I have mainly had dinner at captain cook and I must say, AMAZING food. The ambience, the warm welcome by the mentors, the service here is very good. Lots to list my fav here, but the pav bhaji, pulav, rotis, noodles, Chinese bhel, paneer butter masala, pani puri are very delicious. The coffee here has a fresh aroma which will attract the passers by instantly (definitely with Rs 6). Not to forget, the billing system here is very unique and relieves me of the hassle of standing in a queue or digging my wallet for change for every purchase. In all, I loved this place and would want to visit again and again. Captain cook, keep up the good work.!

Only a feedback, I have been visiting this place for years and I always got my friends and family here for quality food..The good part is done... With the location change I guess the MOJO is lost or depleting.. Its like when the pitch is changed to dry to green top.. I guess the key players have been dropped... The Management are good people and they need to look into this and hopefully address it... I am going to give a generous 4 for old times sake..
The place is quite small and can seat about 20-25 people. They have a system of recharging a card and paying using that card in different sections/cuisines. The amount left on that card will be returned to you later after all the spending.
They have South Indian, North Indian, Chats, Chinese and American cuisine all at one place. All the dishes are attractively priced and no compromise is done on the quantity. Among the many items I've tried here, I'll review a few of them. Had the tawa Pulao and Mushroom Manchurian. Both tasted good although I felt like the manchurian was fried too much. Juices are available too.
It's a good effort by them to bring many different cuisines to one small place, but the place lacks advertising and might go unnoticed. Would recommend this pocket friendly place!

Good part of this place is, it has counter basis system.. different cuisine has different counters... Coming to the food taste..its decent.. i visited the place few times but to my alas i found that they dont have the full menu available all the time and the sitting area is also limited.. but a quick bite here will never harm your belly though 😉
Good food court and good taste. Service is also better. But only problem is seating. Make sure to get there early. Budget restaurant and you can enjoy everything. Once try restaurant.

Absolutely amazing. I have been here quite a lot of times. The food from all the counters is really good. Someday we had pav bhaji, someday aloo paratha, Puri, juices. The service is good and hospitality too.
The noodles you get here are the best I've eaten in a long long time... ! Especially butter garlic noodles...

The food has a genuineness in its taste as opposed to such items at other places where all the flavour of the base ingredients is lost due to the excessive oil and masala. We had been to this place yesterday... The Ambience n Service were good... But we had a bad experience over there... Regarding the payment... Here it is in different way... They will give u a card u have to swipe over the counter... First we have to recharge for tht card priorly and then we have to give in particular counters... The scenario was like this we took in three places one in Chinese counter and one in Indian counter and last in juice counter.... They had charged us more amount the calculation was not correct so we enquired with cashier... He was very rude he responded like it's ur mistake u have missed one bill somewhere and come here simply asking us. The cashier name was Mr. Ravi.... We did like his response so we told them to trace the debit record they said they don't have option for tht... We told we have to speak to ur higher authority... Later After 15 mins some person came he said we ll check n get back to u... Give us ur phone no n home address details.... We gave n went back to home... After some time they called us and asked sorry for it n said it might be some system problem in this 3 years it has never happened... They came to our home n returned the remaining amount.... So This was the scene... So Friends whenever u go this restaurant plz recheck the bill n calculate the total whether it is right or not... It might have happened in ur case also....
Must visit place in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Lot of varieties to try. I've visited this place many a times. Chats, Chinese, Sandwiches, Curries etc all are worth trying. Payment method is also good and unique. They even have their own Dessert place to serve Juice, Shakes or Ice cream. Oreo Milkshake is one of the best. Visited many a times n will continue.
Captain Cook Food Court is one of the very few places around this area which will offer you a wide variety of cuisines. They serve Chaats, North Indian cuisine, Chinese, Juices and what not.
But I feel that with the wide variety, they have somewhat lost the taste. My suggestions would be to try out Pav Bhaaji, Chole Bhature and Sandwiches. The North India platter which they serve is below standards and does not taste good at all.
Ambience of Captain Cook is good and I must say, their playlist is amazing! If you love Bollywood songs they will not fail to impress you.

Visited here twice so far and got treated with yummy food. They have varieties of options varying from South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Chats, Juices, Ice Creams and Coffee. Tasted almost all of the cuisines and everything turned out to be really tasty. Looks hygienic too. Most importantly, this is a very rare option for vegetarians and I am glad we have a place like this to satisfy both our taste buds and hunger.

Best place in RR for good affordable food. The food here ranges from chaats to dabelis to burgers to chopsuey. The food tastes quite good as well and the rates are very affordable. I've had the corn and spinach burger (my favourite), paneer cheese frankie, veg chopsuey, bhel puri, sev puri, avocado milkshake and margherita pizza. I've loved all these dishes and go here regularly.

This is the only veg place in RR nagar, where one can visit over and over again. Really love their concept of bringing different varieties inside a single place. The food quality is above average but the humbleness and their constant urge to keep the customer happy is what I love this place for. The only problem with this place is that the space is small and during weekends you have to wait to get a seat. I have tried nearly everything here. And I'm such a frequent visitor of this place that people here know be by my face and name. If you are in RR nagar you must try this place.

I have been visiting this place since it opened, and the vendors inside have changed since then. The concept was a novelty then, which drove new customers into its doors. The first shop on the right is the one I have frequented most often, and the quality has always been above par.
I tried the paneer shezwan grill sandwich, and even though the wait time was long, and the server a bit unprofessional, the taste was top notch for the 90 bucks I paid for it

Captain Cook Food Court is the perfect place for an evening snack. We can't cal this a restaurant but it's tiny place with a few tables which caters multiple varieties of food. As the name suggests, it's a food court. Something similar to our office cafeterias or a food court in a mall where there are multiple shops and we can get any food of our choice and sit.
The payment system here is a bit different from most other restaurants, we need to recharge a card before we dine and the card can be swiped in any of the shops to order any food we want.
The ambience of the place is not much to speak about and it gets pretty crowded during evening times.
I've been here only once and these are the stuff I ate here: paneer manchurian, baby corn manchurian, mushroom pepper, Aloo chilly, butter naan, paneer butter masala and lime soda, all these dishes were fantastic. I was surprised that they all turned out to be good. Four of us had visited the place and we had recharged the card for 1000 Rs and we still had some amount after eating all this. This place gives 100% value for your money.
I would definitely suggest this place for a quick snack or get food delivered. This place is not so apt for a big family dinner or a team outing as the place is cramped up. I would definitely visit this place again.

The place is small, but roomy enough for a tiny crowd. It works on the concept of a card, you put in a certain amount of cash and then use the card at every stall.

There are different food stalls which serve North indian south indian chat chinese etc. Have Tried North Sooper Stall. They serve North indian food. Their paratha are decent served with dal and curd. Chola bhathura was also decent. If you are looking for a pocket friendly and stomach filling place in RR Nagar this is the place for you.
Ofcourse not all stalls are pocket friendly. Juice Stall was menu quiet exhaustive but they were not great. Better stay away.

I am new to RR nagar and had this urge to have gobi Manchurian. I had it in captain cook and it was one of the best Manchurians i have ever had.
The place offers great food for a good price. I loved the pizza here. The ambiance is mediocre but then again the price one pays here is quite low so I have no issue with it. They have a good variety of cuisines and we liked most of what we tried.
Cheap food. Full veg. Dhaba - like ambience and interiors. Self service. Average taste.

RR Nagar finally has a decent place for vegetarians. Being an outsider, it is hard to find hygienic, homely food. Cap'n Cook is a blessing without a disguise :). Good food, attention to detail, personalised care is what you get when you walk in. With the recent addition of home delivery, it just kicks ass!
Though I can say that their chats can improve to an extent, but thats just a north indian being himself - south indian chats just don't cut against a delhi / rajasthani / gujarati chat. Dabeli is a must try.
First thing, what you will notice while entering this place is the ambiance, quick witted ambiance and a nice to be in.I have went to this place many a times now and got time now to review this place.It has a prepaid system, to give cash and get a card after which u can use the card to order stuff.There are separate counters for each section, like for north Indian, south Indian, Chinese, snacks, juices & ice cream.The best things which i have eaten here were - Gobi Manchurian (the best i have eaten in Bangalore), Veg noodles (Good taste), Paranthas (Proper North indian home made paratha), Lassi (Not as thick but still good). Veg choupsey is also decent.What i did not like was Pav Bhaji and Chola Bhatura (considering I have eaten far better in Haldiram's Delhi).The Ice cream's and juices are too economical and give it a shot for some fresh juices.The staff is very friendly and the manager is ready to take the reviews every time we visit.We will be back soon for the Gobi Manchurian :-)

When my family and I first visited this restaurant yesterday, it was a pleasant surprise to say the least. This is my first time seeing a "cash card" concept. Initially, I was worried about it, as this kind of card system usually is interested to lock in your money, and kind of force you to revisit, just to finish the balance amount. Even when the cash counter guy explained that all I needed to do was come back and get the cash at the end of our meal didn't really gel. I cautiously "charged" my card with just the amounts required as and when the item to be ordered was decided.
However, it turned out to be a novel and excellent idea! Since our order was impulse driven, there was no need to keep returning to the cash counter to pay. Next time, I'll know better, and "charge" at one go! :) No hassles, no "balance" issue, as they return your balance money at the end of your visit!
The food was good as well, though going by the reviews, it looks like there's a lot more to come back for! Since my spouse was hankering for some Manchurian, and my son for Pizza and sweet lime juice it was an unconventional order. But we liked all the items.
Considering the closed space, I'd have expected the place to be stifling, but surprisingly it wasn't bad. I hate closed spaces where the air circulation is lousy. This wasn't so, though it could be a tad better to be really comfortable.
Will be visiting again to try out the dabeli (once it is back), and paranthas, tawa pulav as well as the coffee!
While talking to Mr. Balaji about his novel concept, I came to know that he's a food industry specialist. A very interesting conversation with him, as good as the food they serve!

Keep up the good work guys. I would suggest the Owner of this restaurant to get the good with clean handwash system. Which is quite a bit doesnt suit well to the ambience. Food is tasty and in budget . One unique thing is they have got a card system , wherein you would need to add money prior and then go to the respective counter like chats or Chinese and swipe that card there . Don't worry about the remaining amount , they do return it immediately !

Vegetarian only, food is good and tasty!! Billing process is different we have to recharge and get a credit card to buy food there :D but sometimes that's the worst process we would ever have. Instead they could go with traditional billing. Over all its a nice place to hangout.
