One of my most favorite places in Bangalore to have some amazing yet economically prized food! Located in Frazer Town, this restaurant has been my go to place for years!!! My favorites here are the gyoza and general Tso's chicken. The staff always has a smile on the face and they have maintained their Asian decor. Another thing I would like to highlight is the restroom, many places do not maintain it properly but this place surely does. This restaurant is perfect for small or average group. Overall I always have a nice experience at this place

We were looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant near by Frazer town and heppen to for this nice place
We ordered Chicken Wonton soup- which was little watery and wanton tasted nice. Thai Pei chicken was spicy and authentic in taste. Veg Singapore noodles was the best. It had more veggies and noodles was thin. Chicken Dragon chop suey with crispy noodles was drooling. Overall a nice place to visit. Serving portion is not sufficient.
Service was fast and they don't have ample space for parking.!
My comfort food all the time. Love the Chinese food here, my all time favourite is the Fujian rice. It’s in the large eats on the menu, a meal by itself.
The chicken fried rice and the Hunan chicken gravy plus the Mala chicken gravy is an must try.
Authentic Chinese place and worth the money. Quality food, that shall fulfil your Chinese cravings.
This place is my first choice for dine in restaurant. Zomato gold is also applicable here which helps you have good taste in less money. Great food!
The ambience of this place is really cute.Staff is friendly and really good service.I personally loved this place. I had ordered chicken manchow soup,Mala chicken and dragon chopsuey it all tasted really delicious.The soup was really tasty and appealing.

Absolutely love chung wah. The family eats from here at least twice a month. The hunan chicken, fried chicken, pepper chicken, koi thiow, fried rice and wontons are personal favorites. Always great for large quantities.
My favourite at Chung Wah is their Egg Thai basil fried rice and Veg green Thai curry, also like their Egg Schezwan fried rice and Kung pao chicken, their hot and sour soup is nice too... Getting a little expensive these days and the quality and taste varies from time to time...
When you are in love for Chinese then this is the place. The prices are a little high but the taste is really good. The restaurant guys were very polite and humble. A decent ambience. Good service. Parking at your own risk. Don't forget to taste chicken lollipop and burnt garlic rice.

Chung Wah has some exceptional Chinese food and even more exceptional service. The waiter got me a veg gravy free of cost when he realised I was vegetarian and my parents were only ordering non veg gravies. We ordered the chilly paneer, drunken chicken and lamb BBQ gravy with Sichuan noodles. We also tried their Dasen ice cream dessert and everything was excellent! Definitely a recommend.

I love the food here. They beat most Chinese restaurants hands down with the quality they offer. Try their Chopsuey. It’s one of the best all in one dishes .

Every dish adds a seperate character.... This place is pocket friendly and its a must visit if you are looking for best Chinese eatery within a stipulated buget yet not compromising on quality.

It’s been our favorite place to go especially during the first two years of our marriage. Very tasty food and their thin noodles are great. So is their Thai stuff. Over all it’s great.
Chung wah never disappoints in terms of quantity. One main course is easily filling for two people. The food is also mouthwatering and you can safely experiment with your picks.

Have visiting this place far far too many times as this is the most decent and closest Chinese restaurant from my house. Once a king in both tatste and price are currently sitting on decent price and decent taste. My rating would have been far more higher if I were to review them 5 years back.

Oh I love this place. I visited Chung Wah (Frazer town) multiple times and the food was just awesome. I love their chicken steam rice and steam rice with green Thai curry.. it's a must try.

Pls note, I visited other outlets of Chung Wah and the taste was different. Hence I recommend Frazer town outlet for the dishes mentioned above.
We ordered 6 dishes, bou vegetarian and non-veg. Everything was excellent! The Thai Red curry and the Pok choy stir fry were really good and the chowmein too.
Great food and service. Was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surpirised. Not one dish was off the mark. The pakchoy and the Thai red curry in particular were outstanding.
Really nice place with the food being of a good quality... :) The Drunken Chicken starter is really amazing. So is most of the things that is on the menu.. :)
I had gone to this place for lunch with my friends this afternoon. The place had an ordinary but soothing ambience.We had ordered for fresh lime juice and chicken spring rolls for starters. The chicken starter was not great in taste though the fresh lime juice was quite refreshing. For the main course we had ordered for Dan Dan Mein Chicken Noodles and Chicken Manchurian Gravy. I loved the taste of both the dishes especially the noodles. I will certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good Chinese food in an affordable budget.

Visited this places last tuesday. Was in search of a good chinese restaurant and found this place absolutely close to my work place. From outside it looks small and shabby but its absolutely different when u get in there. Its around a 40 seater eat house with nice soft decor with soothing colours. We ordered American chicken chopsuey , dragon sea food chopsuey and Fukien Fried Rice. the serving time is around 20 mins. The food in quantity as well as in quality was great. The seafood chopsuey although only had prawn as sea food and no other sea foods in it. So more of it was kinda prawn chopsuey. Although it was great as the taste was really awesome. Would like to get back to try other preparations soon. Later discovered they have a lot of outlets in different parts of bangalore. So they are a chain and its a good place to try. Go ahead foodies.
Chung Wah is my go-to restaurant when I'm craving Chinese take out. The Chung Wah chowmein is a long standing favourite. In gravies, I would recommend fish in oyster sauce. One portion of rice or noodles used to be sufficient for two, but lately they have done away with plastic containers and what they send in foil packs looks a lot less. So order more to be on the safe side.

I've gone twice to this restaurant... Once with a vegetarian friend of mine and the next time with my family. To begin with, the place looks super small from outside. This place situated right near the road and it should be easy to spot but it is not. The ambience is quite nice and it was pretty deserted both the times I went despite being weekends. The soup here is not that great. We ordered crispy rolls as the veg starter and the rolls were pretty good. The sauce was a little strong but overall they tasted decent. The drunk chicken wings were really good (we literally licked the gravy off after eating). I have tried both the seafood Thai green curry and the veg Thai green curry. The seafood Thai green curry was obviously better(remember I am a hard core non vegetarian) but I feel the chicken one would have been better. We tried varieties of rice but they were nothing very exceptional that the taste stood out. We tried one of their desserts which was like fried noodles and ice cream. The noodles were marinated in honey and then fried and sesame seeds were sprinkled all over. This was served with a scoop of ice cream. The overall desert tasted pretty good and it was something so we enjoyed it. The total price was very reasonable and we were satisfied with price. The service was not at all great. The waiters are not very acquainted with the dishes and they were unable to recommend dishes.

The place is deserted during weekdays maybe cuz there are many eateries around the place. Not bad place for a quiet dinner, not much of Parking 🅿 available more towards on the road itself. The portions are decent enough. I liked the seafood soup

I genuinely didn't expect much out of this place, but being a Thai curry hunter I always love to try it everywhere available. So this place not located At any great location but has a lot of fabulous things to give you. The food just so delicious. From the plating of the food to the taste and the burp! Amazing! It is not highly priced and the quantity is descent too. A must visit place for Thai curry lovers, I'm sure it will be worth it.
Ordered online, and the order was delayed for almost 45 mins. To add in to that, the delivery boy had missed a dish, had to make phone calls and explain to the restaurant and then the missed out dish was delivered half an later. One of the must visit restaurants on my list, while visiting Banglore for holidays, with friends. Since years, Chung Wah has never failed to disappoint. With a great ambience for family and friends to dine out on weekdays and weekends, Chung Wah offers some great Indo-Chinese dishes and very sensible rates and value portions.
The Wanton soup and Manchow soup are must tries here, one being light and refreshing and the other a meal by itself. The momo’s and Drunken chicken wings are highly recommended and so is the crispy chilli paneer.
In main courses the General Tao’s chicken is a refreshing and spicy take on the stable Manchurian, which itself is worth a visit here. The Pot of prosperity is a must try and highly recommended if you are here with a group, it’s a good mix of Fish balls, Prawns and Chicken with vegetables.
The hoisin lamb is another favorite of mine along with Lamb in spicy Hunan sauce.
With rice its always been the good old plain Chicken fried rice or the Shanghai fried rice. The Chung Wah chowmein is a must try for noodle lovers.
Good thing here is if you really need to turn up the spice level in food they do it without regrets. A perfect place to end a crazy weekend night. Being pure Indo-chinese, the oil content in food is very heavy, you can try mentioning the server to go easy on the oil factor, but special dishes like Hunan and Schzwan commands a high oil content atleast in terms of Indo Chinese cuisine..
Chung Wah is nowhere close to authentic Chinese cuisine, but definitely at home in Bangalore serving lip smacking Indo-Chinese food. Must try !!
Absolute ambience. Chinese feeling from the moment you enter till you lick every last morsel on the plate served. Will cost you a bit dear but worth trying if you are crazy about Chinese cuisine.
I just been here thrice and from the service to the ambience and most importantly the food is a 5 on 5 I ordered the general tao chicken which was garnished with broccoli not bad and the schewan fried rice and noodles were good too the manchow soup didn't impress me much thought it would be spicy but it like a normal chicken corn soup. Hot and sour soup- one of the best hot and sours that I have ever tasted ... Perfect balance of all the spices... And really hot
Prawn , chicken lollipop , Schewan fried rice with hot and spicy chicken and chilli chicken - everything tastes pretty decent ... Nothing mind blowing but not terrible
On the whole Chung Wah is what I would call the neighbourhood Chinese restaurant where you can get VFM Chinese food...
Have been here only once. The garlic soup soothes your throat if you are having a sour throat. The drums of heaven (non-veg) and shredded chicken with pepper are the tastiest of the lot. The American chopsuey is not very delectable. They are just like the ones available at other Chinese restaurants. Just another Chinese restaurant but with a much much better ambience.
We went here for a family dinner - at around 8 or so.
It was really quiet and the waiters were all ready to take orders. And so we decided what we wanted to eat.
My husband and I were recovering from a bad cold, so the Roast Garlic Soup (Chicken) sounded good - and it tasted even better!
My parents and my sister had their share of The Chicken Soup and Sweet Corn Soup.
Both of which were good.
The Dragon Rolls come with a very good dipping sauce. And the Crispy Chilli Potato is really good too.
For the main course we asked the waiter to recommend a spicy gravy dish - so we went with Mala Chicken - I liked that too.
And the quantity they serve with the rice dishes are generous.
We ordered a Vegetarian Fried Rice, Sichuan Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice and Dan Dan Mein.
All of them were really good. All Chinese-y!

Everything about this place is good except the food - which is great! We regularly go here to satisfy our craving for Chinese food. Menu offers a lot of variety and the order takers are good at guiding you through your order. The attenders are helpful and render prompt service. Ambience is simple and classy, suitable for families and couples alike. Highly recommended for a relaxed chinese dinner.
Chung Wah outlets are always the place I go to if my stomach grumbles for some Chinese food. This one has better ambiance than others, but I usually order to go. My favorites are the Chinese/American chopsueys and the mixed fried rice. I also tried the Sichuan rice which was super spicy and just too hot for my liking. There is a lot of choices on the menu and for the price offered the food is pretty good.
Only issue I have at this outlet is the lack of parking space available.
The food was very good and yum.loved it. And the quantity is also too good for the price. 2 people can share from 1 meal. I ordered Dan Dan mein noodles, koi theo noodles along with chicken in chilly sauce. It was very good. Highly satisfied. Will be going for more.

Among all the Chung Wah I loved the food here at frazer town. The Chung Wah fried rice and the Hunan chicken gravy is to die for. Really love there sweet corn chicken soup and the Chinese grilled chicken. Value for money and a great place to go for Chinese !!!

A really quiet place to sit n enjoy food with friends n family.
Ambience; Calming presence inside the place, just the right amount of lighting and the place spoke for itself not any kind of heavy decorations just a plain simple relaxing vibe which is a great contrast to many Chinese places.
Seating; An approx 30 people capacity, good for a small groups and hanging out.
Service; Really good staff and service quality, polite and very homely type, they were really on the theme of making one feel at peace not intrusive yet present.
Food; Flavours are really on point and they suggested one really good one,
Drunken Chicken Wings - really juicy and literally falling off the bones, the sauce was full of flavour and at the same time not heavy which was surprisingly good.
Kimchi Salad - A refreshing bite with a sweet n sour playful taste, it was a great change of flavour from the wings and was a good way to reset flavour of the tongue.
Mala Wontons - Sweet start with a spicy peppery end, much like a kid being cute n shy in the beginning and later once comfortable full spice n badmash😂, a really enjoyable dish to say in all round perspective.

Very good food and their Thai cuisines are pretty good. You should try their Laksa soup which is super yummy. Helping is generous too for most items including fried rice and chicken dishes.
2022: Still one of the best Chinese restaurants out there. Their Chicken manchow soup is excellent, so is their Chicken lollipop. Try their Burnt Garlic Egg Fried Rice, you will be impressed!
Very good Chinese restaurant in the area. Even a plan veg fried rice is made to perfection with flavour. All their dishes are really good and authentic old style Chinese which bangalore served and you don’t find these days. Very reasonable price point and very good quality and quantity of food

Location (4/5): Chung Wah is located centrally near Coles Road. Can be easily located from the road. Conveyance is not an issue. Parking is a little tight for four wheelers but decently available for 2 wheelers.
Ambience (3/5): Great ambience in this 50 seater restaurant. Indian-Chinese feel. They were broadcasting football matches. The music could've been better curated. Good for family outings or even dates.
Service (4/5): Staff were courteous and helpful in selection and recommendation of food. Service was prompt and wait time was not much. Well-trained staff.
Food(4/5): the cost per person is around ₹300 for an appetizer, a staple and a side dish (lesser for vegetarians). We ordered the Lamb and Drunken Chicken Wing starter, Chinese Chopsuey, Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken. The quantity was decent except for the Chopsuey but the food was really tasty! Great options for vegetarians too.
