Coming from the stable of Local and Jimis, this place had a lot of expectations to live upto even before I entered.I was more than impressed with the pretty extensive food options ( especially the pizza range...highly recommended). Loved all the food options and the superbly priced drinks ( did not expect anything different). GB has a lovely ambience and great service. Been there a couple of times already and will definitely be going back
It's a great place to relax and kick back with friends and colleagues.Amazing Pizzas and drinks at pocket-friendly rates.The fact that it was Jimis for a long time is a definite Nostalgia factor.All in all, a cool hangout spot.Don't miss out!!

We all remember the evil Villian Grodd from our time in the DC Universe! Even Flash, the fastest man alive, doesn't like him.
Plattershare had invited us for a tasting session and we loved the experience (minus the Grodd experience - that's who came to mind when we visited Gorilla Barfare in the busy streets of Koramangala on a Sunday evening).
We had a session on Cocktails, taken by Saswati Behera and a Fruit Dessert Pizza by SaiPriya.
The Food and the Drinks here are quite good.
We had the Margherita Slush and the Irish Coffee Slush, quite unique to this place.
Their wood-fired Pizza had an out-of-the-world experience.

Coming to the food we tried the
1) tossed sausages: stir fried with Indian touch, this is one of the must try out here.very well done dish
2) pepper beef: not exactly done the Kerala way, but not bad at all.
3) pizzas: loved their wood fire pizzas, I tried the greca and it was done so well. Lovely toppings ,generous amount of cheese and served hot!!!
The service was awesome as well, waiters were very attentive to the crowd.
PS: they have beer pitcher priced at 350/ from 11-7 pm.

This place is new I guess and I tried it last Friday! It has great ambience, a good vibe , the bar is really full! I mean it has all possible types of alcohol. Pizzas are really good, specially thin crust. Fried momos is another thing that can be tried. It was really tasty.
The disappointing thing was that we couldn't eat anything from tandoor coz they said it would take time and even when we told it's ok, they weren't that keen on making it I guess coz I it was quiet that time may be. Also, not much variety with respect to food, a very selective menu! For wine lovers, not much option actually. They first said no for wine if we want zomato gold to be applied which we didn't quite get but then he agreed later when we asked why and all.
I am definitely visiting this place once more to try more food items ! :) Overall, for sure a one time visit!

I have a special spot for this place in my heart. I can stay here by myself and the staff is so courteous. They take special care for people who are here quite often but that does not hold them back on service and quality for any new person who visits this place. The food is good and liquor too. Special mention to the owner and staff who make sure they spend extra 2 minutes to engage with you if you are alone. Of you love old school bars with good music then this the place to be at.

Let me begin by saying how underrated this cosy this pub is. The pizza is one of the best in the town, wood fired and fresh ingredients is what makes it so succulent. The servers were so helpful and patient with us that we were kinda taken aback by their behaviour. In all, just loved this place and the vibe and obviously every other food item.
Tip: try shrooms pizza and crispy corn.
Ambience is good. Went in the afternoon so can't really judge the entire service and environment. However, draught beer is nice...chilled enough to give you a good time. Food is not that great. Ordered beefy fries: was too dry and unnecessarily loaded with solid cheese. Stuffed garlic bread wasn't upto the mark either. The cheese is what took away all the flavour I guess. So, a note to the management: please change your cheese quality :p
This was earlier jimmy's and is located right in front of the koramangala bus depot. Cocktail (LIIT) was good;the food menu could have been better. Overall a nice place to hangout over drinks

Was here with friends on Saturday to have a good amount of drinks with food without putting too much stress on wallet.
Place has 2 seating areas(outdoor and indoor), we sat inside so that we can watch football match there.
Service was quick, maybe because the place was not fully occupied but nevertheless we enjoyed getting orders served in time.
Coming to food, their menu has good finger food options and if you are coming here for drinks then you would enjoy sour cream and salsa fries, loaded chicken fries and fried momos.
They have wood fired pizza options and they make your pizza infront of you. We had country side and rustica from their menu and it was really good. Highly recommend anyone to try their pizzas.
On drinks, while we basically went for draught beer tower, they do have a nice collection of bottle beers.
They do have Zomato gold 2+2 on drinks.
Overall it was a great experience. If you want to go to a decent place for drink without worrying too much about your bill then do try this place.
Gorilla Barfare replaces the popular Jimi's in Koramagala and it's an enhancement. Though Jimi Hendrix Experience remains, forevah. Harambe theme is arty and impressive. Great tribute to Harambe so it has a purpose too. Well, Zomato allows me to upload a perfect 400x400 pixels pics wonly! :-O ...It's always nice to be surrounded by some wonderful artwork, a fine pizza oven in a corner, enjoying your drink, food, music, conversation and serenity. Service is excellent. Food is tasty. Good well stocked bar. Appropriate glasses for assorted tipples also shows up the bar standards. Happy staff is the prime reason for happy customers. House and ED is fine but Blues & Rock is always good. The name Harambe is inspired by Rita Marley's song so, some Reggae will suit. Not just worth a try but worthy to visit regularly. Follow me ;-)

They have two restaurants here. The one on the ground floor is gorilla barfare while the one on top floor is the local if I'm not wrong. But I think the menu is the same in both the restaurants. But the ambience and service of gorilla barfare is wayyy better.

Had a very brief encounter at the gorilla barfare. We visited primarily for drinks and went straight into ordering tequila shots followed by their signature flaming shot 'The Guerilla Flamer'. Service was pretty good and the staff was very courteous. Only thing is that the place was a bit shady for my taste, otherwise everything spot on. We enjoyed Zomato Gold 2+2 drinks offer and ended up spending very nominal amount of 1800 INR for 8 shots. So, definitely the place is worth visiting.
Hi I had been checking out something good on my birthday occasion nearby Koramangala and thought to try Gorilla Barfare and trust me I’m not disappointed. It has cool ambience. I tried chicken tikka and Zomato Gold 2+2. The chicken tikka was yummy. The staff is nice and polite. Definitely will go soon. Keep up the good work!!!

Good place for barfare chicken wings if ordered medium spicy. Most of the time it is empty, not sure why. Better than many other pubs in koramangala.
We were out on a Tuesday and just wanted a cozy place with good music but not too loud... Gorilla barfare was just what we wanted. The food is amazing. Very very worth the pay. The mocktails are good as well. We tried the whiskey sour and LIIT. It was really good. Pizza and Momos are a must try.
Adding to it the service is really good. Was very happy with the people serving.
Definitely a go to place if you want a light chill evening.

A decent place with good food at a reasonable price. They have zomato gold, hence the total bill is not too much. We ordered 4 drinks and 3 chicken starters and the total bill was around 1700 only.
The ambience is decent. They have good music playing. We sat in the open, and the waiter there was quite prompt in service.

Situated opp the tax department office in Kormanagala this used to Jimmy's previously. Locating the pub is no problem as it's located bang on the main road. The interiors are very very well thought out too giving a laid back pub vibe. It has got both indoor seating as well as outdoor seating arrangement. My friends and I opted for the outdoor space. The indoor seating has mainly couches and chairs while the outdoor area is dominated by high stools. The lighting is not too loud and goes with the theme of the place. There's a very interesting pizza oven tucked in one corner of the pub which looks stunning. The staff deserves a special mention here. I absolutely forgot to ask our table attendant's name but that gentleman took real good care of us. He guided us through the menu, gave the best deals and handles the crowd of 12 people with a smile on his face the entire time. We tried the pitchers app and it had a fantastic deal of 1+1 on beer pitchers. Apart from that we tried their liit, whiskey sour, Cosmo and an array of cocktails. The cocktails looked great and tasted fine too. Coming to food...we mostly opted for starters to go with our drinks starting from chilli chicken, chicken haryali kebab, french fries, chilli paneer, paneer thin crust pizza, peanut masala, nachos and several others. The kebabs stood out for me. It was really good. Best part about this place is that it is quite pocket friendly.

The place is located below Locals in koramangala, just opposite the bus depot. Gold is applicable here on the drinks. Prices are moderate and the shrooms pizza was delightful. Music was not loud which meant a better conversation was possible. It has a low light ambiance with separate smoking and non smoking zones.
Been here on weekdays. Pretty chill out place on rooftop . Quick service and good options for munching - ambience and music are good . Centrally located place .. not very heavy on pocket .

Was stunned initially with the ambience! Then the huge menu card! And then finally the food! The taste is fabulous!! Must try is the cheese garlic bread! It'll show you what paradise is! It was a fine Saturday evening I was to meet a diverse set of folk for the first time. Being mindful of the limitations of our wallets and the insatiability of our thirst, we filtered for Gold, converged on Gorilla Barfare.
The uninitiated may mistake the establishment as the ground floor of Local, a considerably wider known watering hole just above. But we were mindful and had done our homework and as expected, the place was empty, the music great and the booze inebriating (what else do you really want). My sensitive friends (yes we are friends now) ordered vegetarian pizzas which were quite nice and the peanut masala was on point and the corn was strange but spicy which is nice.
The service was slightly confusing ranging from fussing over details to ushering us out like cattle.
Would I visit again? Sure! Really enjoyed the music, the lack of an overwhelming crowd or overbearing waiters.
Would I recommended it to people? Only those who want a relaxed evening to talk, sing along to songs and have a fun night sans edm induced seizures the kids call dancing these days.
Do visit, the food is good, the beer, cold.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening to catch up with some old friends as we knew by reading the other reviews that this place would be quiet empty and we could have it all to ourselves. And that’s exactly what happened with only one table apart from ours that was occupied.
They have an indoor and an outdoor seating with us opting for the outdoor as it had a more rustic feel with all the plants and the red bricks and the wood fire oven.
The food menu is very very limited. We opted for the veg nachos which were pretty good and the wood fired white mushroom pizza which was cheesy and soft and delicious! Just didn’t understand why there were pieces of slightly raw garlic in it. We had also ordered for a mocha frappe as none of the other drinks like the Oreo shake or brownie shake were available. But didn’t get to taste it as we dropped the glass by mistake for which were were charged an extra ₹200 on our final bill. But they gave us a glass of soft drink complimentary which was quiet sweet of them.
Overall this place is pretty good but they definitely need to introduce more options under the food section!
Frankly the day had a pretty dull start but Fate had some other plans. I opened up Zomato gold as my friend bunked office. We came to Gorilla as the name made us curious. And after that baby it was a freaking wonderland. Pepperoni Pizza from a wooden oven, Nachos served with Finger-Licking Salsa and Fried Chicken Momos which were so juicy.
Loved the over all vibe and great mellow music.
A perfect place for a Tinder Date any freaking day.
P.S- You won’t feel like seeing the phone even for once.

Had been here Sunday afternoon around 1:45 pm. The place was surprisingly totally empty! But the ambience is beautiful.

* Honey Mushrooms(No picture unfortunately) - This was yumm, good quantity but it was veryy sweet

* Long Island Iced Tea - Strong and yum
* Cosmopolitan - Good
* Kamakazi Shooters - It was ok and wasn’t strong

An great place to sit and enjoy the 3 greatest things - booze, food & music..The ambiance is very cozy and gives you a relaxed feel..You have an AC and non AC smoking area..thr are high chair seating as well as normal seating..You also get a good variety of chicken, pork, beef items..Chicken Cesar salad is one of my favorite..You can enjoy a good variety of thin crust pizza and watch while its been prepared..Billy is a fab host and is always warm n welcoming person..the booze offer provided is 1+1.. thrs always good music playing thanks to the lady in the red hoodie.. On request I've seen the occasional cricket o football match been played on the screen... Yet not disturbing others who enjoy music.. May be during the last over of cricket o last few mins of a sport the music is stopped and the complete crowd including the pub staff n guests enjoy the moment... You wud see ppl of all ages and place come and have a good time...Love this place!!! And I intend to keep coming over along with friends as long as I'm in Blore!!!

1+1 on hot drinks even on weekends at any time is their highlight. Must try the chicken Caesar salad, pork and beef dishes, pizzas, tossed sausages. They play classics, pop, hip hop, rock, EDM. If you are a regular, you'll find a similarity in the playlist. They have an AC section and a non AC smoking zone with a view of the pizza making process.

I rarely ever leave 5 star reviews but this one's going to be a biased one. I live a few hundred meters away from this place and it has consistently been one of the few places I can go to and be sure to have a good time.
The ambience is cozy, the staff are sweet and friendly. The place is kept tidy and there's also the pool table you can go a few rounds at.
The prices have always been extremely pocket friendly and the food being served meets expectations.
Whether you're going in the evening to wind down or just catching up with a few friends at night,. Gorilla Barfare has it all.

Organized a school Alumni Karaoke Night here. Rajiv and his team were super helpful. It was a fabulous evening! Went through without any hassle.
I wish here the last weekend and I totally loved the Margarita slush they make. Among their numerous flavours I like the Irish coffee, the strawberry punch. The food is great as well I had the crispy corn, the loaded nachos, the Paneer chilly which was my favourite and a couple of type of pizzas. The Ambience is very good n very well lit and the services courteous as well. It is right below the local in the same building. Due to lack of presence of the board it is difficult to find it should just look for the Gorilla sign.

With newly made interiors and an open ground floor deck ,the place has ample space and seating is comfortable with wooden chairs and we'll painted walls ! The outer deck is really interesting ,you can sit here and watch the pizza being made on their wood fire oven ! I really appreciate the care taken by the bar to go a step ahead and install rails to rest our feet when sitting on their high raised platforms ,well thought out ! Good stuff !
Coming to the food ,tried their new cocktail and mocktail menu here ,this is the first place in namma Bengaluru which has come up a slush machine to be added to the drinks ,this slush adds in a new dimension to the otherwise drinks !
The Watermelon margarita was neatly presented with a watermelon piece but as far as I'm concerned this drink would have been a bigger blast of the amount of slush used in it were to be less and also the Tequila quantity was also a little on the more side ,also tried their signature and newly introduced cocktail IRISH COFFEE ,which is an espresso shot missed with slush and ac whiskey shot ,amazing didn't even feel like you are consuming alchohol ,this is a must and should try here ,anyone who goes here and missed this have missed the total charm of this place !
Coming to what I ate ,tried their dessert pizza ,loaded with starwberries banana ,Nutella and mint leave ,it tasted good and was also light on stomach also their farmhouse pizza was having a similar go with olive broccoli and tomatoes , awkwardly the base of the pizza was made using a rolling pin ,this was the first time I saw it , probably thats the reason why the crust on my farmhouse pizza was a bit hard compared to the dessert pizza ! Also tried a serving of Panner Tikka ,well made and tatsed good and satisfying and really spicy and also corn chilli pepper was really crispy and well seasoned again satisfying and yum ! The only complain u have here was to have the pizza base made by hand and a little thick with more cheese on the pizzas!
Also veg nachos were good ,the chips we're not the dorritos which they serve in other places ,I guess it's made in house topped with salsa ,sour cream and cheese ,really well made and yum !
Overall the experience was good ,the best time to go here is the mid evenings or weekend nights !

One amazing place I must say! Let me make it clear, this is on the ground floor while local is above this. A lot of people don't actually know this. So ya, coming to the ambience, it's lit! It has a sitting area outside which is open and amazing in the afternoons. And there is also an area inside which is closed.
