My personal favourite is Chinese choupsey, leefu noodles, chicken lollipop and lat Mai kai.
Superb food. The place is just at a stone's throwaway distance from my house, but interestingly, I never noticed it. May be because of its location at 1st floor. Small and decent restaurant, but food is a smash hit. Really loved everything I ordered. They maintain good hygiene as well.

This place is exactly opposite to my apartment and a great option when I want to eat out but don't want to to get into the traffic.The place is simple however the food is amazing that is what is most wanted for any restaurant.And price point t is so affordable. I have gone past this particular restaurant many times, which is tucked between various shops. Nothing really struck me about it. Until one day, when I my friend was craving for Chinese food and he looked up Shangai Bistro' name. Its a small eating place with around 5-6 tables. The restaurant decor carried a Chinese theme with its lighting and wall paintings.
We looked at the menu and found that the restaurant serves Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines. We ordered chicken leefu noodles, veg ramen noodles and chicken momos. The steamed chicken momo was served with a nice presentation. The chicken pieces and the outer covering were so soft. It was one of the best momos I had. The chicken leefu noodles was medium spicy and had a lot of vegetables. The ramen noodles were actually soupy and I am not exactly a big fan of such noodles.
The quantity served was huge and is enough for two persons. The price is astonishingly cheap too.
To sum it up, this is the BEST Chinese cuisine restaurant in town. Hoping to visit the restaurant again in the near future.
Comparatively a small place with a compact seating arrangement....But the food would do the trick....The restaurant serves a versatile menu revolving around Thai, Mongolian , chinese cuisines and all of it so justice to your taste buds.....The value for money is also high and a dish can be enough for two people..Went to this place with office colleagues for a Friday lunch and ordered variety of food and enjoyed the visit...

I was on the lookout for a a good place that serves Chinese (I'm always looking out for new Chinese restaurants btw). Zomato brought me to Shanghai Bistro. Though it appears small, looks can fool you, it is extremely busy.
I LOVED the food! We'd ordered Crispy Wonton Chicken Soup and boy was it good! The Wontons were stuffed and fried well and served in a flavorful broth brimming with lovely veggies. The Crispy Chicken in Honey Chilli was tasty but a tad bit too dry. We absolutely loved the Chinese Chopsuey which comes with crispy noodles. Though this place may not stand out (we almost drove past it) a visit here will have you coming back for more.
I ordered hot Thai wings anf butter garlic and sch noodles many times from this place. Taste of that wings is amazing. I would like to suggest all to go there and taste food. You will really get amazing food here. Love this place. Love to visit this place

This is one of the highly under-rated Chinese restaurants in the area. I stay close by and is my go-to place. They serve authentic Chinese food thats fresh and soothing.
The place is pretty small but shouldn't be mistaken when it comes to their food. Lee Foo noodles, crab meat soup, Chinese chopsuey, Vietnamese banh bao are some of the dishes I strongly recommend.
The best thing being this place is always consistent when it comes to taste, quantity and quality!! A perfect dineout place for Bangalore' weather 🤗😄😊

I ordered for home delivery one Szechuan chicken fried and Chilli Garlic chicken noodles.
I found the fried rice to be tasty and spicy. The chilli garlic noodles were not that great.

We visited this place yesterday with minimal expectations but out come was fabulous. They satisfied us with their food varieties . They have very good varieties of Chinese as well pan Asian cuisines. We tried the chilli pototo with celery as starter ,taste ,texture , quantity everything was good enough to impress us in the first meal itself. Then we went with the Pattaya fish , the basil- chilli masala was quite refreshing and new for me . We tried one thai rice variety and one chicken oyster sauce dish also. Both were soothy and awesome. In recent times it was one of the best served food for us. The only concern is the location , inside the restaurant everything was perfect but the building which the restaurant is located is not that great. With the difference in taste of each dish ,they impressed us. We were very much satisfied.it may be a underrated place due to the very dull decor and location still they made the hopes alive with the food.

My goto place to fix my noodles craving. We love the flavour of the thin butter garlic noodles. The mixed leefu noodles are excellent. The Thai chilli garlic noodles are alright.
The chicken starters are flavourful. The veg starters are alright, not so gung ho about the mushroom.
The triple schezwan had good rice, noodles and crispy noodles but the sauce was on the sweeter side of the balance.

This is a small place on Hosa Rd, Kasavanahalli. We've been here once but have ordered food from here multiple times. The fried rice, soups, noodles and starters are all nice. The star of the show however is the Vietnamese Banh Bao. Soft, steamy, spongy, yummy, especially so when served with the flavorful sauces. Highly recommended for chinese grub around Sarjapur Rd.

Overall good experience. We ordered chicken man chow soup, chicken lollipops, and ramen chicken. We liked all of them except the soup which wasn’t bad but it was too simple with less flavour. But chicken lollipop and Ramen were very good. Service and staff behaviour were superb. Overall a good experience and would visit again.
This is always my last minute catch whenever hungry. They do serve good chineese as well as Thai food. Taste is good and ok for a usual dinner

I always order Thai chilli fried rice with drums of heaven and it taste yummm but today thought to try something different, ordered shanghai noodles and paneer in manchurian sauce. Paneer tasted like its stale and the noodles were ok ok not so different. The staff are very polite and helpful, immediately they ask for change of dish or something else replace.
This is a small place and average ambience. Best part is there great service. Staffs are very understanding and decent. Starters are average. Main course in lamb and noodles are great. Definitely suggest this place to everyone.

We visited here on a Saturday evening , place was not crowded.But in no time people started pouring in.Luckily we reached there early.The ambience is good ,place is lit up with red lanterns.
We started with chicken manchow soup.Expected it to be a little more spicy.But tasted good.
Then went on with chicken lollipop and chicken momos.Both were a treat to our taste buds.
For main course we ordered ,Shanghai fried rice, leefu noodles (waiter's suggestion) and sliced chicken with coriander and red chilly gravy.The noodles were amazing and we loved it.Fried rice was a bit flavourless we felt .The gravy looked plain in appearance,but yumm when we tasted .
The quantity of the food served was quite good and the price reasonable.Service was great as well.

Loved the quiet and food in this place, a must visit if you like chineese food and want some quality time with your loved ones. Really courteous staff who took care of everything we asked for and suggested very good dishes as it was our first visit here.
Please try the non veg starter - Aromatic chilli chicken with leeks and for main course the thai chilli garlic noodles (a must try BTW!!).

I am a frequent visitor to this place and am a big fan of their food and presentation. sometimes i just go there for soups, have tried n liked most of them but tom kha is among my favorite. the ingredients used in their dishes are exotic, fresh and really worth the money. the place is cosy and may not be suitable for large gatherings. ambiance is very ordinary but their food covers up for everything! even though the place has limited seating but i have always managed to get a table without waiting(call it pure luck). Fusion of Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese etc. gives you a wonderful experience of various flavors of Asia.
this small place can give other upmarket restaurants a big run for their money!

Shanghai Bistro is a wonder restaurant with great chineese and pan-asian food. The ambience of the place is average. But the food served here is really good. Besides the Crispy Chicken in Honey Chilli, all the other dishes were delicious. From i experience their non vegetarian food is good but vegetarian food is even better. Also, the service here is excellent.

Only a couple of dishes in my countless visits to this place have disappointed me. But, that is something which I am sure the restaurant will work on, basis my continuous feedback to them on the same. :)

I had read all the great reviews of this place time and again and was longing to have Chinese from here.Most of the delivery app were not delivering saying restaurant does not deliver to your area.So once we were around this place so I thought my wait woulx end today but oops we reached late and it was already closed.
But today I found out one food delivery app was delivering from them so I was like I am going to have a bon appetite today.this was our First order and we tried to play safe ordering schezwan noodles and chilli garlic noodles,safe because I consider these two varieties of noodles🍝 will be always edible whatever the restaurant standard is.
Packing was average in aluminium foil boxes.
Quantity was huge.one will be sufficient for two people if you are not starving.
Chilli🌶️ garlic noodles tasted decent after adding some sauce and vinegar provided with, though I expected it to be little better.
Schezwan noodle was not upto the mark😔.My husband was complaining of strange smell 🙁yet I had a good quantity of them because I were having noodles after ages.Now I wish I do not have bad stomach.
I felt the lack of vegetables in both the noodles though price and quantity justify that but it will be better if they raise price and the quality of food.

Was looking for something yummy to eat on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Wandering around Sarjapur road, we came across Shanghai Bistro. Located on the 1st floor, it’s a small chinese restaurant with about 8-10 tables. We were greeted with a smile. My craving for chinese never ends. We immediately ordered Veg Tom Yum soup and Dragon Chopsuey. Both were delicious. Chopsuey was near perfect with the right amount of crispiness. 1 chopsuey was good enough for 2 people, which indicates the quantity. We read several reviews while we waited for our food, and so we decided to order a Schezwan noodles because of the reviews we came across it even though we were full. I am glad that we tried the noodles, probably the best schezwan noodles I had eaten in a while, thin noodles without much oil, perfect. Quantity again was a lot so we had to get the remaining packed. Ambience was a little disappointing but the food makes up for it.

Small but decent place for having Chinese, Thai food. Delicious chicken manchow soup. Diced chicken in chilli basil was cooked to perfection and served with fresh parsley. Their butter garlic noodles is a must try. Triple fried Szechuan rice was not what I expected. It had a lot of gravy and not crispy and crunchy at all. Good place for people who love pan Asian food.
Most of the food here is quite good. The double cooked lamb was amazing and the momo sauce they make is by far one of the tastiest I have had. The only reason their food loses a slight rating is because of inconsistency. Occasionally the food is not as good. But I recommend this place for sure especially if you can order home. The ambiance is slightly poor because of how stuffy the place is. The lack of ventilation was a little hard to deal with and they only switched on the a/c once we walked in. But it was worth it for the food. I just prefer to get it home delivered now.
This rating is only for the food I had there. The ambience is a total disappointment. It is a congested little place and the a/c doesn't work either.
We went to this place one Sunday night and were actually let down seeing how small the place is with hardly any ventilation, so it was quite suffocating as well. However, we stayed back because it was too late and we knew all the other places would close by the time we reach.
But Thank God we stayed, because the food is just lip smacking delicious with great value for money. Loved the schezwan noodles. We forgot everything about the ambience while having the food. Will definitely order from this place again.

This place serves good quality food which is value for money. Service is good... But we went on a week day. Also the quantity served of a order is ample. Only the thing that could have been better is seating arrangement....the place is congested and ambience is dark and dull..
It is a MUST GO place if you love authentic Chinese. Easy on pocket. Small but calm place. Staff is very courteous. Best part is while taking orders, they even suggest you few dishes as per your taste bud and trust me, they'll never disappoint you. I have been going there now for almost more than 10-11 months and tried most of their menu, they never fail in surprising me with the wonderful taste and hospitality.

Located on jail road above a toy store is this red haven, if you feel that you have had the best Indian Chinese cuisine, then this place will make you think. Sitting here at the Shanghai Bistro as I write the review. The location of the restaurant has led me to order from here a few times, and finally decided to give the place a visit. Not because the delivery experience was great, quite the opposite in fact - I wanted to see why it's rated high when food I got delivered has been average at best.
Small setting nestled on the second floor, decent ambience - keep in mind they are not trying to be fine fine and the prices reflect that too.
So this time I get to go through the meal courses. The hot & sour soup was good, just the right balance of sour and chilly. Followed by dimsums, which in my honest opinion are probably not better than a lot of street vendors! They are good but I mean come on, if you are going to serve Asian cuisine, get your dimsums right!! On to starters & main course, thee noodles very average (tried the Thai chilly basil) but flavors good in the sauces.
In all, I feel it's wrong to rate Asian cuisine based on delivery since the food deteriorates much fast than other foods (in my opinion). The visit improved my rating to 3.5, against the 2.5 I would have given the place based on delivery. That said, not many decent Asian food options in the vicinity, so I may just be back here for more!
