Cheap beer and good food! If you are a female get ready to be stared by the waiters. Love the cheese cherry and pineapple.
Avoid their wine though!
Famous Noon Wines. A Bangalore institution. Heard so much about it. Tried today. Awesome wine if you like home brewed style not too sharp tasting wine. This was just right taste n kick. It was easy to keep drinking it...like juice, so better watch out.
Food items are basically just finger food. All good if you like old fashioned pub food. We had the egg ginger and egg chilli semi gravy style. Pineapple cheese on repeat. Paneer pepper and onion pakoda. Went well with the wine. Not crowded, so great place to go with a gang, downing multiple small or large glasses of wine over weekend catch up.
I visit this place when my budget is too low.
It's good if you sit outside.
Good beer.
Snacks is okay.
You dont get food here there is only snacks.
Food 3.5/5
Ambience 3/5
Service 5/5
Cost for two would be INR 500
This one is very easy to miss place sandwiched between the two Truffles outlets in St. Marks Road. A casual bar with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements with dedicated smoking room and live screening. The best thing about the place is the value for money it offers on the limited food items that it serves. Liquor wise one can get only draught beer (mug, picther and tower) and wine. Side and finger items include french fries, peanuts, chicken sides etc.
Overall this is the go to place if you are in the neighborhood and want to grab some beer with someone's company that will not pinch a hole in your pocket. Where else in the neighbouring areas, or may be even in Bangalore can you expect to get peanut masala and french fries within 100 bucks. Although the outlet is small and offers very little varieties of food items it doesn't compromise on the quality nor the quantity.

This is a legendary place on st mark's road, i regular here from 2005 and happen to visit this place and realised I hadn't posted a review on Zomato all this while, the place has been upgraded to a huge extent compared 2005. People unfortunately compare it to bars from recent times which is wrong, the beer is fentsatic and the red wine which is a port wine is to die for and one of the best you get in Bangalore (keeps you buzzing for a while) the snacks are just that to keep you not getting hungry while you get drunk. I personally love noon wines. All the waiter's recognise me even though I don't frequent as much as I used to back in the time. Recommend this place to old bangaloroans and poeple who appreciate nostalgia.
It's a cosy little place hidden in the Nook of St road.
We had pineapple cherry cheese to accompany our lovely glasses of wine which I assure you was a remarkable combo. The wine is made in house and tastes surreal. For all the wine lovers this place is a go to......
The wine is amazing here. The prices are way cheap. You mostly get finger food here and the taste is pretty decent. Should definitely try the wine they offer. The place is pretty small and cosy.
This is a great place for drinking wine and chilling with friends. We ordered plenty of chicken dishes to complement our beer.
We ordered their homemade wine which had a nice sweet flavour. The Cheese Cherry Pineapple was the icing on the cake which complemented the wine beautifully. A must visit in Bangalore !
Wine with cheese and pineapple had been the best and my favourite when I visit here. Place has been there for years now . Parking becomes an issue though. Go with least expectations otherwise
I'm a traveller I have been in 19 Countries in Asia
I had several times to most of the pubs in bengaluru
Scottish pub one of the best pub in my experience
Highly recommended
Food quality is good
On Reasonable prices
Service is good
A really quiet place to hang-out with your peeps. Perfect to have some quality Red Wine. Real pocket-friendly joint with above average sides as well.
Ordered Shredded Chicken and Garlic Chicken, both exceeded expectations without making a dent in the pocket.
The staff was very polite and they seemed like they care about their customers which, I believe is a huge factor of customer retention.
The wine you get here is astounding! Amazing it is!
Pineapple-cherry-cheese makes you drool!
Cozy place without much of crowd + old tracks.
I’d say it’s the best for wine in Bangalore.
Great place. Kept it simple and beer is not so expensive. Food was good as well. Go-to place if you want to have a quick drink but not burn a hole in your wallet.
Economical place to hangout with friends nothing fancy about the place . Its a cheap place in quite a posh area . Food was good , drinks cheap and friendly staff overall a good place to hangout.

Had so much fun drinking here. Not crowded cuz it's like the cheap bar next door.
Staff is cordial and the food is also pretty goodwe had draught beer and finger food.
Can so chill here. Gives the Bangalore laid back vibes.
This is a small establishment situated just beside Truffles. There's not much to say about the ambience. This place is not actually a pub but gives an old bar feel.
Coming to the drinks, there are only 2 drinks available I.e wine and beer ( comes in small and large size). We ordered wine along corn masala dish. The wine was just awesome. It had a nice flavour as well as the strongness of the wine is commendable. Corn masala was just okay. This pub is quite pocket-friendly.
Must visit place to have their signature wines.
Nice place to hang out in a busy area.. This is an old place.. love the wine here.. n not to forget cherry cheese pineapple.. and d chicken pakora..
Writing this review only because I found a souvenir from almost 7 yrs when I visited this place. It was really tiny place back then with basic plastic chairs. But it served good wine and cheese cherry pineapple.
Absolutely no frills, no ambience, a lil dingy that it adds a weird charm you the place. There wasn't a crowd to write about either but the place served us well.

This is a quiet pub! No loud deafening music here. The house wine is also pretty good. They seem to know their crowd.
......................
Not sure if this is open now with the 500 meter rule. Nothing much to speak of the ambience or about the menu. No frills pub. But if you are the kind who loves to guzzle beer, with fries or cheese cherry pineapple or egg pakoda or cheeselings or the chicken minus the ruckus of a typical pub with loud music, visit this place. Wasn't sure yesterday ..this place is open and most tables occupied. Ambience has improved.
Tiny place. Funny chairs. Old colonial set-up. A white horse on the cash counter, just sitting there drives you crazy. Sweet wine. Will want more of it once you taste it. Good food. Rock music. No noise of st marks can enter the place. Once you enter, you are set for the day.
Been here a couple of times over the last 3 years and just realized I had not checked in and added a review.
A cozy place amongst the bustling St.Marks road, next to Truffles. This place has had a recent revamp in their ambience outside and looks dandy.
Good service, nice food and over all doesn't (did not) burn the wallet.
Nice place to hangout, catching up with friends and gonna be the office teams adda. 🙃
This is a small place right next to Truffles on St. Marks Road. Also known as Noon Wines
They serve only Red Wine and Beer
Must try : Red wine with Cherry Cheese Pineapple! The wine is on the sweeter side and it's very tough to stop with only one. You get nice sides as well.
A small and nice place to chill with friends
It's one of my favourite places to have beer which goes well with masala peanuts. Cheese cherry pineapple also complements the house wine well. Its very close to brigade road which is an added advantage for weekend shoppers.
Affordable. Best word that suits.
Only beer and wine available. The starters are good and great deal when it comes to VFM.
Nice peaceful place as I went twice during weekdays.
Excellent pub. Very much reasonable. I had been there so many times. Staff are very good. Dishes like egg pakoda, egg chilly, chicken Manchurian are very tasty.
The best value for money pub on St. marks Road. It is a lovely place to hang out in the afternoon and catch up on a couple of beers.
The staff are extremely friendly and service is quick.
During my first visit I had a hard time finding this place because it's a tiny one. It's just beside the Truffles on the St Mark's Road but a little hard to notice. Truffles is usually pretty crowded with people queueing outside the restaurant which makes it even more difficult to spot/find this little place. Once you are inside it, you'll find it a bit shady and cozy. A very pocket-friendly place, it is popular because of it's home grown wine. You get beer too but only kingfisher. People usually throng this place for their wine, the finger food is bonus. Food is average and the seating isn't that comfortable but still this is a popular joint. You can't smoke inside. Service is just about okay. I've been going there for quite a while now and I like it because there's a certain charm in the ambience created by the wine and the coziness. The pineapple-cheese-cherry is the best starter that goes well with the wine. The wine is red in color and sweet to taste. They have music playing but that's not something you would want to notice much. The ideal itinerary is to drink a few glasses of wine there and then switch to Truffles for the main course.
This place is so calm and relaxed environment, grab a drink and some food. Brilliant place. Pocket friendly, tasty food, melow ambience and good service.
Taste-8/10 Ambience-8.5/10 Price-8/10
The most amazing red wine you can ever have is here.. They serve it out of the tap. Food is average. Ambience is also ok. But the wine here is fabulous
A quirky little bar with cheap beer and an interesting wine! Our international meet up group enjoyed the evening with some very tasty food and attentive service. only wish the seats weren't screwed down as it was difficult for 10 of us to chat since we were all spread out! It may not be the poshest of bars but that's what makes it!!!
This is a Bangalore institution. A shining beacon of oddity in the bar experience. There is literally no place remotely close to anything like this.
Small menu. Cheap. Weird. Thoroughly gratifying.
Don't expect the highest quality ambience or superb taste experience. Expect the basics and be blown away.
I always end up ordering the peanuts, egg pakoda, garlic chicken and you MUST MUST MUST try the cheese-pineapple-cherry with their wine. I mean there's no other real reason to try this place. The wine is more like fermented grape syrup and less like the bottled stuff. It's different, it's weird, It's just brilliant.
Here is my all time favourite pub😄 "Scottish pub " place were you can spend quality time with friends with good finger food n glass of oops pitcher 😄😄
I absolutely love their Red Wine and Garlic chicken. Though the ambience is nothing great but the with wine and food make up for it. I could spend hours together drinking wine and chatting with friends. One of my favourite places in Bangalore!
An amazing place for wine lovers. The place might be a bit shady but you ll just ignore it once you taste the wine. And also the pineapple cheese is a must to have along with the wine. Cant wait to go there again.
The good old Scottish pub..this place has so many memories to talk about...the service continues to remain the same..the perfect place for pre-party session..they have mind blowing pakodas, vadas and offcourse the wine
This is one place which you should npt judge by the get up...they serve
Wine and an amazing quality of wine...they have beer...the food menu do
Not offer a wide range but whatever they serve is good...the masala corn was nice :) the service is good...will surely come back to This place
Scottish pub also popularly known as Noon wines is a small where they the best Draught beer and wine you only get wine and beer and a small menu which is worth trying it is the most pocket friendly place in bangalore I'm proud to say I have been boozing in Noon wines when a picture of
Beer was 55₹ it's an old place for a true
Bangalore culture
A gem in the right place. Diluted beer, but cheap.. So, you end up spending more time together to get decently high. Perfect for a midweek beer catch up with the office batch. Won't hurt your pocket at all. Try all of their snack options, you will know why I'm saying! Happy drinking!
Located next to Truffles, this place is good and safe. Cheap and Best place to enjoy a mug of chilled beer.
Appears as a small outlet in the corner of St.marks road. Has a party hall and garden with good seating arrangement. Good wine and food. Great place to hang around with friends
I'm rare on Pub visits been here about couple of months back. Best thing is about the outdoor seating and open place visible to street. I love the beer that was served and had ordered Non veg platter which was worth the price and quantity. Definitely a must visit and recommended too.
This place is located at a small corner of St. Marks Road. And it might seem to be a dingy place but....dont go on the looks of it....! Its an awesome place to be at with the lovely wine that they serve. I have never ever had that kind of good quality wine in my life. Food menu is limited but what ever they serve is good to taste. The staff is friendly too. It is a must go !!!! Kudos..
Talk about never judging a book by its cover. The ambience of this place is dull, unimpressive, depressing and all the other synonyms. The seating arrangement is cramped ( try the one outside). However, the wine, omg the wine .......( writer has gone in to a temporary coma ).
It's at par with the international brands, but its sweeter , less viscous and has no tears. It tastes almost like a cocktail or a juice ( God , I hope they didn't serve me vodka and grape juice) . An unique thing about this place is that they give you a limited amount of Drinks ( PS, writer was unable to steal some for her home).
The dishes were good and served piping hot.
Overall experience: all the stars in the galaxy
Will I go there again ? Yes, obviously, I will keep going until my liver rots.
It has good ambience a very nice place to hangout with friends a bit light on the pocket ! But food was under par for me , lack of quantity ! For students I feel it's a very nice place to look into , especially since it's pocket friendly and you always have good company! So I'd recommend it for students..
The place is very small , the noon wine was awsum . The price is resonable , the starters are taztey. I think its a best place wen its end f the month ... Ronak Nirvana.
This is one of the oldest hangouts of our gang. Again a place where I have not got a chance to taste their full course meal. If you are anywhere close to Church street, Lavelle or MG maybe this is the cheapest place to grab a quick beer with short eats.
Maintained the same charm from the time I can remember definitely a place to try. I frequent this place even now and for sure will continue doing it. Never had any complaints, it is a total no frills pub and do not miss a match be it football/tennis or cricket. The atmosphere here is too good to miss

One pocket friendly budget oriented place to have a chilled beer and must try is a chicken majestic... Nice hangout on budget basis in the city center
Quite pocket friendly place with good ambiance. But it was packed area in weekend difficult to get seats
For the veggies cheese pineapple cherry squares, peanut masala and chilly egg too good to accompanied with wine and beer. Wine Taste was good quite more sweet though and I haven’t tried the beer according to my folks its good Kingfisher draught beer.
Being stuck between a financial crisis and wish for a nice beer, this is the only place I could think of... Beer is at happy hour price all day @300(tax free) for pitcher n snacks for nominal rates but nothing great n ambience is not dat pleasing too bt den u ll b happy wid da price on da other hand. Enjoy:)
If all you want to do is catch up with friends and just hang out with beers and finger food. If food is secondary and not the main agenda. If you don't care where you are as long as you have company. For all the times when you want to just find a place to hang around post your exquisite luncheons n stuff, get to Scottish. One beer, one wine, some finger food n loads of time. Keep your expectations tight n right. Here there is no ambience or food or people, its all about you, your friends, some beer or wine and loads of chit chat
Ok Scottish pub probably doesn't deserve a 3.5 but what can I say.. im biased towards them.
Ive lost count of the number of times I've been here, watched many a football and cricket match.. enjoyed the company of friends and made friends with the servers. The thing I truly appreciate about noon wines is the service which I absolutely love.
I've pretty much eaten everything on their menu, the standards are chinese veg pakoda, chicken pakoda and cheese pineapple cherry. The chicken pakoda is my favourite and its gets devoured within seconds of hitting our table. The lemon and garlic chicken are made really well too and compliment the beer.
The beer here is always fresh and crisp, wine is dangerous. .. first timers.. dont have more than two glasses..
It might look like a dinghy alley serving beer, but I'll still go there on a day when im craving a nice chilled beer.
Not bad all. Though over the years the regulars have ceased frequenting this place, it some what retains its charm. Light but good beer, wine isn't so bad as long as had in limited quantity. The chicken dishes are great. The drawback is smokers will have to step outside to the sidewalk everytime they want to smoke.
Good service. Economical also.
This place is also known as noon wines they have some amazing wine which is very reasonable like a month end place to hangout with freiends. Yummy must try chips masala which is not on the menu though.:) chicken pakoda which is good. a nice outdoor ambience going with a group more than 4/5 is great and indoor ambiance is not too shady. For the veggies chesse pineapple cherry squares, peanut masala and chilly agg too good to accompanied with wine though i havnt tried the beer according to my folks its good Kingfisher draught beer.
Good chilli chicken, chicken pakoda. And amazing home made wine which gets most people buzzing soon.
Noon Wine has been my all time favorite in Bengaluru (from past 3 yrs) The wine is unique, delicious and totally worth the price (which btw is pretty affordable).. I never returned without having Peanut Masala and Chilli Chicken.. People are cordial and welcoming.. Must try for those who think wine is not for them!! (they brew the wine in the premises and have no other outlet)
just three large glasses of wine can really get most ppl buzzing. food is avg but try the chicken pakoda
Went to this pub after almost 10 years, still the same ambience. It’s a typical old time place the service is good the beer is from Kingfisher so it’s great too.
A truly value for money place , if you want to spend time with friends and have a good chat this is the place you can choose.
We enjoyed the famous green peas pepper dry fry and the egg pakora, they were yum.
Do enjoy your time here if you like a calm place for a beer 🍺 and on St.Marks road.
Cheers 🍻 .
This is such a lovely lovely place. Cosy and Comfortable! Good Vibes! Coming back here again! Try their Noon Wine! It's amazing!
Located in the most happening place of Bangalore at St. Marks Road, this is the 2nd oldest Pub in the city. They serve refreshing cocktails, hard drinks and Beer on Tap. The Gin and Rum based cocktails are really good.Vibe of this place carries a tinge of yester years along with modern charm.
In food, Loaded Veg Nachos steals the show, a perfect food any day. Veg Pasta, Vada and Paneer Manchurian were really decent in taste and serving.
They also serve Beer on tap along with all bottled Beers, making it a complete place for alcohol.
They have availability of parking and the place is easily accessible as it's near the Metro station
This place is fairly new or remodeled with amazing ambience. The food and bar menu has a variety of options. They have separate sections for smoking and non-smoking customers. Plenty of seating. The place was almost empty when I visited the pub. Try out the burgers with sides of potato chips and salad.
Good to see you guys are back in action, visiting here Scottish Pub, since 20y. All the best 👍
We sat at the bar and loved the in-house cocktails. Food was pretty decent. Best for hanging out with friends and colleagues.
We have been to the Scottish Pub with my colleagues
Good staff, they treated us very well, they served us lots of starters, beer, whisky main course, etc.,
Good place to hang out

One of best pubs to sit and talk for long. A must visit for a gang/singles or gang of singles.
Pros:
Smoking is not open. (The same can be negative for smokers)
Cheaper than anything you get anywhere.
Quality is never compromised.
Amicable service.
Dimly lit.
You will get the best tower here.
Side-dish variety is more.
Red wine is at its best.
Cons:
Space is small though it has its privacy.
has good ambience a nice place to hangout with friends a bit light on pocket food was great for me , I feel it's a very nice place to look into , especially since it's pocket friendly and you always have good company! Friendly environment

The pizza is really good and the ambience of the place is very nice.
It is very delicious spicy food and great wines here.... Very nice place to take with...
Excellent food and Atmosphere and prices too .location is great too.
Beat place to hang out with friends. Reasonable rates. Ambience is OK. Attraction is free fish spa. Will get only starter's in food items.
Scarcely crowded , the place is old enough to order it's own booze, looks 4-times as old. Booze is cheap at Rs.60 a mug. Finger food too is pocket friendly.
