Loved the ambiance. The place is very conveniently located beside the SHELL petrol-pump. It was our anniversary and we arrived at around 9.30 pm. We ordered Kakori Kabab. The dish was excellent. They gave some achaar before our food arrived and the taste of the achaar(pickle) was stunning. As main course we had a chicken dish and butter naan. It was a heavy day for us and we were already full after these two plates. A much recommended place. Thanks Ebony for opening up in this part of Bangalore

We decided to skip breakfast and instead go with a brunch this Saturday morning.

We parked at the ground level parking just few meters away from the restaurant. The restaurant is on the first floor and has an elevator.

As we entered the mosaic tiled restaurant, we were greeted by the wait staff. While I would have preferred the air conditioned indoor seating my family wanted to sit outside and so we decided to have an alfresco dining experience. At 27deg C outside temperature it turned out to be better than indoor dining.

We were presented with pan Asian, drinks menu and an Indian menu.

For drinks we ordered lassi and rasam. Both were good.

This was followed by fried lotus stem with gun powder (crunchy masala lotus root), dahi ke kebab and shehzada platter(chicken platter).

Lotus stem is something I would avoid next time. Dahi ke kebab were good but were a bit sweet. Shehzada platter was excellent. We had also ordered french fries which could have been a lot better.

This was followed by main course which consisted of cheese garlic naan (not on the menu), dal makhni and veg biryani.

Cheese garlic naan were just fabulous. Biryani was good. Dal makhni was average.

The whole dining experience was great.

The porcelain plates, short stem water glasses on the marble table decorated the table.

We enjoyed our food, with light cool breeze and light Instrumental music.

Though there's a room for improvement in the taste of few of the items mentioned above, but the service, ambience makes up for it.

Overall I would recommend this place and may visit again.

The place has both indoor and outdoor seating with good ambiance. The service is also good, no doubt, but food was little let down.  We ordered Ebony's Ultimate Butter Chicken and Dilliwala Tawa Paneer along with assorted bread.. The taste was okish and the quantity was also less as compared to price. But this is just my opinion , may be others find everything good here.

We had an awesome and very happy experience dining in Ebony, the management was extremely helpful in providing us food recommendations as we had wanted to have not too heavy on stomach lunch, had a chilly garlic noodles and paneer tikka and gulab jamun kofta, must say thr food was prepared with much care according to our speciafications and had rich extravagant taste.
Mr Umapathi the manager there also helped us a lot in organising a birthday party, he took care of the cake and all the decorations and he made our experience unforgettable and legendary.
Hope to visit soon 😇

We conducted an important lunch function for close friends and family a couple of weeks back. The food and services ( thanks mainly to their manager - Umapathi) was brilliantly outstanding ! All our guests loved every single dish (veg and non veg) without exception ! Right from the welcome drink to the starters and the main course, everything was simply superb. Our guests were very impressed with the quality of food, service, and ambience.

Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Umapathi and his team for making our function a grand success. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent place. Visited the place with family on Diwali and it was pretty empty at 1pm. Starts getting crowded post 1.45 or so. Bar menu has only wine and wine based drinks. Kumarakom mocktail we ordered was quite refreshing. We also had the Murgh yakhani shorba which was not bad at all. Kakori kebabs were out of the world and is something you should definitely try. We were extremely confused seeing the multiple options for main course but we finally went with Bohri dabba ghosht. It was a nice mutton curry which was cooked with cheese and macaroni pasta. The Persian bread Taftoon went very nicely along with it. Would definitely revisit this place when my taste buds long for Indian food again :)

Ebony gives you the perfect ambience ,for a romantic candle light dinner . The dishes were perfectly crafted and had a bit twist in the taste . The prawn , the lambs chops are too delicious and the taste still lingers upon . Even though it’s a upbeat Indian restaurant but they do offer pan Asian cuisine .
Service , ambience, and staff were well spoken and well informed.

I am not sure, where should I start with. The atompshere is very welcoming. Mayuri is the Managing Director is damn sweet. The restaurant staff makes you feel very comfortable. Food is delicious. We tried Kakori seekh kebab were just melting in the mouth. I avoid try mutton in restaurant but I should say try lamb chod s was a right choice. Kulfi was just perfect. I am not a wine person but I was recommended Early Dark Wine from France, it just went perfect with my order. It’s a 100% recommended restaurant. Do visit.

When I came in Bangalore in 2005 , nearly 15 years ago , MG road was mostly the hub of culinary scene in the city of Bangalore. Ebony , along with 13th Floor, situated on the top Barton Centre was one of my favourite places during the weekends. Opened in 1993 , this restaurant has been one of pillars of culinary excellence in Bangalore , any old Bangalorean will readily agree with me.

An outlet inspired by colonial times, the age old Bangalore favourite has a dedicated eye for detail, with designs inspired from the 19th century. The ambience is lively and green, overlooking an open area with a gorgeous vertical garden. The food is prepared with time and effort, with an emphasis on the spice profile and flavour. Our favourites in starters included the Kakori Kebab, Dahi ke Kebab and the Arcot Mutton Chops.

We absolutely loved the tangy Brahmin Prawn Curry as well as the Nalli ka Salan.

Our dessert picks for classic lovers would be the Chocolate Moksha but the Coconut Soufflé stole the show.

The wine selection and reinvented cocktails were a delight and we would recommend the mimosa and the white wine mojito

Had been thinking about this place for quite a long time now.. and I could finally make to this place. The ambience is beautiful and I personally liked the outside sitting area. The place serves only wine among drinks and some mocktails. They have a menu for wine mocktails as well. The food menu has a variety. We tried the nonya butter Crunchy prawn(with coconut,Curry leaves and a secret ingredient which will shock u). It is something worth the try . We tried the chicken satay as well. It was okayish but the chutney(groundnut) it is served with is amazing. I personally loved the crispy fillets of fish.
Among the main course we tried their Burmese khaowse(noodles base) which is their signature dish. I loved it. Also the butter chicken there is nice.
The service is amazingly good and every staff there were so generous and kind. All together a good dine out.

Ebony has been a brand for bangalore fine dining options and when it opened in Whitefield I couldn't wait to try them out.

This place has such amazing decor and interior that I just fell for it immediately, be it the cosy lighting, the modern elegant seating or posh flooring.. Everything looks perfect.

The food served here is mainly Indian cuisine from different states with some twist added to the authentic dishes which makes it unique.

I have always loved this place when it was in mg road, and now it has come with another fine dining restaurant on varthur road. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting, i loved the indoor sitting more because of the colonial decor and nice interiors with perfect color matching with walls, table cloth and serving dishes.

The service was also very good, they take great care so that the guests are comfortable and satisfied.

Coming to the food they have amazing spread of north indian, chinese , thai and burmese. Some of the best thing i had were:

1. Paneer tikka : cooked with some amazing flavors.

2. SALONEE BROCOLLI: best dish i had and loved the taste to the core.

3. Khow Suey: just perfect i would surely go here again for this.

4. Dal makhani, paneer tikka masala and malai kofta: loved these to the core amazing taste of all three.

5. Chocolate Moksha: This was just amazing combo with choco lava cake with caramel salted ice cream. perfect bled of flavors.

A must go place with your family or friends or even with your special someone.

Ebony, a casual dining restaurant located in Varthur Main Road, Whitefield.

After successfully satisfying the pallets of customers for over 2 and half decades, Ebony now spreading their wings in Whitefield.

The ambiance is all old school and historic, simple yet elegant. good and light music in the background. Service is fairly quick and the staff is friendly.

The food is unique and scrumptious, very popular North and South Indian cuisine dishes with a twist.

Got an opportunity to try various dishes and following are my absolute favorite.

Salonee broccoli: Broccoli cooked and marinated in mustard, very good flavors and topped with a crunchy layer.

Kakori kebab: A must try, very unique seekh kebab all the way from Kakori. Silky soft marinated lamb seekh, so soft it just melts in the mouth.

Akasaka prawns - Crisp fried tempura prawns with signature sauce, love the presentation

Patiala talli kukkad: A chicken tikka infused with rum, crisp outer layer with amazing flavors

Butter chicken, Ebon'y ultimate - very creamy and flavorsome, will go back only for this.

Khow Suey - They are the once who introduced the concept of Khow-Suey to the people of Bangalore. A broth which is rich in flavors various toppings - customize the way you love it.

Tender Coconut Souffle: one of my favorite desserts, a layer caramelized coconut topped with coconut souffle, caramelized banana.

A place that has marked its existence in Bangalore for more than 2 decades, opens up in Whitefield. Following their theme with a traditional ambience mixed with modern thoughts be it food. More of a colonial ambience, they have amazing Wall paintings portraying Indian buildings etc. An outdoor seating available as well, this gives you an option to enjoy the Bangalore weather.
Some amazing Indian food with a little variation and a their amazing Chinese and Thai, Burmese cusiene helps you relish your stay
***************

WHAT WE HAD

⏭️ GUNPOWDER EGGS - A classic and my favourite dish with eggs mildly fried with gunpowder on top, this was just too good

⏭️ PATIALA TALLI KUKKAD - A dish that will tempt all the Punjabi, with kukkad and daru, yes this is marinated with rum and well cooked to perfection

⏭️ SALONEE BROCOLLI - Crunced with a layer, marinated in mustard and saffron, this was as amazing as it gets. A must have for the vegetarians

⏭️AKASAKA PRAWNS - Prawn tempura, deep fried and well sauced, this was again nice to have.

⏭️ EBONY'S ULTIMATE BUTTER CHICKEN - Per the name, the chicken was actually too good. Not the best but almost ther, they have well cooked the chicken

⏭️ SURTI MALAI KOFTA - Creamy enough enriched with dry fruits, this was one of the recommended dishes here in mains

⏭️ KHOW SUEY - Just perfected and surely one of my favourites in this area now if I want to have Khow Suey. Nailed it completely

⏭️ CHOCOLATE MOKSH - Amazing combo with Choco lava served with a different kind of salted caramel ice cream. Just amazing was finished in no time

I happened to visit this place today for lunch and I must say that I was very impressed by more than one things.

Ambiance: 5/5
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4.5/5

On the first floor, right above Toscano, this place has indoor as well as outdoor sitting space. The outdoor one is in the balcony, has a shed of course and the indoor one has a beautiful colonial setup with that kind of look from the floors to the walls. It was beautiful! I particularly loved the table setup with even the color of napkins being so unique that it added to the decor. Best part was the light instrumental music playing which as per their PAN Indian theme ranged from Kolaveri Di to Duma Dam Mast Kalandar!

The service was great. I must admit that the servers were very attentive, very active and prompt. They actually did quite a good job in making sure that the guests were comfortable.

Coming to the main thing - the FOOD!
Generally when it comes to a PAN Indian Theme, it's often seen that the restaurant ends up screwing one cuisine or the other but this place pulled it off pretty well. Their menu is elaborate but still limited enough to not confuse the guest and or to mess with the quality. Everything we tried was lip smacking. Some things that actually stood out for me were:

1. Akasaka Prawns - Never had a better preparation of Prawns ever in my life!

2. Gunpowder Eggs - Sounds very simple but it was such a crazy dish, loved it!

3. Surti Malai Kofta - Hands down the best Malai Kofta ever! I recommend you this 100%!

4. Bengali Prawn in Mustad Curry - I am not a huge fan of Bengali cuisine but this dish has now made me a fan of Bangla food. Amazing Mustard Gravy with Rice was a heavenly feast!

5. Butter Chicken - Being a Delhite I couldn't have missed this and trust me it did taste like the one I used to have in Delhi, so they did justice to this as well!

6. Khao Suey - This Burmese delicacy is a Must must have here! It's so delicious and served with enough condiments to customize your bowl. Loved it!

7. Chocolate Moksha - A great combo of a Choco Lava Cake served in a cup with Salted Caramel Ice Cream. Decadently delicious!

Overall a great place to go to with Friends, Family or just your partner. Definitely recommended!

After their successful journey for Pan asian cuisine, they have come up with this place more focused on North Indian Cuisine with Ebony style. The ambience is very soothing and beautiful here and it is present just near the main road. So, finding this place is never difficult and parking is not a problem but it is paid parking.

Every dish here has some story attached to it. If you are visiting and wants to know the story behind your dish, I hope the manager/server can help you with.

Vegetarian starters:

Salonee Broccoli - You can never imagine that Broccoli can be this much delicious. Mustard spice with tandoor broccoli went really well together.

Mushroom Galouti Kebabs - Now even vegetarians can taste the incredible Galuti Kebabs. Really loved this one.

Salt n Pepper Lotus stem we're good and crispy too.

Non-vegetarian starters :

Gunpowder eggs - These are fried eggs with gun powder (Andhra chutney powder). This will go with the ongoing perfect season of Bengaluru.

Kakori Kebabs - This is basically minced meat Kebabs which melts in your mouth. You basically don't need teeths for this. I personally don't like this texture of meat so for me it was okay. But if you like and do give it a try.

Patiala Talli Murg - These kebabs have rum in their marination and tasted so tender.

Akasaka Prawns - These tigers prawns were delicious. The coating was flavourful and un-resistable.

Main course :

In the main course, you have to try Nalli Ka Salan with bread/ rice of your choice. It tasted heavenly. The spice, quantity everything was so balanced. If you eat prawns, then do try their Mrs. Palekar Saraswat Prawn Curry. It comes with white rice and salads and it is a complete meal on its own.

Desserts:

Their Tender Coconut Souflfle is a bliss. Loved the caramelised banana on top. If you are a Kulfi fan, do try their Malai Kulfi, it is amazing.

There were many other tempting items in the menu, which a person can not try in one visit. So I am certainly gonna go here next time and try some different items and will surely share my experience again. Until then you try this place and let me know your experience.

Ebony has been around for 26 years and so glad to have the brand open their second one in Whitefield. I’m sure this is a real steal deal and feast for all the whitefield peeps out there. Went down to this place the other day and absolutely enjoyed the food as always. The best thing is that the new ebony is colonial inspired and their menu also has a few colonial inspired dishes from the past. We tried the Tranquil prawns, saloni broccoli, patiala chicken, chole Kulchè, nalli ka Salan which were all outstanding and finger licking good. Please don’t forget to try the legendary Kakori kebabs, Arcot mutton chops and the famous prawn curry that they have in addition to all the others.

EBONY - 26 years of Culinary experience of Bangalore in one Roof

One of the most famous & celebrated restaurants in Bangalore EBONY has come up with their new branch in Whitefield to showcase their flavors & tickle the taste buds.. Been there recently with family for my birthday dinner.. I'm pretty happy that i selected a good place to spend time with my family for dinner.

Located in Miraya Rose , Siddapura - 2nd floor , This newly built place comes with nice decor with a mix of modern & classic touch... Dim lighting just needed to make the place a edgy touch to make it a peaceful lunch/dinner meal for occasions. They do also have open outside seating as well.

#Tomato Drumstick Rasam : Is definitely must recommended. With rains regularly around the city, i thoroughly loved the peppery hot rasam.. #MustTry

#Subz ka Sheekh : Mildly spiced sheekh kebab with lots of veggies in it.. Smooth & delicate.

#Patiala Talli Kukkad : One of the best Chicken Tikkas i had in recent times.. Succulent & juicy.. with lots of spices but doesn't over power at all.. each bite of the meat has its kick of it, esp the outer layer

#Kakori Kebab : Just Meat, nothing else.. lamb grounded to perfection..melts in the mouth

#Haleem with Sheermal : Lucky to be visiting the place when the Ramzan is happening.. tried chicken haleem with sheermal.. accompanied with fried onions, diced ginger n chillies, lemons.. just loved the consistency of the dish.

#Prawns cooked in Mustard curry : Never had this dish, but glad i tried it.. Mustard is not too overpowering as requested.. went well with the bread.. Prawns were big & yumm.

#Bhojpuri Aloo gobi : Loved the flavour of this dish.. Worth giving a try in veg menu... Event though it doesnt look like the normal aloo gobi which i thought... went good with the roti

Desserts :

#Chocolate Moksha : Baked chocolate fondant is served along with caramel ice cream.. served in a cup makes it cuter :)

#Qubani ka Trifle Pudding : Apricot is well used with rice custard.. Mild in sweetnesss

#Tender Coconut Souffle : Not a big fan of coconut in desserts, but this is well made.. grated coocnut layer adds a nice character in this dessert.. must try

Nothing went wrong in my dinner & the service is just on the point.. service staff is courteous and attentive.

Unity in diversity
That’s India in a short sentence
And we Indians surely unite over food
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Coming to Ebony – The indian restaurant , New branch of the popular Mg road outlet is now in whitefield .

At first glance at the menu itself we were impressed by how nicely its curated with dishes from north south west and east with little stories of their signature recipies . Rarely the case in most indian restaurants .
26yrs of expertise by the Ebony people surely reflects in the dishes we sampled .

🔸Must try :

🔹Kakori Kebabs
🔹Mutton Chops
🔹Punjabi Talli Kukkad
🔹Coconut soufflé

🔸Ambience /Décor – Modern Indian , Lush greenery around with large windows surely added a cozy vibe to this palce. We took the table inside but on a good weather day , alfresco seating would be wonderful .

The soothing light teal color dominating the color scheme , very light music in the background and good food surely made it a wonderful Saturday lunch for us .

🔸Food : we decided to try a lot of starters so cannot really recommend much of the main course , but looking at our neighbouring table enjoying their rogan gosh & biryani our mouths did water a bit though the stomach couldn’t handle more food .

Diving straight into the starters , have to say the Non veg dishes we tried were so delicious that many times my eyes closed in bliss .

Kakori kebabs for example , never tried more melt in the mouth mutton dish . So good , A must try

Arcot Mutton Chops – Though we love chops we refrain from ordering in most times , coz the meat is never enough on the bones , never worth the price but at ebony we were happy and how . delicious masala & meaty

Punjabi Talli Kukkad - So well marinated with Punjabi Masala , succulent pieces of Tandoori chicken .

We also tried some veg recipes, they were good but it didn't impress as much as the Non veg dishes but this place deserves a 5 rating because the Non veg dishes were some of the best we have tried .
Like  Paneer Starter - Tiranga Rumani. There different marinations . This was slightly on the sweeter side ,and similar in taste . I personally prefer a bit more spicy.
Also the Dahi ke Kebabs were tad too sweet for my liking but my lunch partner enjoyed it

Don’t forget to order the Murgh Yakni Shorba to wash down the starters , so aromatic and flavourful .

🔸Mains :After so many starters we had little stomach for mains so we ordered saraswat Brahmin fish curry rice , Tangy mildly spiced fish curry made in coconut milk with drumstick add-on . Obviously a delicious option to opt for and very homely.

🔸Desserts We ordered sticky toffee date pudding and coconut soufflé for desserts , Loved the coconut soufflé .

Overall Verdict :

Looking to try varieties of dishes from indian cuisine you should head here .
Also the Ambience is great for a relaxing family outing .
Non veg starters are the highlight

Beautiful setting. Mouth watering dishes. Excellent service.

This newbee at Whitefield (though an established brand in Bangalore) is totally a foodie's paradise. Set on the 1st floor amidst lush green trees and bushes, this place gives you the right vibe the garden City ought to. With elaborate sitting areas both inside and out, the decor and furnishing of this place is absolutely mesmerizing. Specializing in Mughlai cuisine, the place will surely give you a truly royal experience.

Their menu is highly curated and features kebabs from across the borders. We wanted to taste a range of them and on request, we got four varieties of them. The chicken kebabs were divine: char grilled and beautifully marinated, they melted in the mouth. The Arkot lamb chops were exquisite; tangy and spicy, they were just perfect. I enjoyed every bite of it. The kakori kebabs totally melted in the mouth. They were beautifully cooked, one of the best I had in the country and definitely the best I had here in Bangalore. Though I am not at all a veg kebab enthusiast but I throughly enjoyed the minced mushroom kebab. Smokey and earthy, they were an absolute delight. We also had lotus stem fries and they were yum as well.

For the mains, we settled for prawn curry and rice and chicken seekh biryani. The prawn curry was a traditional secret grandma's recipe. Cooked with drumsticks and veggies, the curry was thick as it had the paste of lentils in it. This is a Kelerian delight and I absolutely loved it. Now, coming to the biryani, it was just too good. The kebabs melted in the mouth and perfectly complemented the long grain basmati rice on which it was served. Light and aromatic, the biryani was definitely my favorite.

For dessert, we had in house special tender coconut souffle and qurbani ka trifle. Both these dishes were extremely innovative. The coconut souffle was like a pudding with bits of coconut in it and was served on a bed of grated coconut. It was very tasty and so was the trifle. The qurbani ka meetha surely complemented the layers with which it was served.

Overall, we had a great dining experience. The presentation of the dishes were royal. The service was highly commendable. The people who waited on us were very warm and welcoming. The manager in this place is a very enthusiastic man and his enthusiasm is well reflected among his staff.

Definitely this is one of the best Mughlai places in my city.

I have been a frequent visitor of Ebony located in the Barton Center of M.G.Road. They serve Parsi, Konkan, Arcot & Nawabi cuisines with 26 years of expertise.

Recently, I visited their whitefield branch.

Ambiance:

The decor looks great with subtle colors, blue walls, dark wooden furniture with both indoor & outdoor seating.

Service:

Staff were very courteous and friendly. Service was quick and fast.

Food:

Murgh Yakhni Shorba: Chicken broth infused with Kashmiri spices and enriched with Almond Milk. I never like soups, but this was the best soup I ever had.

Dahi Ka Kebab: Melt in your mouth kebabs of Curd with filling of Paneer and Herbs. They were soft, sweet, tangy and delicious.

Kakori Kebab: Their soft, melt in your mouth texture and the richness of butter will make you drool for more. A must try.

Patiala Talli Kukkad: Tandoor cooked punjabi chicken tikkas with a crispy coating. I usually do not like chicken. But I loved this chicken dish.

Arcot Mutton Chops: Slow Cooked Mutton Chops in a simple Arcot spice mix with generous amount of ghee. It was delicious. The best Mutton Chops I ever had.

Desserts:

House Special Tender Coconut Souffle: Tender Coconut flavored soufflé sweetened with jaggery and a base of roasted grated coconut, with toppings of caramelized bananas. It was not too sweet. It was just perfect.

What more can I say about Ebony that has not been told in the last 26 Years of their glorious existence in Barton Center. It’s A Place Every True Blue Bangalorean Has Visited For The Food & The Views From Barton Center. But I can definitely write to change the misconception that it’s a buffet place that caters with a wide range of popular cuisine with amazing views. It is, but not many people know the legacy of the place specialising in Parsi, Konkan, Arcot & Nawabi Cuisines. Thanks to the chefs, family members and managers who grew up with such amazing cuisine memories & influenced the menu over the years of their association with Ebony.

Their new restaurant Ebony in Whitefield, chooses to celebrate these wide cuisines and celebrating the employees and family members who brought amazing dishes to us, through Ebony.

First, the decor is fabulous, bringing in a old world colonial charm with cement tiles, duck egg white walls, dark teal furniture, amazing bay windows, with a indoor & outdoor seating.

The menu is something to cherish for, simple, rustic & a back story to some of the fabulous dishes that are celebrated here.

Let me jump right into the food, while sipping my Virgin Colada spiked with curry leaves & crushed black pepper [BTW The Drink Was Amazing]

I started off with a yummy Mushroom Galouti Kebabs On A Ulta Tawa Parantha. These Melt In Your Mouth, Smoky, Tangy & Delicious Kebabs were delicious, albeit a little chunky.

My First Time Having Kakori Kebabs And Am Glad I Had It Here In Ebony. Just Fell In Love With These Soft, Melt In Your Hand, Dissolve In Your Mouth Texture, Which Is Something Unheard Of, Even In A Galouti! This Was An Absolute Delight To Have And I Believe Truly This Is How Kakori Kebabs Are Made.

This Unique Patiala Talli Kukkad. This Hot N Spicy Punjabi Tikka spends double time in the tandoor, first time to cook the tender meat through, a second time with a crispy coating for a nice fried chicken layer in the Tandoor without a deep fry. Unique, Crispy, Tasty Tikkas, another must try here

Next I tried the, Arcot Mutton Chops. Beautiful Slow Cooked Triple Mutton Chops in a simple Arcot Mudaliar spice mix, finished off in a tawa with homemade ghee. Bold flavours on lamb, loved every bite of this delicious lamb preparation.

For mains I was recommended The Mudaliar Prawn Pulao. Succulent Prawns Tossed In A Pepper Gravy And Topped With Light Fluffy Flavoursome And Fragrant Rice. The Style Is More Like A Pulao But The Flavour Profile Can Beat Any Biriyani Variant. A Must Try Here At Ebony With The Tomato Thokku Served Alongside.

With very little room for dessert I still braved myself into trying the House Made Tender Coconut Soufflé, a recipe perfected over 22 years. Nice and Firm soufflé With the required Tender Coconut Hit, with a base of jaggery (Palm variant I suppose) and Toasted coconut shards, with a topping of hot caramelised Kerala nendram bananas, I was on tropical paradise heaven, perfecto on a plate.

I can’t recommend this place more, this place celebrates food in its many forms, Course after course serving only delicious food of excellent taste & quality. If you love food just be here and they will wow you with their delightful creations. It would take at least a few visits for me to explore their entire menu & start ordering my favourites, again and again.

This is a new branch of Ebony started at Varthur main road. The interiors are very classic with vintage look and the place seems to be popular already. We tried their Shehzade chicken platter and gun powder eggs for starters along with chicken shorba. The chicken sheek kabab was a stand out . For main we ordered nagore chukka prawns which was juicy and succulent followed by their special butter chicken accompanied by garlic nan. Butter chicken was delicious and nan could have been little more crisper.Good start for a great restaurant who are soon adding Thai menu as well

Nicely laid out, this is a good option for both lunch and dinner. Carrying Ebony's famously eclectic menu, unfortunately the taste is not as consistent. Our starters and main course ranged from indifferent to delicious. The service too was highly person dependent; a couple of the guys serving us were frankly clueless. Overall decent, but a bit disappointing as we have been loyal fans of Ebony for decades now.

First the positives.
I visited here with a bunch of friends, and the food was very good - both veg and non-veg. The meat eaters especially - inspite of being fussy elsewhere - were raving about the quality. The ambience was good, the menus very well designed (the 1-page stories were delightful) and the wait staff were extremely polite and helpful. This restaurant is a fantastic addition to Whitefield.

The negatives.
I'm a vegan and when I asked for options, I was brusquely told that there were no vegan options. Having gone through the menu, I myself mentioned a couple of items that seemed vegan and which later was confirmed to be. You might say that the order taker was not familiar with the term vegan except for 2 things - one, he was the Manager and two, after I started giving some options, he also pitched in with a few. Somehow the rudeness and care-a-damn attitude of this person didn't fit in with the overall experience. There a large number of vegans in this area who will not take this kind of attitude lightly. Another negative was the number of mosquitoes in this place ..since this is a new restaurant, I am assuming that they are doing something about it.

Overall rating - strongly recommend

Went to Ebony for dinner with my family, and came back super happy. We wanted to have a light meal and truly wanted to try out this place as it is new. They’ve got a friendly crew, nice interior and a great menu. We particularly loved the Aloo Gobi - a very nicely spiced and tangy variety of the classic, as compared to the ones in other outlets - and I want to call that out. Am surely going back again to have a full course meal.

Okay so I know I am a bit late, but I am basically jobless so I am just reviewing all the restaurants I've been to in 5 years of my time in Bangalore. This one I've been to in the year 2014 and it was for a birthday treat. We had buffet for about 13 people and the food was great. I remember that the desserts were especially good on that day! Recommended it for lunch parties! Cheers (:

Iconic place in the heart of MG Road for a romantic lunch and dinner date! You'll need to reserve balcony tables in advance for a smooth experience. The staff is friendly and recommends food based on your preferences. Food is great, portions are also good. Surprisingly, I found the food to be moderately priced considering the location and ambiance. Overall, recommend this place to anyone looking for a good and memorable date night or looking to spend some quality time with family and friends.

I love this place! Rooftop restaurant with SUPERB food and amazing views of the city. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! Went there for a business meeting, and got some superb food and drinks. But the view from that top floor, is one of the best you can get in India (and on a warm night, it is magical). Don't miss this place!

Amazing atmosphere but the food taste can be better. The wasabi mushroom did not taste like wasabi, it tasted more like mayonnaise mushroom. The passion mocktail was too sweet. Lasuni palak paneer tasted like normal palak paneer. Over all the food needs improvement else all good.

Amazing ambience, very good quality food, fast service. Been there for a weekend family dinner. Satisfied with the food, price is bit on a higher average side but worth the money we pay. Almost all the dish ordered were outstanding, specialy vegetarian which was surprisingly tastes better then non veg. Location is in the heart of the city, with a very beautiful view. Good for a dinner with family / date, vibes better over weekend. Happy munching 😊✌️

Where do I begin ? This place has an amazing ambience, as we made a reservation for a table overlooking the city and that's the USP of this restaurant. Now coming to the food, the notable mention was the Dahi Ka Kebab and the Som Tam Salad, both of which tasted amazing. The service was good and the seating arrangements was spacious and well managed. The price is slightly on the higher side, but when you come to a place like this, you are not just paying for the food, but also for the ambience it provides, which makes a good choice for having a date or going for a family lunch too. Check this place out for sure.

Excellent view and very courteous staff. The view from 13th floor is something worth visiting for. Food was excellent too and one of the best Biryani I have tasted. Mutton and Chicken dishes are worth a try. There's candle light arrangement and visit during evening is highly recommended. The taste of the food was excellent, however I felt the quantity could have been a bit generous. Google maps may show a wrong U turn if you are coming from Chinnaswamy stadium side and probably you have to take a U turn going forward a bit. Parking is available at basement.
