Simple south Indian breakfast is always so refreshing. Went to Karigiri for a quick breakfast. I had idly, vada , chutney and sambar. Loved the softness of the idly. U think this is one or the best chutneys I've had. Slllllrrrrrrppppp!!!! Must try chutney. Vada was crisp and good. I loved the kharabath, bisibele bath an vangibath here. I've tasted them earlier.
Love the way this place has transformed itself from a small place. Kudos to the dedication of the old lady. She is soo principled and ensures everything is maintained so well.
Must visit!!! Highly recommended for some south indian food.

Love to give 5* for that Old Lady giving tokens after token and people feasting the tasty breakfast. It was during a office workshop I had visited this place and had time for breakfast, decided to drop in to this small place. Initially I assumed that it was a small eatery selling idli and Vada, but once I saw or tasted the food I could tell that they put lots of efforts to serve people in Rajajinagar.. I had Idli Vada, Bisibelebath and Vangibath across two days for breakfast. All these three dishes were worth for what ever I paid for,more than the money taste of these dishes were awesome!! Sambar was thick and not watery, idli was soft and Vada was not oily, Bisibelebath was simply superb with the boondhi and chutney, I feel it was iyengari style.. If you are in this area and it's breakfast time.. Then do visit this place.. Enjoy the homely food and atmosphere as well.
the breakfast here is good, unexpected that I am the first one to review, among those old Bangalore eateries where u get authentic Bangalore food. most of the eateries will be influenced by man galore as they are the ones doing hotel business. but this is one for Brahmin and iyers
Value for money and very tasty and homely food limited variety but yeah quick service. Small place no seating has a sweet shop too surely a must visit if you are around
The Nostalgic place in Rajajinagar, You will get the softest idli which is made of Rice Batter not Rice Rava
Here the idli sambar is very special they add Soppu to Sambar which adds nice taste to idli …
The Neer Chutney is very unique in taste gets soaked to idli well
Next is Vangi Kharabath …Not only like other Darshinis …It’s super pluffy and Yummy
The Breakfast ends By 10.00 am so be early to taste their delicacies
After 10.00 am , They open their sweet shop is same premises.. You will get our very old traditionally made kara items like Mixture, Kara Boondi, Kara Sev etc
Limited items available...Idly n Vada are average but chutney and sambar is delicious...Ricebath n upma is too good...These items are available in the morning.

The taste has gone and now it's serving like any regular hotel. Earlier the sambar had greens mixed into it now it's just lost that taste. Even the rice items are tasting very bland. Its missing the mother's touch.

High quality hygienic food, esp their hot served idli is the best.

Morning breakfast is good and tasty but little bit costly compare to other hotels.. after 11pm they won't serve any dish and all but they'll sell all snacks and sweet items.

Morning Breakfast is Super tasty and Hygienic. Especially their Idli vada with Sambhar dip is always recommended.
Amazing savouries at reasonable price, always crowded. Staffs respond well to customers. Except Monday, on all other days it's open . Also hygienic maintanence with cctv footage of kitchen. U must definitely try Kharabath, Idly-vada with perfect chutney and sambar. Laddoo, nippat , Mysore pak, also taste good.
Special mention : Granny who sits on the cash counter is calm and enthusiastic !
