Tucked in a small 700sq feet-ish area bang opp CMR University in Kalyan Nagar, this places serves quick piping hit oriental food. Probably highly frequented by college students during the weekdays.

A rather small joint that serves you pocket friendly Chinese food. Value for money kind off food. This little dumpling house can easily be disregarded as a kind of unfancy. But they serve a good soup like a good bowl of it. The rice and noodles and chicken are also good enough to satiate your appetite.
Must try- tom yup soup, spicy thupka
Starters- Chinese fried chicken, fried wontons
Mains- chili chicken in sczhechuan sauce
And DH fried rice and the DH noodles.
I definitely love this place for a late meal. It's a cozy Chinese place, the kind you see in movies that serve brilliant greasy Chinese. The food tastes extremely nice and the rates are very reasonable. The only thing I had an issue with is the quantity of food. It's a tad too less, but just a tad. But again it's just my craving for leftover Chinese and who doesn't like leftover Chinese.
I have been visiting this place very regularly and they never fail to impress me. Just love their juicy n fresh Chicken Momo, hot n soothing Thukpa and the best is Chinese Fried chicken with sauce

Tom yum veg soup had lots of vegetables and lots of mashroom.. little bit of tangy flavours and perfect for a my type of soup, as I don't like thick soups..
Chicken steam momos how ever I felt it was with the price. The filling was quite good... and juicy and served hot..
It's a little small place have around 10 tables,slightly cosy but average ambience... visit only to enjoy food. I am sure you will like it..
Surprise surprise! This is not a dumpling house! There's only a single kind of momo available!

The place is surprisingly very clean, staff is pleasant.
The chilli babycorn was very good, veg momo was alright, veg noodles is like the typical chowmein which we loved! Reminded us of childhood!
Chicken manchow soup and chicken momo was good too. However, the chicken Nam pao didn't live up to expectations.
This very small restaurant with a humble and minimal ambiance is situated right opposite CMR University (and not CMRIMS as given in the address)
I again tried my favourite dish, that I always order when I go to any outlet that serves Chinese food- Hunan Chicken. I loved it. And the noodles tasted just fine.
But items like Gobi Manchurian and momos, according to me are slightly over priced considering the quantity served.
They can add a little bit more to the décor inside and the entrance can be a little more appealing. It looks quite dull from outside.

I maintain a list of top places to eat in my mind of my fav cuisines like Chinese, Italian, north Indian etc and use zomato to try and see if I can find new restaurants that can make it to my top list and today Chung's dumpling place made it to the top momos and Chinese place. Was their first customer today. Is in a nondescript place where you won't reach without using GPS. Ambiance was average but the food and service was excellent. Ordered chicken momos, chicken hakka noodles and prawn hot garlic sauce. Momos were juicy and had the casting thickness right, noodles were thin and had the right amount of veggies and chicken and the prawns were perfectly cooked. It's a shame they don't home deliver though Swiggy or zomato. But this gives me a reason to get out. The card machine wasn't working, but that could be a temp thing. Net net, go eat here if you love Chinese.
2ND edit - So they are on Swiggy now which means I have eaten twice since my last review and had a mixed experience. Let's get one thing straight, their noodles and fried rice (take any variant) is up there with the best but their chicken main courses haven't lived up to the same league. Not much texture or flavour. The other let down was their lollipops which I had heard were great but turned out okay. Perhaps I need to order what the chef recommends next time.

Highly recomended were the Noodles and Dimsums ..Dimsums were juicy and soft ; noodles won my heart coz they use thin noodles which absorb all the flavour well. Fujian rice was ok ok basically it would taste much better with bamboo shoots and other chinese veggies; but still it wasn't a let down.
One recommendation plz have Card options too for the payments.
Don't come here for ambience, but Don't turn away if you wanna savor your taste buds.
Signature chicken Dumplings and wings are very delicious and at a very kind price.
I went there with 4 friends. The food was extremely nice in both quality and quantity. The rice was well cooked. The presentation was bountiful and mouth watering. I myself ordered a Tom yum thukpa, which ultimately required help from my friends to finish. Must visit if you're here and hungry.
Small place with a limited menu. Usually get takeaway of delivery from here. the food is tasty and very reasonably prices. the noodles were good but I haven't tried their fried rice. the hunan chicken gravy was pretty good too.

Amazing place for your anytime Chinese cravings. They serve authentic Chinese food. It's a small cafe and ambience is nothing wow, but the food is good and some good soft rock music. I have been to this place many times and never disappointed. Do try their chicken lolypop, it's amazing. Recommended.
Very nice food ! Chicken lollypop are crispy, veg momos are very tasty and fried rice was awesome.very pocket friendly and tasty food.The place is little small and don't expect any fancy ambience.
Visited this place after 3 long years! Tried their chicken momos and Chinese chopsuey.. Momos were absolutely delicious, would definitely come back for more! I personally love chopsuey but I didn't really enjoy this one as it was way too crispy and little bland, had a really hard time chewing it! Yet to try their thukpa.. Service is pretty quick.
Went back here again and this time I finally had the spicy thukpa. It was amazing! just the way I wanted it , I couldn get enough it... Perfect for this weather. Also had prawn fujian meal, I loved it.
Situated in the nukkad of our pg, one of the best chinese places. Schezwan noodles are really interesting with spices and perfection. The thing I love the most is chicken lollypop. Truly they are the drums of heaven. A small comforting place with soft rock. Recommended!!
Fantastic food, convenient location, consistent taste over several visits and deliveries. The menu can be improved though, it's a tad bit limited.
I have been a regular here for 3 years now. Thukpa is a must try here . . Noodles and soup all in one . . If you have bad throat or cold . . Thukpa just makes you feel so good 😋 . . Noodles are also very good here . . I just can't get enough of it . .

It is a cute little cozy place. I have been there only once. It was quite clean and tidy. I ordered some soupy veg. noodles(I don't really remember it's name though). It was delicious. Quantity was enough for two people. Pretty decent place:). Value for money definitely !
Thanks zomato for being a great help everytime ! So visited this place yesterday evening as I wasn't keeping well and wanted a spicy Tom Yam soup for my blocked lungs. Small outlet parallel to the busy n crowded lanes of Kalyan nagar was a lil difficult to locate. We immediately ordered a Tom Yam soup n Tom Yam thukpa (based on reviews) and it was worth being there. I was surprised when I saw main land China isn't serving Tom Yam soup. Anyway my dishes were good to taste,in fact based on my precious bad experiences in terms of Chinese cuisine, this was something I was enjoying. Though I feel the soup could have been a lil more tangy n spicy n dimsums with more salt. All in all, quick service, satiated my hunger n. Near &a clean place.
Everything we had here was pretty good and filling! Although the noodles was a little bland- but the ketchup did it good! Ambiance was average, but since we were the only ones there, we had a pretty good time!
Great place! It's my go to spot for some yum rice with toppings. Chung's or Darz( What we call it. ) is a small joint that serves some good food in good portions! The triple schezwan rice and a sweet lime soda to wash it down is what i recommend out of experience. Some really friendly staff adds to the charm.
Amazing place to have Chinese Food. Momos are delicious. One of the best momos in town. I can bet you on that as I am from the place where momos are a delicacy and I know the actual taste of momos and they make it really tasty. Thukpa is great as well. Ambience is decent. Lawrence, the gentleman who runs this restaurant is very humble and always has a smiling face. Service is good overall. I would surely recommend people to try their dishes, esp momos.
I was having a cold nose last night, and wanted to have some soup. I found in this place on my way back home. I ordered chicken soup. It was served really hot, nice texture and taste was good. I also added some dumplings along with the soup. The dumplings tasted regular. I would say the food is a bit overpriced. The ambiance was nice. Its a good place to hang around with friends though, nice soft music to add to your span at this restaurant.
The place apparently is slightly difficult to find; I actually bumped into it accidentally.
One of the only places which have a thupka on their menu.
Have tried their veg and chicken momos, which are really good (aptly so since they call themselves a dumpling house). Would recommend the mix thupka as a must try here. The noodles are pretty standard, well cooked and come in large portions.
Just the one thing that I did not like was the pork chilli here.
I have both been here a few times and ordered home, and the serving time was consistently quick; in fact the amount of time home delivery takes are as good as pizza delivery.
Fell in love with this place back in 2011 and have been regular ever-since. Used to live close-by back then but now am around 25 kms away, doesn't make much if a difference coz whenever a craving for Chinese food gets on to my head, I just get into a trance mode thinking of Chung's Dumpling House n all the heavy traffic becomes invisible. Food is worth every penny you spend there and the best part is that the taste never changes. Try out their Steamed Chicken Momo, Chicken Wings, Chicken Satay and the amazing Veg Manchow Soup for starters and I bet you'd feel in heaven already. I always order the same n end up getting the main course parcelled.. ;)
Last but not the least, they'd always welcome you with a smile n make you feel right at home. :) :)
A Restaurant which can be Describe as Simple and Cute
I have seen the Restaurant growing from a Small 2 Table Joint to Quite a Beautifully Decorated Restaurant, Specially for people living in an around Kammanahalli and Banaswadi...there is no other joint better than this.
Try out the Chicken Fried Rice with any Chicken Main Course and try with Chicken Wings
And the people working there are really Welcoming and Friendly and Good Music.
If you like thupka and would like to sample on some of the most delicious momos in Bangalore, Chung's Dumpling House is the place for you.
Located on the by-lane of Gitanjali Jewels in Kalyan Nagar (yes the same road which leads to the Kalyan Nagar Police Station) Chung's Dumpling House is so nondescript that you might miss it if not careful.
The interiors and ambience are nothing to write home about and if you there earlier than service time you might find preparation being done on one of the tables which are usually used by diners. However the food is just fabulous and probably best suited to the local palate.
As I said at the beginning the thupka is just amazing and there are a variety of choices on the momos. The main course again has most items which one is used to but all put together you will be hard pressed to spend more than 500 bucks for two people as this place is just that affordable.

Exactly what you would expect from a small chinese restaurant, Brilliant food! Food is very nicely customized to suit our indian palates, the Thukpa is something everyone should try. It a soup and a meal in one bowl. Value for money and definitely tastes better than Peking.
The fried rice and gravies are all good with decent portions,
PS: If you like pork, you would need to ask them to add in your mixed fried rice and its awesome!
Quite a pleasant surprise this place is, though quaint, smallish and a bit dark inside, the food is makes up for all that, and after all food is the reason you 'eat' out. We were regulars at other Chinese joints around Kamanahalli, but after New Peking was closed for renovation, we needed to find something to fill the gap, and this place more than made up for it. And now its our regular place (sorry New Peking, you lost out!).
We tried many of the dishes - Chinese fried chicken, Thai Nam Pao, hot garlic and chili and were never disappointed. The portions are fairly sized and the price is budget. At 400 bucks you can have a decent meal for 2. They don't take cards and somehow I can understand why, with the low budget and all, it could be impacting their cash flow quite a bit. Nevertheless a thumbs up to such guys who consistently dish out good tasty food and a fair price, may their tribe increase!

Back in 2010, this place served the best Chinese food at unbelievably low rates, now in 2014, they're still continuing with the tradition. Yes, the prices have gone up, but even the price of a matchbox has doubled, so i'm sure they're doing their best.
The momo has always been one of my all time favorite side dishes, and Chung's does not disappoint. Portions are very fair, for the price and quality of food. Tried pretty much everything on the menu, i'd avoid the pork though, mostly bits of meat attached to larger chunks of fat.
Nice dinky place to have a weekday meal. Wouldn't recommend home delivery for large functions as it's pretty slow and they charge quite the price for "packaging". But, if you prefer semi-authentic Chinese, as opposed to Indianese, you'll definitely become a regular.
Recommended Dish - Chicken in Thai Chili Basil Sauce and of course, the momos.
Was regular during college days name changed but people are same. Go and order crispy potato you will love it. Might be lil difficult to locate but not avoidable.

Great Darjeeling type momos and thupka. We tried the butter garlic prawn and it was super. Try their steamed rice / fried rice with toppings. Very nice. I enjoyed the chilli roast pork immensely. They dont have any pork item on the menu but do serve the same on request.
Good value for money and definitely worth a try. I will go back for sure.
FooooooD !! Amazing food .. Tried out Butter Garlic Prawns Manchurian which was absolute yum !! The chicken dumplings were yummy as well.. Also the chicken Wanton was equally decent.. The best dish for me was Prawns Manchurian ( Must try ) ( Reminded my girl of Golden prawns from Port Blair ) MUST TRY !!!!!!! :)
Ambiance is nice and laid back.. Like mentioned earlier the resto is a little small in size.
