This place serves unlimited Andra meals which had a wide variety of chutneys and rasams in the package included. They also serve the starters cooked in 2 different styles, Andra style and coastal style. We had pannier ghee roast (Andra style) and a masala papad in starters, both of them tasted extremely good. In main course it was kaju masala gravy that was quite good in taste. And the palak paneer that was very mild in spices and didn't taste as expected. The chapatis and the paratha tasted all as usual.
Note that they have both veg and non-veg options.
Went to Swathi for a team lunch. The food was really good, especially the non veg part. The chicken 65 we had was really nice, so was the biriyani. The service is also great with helpful and polite staff. It's located just near to the main road, a little away from HSR. The ambience is not great, but it's a good family restaurant. Their menu is also really big and impressive.
Nice.. south Indian or north Indian food. Both available here.. really. Tasty food.. and healthy

With due justice to the name, it is traditional Andhra cuisine. Tried chicken biryani for 1 meal & Chicken meals for another. I liked both.
Chicken biryani was aromatic & well cooked.
Chicken meals had sufficient portion of chicken curry & roast. They were well cooked. I enjoyed the gravy more than the roast.
Came back with my belly full!
I am a regular here. Love the lamb boti kebab and sultani kabab. Dal kichidi is ma personal favourite for main course. Biryani is yum. Not a chinese restaurant but lip smaking chicken fried rice and boneless pepper chicken. Very very good staff.
Literally a treat for biryani lovers...Mutton Biriayani s a must try frm this place...Ambience is good. Some may feel it little expensive but it's worth every penny.

Surprised with the low rating of this place. Been there for many times. Really liked the veg South Indian thali served on banana leaves. Non veg items were also good. Decent ambience with huge space which is well maintained. Staffs are very courteous. Service was fast. Will recommend if you want to try authentic andhra style food.
This place has been here for quite some time now and this is one place we go to when we want some decent Indian food and don't want to spend alot.
Mainly an Andhra style restaurant which is good for non veg but considering I'm a vegetarian I've always had only veg and not much complaints!
Soups, masala papad, roti, fried rice and even Biryani all are quite decent and waiters are very attentive and quick.
They serve some really good phulkas too.
Definitely a place you can head to if you're looking for decent food for decent price!
Although it is an Andhra restraunt. ...but it has north indian cuisine too we have ordered north indian food...ir was delicious. ...We ordered Chinese too...It is not bad at all....on 3rd floor the ambience is very nice...Low light...soothing music......do try
Had been to swathi restaurant with one friend one her birthday for dinner.. It is one of the best hyderbadi restaurant in bangalore. The food was really awesome 👍
Nxt to my place and never knew the 2nd floor in swathi has a gud ambiance for friends gathering. I used to take parcel from here. On last friday we landed up here by [good]chance.
Ambiance - calm n nice venue for family/frnds gathering for dinner time.
Food - loved deep fry thai chkn n chrispy peeking chkn. Mutton kebab ws watery spicy.
Drinks - tried cocktails. I loved electric lemonade and shanghai sunset.
Since its nxt to my place , cn try out more frequently.

Had been to Swati ice n spice for lunch today. It is the same as Swati Maharaja (the one in Koramangala), se group of restaurants basically!
Ordered the Biriyani here (chicken and Mutton both large). Quantity of Biriyani was on the lesser side! But tasted nice.. less spices made it edible to a good extent!
We then ordered the Neer dosa with chicken curry (forgot name), and it was a very good combination for having a lite lunch!
Paneer 65 was okayish, not the best I would say.
Swati chicken is good.. With lots of spices and cashews used, was the best dish that we ordered.
Ambiance is normal, that of a typical restaurant. Nothing fancy!
Valet parking is a boon considering the place is situated on a busy service road.
Prawns starters, Pomfret masala, Paneer butter masala are worth to try here.
As my employer has sponsored this lunch I ate till full. Even after eating sufficiently to last upto dinner the bill was less than 500 per head.
Ambience is good enough to throw your bachelor party treat here :p
Food good, pocket good, ambience good. The only bad is the service. The waiters seem to forget to deliver our order. You may need to follow up with gentle reminders.
I went for the Mangalorean fare here and found the result inconsistent. Some chicken starters were made too spicy and others were well balanced.

On North fare the butter chicken and naan is good.
The fried fish though seems to be another inconsistent one, it varies each time.
Would visit again, but might not experiment.
Recommended by a friend to try swathi, must say was delighted and very happy with the food. Perfectly cooked south Indian delicacies with very good service. Loved the decor and the way we were attended to. Was skeptical at first to try the cocktails but turned out to be one of the best cocktails I have had in bangalore. Keep the good work going ..... I highly recommend people around hsr, btm and kmangala to try this place you are sure to go back again :)
Visited this place with a friend for lunch. We ordered few starters and they were delicious. We ordered fried rice for main course but didn't like it. Ambience was good so was the service.

Have been regular here. Never got disappointed but they all their waiters keep watching cricket match in TV all the time, but food is of good quality and positive vibes.
Authentic south Indian food. Meals spread over banana leaf will increase your appetite and give you rustic feeling. Nice ambience with courteous staffs maintaining hygiene.
After hearing dozen times about the food quality they give, I decided to give a try today. Ordered Paneer butter masala with roti, seeing that dish over my table I couldnt resist, but when those paneer chunks married my taste buds, it was the best experience for paneer gravy dish which was a perfect utterly butterly cook with medium masalas. Gravy was so fine that it you can smell the aroma of it and feel nice, go for it, budget restaurant. Cheers to the team!

One of my favorite place. Very closer to my home so I keep ordering or going there very often. Even after eating N no of times im not bored of their mutton chops. Very friendly on the pocket.

Nice place. We are regulars at this joint and never ever get bored of mutton chops. They serve rasam with plain rice which is pretty convenient nevertheless. People concerned with quality food on shoestring budget shouldn't think of anything else other than swati's if they are even remotely near hsr or koramangala.
Best place for Andhra food. The biryanis are yummmy. Starts are too good as well. The ambience is amazing on the top floor. Dim lighting. Perfect family restaurant.

Typical Andra style restaurant. The ambience doesn't need a mention because it's quite normal. The taste is above normal on all my visits. The word from my non-vegetarian friends is the prawn pepper and the fish fry are the dishes to be tasted.
The biryani is served in 2 quantities small and regular. That's a special mention.
Overall it's a just visit spot on Saturday night when you are bored of cooking and want to have a decent dinner.

This is one great place I would love to go again. Heard a lot about them that they really serve some good Andhra food. And bingo! So true. Came here for a Sunday late lunch. Ambiance is pretty good with two sitting areas - AC and non-AC. We preferred AC section. Coming to food - we ordered mutton thali and nati kodi biriyani with some coolers. I was completely floored by the mutton thali - the meat was so soft and had the perfect blend of spices. The thali came with soft and juicy mutton fry, mutton curry, one chapati, small papad and a bowl of rice. It was heavenly. The nati kodi biriyani was great too - tender chicken and perfect Andhra taste. Overall a really good eating experience. Highly recommended.

I must say, I am not a great judge when it comes to Andhra food. But, anyplace that gives me good food which tastes great is more than sufficient for me. I have visited this place couple of Times and I really liked the food. May it be the meals, starters like baby corn Manchurian, mushroom chilli, chili chicken,.biriyani... All are tasty. Ambience is average but the service is quick. Those who drink, can enjoy the top floor restaurant also. Last.. Yet not least, the desserts are tasty and if you are lucky u get discounts also. The cost of dishes are economic.
Good place to have Andhra meal, haven't tried anything else. Easy to locate, decent dinning area.

Good Food and nice taste. But While ur in swathi pls try the Andhra Food as they are very good in that. Other side Chinese and other things are ok but not great.

We usually visit their 2nd floor during Lunch hrs.....During our multiple visits they had changed their options frequently
First few Visits - They had a buffet spread for approx 400 which they have suspended now...
Then - They had this brunch offer with 1 unlimited starter + 1 drink ( beer / mocktail ) + Curry of your choice + Bread / Rice...for approx 350 which they have suspended again.

I have tried their Wontons ( Both veg & chicken ), Murg Ka Shola, Mushroom Pepper Dry, Manchurians,Chciken Tikka, Veg & Non-Veg platter ; All are good....& priced "ok"
For main course I have tried their Biriyani, Chicken Curry, Veg Kadhai, Butter Chicken,Fried Rice, Veg pulao & Bread which is also descent enough....& priced "ok" too.
Having said this their dessert options are minimal - A ready made ice cream (2)scoops cost approx 150/- which is very very high...
The first floor is more of a busy restaurant while the 2nd one has some good decor with cozy ambience
The quantity per portion they serve is sufficient for 2.
But.....The time they take you to serve any of the above will get you impatient.Only after repeated enquires,requests and few impatient requests can only get the food to the table.

Another Andhra cuisine restaurant, located in HSR Outer ring road, in service road. Been there couple of times, had Chicken and Mutton biriyani and meals. All were taste good, with value for money for main dishes. I did not try out starters and other items, I would like to try out other items next time I visit here. They also serve alcohol.

Love this restaurant, you get the best Tandoori chicken in Bangalore. Prices are pretty high when compared to normal restaurant but still worth visiting once in a while :)
We've been here many times for the last few years. Biryani taste found here has never let us down. Rice quality, simple but delicious taste along with raita and sherwa. One of the best you'll find in bangalore. Never oily, rightly cooked meat and the unique flavour you only find here. Other much hyped ones in HSR can't beat this gem. On infrastructure wise, it needs a serious uplifting!

Ambience is classy. Food is delicious. It's top restaurant for family, romantic dinner and to spend time peaceful with your friends. Background soft music in the restaurant adds to the mood. Great staff and service. People around HSR layout must visit this restaurant once.
If you want to have a good south Indian meal and you stay near Silkboard ,this is the place.

It is a nice place for business meetings. Although the buffet system offers so many food options, I feel the food taste can be improved more. The ambience is also very calm and quiet even though it is situated on the main road.
Lounging for a good hearty meal in both veg and non-veg options, come to Swathi. The food quality is good and quantity served is good for two. They serve meal options as well both North and South Indian. The staff is polite and service is quick. They accept cards for payment in addition to cash.
