Food is great not to much spicy and the right place for your taste buds
Best place to way North Indian dishes, friendly staff, the best place to go with family.
Home like food and the best lassi to get in Bangalore!!
Rasoi.
Visited this place for dinner with family.
Firstly do not expect any great ambience at this place and may not be a family friendly place to dine.
The owner can give a little more importance towards cleanliness.
This is a pure vegetarian joint, serving some really nice North Indian cuisine.
More over a very economical place to have food.
This is located in a quaint little corner of the busy BANASHANKARI 2nd Stage very close to KIMS.
We ordered the following items and my review is as follows,
1. Gobi Manchurian - Excellent
2. Aloo Gobi Masala - Excellent
3. Kadai Vegetable - Excellent
4. Phulka, Lacha Paratha, Aloo Paratha - Good.
If you are a lover of North Indian food, then this must be the place to eat, but the cleanliness factor and the ambience may pull you back but the food it is extremely awesome and worth.
I would recommend this place.
Me and my family wanted to go to some place which serves some authentic North Indian food and after searching a lot of places on Zomato, finally found this petite restaurant.
This place is just amazing for the kind of quality food they serve for such less money.
We had ordered many many dishes as we were very hungry, right from soups, veg ball manchurian, Parotas, Punjabi Thali, Lassi.
Soups - They were just like Knor soups which I’m pretty sure it is!!
Veg ball manchurian - This is nothing but desi manchurian, not too good but was a good deal.
Parota - We ordered two different Parota and they were literally finger licking good and serving was quite sufficient for the bucks we are giving. The stuffing is very yummy and this Parota doesn’t need a side dish at all, as it can be consumed all alone for the amazing stuffing.
Punjabi Thali - This Thali is so price worthy and delicious that if given a chance instead of eating junk or fast food for my lunch I would prefer this food instead as it’s so much like the ghar ka khana.
Absolutely loved their Parotas and the Thali.
Ambience - 3/5

The best food in affordable price!! You rarely get such an amazing combination of quantity with quality in Bangalore!! And fast delivery as well!! Just amazing
We accidentally went to this place, but were not disappointed. The place is filled with students and we were craving for some homely food. Nit an ambiance kind of place and more of a pickup or delivery place. But decent enough to eat there as well. Delicious homely food. Good takeaway place. Loved the curries and Peas pulav and Kichdi. Will surely order more food from here.

Amazing buttery smokey kulchas and paneer butter masala. Its more of a home cooked feel than a fancy restaurant. Amazing feel good food. Just go for the dhaba taste
Food could have been less oily and a little more in quantity. Could have added more vegetables in the biryani. Thanks so much for the timely delivery
ordered food came before time
The food was nice but there was a bit problem with the packing except the packing everything was very good
Wonderful food had fun... was sufficient
Good paneer butter masala and roti. Pocket friendly and tasty with lots of cashews(if you've ordered kaju paneer).
Cards not excepted but you can give cash or paytm.
amazing food.... hats off to rasoi!!!
On a Sunday night, the owner of the establishment himself delivered my order. The food was exceptional. Great value for money. this is the sort of business I like to support.
Ghar ka khaane is the word .. amazing taste
Its amazing to have the yummy food by these people and must say, its always a pleasure to eat food cooked by them
If you are a hostelite around this area, you would definitely know this.... Everything takes like home food ! No additives, No preservatives, so if you're missing mom's food, then this is the place to be ! Their full meal with (4phulkas) or mini meals with 2phulkas is worth the money ! Pictures awaited !
My reviews are entirely based on takeaways and home delivery. The ambience is not that great for dine in.This place is an inexpensive option for having north indian food on a regular basis. This place basically serves as an alternative to bad hostel mess food.I have frequently had curries ordered from this place to accompany with rice or parathas. My personal favourites would be dal makhani and aloo dum kashmiri. All in all,and apt place for students to satisfy their hunger pangs but not meant for day out with family or friends.
Awesome food. Parotas are worth dying for. Lassi is awesome too. Ambience is modest.
Online delivery of food needs improvement in my opinion
Okay food ! not much to crave about.... paneer parantha and thali meals(depends on day)were good !
Pocket friendly!

Amazing dishes!! Thank you for them😊baby corn had an entirely different taste and I loved it!!😁will visit here often from now with family and friends😀
One of the best places to have North Indian food at an affordable price. My personal favourite is kaju paneer masala and baby corn masala. No minimal amount for an order if you want to get food delivered. So keep calm and try Rasoi.

A small hole in the wall kind of place serving decent north Indian fare...this review is based on my visit there almost 8 months back ..
We used to frequent this place because of the homely taste of food (read not too much oil or masala) and the "hostel mess" kind of ambience (loud hindi movie running on the tv with a lot of students staring at it) and inexpensive food.
I have ordered for their Kaju masala and parathas a few times and enjoyed it. Their lassi is top notch and is served ice cold.
I never knew such a place existed at the end of the road ,located on the parallel roads of Banashankari BDA Complex ,this place is like the budget north Indian food paradise ! Even here the seating is a problem ,can accommodate up to a 20 members at max ! The menu is huge ,literally having all the famous North Indian breads and curries on it along with lot of starters ,soups ,rices, etc .
The one thing which I love about this place is their sweet lady which was too good and fresh with rose essence in it ! The masala papad was soo spicy ,it made my eyes and nose drip with water ,even the soup had lots of pepper making my tongue regret of tasting them !
The rotis cost only 8 bucks and we're quite nicely dipped with butter and served ! Tasted the paneer butter masala ,aloo gobi sabzi and veg subzi ,neat and was sufficient in quantity!
Neat little, cozy place tucked away in the area
Price-6/5(I mean it ,coated 800 bucks for 19 guys )
Taste-4/5(That masala papad and soup :-| )
Quality-4/5
Quantity-5/5
Ambience -3/5
Presentation -4/5(I liked it,authentic dhaba style)
Hygiene-4/5
Worth it?- Gem tucked away in BSK BDA Complex area ,could give it a shot ! :)
This is one of the best north fast food restaurants that is available near BDA Complex.
If you really wanna try food in Rasoi, the following is my recommendation:
Bendi Masala, Veg Kadai, Kadai Paneer, Cashew Masala, Kaju Paneer, Paneer DO Pyaza, Veg Do Pyaza.
Under Bread just try Pulkha and nothing else.
Do not try starters or Rice item here.
My Suggestion to hotel owner is: Kindly remove rice and starters from the menu. Keep only Rasoi special as your curry list including Dal. This would definitely get you more liking (Rice and Dal can kept in the menu anyways). He should also take a rain check on the prices!!
Their parcel service is avg, usually takes around 45 mins considering the staff strength.
Foodies - Try the items which I have suggested in the menu and if you do not like those make a reply and will change my review right away!
Phulkas are the best here. Authentic North Indian curries! Thalis are affordable and fill you up! There's a mini, full and special thali. Lassi is good too.
Great value for money.. You can have special thali which will cost you 130 bucks.. Good taste..
In terms of taste.... really homely food. Cramped place ... option of ordering to home or parcelling is definitely worth.
If you're a North Indian and have been wanting to have some home-like food, try this place. Authentic North Indian food for a great price. The place is quite small, however, in terms of taste it is one of the best.
Had ordered a veg thali priced at Rs. 60, which came with 4 rotis and 3 types of sabzi including curd. You will also get a bowl of rice, but you can ask for additional rotis in case you don't want the rice. And of course, the sabzi is unlimited!
Rating on a scale of 1 to 10
Taste: 9
Ambiance: 5
Service: 7
Value for money: 9
P.S. I wish this place was my college canteen :D
Awesome food ! No stomach problems after eating here . Maybe it is a little bit overpriced . If that is brought down , it would be awesome ! :) A good place to have a quick bite for the night or the afternoon
Located near bsk Bda complex you will find this unassuming eatery which serves Great tasting North Indian/ Punjabi food. Feels home made.
Parking is little difficult for 4 wheelers here.
Be aware that it gets very crowded during lunch and dinner times even on weekdays. Weekends are very busy. Approximate wait time is around 20-30 mins.
The paranthas and kulchas are must haves with your favourite curry. The staff and service is very good. They are all mildly spiced. Do try the dal makhani and lassi is must try once's here.
Food here is very delicious😋.... Forgot to take pictures in the urge of eating😂... Its very small, with only 4 tables.... Service is not available, only self service.... Online orders will be more.... They put lot of butter which makes food tastier. Paneer items are highly recommend as they use fresh paneer. You can also get take away. Parking place is not available, we need to park our vehicle roadside
Best place you are searching for North Indian food . This is pure veg restaurant with all the varieties you want , Food is tasty and also service is good , place is little bit small , so take your time and serve food there , food services can be improved much with to get quick food on time
One of the best restaurant. Quality of the food is good. Taste wise super. Rate also very cheep. Restaurant is very clear and service is good
One of the best restaurants I have ever had also I had delicious foods. Clean and hygienic food. Friendly staff. Worth the money.
It’s an amazing restaurant. I literally love the food and environment. here the stuff are very friendly. Do visit this restaurant.
One of the best North Indian Restaurants in BSK 2nd stage with the cheapest pricing. The food is very delicious, all the items in the menu are a must try. You get the most authentic North Indian taste. I especially love the Bindi Fry here. Also you can end with some Lassi or Butter Milk in the end.
Food is really amazing, especially Aloo and Pyaaz parathas. But you need next level of patience because the wait time is nowhere less than 25-30 mins.
Going to this place from past 7 years, same taste and same energy from the restaurant owner. Whenever you wanna eat North Indian food but dont wanna go for fancy place but want the same taste. This place has it.
Food was delicious and they are maintaining good quality and good services 💯
A small place, but a lot to eat. Freshly prepared Authentic North Indian VEGETARIAN dishes with great taste.
Very Good Food and nice ambience. Staffs are friendly and very Kind. Happy place to stay. I will visit once again.
Decent North Indian Food, with less spicy & Oils. Service is quite poor and needed an improvement as per my own experience.
Really yum food... Bhindi fry is must try. Not much seating capacity though. Pocket friendly too.
Light hearted environment, hard working staff, good vegetarian food. Little less spacious. Prices are nominal. Aloo chilly is tasteful and kadhai paneer is a must have.
Amazing home food with a funny twist of old Hindi-dubbed films. A must-go food joint when the budget is tight. The food is prepared to order so it may take some time to come, but it's definitely worth the wait. I recommend the Special Thali, if you have what it takes. Winner's Spotlight: Sweet Lassi
