Tried Kerala meals and ayala fish fry many times. It was consistently good and is definitely recommended. Also the Kerala porotta , chicken stew and other Kerala special curries are almost always good, chicken stew being one of the best available around. Seer fish fry is overpriced and not upto the mark (oil used doesn't taste fresh). Fried rice , and accompaniments like chilli chicken was not good whenever we tried. Overall I feel the place is great for Kerala cuisine , not much for others.
Visited tharavadu for a Kerala meal and it was a nice experience. The food was well cooked and in authentic kerala style. The veg meal has some good side dishes, you also get a lot of seafood here. Their fish Fry's are good. The price is also not very high and they have a good ambience. They service was also nice and fast. It's located just near to the Bommanahalli signal.

I’m a fan of their chutney (Chammanthi) 😍😋😋 Just like grinded on stone in home with awesome ingredients.
Kappa was also good. Quantity is not the best though. Packing was not bad - Kappa on banana leaf+ Aluminum foil+ thin paper bag, was warm.
Tried their chicken Biryani, really liked it. It is Kerala style biryani and no doubt it taste really good with good pieces of chicken. Ordered through Zomato. They gave additional papad, pickle and some other thing(I don't know) which was even more tastier. Would like to definitely try out other items.
Note: It's preferable to have chicken biryani rather than mutton biriyani.
Very good place to have South Indian foods and mainly it is very much clean ! So we feel good.They deliver foods at perfect time and packed very well !
One of the best authentic kerala veg meals I've had in bangalore so far. The chammanthi is to die for ❤️. I got the food delivered home and the packaging ensured my food reached me in great condition.
One of fantastic Kerala meal I had yesterday after long time. I felt like I was having at my home. The Kerala style (coconut base fish curry) Fish curry awesome. The hygiene factor and the way they packed the dishes is good. Btw, the parcel charge is 30 rupees but I see many boxes to pack curries separately. I recommend the meal if you are looking for a Kerala style meal. I request restaurant to give some quality of veg curry dishes.
Nice place to have some delicious Kerala cousin. Quick delivery with good quantity. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cool and pretty long time wait for service.
Very pleasantly surprised with my delivery order. The quantity is very less but that allows you to order more. The oil used to cook and fry was good and not reused. Very nicely made mangaloren curry and parity.

..i had meals and fish for lunch...meals was so good...worthy for each penny...n i had mathi fry n koonthal fry...even that wa sso gud...night again we went there...and had chicken biryani...and chilli chicken...chicken biriyani was so yummm.....chilly chicken was not spicy as expected...ambience is so gud

I have been here several times, recently there was some construction work going on due to which it's totally a year I have been there. visited here yesterday and yes the food tastes just the same. puttu biriyani is my fav. try their fish fries. gosh I m salivating now. a decent eatery with a Kerala look inside and a cute aquarium to take your stress off work. another must to be trued is Kerala porotta and chicken curry. I have loved the experience here never have the staff disappointed as well.
Pocket friendly restaurant. I like them Crispy Kerala Parotas and thandoori chicken here. Huge quantities, we ordered half tandoori chicken masala and had 7 Parotas with it. The North Indian gravy items are too sweet. Just another average pocket friendly restaurant. Chicken thandoori is a must have.
Been here for a lunch with a mallu friend. Decent looking place. Fish fry is my favorite. Kerala meal is good. Chicken kawab is plain waste of money.
Went here multiple times. Tried there kerala meals, chicken biriyani, chapthi, mix vegetable curry. Everything looks yummy but the best was mix vegetable curry :-). Ambiance is pretty good.
This restaurant is functioning for a very long time and the reason behind the same is the quality of the food they deliver. They consistently maintain the food taste.
1. Food - you can explore tasty and good Kerala dishes here. When I visited in the evening, they were not serving tea and snacks.
2. Parking - difficult for four wheelers as the place is located in a busy junction and there is no proper parking space here.
3. Location - easy to access, the restaurant is in the first floor
4. Dining space - they have more than 15 tables here and can accommodate good number of guests
5. Payment - can be done via cash or UPI

One of the best Kerala restaurants in Bangalore. Till date they have not lost the touch.
Only thing they have to take care is to either renovate or clean the place coz from day one it's the same.
Once its clean more people would come.

Quality of food is OK but they have to bit give concentration on Quantity. Apart from that I felt the Service staff is not attentive because I experienced this for 02 different times. We order 04 items they bring only 03 of the items, after reminding them of the 4th item they seek for the confirmation that did you order for this.
Awesome hotel. Though the atmosphere is little dark. It has veru authentic kerala foods. Taste is very good in very affordable price.
You want to try Authentic Kerala foods then this is the place you need to visit.
Recommendation to hotel: please improve your ambiance and you hotel entrance and visibility.

Didn't know anything about Kerala meals before this but I blindly ordered Egg Pothichoru (Egg lunch packed in banana leaf) from Tharavadu & oh my god!
From quantity to quality to packaging - everything was spot on. They made sure that the gravy rice, aaloo sabzi, papad, mint chatni, sambhar, kheer (payasam) or mint chhaas (buttermilk) - nothing spills out of the packaging. Freshly cooked rice, boiled egg & omlette. I literally overate the food.
Perfect for one person (if you're a foodie like me, otherwise you will waste some because the quantity is so much)
Got the deal from Swiggy at around 110 rs & my day is sorted tbh ⭐

Tharavadu restaurant offers delectable Kerala-style dishes in a pleasing ambiance. While the restaurant's ambience is inviting, the average parking space might require a bit of patience. Nevertheless, it's a great spot for experiencing authentic Kerala cuisine.

Have ordered couple of time from this place . Very first time had a very bad experience instead of veg meal gave non vet meal.
But the other food we ordered was good . Recently ordered pothi hoti and veg biryani .. both were good . Packaging was perfect and amount , taste and quality of food was good.
