I ordered Palak Dal Khichdi and when I received the packet, I was disappointed to start with. Simply because the packing was improper and food spilled over. However, the taste made for it. Khichdi had very authentic taste and quantity was more than sufficient for a single person.
Giving 4 star because of taste and quality. However, would urge restaurant to work on packaging. May be the issue is with zomato rider who did not carry t properly but still it should be looked into. Cheers !

Excellent food. Try Raj Kachori even if u dont like. You will love it for sure. I wonder how do they prepare the curd. Its so smooth and thr flavors! Even stuffed parathas. Mind you, the quantity is huge! Love this place

Well, coming to food.. they have many options in their menu chats, starters, different paratha and roti combos, gravy items and desserts. We order Raj Kachori, Tandoori Roti, Garlic naan and kadai Paneer. Wanted to have Raj Kachori from long time so we ordered. They had put so much sweet chatni and curd in that. Which was giving a sweet taste. Dint like it much. It could have been more better.

We casually noticed this place while coming back from office, It has a great north Indian food.
We ordered Chaat, Sattu paratha, Jalebi and some bhel items and all them had a very decent north Indian taste.
Worth a try if you are in and around Sarjapur area.

Loved the pav bhaji. Nice taste. The bhaji taste gives a homely feel. The bhaji portion could be in a bigger serving though. Golgappas were good too. Parathas were also good and served nicely.
Satisfied with the food and ambience. Kids can go and play at kidsara next door and others can enjoy the food. Taste is home like. Doesn't leave you with a heavy feeling like usually restaurants do. Definitely coming back to this place.

The Meal Story is located in Sarjapur road, near Ozone Evergreens. The place is quite nice. Had gone there for a family dinner. The place is huge and nice. The food was top notch along with the presentation of each item. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Chola Bhatura, Raj Kachori chat, Pani Puri shots, Noodles and paneer chilli combo, aloo pyaaz parata combo. Everthing was perfect. The Pani Puri shots was something new for me. The veg noodles and paneer chilli combo was lipsmacking. Now, I know where to head to for my noodles craving.

Have been to this place many times.This is a casual dining where you get a lot of indian food option.This is also kid friendly as they have a separate play area for kids on another side.coming to the food they are value for money.Some dishes one would like and some you may not.There sattu puri thali is really good also some vegetarian option.I would have ideally given it a 3.5 but based on the price and what they offer I believe they are better than many.keep it up.
This is the best place for North Indian food around haralur road. I have been there for a couple of times. I have tried pani puri shots, puri sabji and parathas. All the dishes were too good. The cost is just on a higher side but that's okay as long as we are getting good quality food.

Great food, parathas are to die for been here couple of times liked their chicken paratha combo. Served with pickle and dal makhani a perfect combination with a cube of butter on top of paratha. Quantity was adequate for one person

One of the best chaat I have had so far in Bangalore! They actually know how to use teekhi and meethi chutney.. m coming back for more of dahi papadi chaat!
The 5 star is for the amazing starters they serve. If you’re looking for spice on the taste buds, just have their tandoori chicken tikka. too good it was! The main course was also decent.

This place is spacious, has good interior. Staff was courteous. This place is kids friendly but unfortunately that area was reserved for a birthday party when we went and ended up running behind my son. so incase you are planning to leave your kids to kid's area, better to check before coming if that is available or not.

Taste was good but quantity of bhaji was very less compared to pav offered.
Today I came across this place when I was looking for some new outlet to try for delivery. And to my surprise my choice was didn't disappoint me. Loved all what I ordered. Phulka, triangle paratha, sattu achari paratha was par excellent. Very soft even though it reached me after some time. Tandoori chicken was the best choice. In curry, try out their mushroom masala.
Am sure of ordering from the meal story very soon. Hopefully they keep up the same quality :)

I find very few places worthy of a review and this place is certainly one. This place is relatively new and doesn't have a big flashy banner, but it definitely has the best home like and finger licking north indian food. Infact the most authentic north indian restaurant in Bangalore. Esp recommendation for aloo tikki chaat, sattu puris and egg butter masalas, etc etc. I hope they keep up the quality in future too.
This place is my current favourite. I eat here almost daily for a month and tried everything in their Menu. Each dish was a delicacy, delicious in taste leaving you on a unmatched high. They delivered supreme quality standards consistently. The staff members are very soft spoken. The ambiance is simple but elegant. I will highly recommend this place for North Indian Cuisines. It's really very special and pocket friendly.

A newly opened restaurant in Sarjapur location which serves great North Indian homely food. Was famished when we reached here and ordered two thalis and one paratha combo. Really loved the Green Veg meal with bhindi combo. Raita was too delicious. Lovely presentation. Although the order took a while since we went on a Sunday but it was worth it as the food is amazing. The staff is really friendly and courtesous. Overall, a great experience. Will surely visit again and try their other combos.
The meal story is a new restaurant on the block. A pretty interesting concept too. They have a big kids play area so that the adults can have a peaceful dinner :D Ambience is amazing especially the AC( See pic attached).

The meal story is a pretty new establishment which serves Delectable Northindian food. It is very close to Wipro, Colombia Asia hospital and sarjapur signal.
It is a decent dine restaurant with good seating capacity. One thing that truly deserve a specific mention is they have a separate area for kids, where they can play. So, if you are paying a visit with your kids, no need to worry about them.
When it comes to food the dishes are truly delicious. We ordered the below
Lassi :
The consistency is soo thick and very tasty. The slight amount of kova added on top of it brings an amazing taste to lassi.
Papdi chat :
Perfectly fried papdi minced in fresh dahi and garnished with pomegranate seeds, cilantro, sev etc. It is a delicious snack which could have at any time.
Aloo tikki :
Aloo tikki is wonderfully sautéed to the golden perfection and minced in dahi which is delicious.
Methi roti with butter chicken and paneer butter masala :
The meti roti is less oily and more tasty. Butter chicken and paneer butter masala are perfectly cooked with balanced flavours and is a great combination with roti.
Mixed veg paratha and Paneer paratha :
Both are Parathas are perfectly fried to brown. The achaar and dahi served are fresh and tasty. If you want to experience mixed flavours, I would like to suggest you to opt mixed paratha. Mixed veg paratha is my favourite of all Parathas served overthere.
Paneer veg pulao :
A perfect rice dish loaded with fresh and tender paneer, ghee, cashewnuts, cinnamon cardmon and other condiments. The pulao is less oily and rich in terms of taste and ingredients. I felt the salt was a bit less, rest everything was perfect.
Paneer Finger fry :
This dish could be a great starter to start your meal with. The fresh paneer is fried and served with red sauce and green chutney. Red sauce is absolutely perfect in terms of taste compare to green chutney.
Dal tadka :
It is a decent dal curry with tadka which goes really well with rice. This dish is not soo spicy and the condiments used in tadka brought a tongue friendly flavour.
Pav bhaji :
The pav is fluffy and buttery. It will melt in your mouth with the curry served. This is a must try!
Mutter poori with chole :
The poori is a oil free, medium in size and stuffed with mutter. The chole will blow your mind with it's punch of flavours infused in it.
Rabdi with Jalebi :
No doubt it's a great combination of all time. The rabdi is moderately thick served with crunchy Jalebi. It is a perfect dessert to end your meal with.
In a gross manner, l liked both their service, food and also Ambience. This restaurant is a right place if you are willing to have a delicious north indian meal 🍴.
We had recently visited the place for dinner. Tried some veg and nonveg starter and later main course. What I like best was the quality of ingradients used like paneer, mushroom etc. All seems very fresh. Taste wise starters were very good. Now come to main course, i felt the taste of veg gravy items were not as it sud be. They need to review the recipe again. But it was not bad. We tried tabdoori roti, naan etc and I feel it was quite good. Regarding ambience, it felt like cafeteria.So nothing great. Now cost wise it was little higher side but they serve a good quantity so it worth.I think 3.8 sud be good.

Amazing parathas and north indian food. Service is good and decor is very simple. Family friendly place and best to go with kids. There is a kids party/play area attached to the restaurant and kids can utilize the facility while parents enjoy the food. Definitely try the chai and lassi.

I love the place. Food is very good. Open kitchen. And they have separate children play area. My kids enjoyed every time we go and we can eat peacefully because kids are playing on their own. They have one lady in play area who takes care of children. Must visit.
Great tasting food, and friendly service. For parents with children, there is a kids play area right across. Though you may have to check whether the play area has been reserved for a party before visiting. If you have to nitpick, per head cost would be in the range of 300 to 400.
