I visited here this woman's day, crowd was descent and service was gud.
We ordered Masala Papad, Methi Macai Malai , and butter naan.
The papad could have been fried , and then prepared, but still was good
The curry was really good and had a authentic north Indian taste which I really crave for in Bangalore, and so was the Naan, it was crisp and soft as required , and served hot.
Would love to try Paneer next at this place.
The restaurant can work a little more on the Ambience though, interiors can be more warm and a bit more decorative. The place didn't come together so well as the food.
Ordered 3 combos Amritsari kulcha thali & amritsari naan thali & rajma Chawal & 2 rasmalai.
All good except Rasmalai, which was too dull & watery
I don't miss Delhi anymore, coz I get the typical chole, kulchr, kadi of old Delhi at happy singh.its veg ,but even for the non veg lovers,I wld suggest u to try here once.
We have visited this place few times , couple of my favourite dishes would be daal makhani and mushroom masala with garlic butter naan ( pics attached )

+4
This place has a decent Punjabi themed ambience. They only serve vegetarian food. We ordered roti and butter naan with mushroom and paneer curry. Special mention to lassi. It tasted good. The staff were polite and courteous.
A decent north indian punjabi restaurant really satisfies your hunger after a busy shopping. Tasty food and good staff service. worth trying their mango lassi and butter milk.
Good food. Specially loved the Amritsari panneer curry. Had chilli mushroom, paneer tikka, veg kadai, fried rice and chaas. Everything tasted good. Slow service though.
Overall good.
Best place if you are looking for vegetarian in InOrbit mall, Whitefield, must try tandoori stuffed mushroom, corn and veg tikki starters and the taste is very good.
The ambiance was good but I would rate it four for food. My expectation was more when I went there after seeing all the below reviews. The food is more spicy and had less quantity as per the price.
Hungry and tired from shopping, my friend and I decided spontaneously to visit this restaurant to satisfy our hunger pangs. The restaurant is newly opened in Inorbit mall Whitefield and serves Punjabi cuisine as the name indirectly suggests😉
We ordered tawa mushroom, makki roti, kulcha, and jumbo lassi
Tawa mushroom was awesome! Good chunks of mushroom with non tangy masala..perfect amount of spiciness.. vow!! Maybe it was my hunger which made it Uber delicious but well I liked it..😋🤗
Makki roti and kulcha too were equally good.
The only disappointment was the jumbo lassi as it was supposed to be jumbo but it was just a normal glass..
Ambiance is okay..nothing fancy..for quick lunch, you can come here anytime..😄
With Sampad Rout
Tasty Food, Nice Ambience and Quick Service. Lipta Mushroom masala was super. Economical menu. We will visit again Happy Singh restaurant
in Inorbit mall.
The one thing we visited Happy Singh for was fulka and dal makhni. I must say the place did not disappoint. The price looks a bit in the steep side but that's normal inside a mall. We ended up eating dal makhni, garlic naan, pudina parata, amritsari kulcha, Punjabi lassi. Everything was great and a pleasure on the taste buds. Ambience was okay.
Been here with a friend for a quick lunch. The food is good. There are not many good north Indian restaurents in this area and this one is actually good. The service although is very slow. You'll have to call/ask the waiter twice or sometimes thrice to get your oder get to your table. Ambience is also good. Must try the mango lassi.
the food served here is mouth watering and compelled us to visit time and again.one should visit here and enjoy the place with excellent food
A good open restaurant in Inorbit Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore. They have variety of food choices and the quality and taste is also up to the mark.
We (me and my roommates) generally visit this restaurant every week either on Saturday or Sunday to have a good dinner. Our host and dost Mr. Tapas treats us really well.
Quality: The quality of food is good and proper hygiene is maintained in the restaurant. We have never felt that the food or the curry is a day old or something like that.
Taste: The taste is just perfect. It feels like that it will be liked by every taste buds.
Pricing: On the pricing front, I would say that it is somewhat above the average prices. I think the pricing issue will be there for every restaurant which is opened in a mall. One of the most common thing is the Indian breads, they are really overpriced. Also, the beverages like Fresh LIme soda, Lassi and Buttermilk are overpriced.
Service: If you will visit the restaurant when there will be a rush hour, then it will take huge time to serve your order even after they have a very good number of staff. But during the normal hours, they serve you really quick and that too fresh and hot. I think they need to improve on the coordination part between the kitchen and the serving staff.
Must Try: Mutter Paneer, Subji Paneer, Chole.
makke di roti and sarso da saag
a very famous dish combo from North India can be found on this place with similar taste (except ghee ).loved my dinner parcel in office from this place
happy singh is one of the places to have the best north Indian dishes. it's good for those who are strict about all veg restaurants.. the quality and quantity both are good.. and seasonal makke di roti n Sarson ka saag is ultimate..
A true treasure in Whitefield. Love the food -be it the combos or be it the entree. The quality and the quantity are both good. A great place for a casual family dinner .
A lovely place for some authentic Indian food. Good service and good food. Great quantity as well. I Suggest this for a good lunch on a weekend.
I really like this place amazing service good atmosphere good food
Service Management amazing
Team members are very friendly
Thanks for the food
Good place to try food at.We had ordered Kaju masala ,Dum aloo and veg kofta and all dishes turned to be good.As other restaurant have same gravy for all dishes this was not the case with this restaurant. It was good ,Must try once
Yumm yummm yummm¡¡¡¡ i have found best gullab jamun there. 😘😘😘.. Hehehe i am reviewing dessert first as i got excited for gulab jamun wherever i see them. Guys this place is just a wonderful option of this mall for north Indian food. We ordered panner butter masala and spicy koftas and in bread naans, everything was just superbly delicious and at last we all were licking our fingers. In addition to food bill also suprised us, it was just 1k for 4 member and we have eaten like a big fatties😜😜😜.. This is the place where you wnat to go multiple times.
Happy Singh is a lovely place. Ambience is good. I went with a friend and we thought to go for some authentic punjabi dish. So we ordered Chana Masala with Garlic Naan and Jira Rice. And it was not all disappointing. Loved it absolutely! 👌🏼
Happy Singh restaurant is food very good and service friendly staff and Ambicno my friends birthday party is happy Singh restaurant enjoy 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
I went there with my friends.
In starters, we ordered Achari paneer tikka, Corn veg tikki, Regular paneer tikka and Veg manchurian. All of them were really tasty.
In main course, we ordered kadai veg jalfarezi and Raiwali bhindi with butter rotis and hari mirch parantha. Again, I found everything tasty.
Mango lassi is also good. Punjabi lassi is bit extra sugary.
Ambience is nice. Prices are okay. Service is good.
I liked the place.
A decent place for vegetarian food. The price is ok. The place is suitable for everyone. The staff are polite. The service is quick. The ambience can be made much better.
The food here was good and so is the ambience. Tasty food , good quantity and hygenic. We liked the subji here very much .slightly expensive but worth it .
HAPPY SINGH truly makes you happy happy with its airy atmosphere, spacious seatings, lively ambience and high ceiling lights. It has everything in yellow, blue and white shades . This is purely veg restaurant, serves fresh and hot Chinese and North Indian cuisine and it is light on pocket.
We hit on :
VEG MAN-CHOW SOUP : This vaguely spicy, sour soup is perfectly balanced with its thin texture, right amount of veggies and crunchy noodles is a good appetite to start a meal.
VEGETABLE KOFTA : Rich Kofta’s dunked in creamy smooth curry is exceptionally impressive when paired with hot Fulka.
VEG BIRYANI : We ordered Veg Biryani but it seems more of a Veg Pulav; which is scrummy ,full of veggies, garnished with cilantro served with Raita.
RAS MALAI : Ras Malai Is amazing in taste ,topped with crushed pistachio’s.
FRESH LIME WATER : Lime water is fresh and different as cherry is doused but with added flavour it tasted average .
Friendly staff, decent choice of menu, though service is a bit slow but, once you start having food; you’ll completely forget about it.
Ambience : 4/5
Food : 4/5
Service : 3/5
Value for Money : 4/5
Visit Again : Yes
For pure vegetarian people like me, it is one of the very few places in Whitefield to enjoy some good food. The place is recommended for some delicious Punjabi dishes. it is conveniently located in Inorbit Mall.
Happy Singh definitely made us happy after our recent visit. Good daal, paneer and both were recommended by their executive personnel. Service & ambience are decent. Located on 3rd floor in food court. Recommended for punjabi north food.
Happy singh is nice Restro , punjabi food is good . I was expecting alot but quite disappointed. Ambience is good food quality is good , neat & clean. Being punjabi happy singh should rocks
Loved the achaari paneer tikka and corn veg tikki under starters, followed by paneer pasanda and vegetable korma with garlic naan.. It was just awesome & this is the best North-Indian taste one can get in Whitefield area..!!
The tastiest Punjabi/North Indian food joint in Whitefield. Their Dine-in experience is better than the delivery one. Their Butter naans and Dal makhni are worth dying for. This Singh is sure to make you Happy!!!
We ordered Stuffed Tandoori Mushrooms, Lahori Paneer and Corn Pulav. Quality of food was good. Quantity could have been better compared to the price. And, yes they took longer time to bring our food. Otherwise, nice ambience and staff was courteous.
Happy Singh is a great place for veg menu. The preparation is very very tasty, the menu is exceptionally good and price is the best sweetener. Must visit for all whitefilders. Service is very personal and warmth. The new ambiance is just too good
We had ordered Makki ki roti with Sarson ka Saag, Fulka, Paneer Lababdar, Mushroom Do Piaza, Dal Tadka and Rajma Masala. Everything was very tasty except Dal and Rajma as there was almost no salt in them.
Then we had Lassi which was also better than Lassi of any well known Lassi place.
But service was very slow when it came to starters. We were made to wait for very long, even to get just Masala papad.
Overall a must visit place for vegetarians, with average ambience, delicious and authentic Punjabi food.
A vegetarian delight, present right near the food court of Inorbit Mall.
Cuisine is authentic Punjabi and is totally worth every penny you spend.
Having tried their Deluxe Thali which consisted of Dal Makhni, Paneer Subzi, Dahi bhalla, Mixed Vegetable Subzi, Dal, Jeera Rice, Butter naan and Gulab Jamun was a complete meal altogether and everything tasted delicious.
Totally recommend it if you're on a hungry stomach looking for good food on a budget.
I would love to visit this place again.
Tasty and wholesome food. Excellent taste. Authentic Punjabi cuisine. Cool ambiance at inorbit mall Whitefield. Ordered makki di roti, sarson da saag, paratha, kulcha. All of them were quite good. Paisa vasool if you are hungry. Lassi was too cold as it was in the fridge for too long. Service is good. Service charges are not included. You can tip separately if you're happy with everything. Trying the home delivery now.
The food is delicious, warm ambience best suited for family and what the hell, it's Punjabi food, it has to be good! . The food at this place got me doing some Balle, balle! Hahah! Awesome place for some Punjabi food. Dishes overloaded with generous amounts of butter, HS steals our heart away. I have ordered 3 combos from them, one is amritsari kulcha, and other is makki roti with sarson ka saag & a Deluxe Thali. Loved the totality of Deluxe Thali. One couldn’t ask for anything more from daal to curries, then curd delicacies included dahi bhallas & raita , Pulav & not the least Gulab Jamuns , everything was extremely delicious. Show stealer was amritsari Kulcha which was wonderfully hot, loaded with stuffing and served with a gigantic blob of butter on top. So I believe this is a must visit place to have, Price is reasonable and quality is impressive.
The only thing they can improve upon is their service, could be quicker.
Ambience is normal but the food is delicious.. authentic Punjabi food.. tasty food combined with good service gives you a great experience..
This place has shifted to Inorbit Mall and has reopened. Must try for all veggie lovers.
Very good location and of course better than the old one.
Been here for a quick lunch... I really liked the colour bottles on the tables gives a rustic look... Ordered phulka and butter panner masala... The gravy was super rich however didn't suit my hyderabadi taste buds as we like everything spicy... The curry wasn't spicy.... The phulkas weren't cooked properly and once we informed they immediately replaced it.. Happy with the service... We were hungry so couldn't take the pics of the food.
This Punjabi Restaurant is for all vegetarians and is a welcome entry in the Inorbit Mall, Whitefield (next to Marriott Whitefield). The servers are amazing, well spoken, clean and well informed of the contents of the menu. If they don’t know, they will call a senior and give correct information. The restaurant also customises spices according to your taste and make your experience an unforgettable one. The bhindi and daal makhani were amazing and missi roti, paneer parantha and methi roti were crisp and just as expected. We could have had more rotis but wanted to save some space for desserts. My son was able to eat the whole parantha and my elderly mother loved the taste of daal too. So all in all, a must go from my side.
After long wait it is reopened inside Inorbit mall. This place is very good for vegetarians. Loved their shorba and starters. Main course too has many options and tasty.
All the best to them in their new location.
Only for Vegetarians. I have visited this restaurant mostly Lunch time for a quick bite. Service is prompt. Food also is good. Liked the achari mushroom and butter roti here.
Happy singh goes veg is the full name of this place and i dont know why he did that 😂😂 but the food is exceptionally tasty. All veg cuisines but prepared with the tej of non veg. All the punjabis in bangalore who are missing their ghar ka khana, do visit this place. Service is very good and that adds a cherry to the cake. Its affordable but its at a place where its hard to find it so tag it guys, its worth a shot.
It is a delivery review. When you have majority as vegetarian friends, then you tend to order vegetarian food. One of the friends living in that area recommended Happy Singh as she loves the food from here.
So we ordered Paneer Lababdaar, Dal Makhani and Mixed veg. The packing was very neat and the food was not spilled. Paneer Labbadaar had dry fruits in paneer and it had a sweet-ish taste to it. Dal Makhani had a nice smell and was good. Mixed veg consisted of various veggies and was really delicious.
Delivery service was on time and rates were friendly. Must try. Delicious and yummy north Indian food :)
I am a non-vegetarian but the vegetarian food here is so good that I don't mind not having meat once in a while. The authentic North Indian dishes reminds me of my Delhi. Simple clean ambience, good behavior of the staff, service is quick and the food is absolutely delectable. Would recommend: Sarson saag that is super delicious but doesn't float in ghee. Lahori paneer, the taste is yum and the quality of paneer so soft. Kaju masala, I could never replicate that dish at home and has become a must order when I visit, Dal Makhani, Hing dhaniye ke chatpate aloo: oh so spicy but so good! Their mango lassi during the season is lovely and their hot gulab jamuns are something that completes your meals. Once I visited post lunch hours and ordered chaats and those too were a delight. I am still not done tasting the varied options the menu has. But that is food heaven for North Indian food lovers!
Being a vegetarian family has its perks. You search a lot for veg restaurants and try a lot of them. And you chance upon places which may not be so swanky and hip, but serve amazing food. Happy Singh is one such place for me. The food suits my palate and they have good variety. The service is fast and courteous. The only negative is the upkeep, they need to work on decor a bit more...
A neat clean place with good vegetarian and authentic punjabi food. It's a bit highly priced... though the food quality more or less matches up to the price but the ambience just doesn't. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Loved the food here. We often went to this place when we crave good punjabi food. Best here is Paneer tikka masala. All the breads were very soft. Delicious thick lassi.:-)
Best Punjabi food. you will get all kind of Punjabi veg food. Price is little bit costly. This is a busy place on Friday. Don't miss this place if you are Punjabi or vegetarian .
