than bothering about customer service :(
The signature dharwad peda and kunda are my favorite here! Apart from the tasty sweets, they also serve snacks. Vada pav and papdi are worth a try!

peda is a must try...
Enjoy your fooood...
Mishra's is famous for their Dharwad Peda. In fact their claim to fame is also plastered in big letters on the shop name.
Anyways, hungry for a snack the kachoris and samosas were very appealing to me. We walked in and ordered a plate of dal kachoris. They were crispy on the outside with a savoury filling inside. After our kachoris we also opted for a milk pedha and chandrakala. The latter was a treat for our taste buds. Crispy, yet doused in syrup the shell was awesome. So was the filling inside.
These guys also have an extended range of chanachurs that I might bring home the next time.
I had bought some pedas for my friends in Pune that they have told me to courier some pedas as it got over soon. I have tried in other normal sweet shops in Bangalore, but I could find the difference in taste and I made a point that whenever I pass by Jayanagar, I must buy some pedas back to home. The pedas are so fresh as well. I haven't tried any other savouries or sweets from here, so cant comment on it. But, dharwad peda is a must buy!
The mishra pedha franchise has quite a legacy, and until a few years ago, they did uphold that legacy rather well. Standards have certainly gone down over time.
A few years ago, their samosas, kachoris and pedhas were bigger and the sauces and chutneys richer. They've decreased in size considerably and the sauces are extremely watered down now. But thankfully, the food still holds a few remnants of that wonderful flavour from decades ago.
I'm a bit concerned that the drop in quality in most of these food outlets of old will slowly but surely push them into obscurity and I really hope that they'll put in more vigorous efforts towards the safeguarding of those lovely foods.
I have been visiting this place from last 1 year and found it to be great. For any occasion, I buy sweets from here, both for my colleagues and family members. I buy Dharwad Pedha & Kunda as a gift to my family & friends. I found this place to be better than any other sweet shop in jayanagar.
Dharwad Kunda is yummly delicious and for sure recommended to try.
My Frequent Order: Samosa, Kachori, Kunda, Pedha, Motichoor Ladoo
Located next to janta bazaar. Pretty big shop.
Their sweets are decent, the only sweet is find better here than other places is the dharwad peda.
They have wide variety of mixtures as well, which are decent.
They have certain small eats to have at the store, which are ok.
I have tried their samosa and doodh pedha and both were awesome. Pedha was so soft that it just melted in mouth. Being a Rajasthani I am a big fan of samosa and I am glad this place did not disappointed. The chutnies they served with samosa were great too!! I try to visit this place whenever I am in Jayanagar.
Oh my god for the taste.... its like OMG and Double OMG..... darwad peda is like no wonder one can eat one full dabba... its like heavenly n the best... reminds my tataiah who used to get ds fr us each time he cums to visit us... it gave my old memories...
Yummy North Indian flavour taste. We are visiting this place more than 3years and the taste remains same, but Pani puri is too spicy and hot😮💨they could make 2flavored Pani one for spicy and one normal. Also could give onion and lemon in sukha puri🙏
I tried Vada Pav, Carrot Halwa, Rasmalai, and the Special Kunda. All the sweets tasted similar to those from other places. However, the pav didn't seem very fresh and fluffy. The Vada tasted good, but they have reheated it. It was worth its price of 20rs. Will visit again to try more chat items.
Had Raj kachori, it was okayish not bad, but nothing like Kolkatas haldiram.
Price point was good.
Raj kachori was little extra sweet coz of chatni.
Dryfruit barfi was delicious, a must have
A very well maintained place to buy sweets and savouries.
They also cater to providing snacks and chaats.
Their modes of operations seems to be very hygienic.
They have wide variety of sweets which cater to all sections of the society and their needs. There are packaged tins available for sending it across the globe as well. They also have started expanding on dairy products and spices as well. There is very limited space in and around the shop and in it so it will be very difficult to handle huge crowd. The staff here are friendly. There is no seating options available inside the shop which might be a concern for the elderly.
Recently they have also installed a screen which displays the entire procedure of making a dish and also highlights their safety protocols. Apart from that the pricing is on a bit higher range but worth for the quality of service they provide.
Apart from famous Dharwad peda which is a must buy here, this place offers whole bunch of other tasty snacks, sweets and chats. Staff's are very friendly and this place is easily reachable since it's located in prime area. Chats are really good, cleanliness is what they can improve on,

Pedha is mouthwatering and Delicious to eat. Hygienic sweets maker. Lots of variants in Sweets from milk made to dry fruit sweets. Their snack items also nice and Tasty. Chat section is awesome and crowd is always seen around the chat Walla for gol gappa and Raj kachori is mouthwatering taste.
Saw the sign of hot ghee jalebi with rabdi and couldn’t stop myself.. and I must say it was worth it the jalebi and Rabdi both were just yum and also tried there masala dhokla and that was just so delicious that the new tray of sold out within 15mins of me being there only drawback is that the staff are really confused and it’s total chaos and they are not able to manage they would need better training to handle the crowd many ppl we’re disappointed cuz of them not reviving there order.. or else a good place food sweets and chats..
Has good sweets and savouries.. especially dharwad peda and kunda is must try.. chats also are really good at reasonable price. I even like tea from here.. it's easy to find in the market area . Service is quick.one can quickly have some snacks in the middle of shopping.
Took Pani puri & dahi Puri and both of them were amazing. The only thing is that they have look into customer service. They took a long time to give the dahi Puri and i had to remind them multiple times. First come first served concept should be applied
Famous for not only Pedha but almost all the Indian snack and chat items.
The taste and hygeine make Big Mishra Pedha different from other chat centres. It's a must visit and try in Jayanagar. The staff is well mannered and cooperative. The evening times are generally rush.
