Nice food with lot of see food verity, nice taste.... Of all fish items including mangalorean dishes.... One of the best hotel which I have tried in Bangalore....

Great place for having boiled rice with fish. Fish is well cooked and the masala has the right spices. Anyone missing mangalorean food, this is the perfect place. The only defect is that if you order only meals, all you get is rice, sambar and rasa or rice and fish gravy.

I was on a late night calorie burning walk when I stumbled onto this place. To be quite honest, I'm very picky when it comes to my fish. My Spidey Senses warned me that despite the shady exteriors of this place, there existed a paradise for aquatic worshippers like me. So with a slight trepidation, I ordered a Bangda Masala Fry. Das cheap it was considering the size. And that taste. Oh my God. I'm hyperventilating as I type this. Spiced to perfection with that thick Masala coating, this was one of those showstoppers that I'll never forget. The spices actually permeate the body of the fish and soften it so much that you just need to run your fingers over it and the fish would crumble. Brilliant
I've also had 2 other mangalorean dishes from here. One being the Chicken Sukka and the other being the Chicken Ghee roast. Both of them are finger lickingly awesome and yeah, both are of the screw the calories kind.
To sum up, screw the ambience and the hygiene. This is one goddamn heaven for seafood hoggers
This is normal hotel with the taste of home made food. Price is very reasonable. Fish fry and fish curry is very nice and even chicken too. Less price with the best food.
I being Mangalorean wanted to try mangalorean dishes. This is the perfect place to try all mangalorean dishes. U get all types of fishes and seafood. Bangda Masala fry is their best item. Bolanjeer(Silver fish) curry is also too good. U also get Bangda(Aile), Bootayi(Matti), Silver fish, Prawns, Crab, Nang, Bondas etc etc.. Sea food lovers must visit. They also have Neer Dosa. Food is too good, perfect mangalorean taste. Price is reasonable(Less costly). Boiled rice and White Rice both served.
Ragi mudde also served(not tried)
Positive: Sea food is too good. 100% Mangalorean taste.
Negative: Ambience is not good. Very small hotel.

I actually landed up in this place serendipitously. I was driving through the Wilson garden main road when there was a sudden heavy downpour and i had to seek a shelter to get away from rain. I ended up getting into this place. I have always had a secret crush on the Karavali food, especially their fish and chicken. So without any iota of hesitation, unmindful of the poor ambiance and below average hygiene, i ordered fish curry rice. It was just awesome to taste. Along with Bangda fry, it was ultimate. And it was very cheap to boot.
So since my first experience i have been to this place couple more times. I have tried their chicken chukka, kori rotti, neer dosa with chicken. And almost all the dishes i tried here didn't disappoint in terms of flavor and taste. This place is a good option to try out non-veg karavalli food, very economical but make compromise on hygiene before you enter.
Bored of eating very common chicken cuisines and ready to imbibe change,if so then head to this place. All types of cuisines,biryani,kori rotti and many more especially fish fries in an exotic mangaluru style will be served here..When it comes to cost it is very pocket friendly and the service is very good.. :)
