With sizeable Tibetan populace in the city , there are considerable Tibetan food options here, mostly in the centre of Bangalore. Many of us crave for a bowl of hot thukpa , or ever popular momos or perhaps an evening snack like shabaley with some delicious butter tea in the pleasant Bangalore eather. Recently my friend , Sanghamitra took me to one of the quaint tibtean place in Koramangla , called the PEACE Restaurant, situated very close to the Jyoti Niwas College. Known for its pocket friendly , authentic tibetan fare , some of the must haves are the Buff Shaptak Dry , Crispy Chilli Potatoes, Sha-Baklap ( Beef or Chicken options) ,Steam Momos, Pork Shaptak Dry and salty Tibetan Yak Butter Tea.
I absolutely loved my visit to Peace restaurant. This is a tiny little joint situated in the buzzing Koramangala 5th block. The interior is pretty simple and gives out a indo-tibetan vibe. The service is pretty good and fast. The seating area is quite small and can get a bit cramped up for space sometimes. We had the Beef fried Momos, Beef Hakka noodles, peace special beef thukpa, schezwan pork fried rice. Have to say that all the dishes were extremely good. Special mention to the Peace special Beef Thukpa... It was unlike anything that I had ever tasted in my life. Overall a fantastic place to sit down with your friends relax and have some good soul food

They have the best laphing and momo.
The thukpa is next level. Love their ema datshi.
Loved their ting momo as well.
Right food suggestion and right accompaniment goes well together. So, always ask for their best and get the best. I always love visiting this place because of their food and most of all the prices are reasonable. Ordered for pork ribs which turns out perfect. And noodles and thukpas are just awesome.

The best thing I found was Lafing and momos. the taste, the aroma and the essence was amazing. You can also purchase Dried chillies. The ambience so peaceful.
Small place in Kormanagala for some Tibetian food. Had ordered the chicken thukpa and chicken sczheuan noodles. Both of them were good. Pricing was also reasonable.

This was my 3rd visit here but this time m little disappoint with there food i order for beef dimsum taste was good but the skin was very thick.chilli garlic noodle was blan and chili pork was very salty.

If you love Thukpa, you should visit this place. We were two people and were craving for some Thukpa so we chanced upon this place in Kormangala 5th Block. It's located opposite to Empire restaurant on the main road. We ordered Veg Thukpa and Veg Momos. Veg Thukpa had generous amount of veggies with properly cooked noodles. It tasted really yummy. We added some red chutney to Thukpa which made it even better. Chutney was spicy and tasted great. Loved their momos but it could have been softer. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

Ordered a plate of chicken shapta and tingmo combo through Zomato meals. Even though there was a option of dry/gravy shapta, there was no way to select it. So, after placing the order, I had to call the restaurant who advised me to go with gravy shapta. The food came neatly packed. However, one tingmo was a one less than the desired quantiry and there was no option to select more while ordering the combo. However, the food taste was very good. Recommended.
Peace has delicacies to satisfy your taste buds through your ups and downs. Think food, think peace. The Schwann non veg mix fried rice fills you up.
Well..... I love this restaurant and I really2 like the food and this is the best pork restaurants in Bangalore I have ever had, to go with the food

Fantastic food. Potato shreds (Alu Sisi as per menu) tastes exactly like what you get in China. Fried rice, Noodles very delicious. Must try.

The beef momos are perfection. Everything else is just okay like every other place. I cannot assert enough on the momos. Call to check if they are available. Don’t go if they’re not

Good food. Yummy momos as any Tibetian place. Try the Tibetian tea which is warm and made of salt and butter, its not to everyone's taste but give it a try. Would recommend this place to all.
I ordered a Special Beef Thukpa and it was very delicious, as I tasted thukpa in few restaurants in Bangalore it was ok but this was spot on !!!

As a vegetarian yourchoices are always limited esp in Tibetian cuisine .I have gone to this place twice and tried both the Fried and normal momos. They are once of the best veg momos you will find in Bangalore.Their dry thupka is also good.Price is affordable.Reducing 1 star because the Service and ambiance is mediocre .
I never tasted tibetan cuisine before, so visited this tiny yet cozy restaurant. We ordered stir fried shredded potatoes, schezwan noodles, chicken starter and chicken momos. The pic I added contains these items. For me among this bunch the shredded potatoes are a stand out coz I never tasted anything like this. The potatoes are shredded into think long pieces which for a second confused me into thinking they are noodles. They tasted amazing.But the star of the place and the item I forgot to take a pic was the Veg Thupka. Its a noodle soup I tasted for the first time and I loved it. I would highly recommend this place.

It's was my fourth time which I come with my lover... We enjoyed spare ribs honey chilly pork, crispy pork thukpa and chicken fried momo, it was amazing and awesome....foods,wish to visit it again...

After long time I tried Tibetan food I order beef chilli gravy with tingmo I love both of them and also order chicken chilli garlic noodle which was not up to the mark....

A place that you should probably be at when your pocket money (students) is running out and you want to gorge on good Tibetan cuisine. The Thukpa is a must try and Pork Shaptak would do good justice to your tastebuds. However their menu is loaded so you might have to think hard before you order your platter. Peace wouldn't be one of the best Tibetan restaurants in Bangalore but for the rates they offer, why would you not want to try?

I love the crispy pork thukpa here. I order it everytime and do visit this place too. I love the dragon momos here tooo. They have a good ambience in 1st floor. Ground floor doesnt have a good place to sit.

This is where I first tried Tiebtan food in Bangalore. Having been fond of Tibetan cuisine since a long time, I absolutely loved this joint. It is a small place, like how the Tibetan food joints generally are. Tried the tingmo, shaptak and beef kothey. They were all great, although I have had softer tingmos at other places later on. 2 of us had a delicious dinner at 450 rupees. That was the best part of it! :)
I have also ordered pork chilly dry and pork shaptak from them later and the pork dishes were awesome.

Visited after almost a decade! Don't even know if the name has changed but the interiors definitely have changed.
One thing that hasn't changed is that i remember how yummy the food was and it continues to be super delicious! This was the place I had my first Thukpa in life and the memory is still fresh. I had to go back to that again and was absolutely delicious! So glad we went there. Will keep going back!
This is one of my favorite place to visit. I love their thukpa and Momo here. Their laphing is a must try. This place is not a very fancy place but a small tiny place which serves you like really amazing food. We tried their ting mo and it went so well with the shapta and the chutney. This is like the go to place if you want a warm bowl full of soupy noodles(thukpa) . It is filled with chicken and veggies and it is very flavourful.
Plus the best part about this place is that it is super cheap. Can you believe you can get a whole meal for 3 and more for just 600, isn't that amazing.
My goodness, this small Tibetan styled eatery is very underrated. The food is superb. And the decor is also very thoughtful. I tried out the Chicken thukpa as well as the Chicken thentuk. Both the dishes have (surprisingly) different style of soup, as well as noodles which was extremely tasty. We got a tingmo which is a kind of bread as well which we used to dip in the soup and was very filling. For drinks I tried out the root beer which is non-alcoholic and complimentary to the spicy flavours. This place looks small but it packed a really good punch and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The quantity is good for one and prices are very reasonable indeed. Parking for 2 wheelers here is not an issue, you can park nearby on Jyoti Nivas college road. Go for it blindly if you are thinking of trying out some Tibetian food.
Well, if you are a hardcore meat lover, should visit this place.

A very cozy place which has got the right amount of flavor for the foods. The place has good value for money and a typically since the seating is quite less there may be a wait but the food is all worth it, the tingmo, and the momos are to die for while the chopseuy and the fried rices with an array of different meats are also noteworthy. An another interesting item would be the "fruit beer" a non alcoholic fruit beverage.
The best place for momos and thukpas. Love the pork ribs here. My favourite place to goto have northest cuisine. They make amazing thukpas and momos and pirk momos are too good. The soup they have with the noodles and the thukpas are amazing. If you ever wanna try northeast food then this is the place. They staff is quick and friendly. I am givin five star for the quality quantity and the amazing taste. This is a must visit place.

A small tibetian joint that serves some epic food. The ambience is not that great and it is very small and can be easily missed. It's right next door to Meghana' s on the JNC road. The service is slow but it's worth for the food.
It is a budget friendly place to have real Tibetan food! Really felt that they use good quality oil and meat!

Fiery food. The red chilli is killer though. Very authentic in flavours. Place is small. Lacks ventilation. It's done up tastefully. Helpful tip : The red chilli powder and noodles and chips are for sale near the billing counter. You can carry the dragon fire chillies home.
