You want mumbai food in Bangalore.. so this is the place.. mouth watering vada pav they're serving to their customers.. same taste in Bangalore too.. 🔥
Goli vada pav no. 1
Tried their crispy veg roll , it was very nice n tasty but for that price it was not worth it.
But the taste was really good, size of the roll was small and price was quite high for that roll, overall it was okay
Must be one of those outlets where they sell maximum vada pavs n the cheese fingers. Major attribute to the fame is the crowd that turns up here everyday.. With lots of other eateries around all competitors have their good share of customers. The makai palak vada pav and bowring kulfi are the best.
Different flavours of vada pav...same as any other Goli vada pav store...
Not much of good service...taste is the same...
Good for once in a while hangout..
GREAT FOOD AND NOT SO GREAT SERVICE-Â
Food-As the name suggest, Goli specializes in Vada Pav's. Priced at a reasonable Rs. 25, the plain Vada Pav is quite filling; the machine made bun and the sauces made in factories outside Chennai, tastes very traditional and reminds one of the Mumbai Showers (that causes puddles of rain water, which in turn causes the breeding of mosquitoes that bite the s*** out of ya) . Moreover, the best part that makes their Vada Pavs so delectable is that they add a kg of cooking soda, which not only makes the Vada crisp but also chewy (who doesn't want that in their Vadas).Â
Goli  also offers a range of special fusion Vada Pav's , such a cheese and schezwan  Vada Pavs. They are scrumptious and would make Shivaji proud.Â
Service and Ambiance-Â
The service is pathetic and lackadaisical. We got there around 4:45 in the evening and ordered 4 classic Vada Pavs and 2  schezwan Vada Pavs. The food was made quickly, but the service was terrible. They kept on insisting that we go to the counter to collect the food, they just dump the food on a tray, without bothering to get the food to the chairs we were sitting on. They kept on insisting that it was different type of restaurant called "Self-Service Restaurant", but that doesn't mean that they don't serve us food. When we told this to the manager, he tried to convince us that self-service restaurants don't serve you food, while these tricks might work on regular people, seasoned connoisseurs will catch this trick played by the management. If they want to keep their customers, they'll have  to stop cheating their customers by avoiding service.
Overall, I would visit here just for the food and the decor, which remind one of boulangerie in Paris or Toulouse. While the design is inspired by La Caféothèque and Café de la Nouvelle Mairie, the owners have added an Indian twist by painting the walls blue with flashes of Pan Red.
