I went on a team lunch to Birbal Darbar. The ambience was nice. Service was also good. They served jaljeera as complimentary welcome drink. For food, I had a little mixed experience. Stuffed mushroom tikka and corn with salt and pepper were really yummy. Paneer tikka was normal and Mutton seekh kabab was good. I did not like babycorn munchurian.
Babycorn masala was good but I did not like paneer butter masala.
Caramel and cookies ice cream is a must try there. It was very nice.
My overall experience was pretty good.

We ordered for drums of heaven and chicken momos. Both was really good and 4 stars for its taste. But we also ordered biryani as it was their speciality which was not upto the mark. I guess they should change the recipe for biryani or just remove it from the menu. The price was also fine. I want to visit again the restaurant for its drums of heaven only.

It's one of the few restaurants available in the off sarjapur road area. I loved their welcome drink,we have tried a starter and biryani, quick service both the items are tasty.Biryani isn't Hyder abadi style, but tasted good in it's own way.

This is a perfect place to go for Sarjapur ppl. Its very near to my place, so I often go or prefer home delivery from here. Service is prompt with good food. Went to Birbal darbar with office colleagues, the food was awesome. Paneer biryani was good. Overloaded with paneer. Good ambiance and courteous staff. Chicken handi and butter nan was also lip-smacking.

Being polite it's awesome.... Went on 2nd October for dinner with my wife... They welcomed us with a sweet smiles on their face.... 1 of a staff came to our tables and told us that " sir I'm sorry I cannot serve u our welcome drink right now in making other drinks but I'll surely serve it after your food" which will make a good digestion... We were not sad instead we were happy by his suggestion......

The place is a must try for North Indian food. Been here for a quick dinner with family. Tried their butter chicken and garlic naan - a simple but delicious combo. Their peach iced tea was delicious.
I stay nearby and order regularly from here. I find their boneless butter chicken better than most other places in Sarjapur rd. Other good choices are chicken biryani and hakka noodles. Overall a good option which is very reliable!

This is a medium sized restaurant, the food in the menu is nothing extraordinary. With very little to choose when it comes to the tandoor items. However the food tasted good. We ordered the mutton sheen kabab and fish tikka. Both were juicy and succulent. Loved the decor diving it a bit if mughol feel. The service was on the slower side but overall a good experience and yes...the price is reasonable. So good for a gang of freineds party or a quick family dunner. Parking is bit of an issue here.

Birbal darbar is a nice little restaurant opposite RGA tech park in Sarjapura road. If you are coming for the first time, it is a little difficult to find it as it is on the narrow service road beside the flyover. There is no parking available so the vehicle needs to be parked road side. The ambience is good with nice tables, giving it the Mughal look. We ordered Manchow soup, Masala papad, Paneer tikka, naans, Dal Bukhara and Kadai Paneer. The food was delicious. Loved the Dal a lot that finished it without any roti, just the Dal. Overall a good place for .a nice dinner.
Checked in Zomato to visit this place for biryani but kind of disappointed. Nothing felt special about the taste. Ordered mutton sheek kababs which were good and Fish Tikka.

I had a quite good experience in this restaurant. I'm gonna divide the review in 3 Parts.
1. Ambience- If you are going with family or with partner you are going to get quite sitting arrangement with good music to lighten the mood. It's all lit up with colorful lights.
2. Food- All the food I ordered has their unique taste and was authentic cuisine unlike the other restaurants in Bangalore. Must try- Tandoori chicken (Soft as cotton the chicken was melting in mouth. Crispy from outside and tender from inside.), Mix non veg noodles ( One of the best noodles you could ask for. It has egg, chicken, prawns.
3. Price- It's absolute value for money with no service charge included in the bill. The price is medium range with very good portion size.
Overall a best place to have a great dinner outing in Bangalore.

Came here after I discovered that the Birbal place at Sulkiunte is takeaway only. The place is clean and maintained well. Food is priced reasonably. Butter chicken (even after being advised it isn't spicy) was a bit spicy for our liking. The biryani is different (with onion Masala) and is well cooked. Kucha was nice too. Service was really good and quick.
We ordered the Boneless chicken Biriyani and Mutton Kheema with Tandoori roti. Also ordered Chicken Lollipop and Fish kebab. All the food varieties were quite tasty. Service was fast. There wasn't much rush during lunch. Garam Ginger Chaai was great too.
