This is yet another hyderabadi biryani eatery. It's taste is good, spicy as expected.. Good place, suggest others to give it a try..
Today i have visited this place alone i have ordered one chicken lollipop and chicken dhum biriyani it was toooooooo spicy I liked is soooo much,,,,,,
The biryani is superb. The taste and the amount is far better than other biryani restaurants. Even the mini pack has good amount. Its highly recommended if you want to have spicy biryani.
Its one of the rear restaurant in marthahalli who wants fully spicy biryani its full spicy of every non veg item
Better place for people who wants spicy food👍
Its a very nice place to go with friends and family, staff is soo polite, food is awesome... It will be great dinner or lunch for sure worth a while
Yummiest Sankati/ragi muddha ever had... So smooth, so moist and jus slipped through the tongue without any effort... Rayalaseema mutton curry jus went well with it perfectly. While the taste of bamboo chicken was good the raw taste of masala powder was still there... Overall a good treat.. with nice service. simple ambiance and located in a not so appealing building. But give it a 4* for their authentic food.
Ambience and service were really good. Mutton kheema balls were very tasty, however chicken lollipop biriyani was not up to the mark. The lollipop pieces were quite salty which ruined the taste of biriyani for me. Giving 4 stars for the service, ambience and mutton starter.
The spice level in this restaurant is very high. Almost all the dishes were spiced up. Definitely one to try if increased spice level is not an concern. Service was very good.
If spicy is your thing, this is the place to visit. Make sure you order some lassi to calm your tastebuds. Getting a table would be tough unless you make a reservation.

Its is one of the best biryani hub... loved it by performing.... in content also its gonna bigggggg... just look at pieces , if they give more pieces it is no. One
The mouth watering bamboo chicken is my favourite, the number of times I visit Bangalore I try to make it there for the bamboo chicken! Cloves or black pepper I don't know how the chef does it, but he does it awesome. But this time I did find out their kofta is also nice, based with a sweet gravy it melts in mouth and would be a good accompanyment for butter nun!!

That was an amazing sibling time I had here.. After a long time , made me feel like I'm back in my hometown with all the mouth watering tastes of Andhrapradesh , the tongue twistig spiciness
Just made my day ..!
Thank you ❤
Best Place for traditional food lovers and biryani lover..here I just like ragi sangatri Jonna rotta and guttokanyaa pulusu..I like the place
Okay first of all, their biryani is like super spicy and honestly I was not able to finish it completely and that made me sad. Wasting biryani is a sin. And i like spicy dishes but this was way too much. Starters were fabulous and right kind of spicy and will definitely order starters again from them. But biryani, nopes , am not cut out for that.
I liked the taste of this hotel and quantity is more .Natti chicken Biryani is very nice and also mutton biryani is nice .I recommend to taste the food of this hotel
Best and delicious Biryani ever. If you want to taste spicy and tasty biryani, then you won't get any other option. Nizam biryani is worth a try.🙂
Tried mutton paya and ragi sangati. It was nice but bit spicy. We went on weekend, so it was full crowd.good restaurent to visit with family.
If you are looking for really spicey biriyani go for kritunga. I frequently order from here. Try chicken roast biriyani/ paneer biriyani/ andhra fry chicken/ rayalaseema chicken curry.
This is the 3rd time i have ordered chicken biriyani from this restaurant the biriyani was sooo hot and full spicy and especially the taste is same that i got 3 times
Comfy ambiance and awesome fodd especially biryani is the best.
Can even order online through Uber eats.
Really wished this place was on zomato gold
Kritunga serves some spicy andhra cuisine. The biriyani here was very good. Rest of the dishes like pepper chicken were nice as well. Hygiene at the place is one area which could be improved.
Visited kritunga with my friends. We ordered natti chicken biriyani family pack for 4 person. The quantity and rice was very good. The natti chicken pieces were not great. It was small with lots of bones. Overall nice biriyani. I felt the biriyani little spicy for me. The andrites with us did not feel so :)
If you are craving for spicy andhra taste, this is one of the places to go for.
Service from the restaurant is good.
Restaurant is clean and it is a good place to go with family.
If you're a fan of spicy biryani and lip smacking starters, visit here.
Good food, ambience and service. Had a wonderful lunch here. Quantity provided in family biryani is good enough for 3.
If you are really a chilli lover then kritunga is the best place to visit. They have lots of varieties and every dish have its own flavours. And I ordered platter that was so amazing full of flavours and aroma. And that bamboo chicken was mind blowing that juicyness of that chicken was soo amazing. Really I had good experience. They can improve ambiance a little bit and service also.
If you are real spice food lover then perfect choice is "Kritunga"This place famous for a Chicken Pot Biriyani, Bamboo Chicken......
The ambiance was Okay, and services was good....
Food : 4/5
Service : 4/5
Ambience : 3/5
(Entrance needs more neatness)
Value for money : 3.5/5
Overall : 3.7/5
We went there for team lunch.Nice place in Marathahalli if you like spicy chicken biryani. You will get multiple option for andhra style cuisines here.they can improve the ambience and specially the service for a single order they took more then 30 mins to serve the food.
If you one of those foodies who likes to take up challenges and still you stomach remains empty, just watch out for their biryani. It will satisfy your stomach. Just mind the amount of chilli they add.
Best place to have my home food. Food is very spicy here. So be aware before u go. I prefer this restaurant to have ragi Mudda(Rayalaseema spl) mostly. And I often visit this place with my parents as they loved it the most
Had for the first time in this restaurant in marthalli biryani was good and the flavour was good actually loved it i prefer here what about you folks !!!!!

The service was good and quick ,and the price is also affordable, but only thing is they should reduce putting more salt in the biryani rice
Ordered Bamboo Chicken, Pot Biryani and Gulab Jamun. Was very good. The dishes were of the authentic rayalaseema style which was spicy and not half-cooked. There's usually a wait here because of the rush in the restuarant. Also, food will not be available after 2 pm.
This is perfect place for biryani...
You can order any of it veg or non veg... All are really nice...
Those who likes spicy food can enjoy here
Especially Pot Biryani...
Place for Biriyani lovers. Mutton Biriyani and lollipop Biriyani are must try. Pepper chicken and Mutton chops a good combo for biriyani.
Lot of options to try.
It's really awesome guys if you are carving for spicy food it's highly recommend every item has it's own taste I really love spicy food that too in non veg omg I can't control myself I really wanna have everything in that restaurant but it's not possible to eat at a time but TISSUES are really needed for us omg I can't, it will literally melt in our mouth. if you have one bite of that it won't taste that much of spicy at all when you came increase your dose then you can feel real spicy food of kritunga but it's really awesome foodd
Really amazing spicy Food. Especially Mutton Biryani was too good. It is a must try one here.
And there are lot of verities of chicken and mutton items especially our RAYALASEEMA tastes.
The space is great for having a family lunch or dinner. The staff is good and the ambiance is also amazing. Both veg and non-veg options are great. I would recommend if y'all wanna have a quick bite or a group lunch. You'll not get disappointed.
The Real Meaning of Spicy food is Kritunga. Please do carry some tissues, because you are gonna get tears in eyes with the spicy masala but the biryani would be awesome. And chicken biryani is what i would order, and i love that. Lemon chicken as a starter was not great. Bamboo chicken is the most favourite one over here. Please please try that. Spicy food is the trend here. But i love it.
Khya taste hey bhayya.....aa spicy maa oorini gurthu chesindhi. My humble request bhayya.....never ever think of reducing the spicyness in the food maintain that much of spicy.....everyone will love the food like me❤️❤️
Hi friends,
Kritunga is known for spicyness , but I like biryani and curries natu kodi here and khema biryani was good . But who can’t eat spicy don’t go here but spicy lovers will love this restaurant

🍽Tried Marumilli Village Bamboo Chicken, Special Chicken Biryani & Mutton Biryani.
🔪Marumilli Village Bamboo Chicken - Chicken marinated in spices & cooked in a bamboo. Though the dish is super super spicy, it was quiet tasty.
⚡Spiciness Alert🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
🔪Special Chicken Biryani - Boneless chicken cooked in spices & topped over well cooked biryani rice. This dish too was very very spicy. Loved the spicy biriyani masala, but the chicken was a bit rubbery.
⚡Spiciness Alert🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
🔪Mutton Biryani - Meat cooked to perfection with spices, in biriyani rice. Another extremely spicy & tasty dish.
⚡Spiciness Alert🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
👌Highly recommended!!!
💥Must try!!!
one of the best biriyani which I ever had. The combination of biriyani and thalakari is superb, mouthwatering ambience is cool service is good and taste is awesome.
Nice food and ontime delivery.... great job ... packaging is good ... excellent .. good job ...
This biryani is awesome and fried rice is also good
Kritunga is famous for its biryani, so better have biryani here. Rest everything is fine, you can not expect a lot. There are cleanliness issues here. Lot of rush.
One of my fav restaurant when it comes to biryani.
The price is affordable and wont burn a hole in your pocket.
They need to work on the ambience part and cleanliness.
Food is awesome and so is the quantity.
If you are a biryani lover then you must try this.
nice and very testy food today.
Awesome taste awesome ambience and the quality of food and nature of staff towards serving food is really awesome. Visited couple of times here and tasted briyani and veg meal and its really delicious. Love it. If you're looking for Andhra food then you can definitely visit this place. I would rate 4\5…
A place so good for biryani lovers. I love the spicy thing in biryani they make. If you r looking for a good restaurant for spicy biryani it is the best you have got. The service is quite slow but the food is too good. One thing that can be improved is that they should start accepting paytm and zomato gold.
Kritunga is the specialist for Nati kodi curry, I really enjoyed it, it’s like homemade food very tasty and spicy compare with other restaurants Kritunga is The best in RAYALASEMA FOOD I loved it.........
Want to have super spicy food? This is the place for you then. Everything here is highly spicy.
Ragi sangati I like here and the chutney they give us super spicy but then good combo it makes.
Have tried their few foods and it tastes good thou the chilly over powers all the other flavours.
Service is good and ambience is ok.
If you're looking for spicy authentic andhra style biryani the right place, food is damn spicy service is good
Love the mutton biryani and chicken pot biryani
Chicken curry is not tasty
I went to kritunga restaurant with my friends the food was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed the chicken biryani...the service was good and had good time..would like to rate it 4/5.
God food not wow test in food, Biriyani was little bit spicy so you can decrease the spiciness of biriyani, but curry was good in test......

I love Kamju biriyani from this restaurant. Very good quantity of biriyani is served here. One suggestion would be to reduce the use of green chillies.....my eyes waters up whenever I start eating biriyani....Good that they want to make spicy food in Bengaluru....but not this spicy
Food was cooked well. Since the food is Andhra-style, the spices were added well. The Family Pack Biriyanis does serve easily to 4-5 people. A must try place for a spicy non-veg lover. Service might be a bit slow at times. Overall, a good experience in terms of the quality of food. Reasonably priced dishes.
non veg items were good. Bamboo chicken was also good. but for veg, I took avakay biriyani, it doesn't have any avakay or avakay taste, just beans. total disappointment for avakay biriyani.
biryani was really good. Quantity was also very much.
Ordered through Zomato food delivery. The quantity of the food was good and price was worth it. Nice packaging. The food was hot and spicy but that is how a biryani should be. They also offer pot biryani and I m sure you will pack the left overs for your home as quantity is superb. Reasonable price.
Very nice hyderbadi biryani place. This is the place if u like spicy food. Chicken starters and biryani was delicious. Bamboo chicken is the must try option.
My favourite place to have Andhra spicy
This place is wonderful and the ambiance also is good..........
We ordered a chicken pot Biryaani, babycorn manchurian and mutton curry also good......

Tried their ragi mudda which is worth trying with their super spicy chutneys. Must try place for biryani lovers !!!
Tasty pot biryani I enjoyed a lot by eating this spicy biryani ..I suggest u guys order this pot biryani .....................................................
Biryani was too good(spicy).. Thank you

Exceptional..It's as more spicy as I expected..Good job guys..
This place is a branch of the famous Andhra chain of restaurants. This restrau is the pinnacle of spice that I have ever had. Myself being a spice lover, I am literally crazy about this place.
The general non-spicy crowd need to address the chef to lower the spice level a bit. The biryani here is without a doubt authentic Hyderabadi style.
The mutton dum biryani is just mind boggling. Chicken biryani is just fine. Compared to the taste and quantity of food, the price is very student friendly.
North Indians usually don't dare to visit such places because of its hard-to-pronounceable name. But I highly recommend it to every Biryani lover.
Must try: Mutton Dum Biryani
Might wanna try: Chicken Biryani
Food: 4
Pricing: Low
Service: 4.5
Ambience: 3.5.
It was good specially the quantity
My rating is from a visit made in 2016. I had been to this outlet for office lunch. My team kept telling me about Rayalaseema food and were warning me off the spice levels.
Had mutton, chicken and for the first time I had ragi balls. I enjoyed the food. The spice level was good but not overbearing.
Havent been there for ages, will have to go back and see if the standards are the same now, as they were that time.
Packaging could be better....use containers
Ordered avakaya biryani from this place. Delivery was quick . Nice choice for those who crave a tinge of spices for their taste buds. Must visit.
It’s a very good non vegetarian restaurant in east Bengaluru and it’s in IT hub of Bengaluru and it’s basically serve andra style dishes and Biryani is very nice and it’s mouth watering Biryani
Food looks too spicy n very less of fish in Biryani...
Super....... ..!!!!!!! And tasty. Ragi mudha hmmm!!!! More tasty......... I loved indeed......Good and fast service................ Extra chatny given super
Kritunga is the place for spicy lovers!!
I have been to kritunga couple of times.
The must try food items are Ragi mudda with natukodi chicken curry, Bamboo chicken, mutton and prawns biryani.

make it medium spicy for universal acceptance

it was a good experience..

the pot biryani was too good and the quantity is also great

Nice food.... Spicy..... 👌👌👌👌👌
Summary : Nice spicy authentic Andhra food at an economical price
Order : lacha paratha, kritunga boneless chicken curry, ragi ball, chicken curry, mutton biryani, mushroom biryani
Food (4/5) : the ragi ball along with nati polasu is worth a try; although it's worth mentioning that the ragi is not served in a ball, they are mushed together with ghee and served in a semi-gooey oatmeal style in a bowl. It my first time tasting ragi balls and it went well with the spicy curry. The lacha paratha was large and the kritunga special curry was spiced well. The mushroom biryani was a little too spicy for my taste and I don't think its worth a try. I didn't really get chance to try the mutton biryani but family pack is enough for 3 large eaters on an empty stomach.
Ambiance (3/5) : casual dining ambiance. Seating is a bit congested though.
Service (3/5) : service was a bit slow at the time of visit. Never really got that spoon till the end.
Value for money (4/5) : food tasted good, the quantity was generous and fairly economical pricing.
Must try : ragi balls with the nati polasu
If you are tired of eating the same Hyderabadi dum biriyani and even the biriyani spices are not able to spice up your tongue then this is the right place to be. They have special biriyanis like Green Mirchi Chicken Biryani, Mutton Kheema Biryani. Please note that these are not dum biriyanis. You have a bowl full of mutton Kheema mixed with biryani rice. The combination of these two generates a very different flavour. Generating a different flavour is one thing and making it taste good is another, Kritunga is the best to do both of these very nicely. Price and quantity ratio are good. Bamboo chicken is good but nothing beats the Mutton Kheema biriyani. Service is fast and stuffs are welcoming. These are good dishes in the rural areas of Andhra. They can take these dishes and elevate them to a restaurant level dish and I can see them being one of the best restaurants in Bangalore.
no reviews for those who provide food
Food is good. However nothing special compared to other Andra restaurants
ordered special chicken biriyani from kritunga by using Zomato.. the biriyani looks ordinary, infact not good. never felt the taste like kritunga( it looks like normal coloured rice, quantity is more but quality is less.) orderid: 1146027014 . delivery is fast, good delivery. but poor quality of food in my case.
Its very good restaurant for dine, the speciality of the restaurant is spicy of the food i loved it.
Quality of the food is good
Response of the staff is good.
We ordered a chicken pot biryani,a paneer biryani and babycorn manchurian. The paneer biryani was damn delicious and was among the best veg biryani I have ever tasted so far.
The ambience was nice,Service is quick.Staff is hospitable.

Spice ti the taste and the way our Rayalaseema food served made be to go crazy....love the spice and authenticity of the food. Especially Raagi mudda and natu kodi pulusu.
If u are a Hyderabad briyani lover, just head out straight to Kritunga and order for a boneless spl chicken briyani . That's what exactly what I did . We ordered for extra spicy briyani and thoroughly enjoyed the taste of it . Rayalseema chicken fry is also a must try here .
Also order for white rice + naatu Kodi pulusu ( country chicken curry ) - and enjoy the best combo of rice and chicken curry . Keep a thums up handy, as u would be needing it quite often during the course of the meal
🤩🤩🤩The best Andhra style food in the town🤩🤩🤩
Must try: Ragi Mudda, Natukodi Iguru and chicken tandoori ❤️❤️
Awesome taste
Great service
Reasonable price
nice taste best preferable Spicy Biryani in whole Bangalore
Delivery was done on time..!!
awesome taste... real hydrabadi spicy...
i loved it ..we ordered chicken biryani plus dum alu biryani both taste superb.. starter's also good veg and non veg items both good taste and yummy to have it.. we will visit next Saturday.
If you Wanna Taste awesome spicy andhra biriyani i suggest to visit this place.. i have visted many times to taste biryani and never got bored .. i had Tried different kind of biryani here and especially Gongura Chicken Biryani is so delicious ... we can get a very nice starters as well. 😍
Chicken biriyani was good great place and tasty food. A very reasonable price. The staff are very warm and friendly. I would definitely be going there again....
I ordered natu kodi fry. the taste was good but i thought the quantity is less for the amount which I have spent
chicken biriyani was good, rayalseema chicken curry was out of the box its a must try dish here, ill suggest don't order chicken pot biriyani they simply fill the plain biriyani in the clay pot and serve it was very dissapointing
food is more spicy so I gave 4star otherwise I vl give 5
I have been here only once. But I’ve had a very good experience during my visit. Food is tasty. Ambience is ok. Service is good. A very good place for Andhra style non vegetarian food.
I love spicy food, but I think too much spice kills the flavours. I love andhra food and most of the dishes I have tried here are good , but can't eat more since it's overly spiced .My friends specially like the Raagi mudde and mutton curry served .It's a lovely combination .Since I'm not a Raagi lover,I have only tried it few times. But I love the mutton gravy..It's yummy
This weekend we are searching for Andhra style restraunt to experiment end up in Kritunga! spicy food and good service.. If you are foodie huge menu is there and biriyani was yummy
I liked the copper cups n plates ☺ it's all the spicy food wch I love. ..good place for spice loving people.
Spiced up prawn biriyani was great...butter mutton and tangdi kabab..have been to electronic city branch and this place is also good.
service is fast and price is affordable. 🍤🍗
The food taste and the ambience is good. It was a neat and clean service. They provided customized taste as per our request. Restaurant guys are soft spoken.
Go ahead, if your tongue is craving for something very spicy...this place will never disappoint you...the ambience is ok..the service is also fast...we have tried few chicken starters, and we have enjoyed all..the special biriyanis which they have is also really good...let me remind you once again, it's a place for spicy food lovers...
Good spicy food.. I hat more can I say. Must try the bongulo chicken from this place..
The pot biryani and bongulo chicken makes me go back there again and again
A authentic andhara cuisine.. nice place with decent service.
A bit spice for people who are not South Indian. But very good taste indeed.
We had mutton Biriyani, special chicken Biriyani, Nizam Biriyani.
Mutton was properly cooked.. no smell.. and pieces were appropriate. Nizam chicken biryani was less spicy compare to other. Mutton keema & dosa combination was superb though was bit spicy for some of was..
Stuff was very well mannered and service was fast.
Their container was very traditional (copper looks) and attractive. A family restaurant where you can visit multiple times..
Perfect place for spicy cuisine. Totally authentic Andhra food. They can do better with their prices. Their service is great. Staff is very friendly.
bill should sent with food.
Me and my flatmate went to Kritunga to have some biryani and North Indian food.
1. Ambience- Super nice.
2. Price - Worth it.
3. Taste - Chicken biryani was very spicy and tasty. Paneer biryani was a bit less tasty but still one of the best in Bangalore.
Also, must try their Paneer butter masala.
Food is typically Andra style.. Spicy and tasty.. If you can't eat spicy food this is not an option for you.. Only problem here is it's awfully crowded all the time.. Getting a seat is difficult.. Bamboo chicken is my favourite in this branch of krithunga
The place is running really great. Always full. The management is really wonderful. They take care pf all your needs. The food was really good. The service was superb. I had a really spicy biryani here and that bamboo chicken was really good. The quality of food and those heavy utensils add another feather to their cap. Really enjoyed myself. Thank you guys.
Good reasonable restaurant for non veg people.Best mutton fry I have tasted and good worth for money.Go for it.Servicing can be improved and drinks can be made cheaper.
I ordered mutton biryani. We asked the waiter to make it less spicy, inspite of that the biryani was spicy but tasty. The gongura chutney was also good. One who likes spicy food will surely enjoy it. Ambience and service was equally good.
One of the best place to have some dishes from Rayalseema...i.e Raagi Mudde accomapied by chutney which is sply fingerlicking...
If u planning to have Raagi Mudde try this place or Rayasea Chef
I am a spicy food lover and the biryani these people serve is spicy max.... Do try red chilli chicken biryani here....its so tasty and spicy....the rates here are not too high and not too low
Hey, yesterday I went to kritunga , marthahalli.we liked kima mutton biryani really testy and worth.service was not good.we waited mich time for delivery.
This one of the good Andhra restaurants i usually order. They have family packs for briyani's, If you are order for a group this would be best and economical option.
Taste of food is good, spicy level is optimum for non Andhra people. The only draw back is that, for family pack you get more rice than the pieces or dish. I usually order mushroom briyani family pack. 3-4 can have this, but you will get mushrooms only for a plate or 1.5 plate.
When you really want to have some spicy food, try Kritunga, real spicy Andhra style food. We ordered egg biriyani and stressed the word- No Spicy but when we received it was really spicy. We finished the food with 2 glass of butter milk and few glass of water. Overall good food but spicy.
Food; Good
Service; Good
Ambiance: Good
Food is good here. Try Raagi mudda once. Serving is good. Here you will have more options to choose. If you are non veg lover this is good place for you
Best place for biryani in Marathahalli. Though the ambience is okay, the taste of food will compensate for it. Kheema biryani is really nice down here and the traditional ragi mudda and natu kodi pulusu is awesome. Service wise is little low.
Quick lunch is as available on. Office time Raggi mudde is my favourite at this place with sambar curry and chutney as well as I like fish tikka also..............................
It was first time, I visited this place. I had Ragi Mudde which my friend used to recommend me to have. It was awesome. The curry and other spicy things it was served with were very tasty. Though it was very spicy but it's taste kept me going. I always crave to have it. Loved the dish.
Spicy Andhra briyani at its best with the rice having a lot of flavour. We ordered Nizam briyani and Nati kozhi briyani. Good quantity, spicy and delicious. Good fast and efficient service. So if you are craving for some mouth watering spicy briyani this is the place to be.
Visited this place couple of times , This place is always crowded and you can find the ambiance little tacky. For the food - If you are a biryani lover and looking for casual dining you can never go wrong with this place.
One of my favourite aandhra restaurant. Mushroom Biryani is one of my favourite dish here. Other items like Paneer chilly, dum Biryani, bringle curry are also good.

Kritunga is a standalone Andhra cuisine based restaurant, and apparently there are many outlets but I am a regular visitor of both whitefield branch and as well as marathahalli branch. The place is very popular , and sometimes it's difficult to step in also . The food is amazingly delicious, spicy , red hot spice bound to make you water from every orifices possible.. the pot Briyani which is served in a earthen pot is my favourite... rayelseema chicken , deep fried pepper chicken, gonghora mutton , tomato curry , dal fry , are the must try out dishes .... i can go on naming the dishes in fish , veg etc. Authenic Andhra food is guaranteed... the only draw back of this place is that the level spices and chillies they use in all the dishes , can't be eaten some people....
But I love the place and once in while it ok to try something new.
Served food wasn't disappointing at all. Can visit this place if only a Hyderabadi misses the authentic Hyderabad biryani taste. The waiters were all friendly and were well mannered.
Yesterday we had lunch from Kritunga Restuarant in marthahalli. This restaurant is famous for andra and Bangalore cuisine. Since my brother is a frequent visitor, he chose the items and we just had to eat 😁 We ordered pepper chicken fry, raagi mudha, nattu kozhi and their famous red chilli chicken biriyani. They serve the spiciest food I have ever had. Even the biriyani rice turned out to be very spicy. The taste was really good and ambience and service was way better. The place is usually crowded in the afternoon, you might need to book your table in advance. Overall place is really good and must visit for spicy food lovers
Mainly ordered for home delivery..rather office delivery :) ordered the famous spicy chicken biryani. Even though I eat a lot of street food, but have to say that initially this restaurant used to give a lot of oil in their food. Later it reduced. Good biryani.
The place is not great at the ambiance coz it's a bit untidy coz of its crowd. The mouth watering Rayalseema food and spice is excellent here. The Pot biryani is a must try and also the ragimuddha.
Biryanis of this place is so delicious n tasty if u want to try nonveg u must go to this place there services is very gud n the staff is also very polite....
A place for authentic south Indian food....highly spiced up food....loved it....
Wud love to visit again.
Hhhaaaaaawwwwwwtttt n Spiccccyyyyyyy
Andra Food restaurant mainly famous for its spicy food. Menu options are vast. Boneless biryani is good. Service is good. Give it a try if you are near marathalli area if you like andra food
I've been here a couple of times and every time I come here I order the exact same thing. Nizam chicken biryani and a glass of lemonade. The biryani is simply exquisite. The chicken is boneless and marinated well. The spices make your mouth water with every bite you take. That's what the lemonade is for. So if you really like spicy biryani I would definitely recommend this.
Once visited this Restaurant with my collegues and ordered Mushroom Briyani just becoz ,one of my collegue liked mushroom a lot.
Yummm.....extremly spicy, out of the world. We have been addicted to it now. Really, Whenever we feel like to have Briyani, directly walk to this Kritunga Restaurant. I would suggest others to visit this restaurant once if they get craving to have Briyani with full of spices.
If yu want the real rayalseema spices and taste , then without a choice kritunga is the place for you . Pot biryani is crazy here. Try that.
The seating arrangement is little cramped and there is very little space to park two or four wheeler. But the food is just amazing. I had ragi sangathi and guthu vankaya kura. It was just amazing. I wonder how they make such amazing tasty dishes.

Andhra Spicy food. Ragi mudda must try. Friendly service. Good hangout for Telugu/Andhra crowd (my colleague loves this place). Ambience is ok.
Superb food and delivery by zomato is very fast I liked it very much mainly taste is like rayalaseema nativity I will come to this resto for remembering my nativity
This one is a family restaurant, clean and okay. Spicy south indian non veg food. Good service especially if you order biryani. Decent crowd as well.
After talking about Andhra and Rayalseema cuisine from my friends, I finally gave a visit to this place. Well this place looks pretty decent from outside and inside. And the best part is, this place is way too good for your pocket. They will give a plate of onion and lemon without even asking for it.
So since I was suggested to try country Chicken curry, without seeing the menu I directly asked for it. And to accompany that, I asked for Ragi muddhe and tandoori roti. Well they served us a plate covered with banana leaf. And service was really fast.
Natukodi chicken (country Chicken) curry was really tasty, though chicken pieces were little less but gravy quantity was good. The spice level was really high. If you are not a spice lover and thinking to come here, then prepare yourself beforehand.
Ragi muddhe was very soft and sloppy. The correct way to eat this is to mix with gravy and sallow it. Since this was my first time trying so I couldn't like it completely. I may have to try some more time to get the real taste.
If you try having different cuisines, then do give this place a visit and try on your own.
Spicy food has always been my first priority in taste. Hearing a lot about it, walked down here. Ordered chicken biryaani along with raagi ball, butter naan, veg and non veg curries and starters. Rest everything was great. Starters were yum. Raagi ball and curries were delicious but i don't what does the word spicy mean to them. I love spicy food but here they just over spice biryaani items so much that kills all the taste and one may end up with an burning sensation in stomach. Everything apart from it is nice but only suggestion is not to over spice biryaani items.
Please give home delivery to new thippasandra
In the delivery list thr is option of delivery to new thippasandra.so please give delivery option to new thippasandra
We came here for lunch..and ordered for veg and non veg...service is good....they respect the customers...and was satisfied and the food tastes yummy...
If you want to have spicy Andhra food this is the place to go to. We had egg masala, jeera rice and roti the food was super spicy and awesome. The service is quick but not good on cleanliness part. The portions are pretty large so be careful before ordering.
This is one of the best biryani places on Marathalli outer ring road. They have the best chicken lollipop biryani. Service might be a little slow( delivery) but the food is delicious. The quality is good as well. Something's the taste may vary but it is not a bad place. Loved their prawns starter as well. They also have amazing veg food. It is a must try
No Words to say about Kritunga, i am usually from Andhra Pradesh and i always prefers Spicy, when I visited for the First Time i fell in love with Kritunga Restaurant and Especially you can only get a Tasty & Spicy Biryani in Marathahalli, Everytime while i was eating in Kritunga tears will come Automatically due to Spiciness but Never ending Story is Still bow I didn't left the Restaurant, for every occasion or Party or a Normal Dine i will prefer Kritunga, Especially that Chicken Biryani and Chicken Pulsu with Raagi Mudda and Mutton Biryani those are really awesome.
People who loves to eat Spicy things Visit Kritunga definitely you may fall in loce with Kritunga Taste
The food is good but be well prepared before hand with lots of water to cool off that firing hot spice down your throat. The biryani is good and starters too, but again filled with a blast of spices.
Best place for spicy food lovers. The food is awesome and spicy. As i am having a great love towards spicy food and Kritunga gave me a chance to taste a spicy briyani, that was the best part. I like the briyani and peper chicken very much here. Love this place and love to visit again.
I tried their mutton biryani and bamboo chicken
The ambience was pleasant and the service was prompt.
They claim the biryani to be higher on the spice level, and I like my biryani spicy, so I decided to give this place a try.
Taste wise the biryani was decent, nothing impressive but decent.
Bamboo chicken was good and had a distinct kind of taste to it.
Overall a good experience for people who love spicy food.
This Andhra/Rayalaseema restaurant is a place filled with varieties of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes where 'biryani' being the star of the menu and 'ragi sankati' the co-star . The ambience and the service is great and cost reasonable .
Great and spicy food ......... service is bit careless may be because of heavy demand ... its taste pure andra style ... people's who like spicy will enjoy it others don't even dream to try ...... you can't expect anything without spicy .....
I if u want really andhra style food means kritunga only no1 andhra style food we eated many times food is super taste I eated ragi mudda thalakaya mamsam it is amazing and starters chicken majestic chicken roast is super taste and I went for biriyans there are 24types of biriyani and I eated pot chicken biriyani it is different taste and amazing I think the biriyani of pot chicken biriyani is cook in pot that's way the taste is super taste one and only andhra rayalseema food is kritunga marathalli opp to more I like very much this restaurant and maintaiance is good
Had my life's best chicken curry here. We were on the way to a late night meeting (startup life 🤘) and stopped to try it out. First instincts were to try Hyderabadi biryani (just opposite it) but I would always be grateful to my boss we came here instead. He wanted me to test some south on food.
He ordered country chicken, along with some variety of rice bath (I don't remember the name, but it was brown). It tasted amazing. I didn't had another chance to go there, but I would highly recommend it.
Update: The cuisine was "Natu Kodi iguru and Ragi mudha"
If you are in search of authentic rayalaseema food, this is the place to go. I've been here a couple of times and ordered food too and have never been disappointed. Kheema balls, jonna rotti with natikodi pulusu are my favourite. Chicken dum biryani is a must try.
P.S. : the food here is super spicy. So if you don't like to give your taste buds a spicy treat refrain from going here. :)
I love this restaraunt very much bcoz of ragi mudda natukodi pulusu bambo chicken and all it will be spicy food we didnt get this type of food outside and service is full fast i like this very
Nice place.. Not sure why the rating is low. The food is on the spicier side which caters to my taste buds so I love the place. They serve nice andhra dishes and specialities .
This is THE andhra place if you want try the regional delicacies. Not your typical "only biryani" hence andhra type of hotel.
Ever heard of Ragi mudde (Its a dense porridge made out of ragi millets and rice) and goes damn well with any spicy nonveg curry. And that's just an example of regional andhra delicacy. Do try jowar roti with country chicken curry and some pot biryani to finish.
And yes, there are starters too and if you are in the mood for a Costa tribal recipe "Bamboo chicken" can fulfill that for you.
Taste - Overall 4.5/5 for Andhra regional cuisine authenticity. And 3.5 for the general multi cuisine affair.
Ambience - Not so great. But you would survive. 2.75 May be.
Service - You get it in time. Albeit you may miss a smile a lot of time.
Do not miss if you are an authenticity freak!

Been there many times. Mutton kheema biryani is really good. Feels like eating more. Worth paying the money. Other food items are really spicy and good.
Nice place, nice ambience, nice food, nice service, price is reasonable, but one thing that the staff are very polite. The restaurant trained their staff very well.. Thank you to all of them.
Good value for money. Prawn 65 and Prawn fry are better. Gongura chicken is too sour and mutton is rubbery....
Naattukoli pulav and keema Curry is OK
It's a spicy non veg food lovers delight. With a fix of traditional food. Like ragi mudda and bamboo chiken for example.
One of the best biriyani in Bangalore , the quality is very good and so the the tasty, the food is spicy , so prior to order please ask them to make it less spicy if you prefer less spicy...
Spicy... Spicy... Spicy... Nose running and face burning spiciness.
Beware!!! whatever you order will be very spicy.
I don't know what chefs think but people are burning with spiciness while having food. (even native Andhra people).
Paya, and chicken manchow soups are good.
Fish ginger fry is good for it's high spiciness and taste.
Bongulo chicken is not very tasty, but can try once.
Ragi mudda and nati kodi pulusu combination you must try. Some times it tastes superb, other times good.
Never ever try king kodi biryani... You will burn alive. Chefs throw all the mirchi they get while preparing I think. (we experienced once).
Konaseema halwa is OK, no need to try.
Service is very good and very fast, as they add 6% service charge to bill. (equivalent to tip, so no need give extra tip)
We have ordered Biryanis and starters form here like multiple times. It's so good. I have heard bad reviews from people who have been to the restaurant but probably it's the ambience. The home delivery is always on time and with one biryani two people can easily get full. There is a special chicken biryani(shit I am salivating) then the normal chicken biryani, the prawns briyani and the mushroom biryani. UpTo the mark.unbelievable taste . In the starters must try are baby corn Manchurian, Andhra chicken fry and guntur chicken fry. I don't know why this restaurant has a very less rating. If its the place I urge the management to make a restructuring because your food is good. I will back you guys out with my word of mouth. Thanks for your yum biryani
Had Raagi Mudda and Pot Biryani.
Food quality - Decent 4/5
Price - Very affordable 5/5
Service - 3/5
Ambience - Bad 2/5
Overall...3.5/5. Not bad a place to visit once or thrice :)
Food is very good but very spicy. But I should not complain about the spice because being spicy is the authenticity of the cuisine they serve. I love their Mutton Biryani and Natukodi Chicken. Its always very crowded and hence one should go there if they have time to wait. Serving is fast but you might have to remind them about few items which they miss to serve very often.
I have ordered ragimudda from kritinga , which is really good , I strongly recommend try ragi sangati with pappu here...Best in Bangalore.
This restaurant one famous in Marathalli is mostly liked by the foodies who loves to eat spicy with exotic spices. Quality of food here is great. But food here will be real spicy unless you personally request them and customize them to your taste. Cucumber pieces helped us in the middle. You will feel more spicy than the taste. What i personally feel is the price charged is a bit higher for the food we are served with. But people who want to taste real taste and spices of andhra flavours like Moughal biryani etc this is the one right spot. Dont forgot to customize your food. ask them to make it little less spicy or you ll feel burning tongue.
The service here is good. You dont need to wait a long to get your food even though they have a huge dining almost filled everytime.
One restaurant you should not miss if need to have a real taste of ancient andhra spices.
I had experienced real andhra style food only in kritunga the food was very spicy ..good satisfied
Service is good .we have ordered bamboo chicken it was amazing...!well satisfied
Good food keep it up .....................
Thanks for giving nice food reasonable price and
Try once here you may like
I am not that used to their rayalseema cuisine. So found it really very spicy. The starters were good but less in quality. Their red chili chicken biriyani and green chili chicken biriyani are just fire bombs. But the pot biriyani was really good. But recently I felt that the accompanying items with biriyani has been degraded in quality.
But good place for having some spicy non-veg.
They give Kali of Tamilnadu. And native chicken is awe. But do stress out for less spicy gravy. Else I guarantee everyone that your resolve will be tested.
Although the bad rating on Zomato was a deterrent for us, the recent reviews suggested that the food was good here. And spicy too.
I and a friend of mine went there in the evening for Biriyani. We ordered Ginger Gobi for starters which although did not have any distinct ginger flavour, was good and spicy. We then ordered a Mushroom Biriyani and a Paneer Biriyani. The Biriyani is dum cooked. It was served with raita and sherwa. Also accompanying was a plate of overflowing green salad. Biriyani rice was a little dry on the top. But as we dug in, the mushroom/Paneer along with tender, spicy rice turned out to be what any spicy food lover would crave for. Even the quantity was more than just decent.
As far as ambiance and service are concerned, the service was quick. The ambiance is almost that of a typical Andhra style restaurant, but the brass water jugs and copper glasses stand out, and adds some character to it.
Service: 4/5
Ambiance:3/5
Food: 4.5/5
This place is definitely worth a try. For someone who enjoys spicy food in general, and spicy Biriyani in particular, this place is highly recommended.
I had been here on a friend's treat.. I ordered pepper chicken and mutton 65 for starters.. chicken was properly cooked.. mutton 65 was little spicy and people who don't love spice this is not the place for you.. We ordered sangati(Ragi ball) and rayalaseema curry for main course (this place is quite famous for that)
Ragi ball was very soft.. Cooked with special amount of ghee and rayalaseema curry added more worth to it.. over all if you love spice go for it otherwise a big noo.. I being a fan of spicy foods thumbs up for this place .. :)
I am actually surprised by the rating it got..2.8 is way to less of a good place... the spices were good.. we ordered green chilly biryani as they said it's spicy and it was spicy as well as rayalaseema chicken. It has a good enough ambiance.. Overall a very good restaurant... The best of the lot i tried here is Bamboo Chicken and that is a must try..
If you are really a big fan of Spicy food, then this is the place one must visit. N strictly not for those who can't take spicy foods. Raayalaseema Chicken at its best. Tried Ragi mudda and Nati kodi pulusu on one I ma frens suggestion. Lives up to the mark. So overall happy with the visit. 👍😊
Good and spicy food, real taste of Andhra taste and especially rayalaseema food is awesome here. Delivery in time..........👌👌👌👌👌😀😀😀😀
Awesome spicy delicious food.. the pepper mutton was the mutton version of deep fried chicken kababs and the staff told us that's how it's done in Rayalseema
I feel this place deserves 4, been there like 5+ times. The food could be extremely spicy for some people. I have wasted like 20 tissues every time I go there :) They have different varieties of biryani most of them tastes similar according to me but good. My favourite dish is Bamboo Chicken here. Its in my top ten favourite chicken starters.
Few Months back, my colleague gave his farewell treat at Kritunga… At first, I was irritated to go such a long distance from office for Friday lunch, but the travel was really worth it. I was thinking this restaurant serves Andhra Cuisine, what will be good for a vegetarian? But the time I had food, my misconception about an Andhra restaurant was changed; they really serve good Veg. Food also.
SPICIEST RESTAURANT OF INDIA I BET.
we ordered egg masala with roti and paneer biryani. Egg masala was out of the world in term of its spice level and paneer biryani was also awesome.
Peper chicken and red chilli biryani is also a must try for non-vegetarians, rates are reasonable with a lighting fast service.
The only reason I gave my birthday treat here was because my friends love biriyani and they all have a huge appetite.
We went there at around 2 in the afternoon and the staff took some time to find us a free table. The place is packed with people. We ordered 3 family pack biriyanis, chili chicken, non veg starters and a few aerated drinks. My friends ordered Ragi balls and mutton curry. Though I didn't taste it, it looked quite good. The biriyani was very yummy. I'm not really a fan of Andhra style cuisine but this Biriyani is an exception! The basmati was not over cooked. The chicken was soft and cooked well. The chili chicken was very spicy. Spicy is actually an understatement xD (I loved it though)
The service was good.
The only minus point was the noisy ambience. People were just jostling to get a table. But otherwise, a really good place for biriyani lovers.
Again coming to this place I have visited in Hyderabad.the food served over there is no doubt tasty but extremely spicy.we got mutton keema which was not good at all ,more of burnt flavor.the pot biryani was tasty but again extra spicy.....nd same with the gongura mutton we had.chicken 65 is manageable.
We have visited this restaurant twice and would definitely say it is worth it. The place is packed during weekends and ambience is pretty good. The waiter sat us down at a neat and clean table nothing fancy about it though welcomed us with copper pitchers and tumblers. In spite of the packed place we were literally amazed at how fast the order turned up at the table. They have a wide variety of briyani’s and the quantity and quality is also great. It is not too over priced and is quite affordable for the pocket. The overall experience was really good and would definitely suggest trying this place if you are a fan of Andhra cusine and spicy food.
I also ordered through Zomato and the delivery was on time. I am really happy with the way Zomato kept us informed about the delivery.
Good one for spice food eaters. I love spicy food so it's good for me. but some times I tasted too much spice(chilli powder). It's a bad choice for the people who don't eat spice food. Very spicy
Yesterday, I had ordered home delivery of Chicken Masala curry.
The order came in less than 20 minutes. Food was hot and serving was enough for 2 people. The curry was really good, it had a nice mix of spices, good smell of curry leaves, tasty spicy and not like "Tummy Burning andhra spicy". The chicken was fresh, unlike any other restaurant.
The on call executive who took the order and the delivery guy were at top of their behavior.
I am looking forward to visit the restaurant soon.
This is a pretty safe place to be when you want to have a scrumptious meal. Usually never disappoints with the taste and also got quite a variety of delicacies. Spicy? Yes, definitely. But somehow that shouldn't make this place avoidable, you just need to know which meal suits you the best. Been here quite a number of times. Choice of biryani : Pot Biryani is better among the dozen of varieties. In terms of prices, it's definitely on the higher side. I would prefer a more fancy restaurant for that price frankly speaking.
Very good place to Hogg. When you wanna have lots of biryani and have group of hungry friends as guests at your flat. Very crowded as it was Sunday evening. Hydrabad biryani and fish fry was great. Quick services and yes good view of marathalli road traffic.:)
Ordered special dum biryani...it was soo spicy and lots of flavours...liked the quantity and quantity of biryani...USP was in one server quantity 2 people elsy can hav..
If you are ready to dare some real spicy Rayalaseema food this is best place to go especially for Non - Veg.
Natukodi pulusu & Ragi snagadi is awesome especially Pot Biriyani, Mutton Roast.
Better avoid Fish item & Roti's.
Different types of rayalaseema items you can taste, Ambience is good and waiting time is less.

super taste, ippativaraku bangaloelo tinna restaurants the best ani cheppochu really it tastes good i loved it one small suggetion desserts kuda unte inka baguntundi
It was too crowdy place in the weekends it is Andhra restaurant with rayalaseema authentic food with ragi ball & nati kodi pulusu nice have here i mainly prefer here mutton kheema biryani this is only biryani was tasty all other biryani's wer ok ok taste here.
A good place for authentic and importantly SPICY(It actually makes you feel the mirch) Andhra food lovers.! The traditional dishes served here - Raagi mudha/jonna roti/Guthu vankaya, are worth tasting. The ambience is just regular, but the waiting to get a table at this place can kill your hunger. So if you'd ever want to be here, preferably be an early bird, so that you get to enjoy the SPICY food..
Kritunga restaurant is a good place for extra spice touch with reasonable prices. I just loved it. Specially ragi ball and Biryani.
Who doesn't love spicy food. . ? Food is bit spicy but that's ok if you Love biryani. . Loved the aroma of spices mixed in mutton biryani. . Loved bamboo chicken as well. .

As a South Indian and Biriyani lover, This place always was on the hit list. After tasting kritunga in Hyderabad, I was much excited to find it in Bangalore and paid my visit to there with all gastronomical anxiety.
Coming to food, as usual I ordered Chicken Biriyani. Well, let me tell you ,this place is always for spicy lovers. Those who don't love spicy affairs, peeps stay away from this. Chicken biriyani was good and I was a bit dissapointed as it didn't taste exactly like I had in Hyderabad but If u are a real spicy lover, You will be having one of the best biriyani's across bengaluru. One of my friend had Natukodi Biriyani's which supposedly was more spicy than the normal biriyani and It was good. We also took one chicken curry which tasted spicy yet decent.
Looking forward to taste more items in the next outing and overall It is an above average experience with authentic Andhra spicy taste. Visit atleast once to experience Andhra style of food.
Authentic Andhra food. Quality is good. Service is also good. It's very spicy if you are not used to spicy food. Nattukodi and pot Biriyani are super.
I usually order food from here on Sundays. This is authentic Rayalaseema. I love Ragi Ball with Brinjal curry.
Although I'm a vegetarian, I know what will be good at every place, as all of my friends are non-vegetarians.
So I suggested below items to my friends, they said that every item is delicious with spicy.
Gongora Chicken (Gongora is a green leaf name, its a telugu word)
Ragi Ball with Nati chicken curry
Ragi Ball with Brinjal Curry
POT Chicken Biryani
Tanduri Chicken
Only one cons is, if they call for home delivery they will delay it.
I would take a bow to the chef who sends me a wonderful Mushroom Biryani blended with a huge no.of varied spices , that rolls down the tears from my eyes for the very first spoon in my mouth.
A great place I would recommended for anyone who wants to taste andhra food at its best , and not forgetting try the Natukodi Biryani , Ragi Balls with authentic Mutton Murg Ghosh .
Always reaches to the expectations. No complaints.. if you find it spicy - order less spicy, its allowed.
One of my friend from andhra took me here & we tasted ragi mudda. The best thing to have here with a pinch of lemon & special andhra cutney. This dish is unique and everyone would try this once for sure.
If you love spicy food , this is the place . We ordered the chicken family pack . Quantity was good for 3 people . The place is usually very crowded , as I understand majority of people from south like spicy food .
The food will sure make you tear down . Service was slow because of crowd . Its not pricey at all . It serves authenticated andhra style spicy biryani's .
This place is creating buzz off late. So decided to try that food . ordered Hyderabdi chicken Biryani with Chicken curry . biryani was out of the world. The flavour produced by their secret combination of spice and condiments was unparalleled. Nothing great about curry though . highly recommend this place for biryani lovers
I have been to this place many times. It is super spicy Andhra style restaurant. When ever we visit this place never let down the taste and spicy. Visited Koramangala and Marathalli branches, both places are packed with crowd esp on weekends. My fav dishes are Bamboo chicken, raghi mudha, natukodi pulusu, java roti, guthi vankaya, hyd dhum biryani etc.. its goes on in this restaurant. Tried many items here esp pachadhi which comes along with raghi mudha too spicy and tasty. Finally my suggestion would be worth for having dine here who loves spicy food.
Kritunga-The name which is much known in Banglore for its Spicy Andhra Cuisine. Was Here for dinner today as my taste buds gone bland with regular food.We tried the Mutton Keema balls which were like hot cannon balls with spice burst in it and gone to their mutton biryani which was soooo flavor full and their famous Pot biryani which was not up to the mark as expected which lacked the dum flavours in it.Overall its good if you go for mutton and ralayaseema specials.
Heaven for Non-veg super spicy food.

Nyc place.. Decent ambience.. Its a very homie kinda place for having food nd fun with family.. Well most of the items on the menu are delicious.. But i wud recommend the chicken mughlai and one of the biriyani which they offer the first always.. I forgot the biriyani name although..
Although the place is not very organised, I am content with the quality of food they serve. We had ordered one Chicken Pot Biriyani which will be sufficient for 5 people. Other than that there is nothing much to be 'aww' about.
One friend has told me about the taste of rayalaseema style of biryani. I tried at Kritunga and from then became fan of biryani's available here. This review is applicable to Kritunga Restaurent in Marthahalli Branch only.
Overall experience is good.
The food quality is good. Little bit on the spicy side. The aroma and taste of biriyani is good.
Little bit disappointed with curry(veg side). Good for nonveg food
A must visit place for the traditional rayalseema cuisine. "Raagi Sangati" with spicy chicken curry is my personal favourite here. Chicken Biryani was decent, and this is the place to visit for spicy food lovers.
Awesome food and great service. We were 11 people and the food was amazing!!! Briyani was too good. And the garlic fish was too good. Dosa and chicken was really good as well. Definitely recommend :)
A good andhra cuisine in amidst of a busy area.. Usually crowded. Do expect waiting for a seat if you are visiting in weekends. Food is spicy. Serving is quick. It's neat and clean. Ambience is good. Worth the visit.

Food is spicy and good. Hyderabadi style biriyani's are a speciality here. Problem is everytime you go there , you have to wait behind a long queue and they do not take seat bookings 😑
Great food and Ambiance!! good service!! Too spicy for some people but still a must try if new in the city! I heard that there are long waiting times but in my case the food came pretty fast and tasty. Tried Andhra chicken with ghee pulka.
A place which serves andhra cuisine most famous for its ragi balls and pot biryani. Andhra cuisine is known for its spices and masala gravies they add to the food. I am not a great gan of ragi so i couldnt try that. We ordered chicken drumsticks and chicken majestic among the starters. The drumsticks were amazingly spicy, just the right amount of spicing needed in a chicken delicacy. The chicken majestic was also good. Among the biryanis we ordered pot biryani, roast chicken biryani and chicken special biryani. However when i tried the pot biryani, it was an average tasting biryani. I had in my mind that the biryani is baked in a pot but honestly, its just served in a pot. Roast biryani was average again. The quantity of rice was great but they are not generous when it comes to meat. I found the chicken pieces are pretty less. The raita was amazing but i didnt like the korma or the curry served along. Overall a worth trying place as starters are too amazing.
Have tried almost all of their biryanis. All of them are good to taste. Chicken rayalseema deserves a special shout out. My favourite combo is ragi ball with chicken rayalseema.
The restaurant is generally very crowded and so we decided to take a parcel. We odered a Green Chilli Biryani. The quantity is such that two people can eat from a single Biryani. You are definitely going to feel the presence of green chilli as the Biryani is really very spicy, as we wanted it.
A very good south Indian restaurant. It is best for Telugu people and people who like spicy and masala food. Everything is good here. Chicken Biryani is awesome. There is a lot of rush in the afternoons one weekend waiting. Worth the waiting. Normal serving and ambience.
I love spicy food and the biryani here was heavenly. I ordered their egg biryani and sides. We also ordered chicken started and house special biryani. It came in good quantity too. I just loved it. Ambience is not that great but the service was pretty good. Must visit if you enjoy good biryani!!
We went to this place one Friday at around 12:30pm. The ambience from outside is hardly noticeable as it is located on the second floor. And the place looks very dingy from outside. Once we reached the restaurant, it was packed full. We were a group of 4 girls so we somehow managed to get a table of 4. The ambience is my opinion was not THAT great. It was stuffy and a little conjusted. The tables were also too small and we felt it was hard to eat on those tables. I loved the huge hug where water was kept and the water was pretty good and thankfully we didn't have to order water bottles. That's the first place I have been to in six months where I didn't have to order a water bottle. We ordered Loose Prawns, Chicken 65 and Mushroom Manchurian as starters. The Loose Prawns were really good but I wish the salt was less by a hair. The chicken 65 and the mushroom were spot on. Being a hardcore non vegeterian, I was surprised to find the mushroom tasted better than the non veg starters. After starters, we took Red Mirchi chicken briyani and a Panneer briyani. The Red Mirchi briyani is definitely not for the faint hearted :P It was super spicy and i loved it. There were ample chicken pieces and the meat was perfectly cooked. The Panneer briyani was not spicy but tasted very good and there were again lots of paneer pieces and they were cooked perfectly. The service was pretty slow initially but then once the starters were served, everything arrived at once and we hardly had place to keep the dishes. The waiters were courteous. We felt the prices were reasonable, considering the quantity and taste.
Food : 4.5/5
Ambience : 3.5/5
Service : 4/5
My only suggestion would be to maybe get a bigger place and also the service should be properly timed. The Starters should be served first and a little time in between before the main course is served. If they are all going to be served at the same time, then the table should atleast be a little bigger:)
An excellent place I would definitely recommend for spicy food lovers :D
This place is a relief when you're out for lunch/dinner among the limited options in Marathahalli. I usually try to go this place when I want to have spicy food. Brain fry and Head fry are amazing here (very spicy). Ragi mudda (Sangati)/ Ragi balls with Paya/ natukodi pulusu are good combinations. Chicken Biryani is one among the best biryanis of the town. They have their flavours right.
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 3.5/5
Food for two costs between 600 - 800 rupees.
One of the great places to dine at. The varieties of food offered here will make u come again and again. One must try the Gungura chicken biriyani and brain fry here. Other different biriyanis are also good. Pepper mutton is another dish I would like to recommend.
Given the limited options in Marathahalli, this place is a relief when you are out for lunch and prefer to go somewhere near. Being a Andra style restaurant, the food is quite spicy so if you don't have that spicy appetite then better brace yourself. The service is prompt even though we visited at the peak hour when the place was full to capacity. All in all a good experience.
Excellent and spicy food...more likely of authentic rayalaseema food (andhra style), pot biryani is nice and ragi sangati with gongura mutton and chicken is awesome...most preferable
Amazing food if you love spicy Andhra cuisine. The restaurant gets really stuffy during peak lunch/dinner time and the waiting time sometimes can be more than 30 mins. Definitely try eating Kheem or natu kodi biryani. Good value for money. Little low side on the ambience though!

After long time we tasted good biriyani. We tried spl chicken biriyani, prawn, chicken then pot chicken biriuani.
Out of these spl chicken biriyani was outstanding and prawn was ok kind.
Eventhough restaurant was full to the capacity we got our seat within 5 minutes. Service was very quick.
Ambience seems good but restaurant was overflowing so I can't comment on ambience.
Don't go if you are looking for less spicy food.
Tasty and spicy..
Chapati : love it 5/5
Ragi Mudda and Gutti vankaya kura: 5/5
Veg Biryani: 4/5
But, Kritunga in Koramangala is even better.
Nice place for a biryani lunch
I love spicy food and the biryani here was heavenly. I ordered their egg biryani and sides. We also ordered chicken started and house special biryani.
All spicy as promised, but not so spicy that it tastes bitter.
However they were so slow in getting the veggie orders that we had to wait for 40mins before cancelling it, and the management didn't seem to be bothered that we cancelled and had a argument with the waiter.
Their lack of interest in hospitality was disappointing. Also it is advisable to book tables before dropping in as it is usually crowed with the local techies
Would love to visit their branch in jayanagar and hope the hospitality is better.

Tried their special chicken biriyani (which is boneless). Taste is very good. They got their flavours right. The level of spice is very high and would enjoy if you like spicy food. Probably you can accompany it with some soothing beverage—cool drink, buttermilk, etc. But if spicy food is not for, then stay clear of this.
Very Spicy.. 😎 👍 both Veg and Non Veg food taste was good. Delivered Very fast.!! But forgot one packet...😜 But still food delivery also fast and good... They should make sure all packets are packed n sent to customer before delivery boy starts.... Overall Food was awesome...

Get a pack of tissues before you step into this place for the food here is so very spicy. Otherwise, there are no complaints. If all you need is some good biriyani and south Indian curry at affordable prices, kritunga is the place you should be in.
We regularly go for team lunch here as it's near to office and many of team members are fond of biryani and spicy food. Service is quick nothing fancy just spicy food.
This was near to my place and I used to visit frequently like twice in a week. I loved this restaurant so much as I am a spice lover. This is a Andhra restuarant nd serve spicy traditional dishes. For veggies signature dishes are ragi balls nd gutti vankaya. For non vegs there are so many. Here you can get that hyderabadi dum biryani which is damn good. Even though the restuarant is always crowded service is quick. Ambience is okay nd price is reasonable. Overall all best place to hang out for all Andhra spice lovers.
Kritunga is one of those Andhra style restaurant where in you can get one of the healthy food that is popular in Karnataka called the ‘Ragi Balls’. And also a place is famous for the Andhra style food which is spicy and has lots of masala. I usually try to go to the place when I want to be able to try such a food. This review is about the food I recently I tried from the Maratahalli outlet.
Location
If you are coming from Sarjapur Outer Road junction heading to Maratahalli. Drive through on the ring road until you get the under-pass where Cisco office can be found to the right side. As you keep driving there is a stretch of open space and then there is a series of buildings to the right and left. Kritunga board can be seen to the right side and it is situated opposite to MORE on the left side.
Food
This is the most critical part of restaurant which I like.
Ragi Mudda (Sangati) / Ragi Balls
This is very difficult to make coz it needs the ragi power is also put in hot water. It requires constant churning. And the mix needs to come out soft as semi-solid but then you can make huge ball of it. Here in the restaurant it is made quite well. It tastes quite good with green leave sambar or the brinjol masala gravy.
Gutti Vanakaya (Brinjol)
A subji that is full of gravy and contains the full pieces of brinjol that are usually cut into 4 pieces. The masala is stuffed inside the brinjol and outside. It tastes quite good with the small pieces of ragi balls.
Veg Biryani
This is something I wanted to try at the restaurant. It was a pretty decent biryani with the spices and veggies added in it. They had given salan and raita which were good. A good place to take Andhra style biryani where in the masalas used are Andhra style.
Overall Experience
A good place to have lunch or dinner. Infact, I think the place is so popular that they have multiple chains in Bangalore. If I am not wrong, they have nearly 5-6 outlets in Bangalore which shows the likeability to the taste among people. My overall rating is 3.5/5. Very much tempted to rate it higher but then I feel it’s right at the rating I gave. May be 2-3 more trials will help me rate this higher.

Food for 2 will cost anywhere between INR 400-600.
Loved the mutton biryani. It had a really mouth watering aroma and was super delicious. Its a nice place to have dinner and they provided good service and we didnt have to spend too much time waiting for the food to arrive.
Very very good service...super spicy food.very tasty...biriyanis take the back row...paya soup was amazingly hot..a good prep for what came afterwards... Rayalseema mutton fry+curry + ragi mudde awesome..gongura chicken was well made.topped it with jowar rotis and gulab jamun.
I had severely underrated this place and I was glad to be proved wrong. Had visited the koramangala outlet earlier but this turned out to be way better.
The starter which I ordered was the 'pot kebab' ,in which the small chicken pieces were flavoured and served in a pot. More like a desi sizzler. I must say , they had nailed it . The chicken was succulent and the spices were just perfect. I had wiped it off my plate even before the biriyani arrived.
The biriyani too was great. Powerful aromas ,strong flavours should be apt description for the Nizam's biriyani.
Overall the service was good too.
Wonderful mouth watering Biriyani. Totally a different taste. Lots of spices. Would like to have every weekend. Need to try some more items.
Kritunga is well known for rayalseema's taste of food. Spicy lovers can prefer this place and specially fish lovers can try fish biryani yummy.
Ambience is good and service is also good.
Prawn starters are superb you guys can give a try in this hub.
Yesterday I visit this restaurant.really very nice food and nice biryani.when I ate that biryani I feel like am in Hyd.yes, that's good environment.and especially Raghi mudda and natu Kodi pulusu is very delicious and spicy.in marthahalli area one of the best restaurant.
Some times we do things that have some serious consequences, yet we do, as the task is worth the consequence. You like chilly, this is the place for you. Everything here comes with a dollop of chilly added to the dish.
We started with Fried Mutton Kheema balls- tasted very good, food quantity.
Paya Soup - Spicy with pepper, good taste and a few other dishes.
We also tried the pot biryani- it was good, not very dry, pieces were a bit small though.
Also do order the butter milk to wash down the food.
Tl;DR - Come here for the spice and morning after regrets :)
Andhra style Spicy food and very economical. Loved this place. Pot biryani is good and frowns fry is awesome. Service is also decent so worth of money...
spicy food for spicy lovers

We had ordered for team dinner from this place. We ordered for andhra style and also biryani. We liked the food but gravies could have been better. I need to plan for a dine in next time.
One of the best spots in Marathahalli to eat authentic Andhra food. Because of its proximity to many companies , its always crowded. Water is served in brass vessels which gives one a nostalgic feeling. If you want to eat a spicy biryani , this is the place to be. This hotel has given the other two restaurants like Nandhini and Meghna a run for their money.
Was here for a treat hosted by one of my friends. One of the best places in Bangalore to have Andhra style food. Awesome taste. Amazing place for real ethnic Andhra food.
We ordered some authentic items of Andhra- Kamju Fry, Nattukodi fry, nattukodi Iguru, Ragi Mudda and pot birayani.
For me though it was extremely hot and spicy, But it was total worth for real taste. Highly Recommended for foodies.
A good spot for authentic Andhra food, pot biryani was spicy and good. It gets irritating at times owing to the crowd the restaurant experiences.
Been there a long time ago with my office colleagues. The place is totally over crowded, haven't seen this much of rush on a weekday lunch at any place ever!! With a crowd like that, they were still able to maintain the cleanliness of the place. The biryani was good and spicey in taste. The cost was friendly to pocket.
If you love spicy food and Lotta meat then this is the place you want to go. They are truly Rayalseema...yes from their original time of opening they have reduced their spice but yet they top my list of spicy restaurants. What you should try: Keema biryani, prawns biryani, pot biryani. In gravy my favorite is Rayalseema chicken and gongura chicken...goes well with jowar roti or rice.
Recently they reduced their quantity of biryani by introducing containers I hope they will bring back their old packing to give us our loaded biryani's 😁
Good Andhra Restaurant .Great Ambiance ,Spicy food served ,Many varieties of Briyani .Good place for Telugu Guys living in Bangalore .Alebelly Chicken is one thing where spicy fried chicken with full of garlic is served in paapad .Briyani was awesome .It could be like two sufficiently serving three people.Mutton Variety was available .Sheek Kabab was one thing which needs to be tasted .Many kinds of Briyanis need to be tasted for Sure .They also serve less spicy once informed earlier.
On saturday afternoon, we are in office so we have ordered both veg and non veg dishes for around 20 people from kritunga restaurant.
We have ordered almost all varieties of veg and non veg. All non veg dishes were good in taste, spicy but oily. Biriyani is hyderabadi style and its good in lookwise and taste wise also. Gravies were spicy it made us to eat roti well.

Overall we have good experience
If you are a Telugu guy living in Banglore..This is a place of must visit for you...food is real tasty and originally Andhra, prices here are also pretty decent.
Chillllliiiiii is the flavour of the restaurant .. A very casual place with a decent food.. With a equal measure of vegans and not so vegans was able to gauge the restaurant.. Firstly the vegans dont have that much of an option to choose from. What ever was available was decent , we tasted baby corn and paneer and koftha jawar rotis n biryanis in veg. Expect the hard paneer the food tasted decent spicy and hot.jawar roti was new and din disAppoint
The real taste of rayalaseema that this the speciality of this place. The non vegans ordered naatukodi and ragi and after which we were running short of water ,for it was tooooooo spicy for a normal person but that is how authentic rayalaseema food is... Later the guys din have it in them to try more authentic food and settled for indo chinese...
My suggestion would be go try Wats authentic and you wont be disappointed
But the other cuisines like Chinese n north indian r not a speciality here n u can find in any other restaurants in the city..
Go n have a chilli feast...
The leg soup, special biriyani, bamboo chicken were really good. Its a crowded place so better plan to reach before 1pm if you are planning for lunch during weekend.
Food is very spicy . If you cant eat very spicy food its better to avoid. Otherwise its one of the good place for biriyani lovers.
Been there 2tyms... Food & ambiance was excellent... Must try the Pot Biriyani & Kadai paneer... Both are awsm.. Nice place to eat. Staffs are friendly.
Typical Andhra spicy restaurant and this is big restaurant. Can see servers talking in walky talky. Must try is Ragi muddae don't miss it. Pot biriyani is nice. Bamboo chiken not good . Weekend waiting time is around 45mins.I have been to this place 4 times.

Very very delicious and spicy spicy.
Mmmmm I a big fan of it super. But this restaurant not available in online apps like food panda, tinyowl etc. Its a big disappoint for me
Spice is not one of term that I can use for their Briyani... Woow mouth watering and at the same time you eye watering as well .. Hehehe .. Jokes apart . but a serious deal for their railseemaa style of telegu .. I jus loved it and all my friends did love them like crazy ..
People from chennai and Tamil nadu are good know for their spices .. But this was totaly Extreme ...
Mutton keema briyani was the special I guess as far I tasted .. As this was a home delivery experience I don't know how the restaurant looks and couldnt rate team on that ..
Food is simply good for people who love nice extra spicy food ..
It's crowdy place.. Went on Sunday.. After 10 min wait we got place..
Items tried:
1) chicken drumsticks
2) kadai chicken and butter nan
3) country chicken Biryani
4) jamuns
Cost is more, taste is ok.. Spicy.. Biryani was good.. Apart from that ok...
Not good place to spend time.. Waiters will force you to eat and leave the place as so many people are waiting.. Orders they will bring very fast and serve very fast.. Everything very fast..
Damn cool and I recommend this restaurant. Enjoyed pot chicken briyani, mutton dum briyani, ghee rice and jeera rice with dal curey
This one especially a mouth watering one I would say. After long time a feel like had an absolute rocking dinner.
We ordered lunch from Kritunga at office. Veg biryani was Lil more spicy for me but tasted good with vegetables like Carrot, beans and cauliflower. Curd rice was good. Chicken biryani was just ok.
I was very hungry when I visited this place. Ordered paneer chilly and chicken pot biryani. As all other andhra restaurant, even these people dint forget to add few extra chillies. Very spicy food. Not recommended when you are very hungry.
The vegetarian dishes over here were really nice, certainly above expectation.
We tried Indian breads along with palak paneer , vegetable kofta and starters like babycorn Manchurian.
It wasn't really heavy on the pocket and the service was quite fast as well.
I visited this place for the first time with my office friends. I didn't know about ragi mudda back then. But since that visit, I became a big fan of kritungas ragi mudda and country chicken curry. It became an addiction now. The mutton fry, chicken lollipop, mutton biriyani - all got its signature taste. Must visit if you are in Bangalore...
If you love spicy food, this is the place. Extreme spicy. We ordered red chilly chicken biriyani, green chilly chicken biriyani and mushroom chilly fry. Red chilly biriyani was spicy. Green chilly was super spicy. Mushroom chilly fry was nice. Would recommend this place for spice lovers. Their raggy mudha is famous. Will try it next time.
We ordered a Chicken Pot Biryani, a Red Chilly Chicken Biryani, a Prawn 65 and a couple of drinks. The biryani was well prepared, with an authentic hyderabad taste! The prawn was a bit hard; and the waiter was quick to respond to it! As a whole, I had a good dinner (Read sumptuous) at a very reasonable price!

nice place for family dining, traditional south food.....ordered natukodi biryani, was tasty and hell of spicy.spicy lovers should vist this place non spicy people got to be careful though everything was spicy of course hell of tasty!! people looking for new taste will definately love this place and its an affordable too based on bangalore expenses.non spicy guys again be careful,i had a running nose while eating damm spicy cum tasty!
When u decide to have some really spicy food with a low budget run to this place ! Every andhra guy has to love this place ! It has won me over with its menu card ! Felt like digging into the card and eating :D hats off for that ! Coming to the food yes, it was good !a little bit better than good but not the best ! Nevertheless the spices they use just bring a joy to our taste buds ! Will def return to this place whenever I need some andra food
Recently on a Friday we ordered prawn Biriyani and chicken Biriyani family pack from Kritunga. We ordered a very spicy chicken Biriyani need to check once more the exact name. it was all fine except the packing - probably in a home set up such a pack will not make a difference where we have bigger vessel to pour the content and then mix and serve equal portions to all. But in this case we were in our office hence we were directly sharing or pouring from the packet. The layers of only rice or meat made it difficult. It's a suggestion to the management - when food is served to office - pls mix the content and send. In another office lunch we ordered for prawn biriyani and fish biriyani. The prawn biriyani had loads of prawns. The fish biriyani is average, wish the fish was less fried and kept as chunks.
Visited this place since its close to my office and my meat lover colleagues crave for their spicy chicken curry and chicken biryani. I, however would love to revisit this place for their Jawar roti and Gutti Vankaya which is utterly deliciously and mouth watering.
I was watching the trends of this restaurant for quite sometime and finally went with my team members on one Friday noon. I was surprised to see the restaurant full of people than biryani smell. It resembled a marriage function. Let me switch over to the main aspects - this place doesn't pose a great ambience to ideally suit a restaurant environment but is a best suit for it to be called as hi-tech mess. Each seating table has a number affixed to it and you will get the appropriate seating based on your queue and number of seats you need (unique style of allocating seats) and this style will endure your patience for atleast 30 min. During this waiting period, we got a chance to review the menu card and we finalized our menu of food items.
As soon as we got our seats allocated we ordered our food and as a sigh of relief we got the food served within 15 min which was surprisingly quicker than expected. Our order comprised of Ragi balls, country chicken curry, apollo fish, chilly chicken fry. Except Ragi balls and country chicken curry nothing else was convincing. Chilly chicken was not at all good, it was almost in raw form and moreover were hard pieces to chew.
Service was in better terms but not at the best.
For the ambience and seating provided, costing looked bit higher too. Next time I would prefer to be reliant with take away option than visiting the restaurant. Certainly not suitable for families to enjoy considering the ambience.

Wow! The biriyani's! Have tried them all and it's all just super yum! Tandoori is a highlight! This place is known for its spicy stuff! The place keeps up it's name when it comes to ambience and service too. So overall it's worth a visit man!
great place for spicy andhara food. i ordered garlic fish fry, paya curry, jawar roti, ragi mudde. the food was spicy and well prepared as expected. the service as quick although not very polite and the ambiance is okay for an eating place. go here only for the food which is very tasty. do try the pot biryani. TIP: use the takeout counter to getthe same food and then you can eat it with ease at your convenience.
Amazingly Hot and Spicy 🍲... A huge variety of Biriyani... Bamboo Chicken is superb.. Even vegetarians can enjoy if they like the spice... It's a Foodies outlet..
If you are staying near Marathahalli, then this is the place to taste Andhra-style Biriyani! Surely, one of the best restaurants in the area. Had been to this restaurant a couple of times and it never disappointed.
One of my favorite dine in place in Banglore. The biryani is so spicy and i love to eat it. The service and ambience are okay but the taste of biryani especially mutton bilal biryani is awesome. Do visit and try once.
It's so spicy, better have a soft drink along with that.
Got mutton biryani and chicken manchurian from here as take away. The food was so spicy and the taste was great too. The quantity was like 2 people can eat stomach full of food bought for 1 person. Meat and rice were cooked perfectly. Great place for royalaseema andra food.
The name itself means Krishna+Tungabhadra.
Really lived the food especially Rayalaseema special Raagi Sankati with chicken curry. The ambience is normal but they serve in copper vessels. People who like to eat fish, must try Korameenu fish garlic fry. My favorite dishes are pot chicken biryani, raagi sankathi, fish fry.
Excellent place! Went here for dinner last night. Its walking distance from Innovative multiplex and has a takeaway counter at the ground floor for convenience. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor. It was quite empty when we reached but the place became jam packed by the time we left. I had heard about the spice levels of this place and being a spicy food lover, had big expectations. We ordered the green chilli chicken biryani, natu kodi iguru, egg bhurji and lime soda. And boy oh boy - the spice hit me right from the first bite. Enjoyed every bit of the biryani and natu kodi. In fact, the latter was out of the world! Even the egg bhurji was extremely spicy and delicious! The service was also prompt and effective. A very good dining experience. I am definitely coming back for the other biryani!
The food here will surely make you cry! :) Some of the items we ordered were very spicy - but i guess that was the expectation anyway.
Ambiance is ordinary, parking is a pain since the parking is available only on the service road. The day i went there, the lift was not working so had to climb up 4 floors!. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon at 2.30 - so for sure this is a hugely popular place.
Rayalseema chicken curry was nice, Bamboo chicken was nice as well. Biryanis were good.
Overall - food was good.
Hi ,
This is Reddy,
Hv been visited this place lot many times, food taste was too good, especially spicy foods and also NATU KODI PULUSU, Motton Biryani was too good,
People who likes to Hv spicy( very hot) food can visit this place,
Parking is also available now at left side of the restaurant building,
Reasonable Cost.
Went for a family lunch on a sunday. It was fully packed and many more in waiting. After a few minutes we got a table. We ordered red chili chicken biryani, green chili chicken biryani, kadhai chicken, naan and roti. We found waiters and men at service at our 1 call in-spite of the amount of rush. Order was served within 5-7 minutes. Food was good and absolutely delightful, except for green chili chicken biryani, that had tasteless chicken pieces. Prices are reasonable. We will visit again.
My search 🔍 for spicy Andhra food ends here
I have heard lot about this place especially bamboo chicken from friends and strangers on train..
So I went their with friends and ordered prawns fry n kamju pitta roast n bamboo chicken
Prawns n kamju pitta are good n spicy.. Just the way I liked it.. Bamboo chicken was a huge disappoint though.. Quantity too
Natu kodi biryani was awesome..
Worth visiting..
We ordered food from here via zomato so can't talk about the ambience, but their delivery was on time. The food was great. A bit oily but great taste. After a long time we has such spicy food. The bheja fry that we ordered was the best and spiciest
The road leading up to Kritunga is not very appealing, and neither is the entry to the restaurant. Also, parking can be an issue, since this is on a narrow service road. However, the restaurant itself is quite nice and is definitely a family place. For someone like me who is not very familiar with Rayalseema cuisine, there are a lot of dishes on the menu which I havent even heard of before. We tried the chicken cooked in bamboo appetizer followed by the gongura chicken curry and the fish curry. All the food was very tasty, and the flavors were unique albeit very spicy. Do make sure to order a lot of curd along with your currys.
Hot and Spicy.
Taste - Thumbs up
Quantity - Thumbs up+

Ordered online. Great Paneer Biriyani. No more Words.
We loved the food. Lot many options for NON-Veg. Lunch today was a great experience with family. Ragi Sangati with mutton gravy was delicious.. YSR photo on the wall impressed my Aunty a lot(which shows true love and real respect to great legend).
I was a little sceptical about this place initially after I read reviews about how spicy the food here is. But still however happened to visit since it is known for its amazing food...
A friend recommended the ragi balls with chicken curry. And I must say, it was amazing.
I've never eaten ragi balls before and for a first timer, it was amazing. Just make sure you dip less into the chicken curry to experience a non spicy non deadly meal.
Also tried some mutton starters and veg bridal... Not bad at all ☺
Overall - good food. Would recommend.

Hi, All!
Here I am with another follow up for you to try. KRITUNGA,Marathalli. Amazing !! Yes, one word for the food. Andhra style foods are known to be spicy enough to make your eyes water. I started with the food at once, is not it? Well, it is because I loved the food :) .
Located just on the service road, easily visible, on the 3rd floor of the building , a large room, with plenty of enjoying customers, is the view you see as you enter. Clean, bright and a family food place you can count on.Four of us, were enough stuffed to even try dessert, that too no starters( Do try some and let me know how are they.) So go out there, try some lovely Marumili Village Bamboo Chicken, Pot Biriyani. The vegetarians can try Kadhai Paneer- spicy , tasty and filling, as Paneer is the one ingredient you will mainly see in the Veg. category. Kritunga, please do add some more vegetarian dishes!
2 Pot Biriyanis were enough to fill three people.
The content of spice, chillies in the food made me give an extra 0.5 star to Kritunga!
Guys and girls, go grab some!
Happy Eating!!
Very huge place and good tasty food. Since it is a rayalseema restaurant many of the dishes are very spicy but i will not consider this negative as it serves perfect rayalseema delicacious. Bit late service but staff is generous enough. You can enjoy movie at nearby multiplex aftr having full fleged dinner here.
You haven't tasted south if you haven't tasted kritunga, people find it mostly crowded during lunch time especially on Fridays and that's due to dozens of IT companies around the location, some north indians won't like the food as the level of spiciness is on another planet, wide range of biriyanis available and i have tasted all of them and haven't regretted any.
They also serve ragi mudde, and jowar roti with natti koli saaru, which is quite rear to find on this part of the city,
Ragi mudde is so soft that one of my friend taught it was kesari bath of different color.
However the management needs more experience handling huge crowds like this, and often there were exchange of items in the bill, between tables.
The name itself the combination of 2 rivers Krishna and Tungabhadra. The founder of the food joint is from one of the village from Andhra which is situated at the joining point of these 2 rivers. While starting this food joint he has this dream to place his locality name on top with serving good quality spicy Andhra food. They are using almost spices from Andhra directly. They buy it directly from the farmer and ground it freshly and packing it for Bangalore. That's a really good thing to beat the mixing things in spices and maintain a good quality.
Marathalli outlet is situated at outer ring road of Marathahalli. In the building you have to take a very new age technology lift. Which is a very slow and making sound while moving oh my god save me Lol? The ambience is nice with a long crowd every time for their famous food.
I have tried their jawar roti and gutu vankaya curry. In which small size of brinjals used with highly spiced think paste gravy. I like it because I use to it from my college time in Visakhapatnam. Service is decent I can't call it good. Because they are not trained guys. But the food is good you may try if you can sustain with red chillies. They have more dishes to try out like natikodi biryani (country chicken biryani) and Andhra mutton curry.
Bon Appetite @ Chef BB
Amazing restaurant for spicy food lovers,
You need to try the andra chicken fry with bone,
Nizam , roasted and red chili chicken briyani.... Ho mouth watering dishes....
To finish with try white rice with rayalseema curry, rasam........ But careful you might get addicted to it.
The second time I have visited this place after my fellow Andhra foodie insisted on having biryani here.
Loved the raagi balls with mutton curry and fried chicken biryani.
Not to miss, one of the spiciest biryani I had ever in Bangalore!!!
Wanna different spicy food...chalo kritunga...flavors of Rayalaseema...so many variety..that too spicy food...superb place...superb food...but only concern was slow service and normal ambiance....if updated it will be a very good place with in budget...
Had heard a lot about this place. But didnt experience the same as i had heard.
We ordered Natukodu biriyani and mutton handi biryani and guess what both were so much salty that i was not even able to eat one spoon.
Brain fry was something which was edible but damn spicy.
So my experience was somewhat Salty and spicy instead Hot n Spicy.
will try again to prove myself wrong. Today is the second time I visited kritunga n guess what i was wrong in the first place. We ordered natu kodi fry n natu kodi biryani. Man i have just one word " Mindblowing" . Even the biryani portion they are serving is more than sufficient for 2people. Rates are OK compared to the portion they are serving. Would expect the same quality n quantity going forward.
Excellent Spicy Rayalaseema Food, Love going there every week.
Quality of Food(On Premise) - I would rate it as Very good
Quality of service - A bit slow but acceptable not to mention a very friendly staff always eager to help you in suggesting items
Pricing - Costly for the quantity they provide, but acceptable
Things to try out - Raagi Muddha with Nati Kodi Chicken, Jolla Roti with Nati Kodi Chicken
My first visit to this restaurant. I decided to visit this based on the spicy reviews that others have. Ambience is good. There are no table reservations. At around 1 pm we had to wait close to 40 mins to get the table. We went for bamboo chicken, chicken drumstick, pot biryani and nizam biryani. The biryani tasted the same just that it was presented in a different fashion.Everything tastes good but the items I told above and not so spicy. The service is prompt and fast. I would certainly visit next to try few dishes. 3.5 as they could make the waiting experience can be a bit better.
When you are in a mood to eat some real spicy food, do visit this place
Ambiance, service blah blah just forget n relish the delicious (spicy) food
Ordered bamboo chicken and Rayalseema chicken curry.... Loved it !!
Make sure u order a coke beforehand since you are gonna need it badly :P
Their biryani is super spicy. Both veg and non veg Starters are good. Rayalaseema specials ragi mudda, gutti vankaya, must try(especially if u r from rayalaseema)

Been to this place many times.
Starters : 2.5
We ordered chicken roast, bamboo chicken and garlic fish Manchuria. Only bamboo chicken is good.
Main course : 3.5
Ragi sankati and notu kodi curry is the best in this place. I always have it, they are maintaing the quality of it.
Pot chicken biryani is very good.
First things first.. this place is only for spicy food cravers.. (they will serve with zero spicy if mentioned while ordering)... kritunga gained lots of popularity through mouth talk.. for it unbeatable recipes(Especially natukodi) , place is very crowdy they do there best to get u a seat aeap, i suggest weekdays if u r a ochlophobic, dont expect ambience .. the dishes served are authentic south andhra food ull definetly hav a lip smacking experience
Must try: Ragi mudha,Gongura mutton,Pot biryani(Chicken) , Natukodi biryani
Cons: No much options in deserts and beverages ,weekends (food quality also compromises may b due to huge crowd)
If you are craving for spicy food, this would be THE place to visit. Mostly crowded, especially during lunch hours, this place packs a punch. It's recommended to visit a little early from the usual lunch or dinner timing and getting a seat would be hassle free. With over 20 varieties of Biryani, Kritunga definitely stands out among contemporary Biryani outlets. Pot biryani is a must try here. Be aware regarding the quantity while ordering a family pack, as it's quite sufficient to serve 4 people easily. I particularly liked their "Bamboo Chicken" dish. Try this on your next visit and you would be pleasantly surprised ( of course for non-vegetarians). Have heard a lot about their raagi mudde and rayalseema chicken curry. Maybe next time :) To summarize, Kritunga is worth visiting for a rich and spiced up dining experience.
Recently we went to Kritunga to have jowar roti and some chicken curry, one of my friends ordered ragi mudde. I never really liked ragi mudde but after tasting the same here with Andhra chicken curry we could not stop and ended up having another three, so great was the taste. This is the best place to try ragi mudde. Chicken biryani is also good here.
Back in India and desperate to get some taste of real INDIAN spices, someone suggested me to go this place. So as u@sual Zomato was the best place to know more about this place as u ppl are the best persons to share experiences. Reviews were mixed still thought of giving a chance.
Place z damn crowdy and filled with real Telugu foodies. You may have to wait till 1 hr so 1st rule reach b4 u gets hungry as they don't take reservations. I was damn hungry so never thought of any starter and simply banged on main course. Have heard really a lot about rayalseema spicy delicacies so ordered some really typical rayalseema food. Ordered Ragi mudde and rayalseema chicken curry and u should also do that if really u wanna know what is rayalseema cuisine, use u r hand properly to stir and then it melts in u r mouth and u can feel the rich spices of india . it was so yummy couldn't stop myself in 1. Then pot chicken biriyani wow amazing. Everything tasted so great k wanna come back here again n again. Service super fast energetic serving staff and mind blowing food what more u want to start a weekend.
Love India love Indian food....
What a place on the outer ring road to relish rayalaseema authentic dishes. The ragi balls are a must in my order. Their curries are typically more spicy take any curry or starter for that matter. Chicken and mutton Biriyani were not that great. But they really stand out for their authentic Rayalaseema dishes.
Food is good. It is Andhra style cuisine. Bamboo chicken is one the musts to have here. Only concern is waiting time is very long. We waited for almost 45 frustrating minutes , but food made it up for us.
Kirtunga, Marathahalli ..I have been to this place twice and it's always full house, damn !!! You might have to wait for a prolonged time to get a seat but it's worth the wait if you like SPICY food. I swear the definition of SPICY FOOD would be changed after eating at this place. We were in numbers so the dishes we ordered were diverse. Their menu is exhaustive and includes Chicken, Mutton and Fish.
Biryani portion was good and tasted nice. Rayalseema chicken starters are too too spicy. I like Fish more then chicken over there. Fish roast was something unique. So if you're truly a SPICY food lover then this place won't disappoint you.
Keep eating, Keep Loving.
Went to this restaurant for our manager's farewell party lunch & the place was jam packed!! Luckily we got a table for 12 that was available. The food is spicy n tasty. Typical andhra & rayalseema style. We ordered for Apollo Fish & 2 other chicken starters. The fish was better than chicken. Then we ordered 2 mutton & 1 chicken family pack biryani. It was a little too much cuz we packed one for home. About the ambience, there are just people people everywhere. Especially if u r going during lunch hours. The staff is OK not that great... You'll have to repeat 2-3 times to make sure they understood what u r saying.
Love the food. Biriyani is amazing. Tandoori is omg so yummy. I Never give restaurants such an awsum review but it is well worth it. Never had tandoori like dis. Mmmmm
If you are looking for spicy. Andhra food then this is THE place... Most of restaurants tone down spice factor in bloke.. But this place doesn't...good thing is food doesn't look spicy..ordered chicken biryani and it was tasty..Jowar roti is little disappoint as it was little bit hard...they don't serve meals...
Food :4.5
Ambience:3.5
Service: 4
Worth for price:4
Was been there couple of times and paneer biryani is the one which i liked the most here.
Really great placeto go for non veg food. The biryani variety is really great. Bamboo chicken is a must try. It is value for money. A must try.
The absolute flavors of rayalaseema. I have been a fan of their gongura chichken curry. Been there many times and each time I couldn't miss ordering that curry. Be ready to get the spices overwhelm your senses. Do not be sidelined by the ambience. All in all a no nonsense restaurant that is also a bit easy on your wallet
Food - 4/5
Ambience n service - 3.5/5
Value for money - 4/5
The real deal with spicy Andhra cuisines.. Out first visit on a Friday noon witnessed huge crowd and a waiting time if 20 mins.. It was very congested and unorganised but food made it worth the wait.. The second visit during weekend was far better and relaxed.. The staff is also prompt and courteous.. The starter which we ordered mutton 65 was really awesome.. The pieces were succulent and deliciously spicy.. Amazing biryanis - chicken pot biryani was of ample quantity and tasty so was natikozhi biryani.. The andhra mutton curry was extra spicy and felt something amiss but the chicken kohlapuri made up for any shortcomings.. The roti/ paratas were also soft and tasty.. Only lacking are the choice of desserts which is a necessity after a spicy affair.. Overall worth every visit..
If you love spicy food, you're going to love this place! Kritunga is famous for its biryanis and boy, they do a fabulous job! Try their boneless chicken biryani and their mutton biryani. Tried the Tangdi kabab too. They got the smokey, charred flavors right, but I wish they cooked the chicken a little longer. Stick to the biryanis though and you won't be disappointed.
These guys are so good because even though the biryanis are super spicy, the flavors aren't missing. Service is quick and the place is well-maintained. I love lots of spice on my food and generally go in for two servings of biryani. This one was delicious and I juuuust managed to get through one portion with lots of water and raita. Just saying.
Highly recommend it though!
Visited this restaurant with my office colleagues for lunch, we loved the food and the service. Food is tasty, spicy and yummy and the prices are very nominal (2.3K for 8 pax).
Their service was great and quick, we did not wait more than 10 min for our order to be served.
Chicken biryani here is worth trying... Would say a good option for take-away but not for dine-in. Did not find the ambience very attractive...
Had been here for couple of times. The last time I been here have to wait for almost half an hour to get a table. Starters were good and the biryani was awesome. Had a pleasant experience.
A nice place for an authentic Andhra/Rayalseema food. Have been there multiple times as it it close to my workplace.
We tried the below items
1. Chicken Majestic
2. Hyderabadi chicken [dry]
3. Dum Pot biriyani
4. Village bamboo chicken
The first 2 items were good. 1 dish is good enough for 2 people. The pot biriyani was very good. The rice had its flavor and the chicken was well cooked. Most importantly, it was not oily and over spicy.
The last item was a bit of a shocker. Village bamboo chicken is a must try for spicy food lover. By spicy I mean "REAL SPICY". *EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK*.
Jokes apart, the dish was really tasty but it was super spicy. Andhra food lovers usually enjoy it but for other please beware. I love the way the dish is served.
Except biryani everything tastes good
Specially natukodi pulusu and ragi ball combo is superb.
You can try happily and njoy
The ambiance also looks good
Craving for some very very spicy Andhra food? Then you should be definitely visiting Kritunga. They have three outlets in Bangalore - I visited the one in Marathahalli last Saturday for dinner. The place will be mostly crowded but we quickly got a table for two. The ambiance is decent and pretty hygienic. We ordered brain fry, chicken pot biriyani, mutton masala and ghee rice. The food was serve quite fast and in good quantity. However, for a person like me who prefers eating a bit less spicy, I was literally in tears. They had chillis all over the place - even in my ghee rice. I could hardly finish my food - had to parcel some of them. Biriyani tasted perfect as well - but again spicy. Overall, a nice place and not very heavy on price. Statutory warning for people who eat less spicy food - BEWARE!
Authentic rayalaseema cuisine at offer in kritinga. Super tasty and spicy food with a spread of dishes. Try the raagi sangati for a quick lunch. Also the bamboo chicken is OK. Their choices of biryanis are plenty and tasty. If you are heading out to this place on the weekend go an hour early as it is too crowded and difficult to get a table. Ambiance, service, food quality, varieties are excellent, except getting a table on a weekend which is difficult.

'Quality', 'Taste', 'Price', 'Hygiene', 'Service', 'Ambiance' and 'Variety in the Food Menu' are the most important attributes for any food place. This place excels in all these attributes and believe me, you won't be disappointed visiting this place!
Yes, the only negative thing, I noticed was the long waiting to get a table for 3. But, well, it's not their fault. The place is as famous as the others in the area of Marathalli and of course, having a crowd in a restaurant means that it sells well. ;) In fact, the way, they handle their crowds is quite efficient and their staffs are quite decent with their behavior while doing so. Thumbs up to this place! :) :)
A lazy Saturday and the appetite was high. That's when my neighbour asked me if we can go out. Went to kritunga and had chennur mutton puloa priced at Rs.180.
It's made of broken rice and the taste was fantastic. Spicy and adequate no of mutton pieces and well prepared. Too good and made me have a sound sleep back home
One of my friend has given party here and Had a good experience here, food was good. Cost efficient. One of the good food which you should go, if you like andhra food.
I've been craving to visit this one for a long time. I'm a big fan of spicy food as i've grown up eating such food back in Andhra. I've had food in Kritunga for the first time in Hyd in 2010 & now in Bangalore again. I've always loved all of the items they make. This time i had Natukodi Pulav with Natukodi pulusu & a bowl of Ragi Sankati. Natikodi pulusu & Ragi muddha combo was out-of-this-world taste. Very spicy it was. Real spice, like call-the-fire-engine types. And i loved every bit of it.
If you're a fan of spicy Andhra food, this is THE place & THE only place to visit. I can't drool over this food enough.
Must try dishes: Kodi Pulav (Chicken Pilaf), Ragi Sankati (Lump made of finger millet & rice flour), Jonna Rotti (South Indian bread made of Sorghum flour), Nati Kodi Pulusu (Country Chicken Soup Served as curry). Don't miss the light green chutney they give. It is on the house.
Please try any other dish & they're better than the Biryani people usually order.
Service was faster, but the servers were not trained to do a typical restaurant service. So don't expect such reception & service. Car parking is a big problem. If you're going on a Friday, get ready to wait for your turn. This place is real crowded & they usually allot you a table faster they say you've to wait, assuming you go in 3 or 4 numbers. Don't expect the ACs to work & even if they do, it isn't enough to stop the sweat because of the spicy food.
Food: Mouth watering good. Ordered pot biriyani, kheema meat balls, and andhra mutton curry, egg masala curry. All to die for.
Service: Quick and reliable
Ambiance: Decent decor, family friendly, not kid friendly. Over-crowded, obviously for the awesome food.
Good place to have food , there are many food varieties available here apart from the regular varieties there are different varieties of biryani's available here
It was good place to have spicy Andhra food with nice taste. Different options for food lovers . Red chilly biryani was quite good .and for some unknown reason bambo chicken was not good with some different smell
Went with some friends. Pot Biriyani was awesome ! Rayalseema Chicken Curry was fantastic with plain phulkas. A tad bit more salt in the curry. A couple of us downed butter milk, lassi just to deal with the 'after' spice. An unexpected explosion and pandemonium of spice as soon as one starts. Difficult to sense the spices other than one - DAMN SPICY ! If one is not a regular at Rayalseema cuisine, the crying, sweating starts within moments to follow. After a while when you brain has 'desensitized' the pain, the harmony of spices start to unfold and it becomes difficult to not order one more plain phulka just to savour the tediously blended spices in a Rayalseema Chicken Curry. By then, one wonders, how did they come so far in almost finishing of the biriyani or curry and enjoying a cuisine notoriously famous for its and spicy food. If you think you want spicy food or know someone who has been complaining about no spice in their food, send them the Kritunga way ! They are bound to enjoy a meal there, or else, one is likely discover true tolerance for hot and spicy food (Hindi : Bahut mirchi hai, Bangla : Oshhabhabik Jhal !)
Enjoy !
Nice taste of Andhra...spicy food 🍴 .
speed of service is good. Deserts are not available..
Had family pack mutton briyani with friends it is so tasty, spicy as well.
And also ordered raggi mudda with natti kodi pulusu. Taste is awesome.
If u r craving for some authentic andhra food then kritunga is the place..Ordered Apollo fish and kamju fry for starters..The fish was decent enough, did not like kamju though.Ordered pot biryani in the main course and it did not disappoint. The chicken was well cooked and the biryani had an authentic flavour with right amount of spices.Overall a nic place to try for lunch nd economical too..
After visiting koramangala branch, visited this place for friends party. Taste is awesome. But only difference I found is head curry is not much tasty when compared to Koramangala branch. Try pot Biryani also.
If you want to have some spicy food, here is the right restaurant for you. As being near to my office i went withy colleagues. We ordered two types of biryani, bamboo chicken. And we nevet regret of biryani, two different flavors, the curry given with biryani was the so hot, I could feel those strong spices now also.... Truly rayalsimma food... Bamboo chicken was just ordinary dish.... Next time planning for ragi balls... Very nice place to have Biryanis...
wonderfull place for rayalaseema spicy food...i had spicy dhum biryani and kaju pakodi it was mouth watering and soo delicious loved serving and amenities..
Ragi sankati and natu kodi pulusu..must try..remembers ethnic rayalaseema spicy food..everything else is OK..biriyani is also good..my regular destination when ever I feel like to eat spicy rayalaseema food
I would really feel happy When I went to this rest, Here food is good
Ambience: Is very bad
Ragi Mudda and Chicken Biriyani are my favourite.
I got a Kheema briyani for take out. since being a weekend , there was a heavy rush.
I was able to get my food in 10 min. The briyani was really good and even the quantity was high. This should be sufficient for two persons. It contains more ghee and adds to the taste of the briyani.
Went here for lunch with friends. We were about 15 of us and were really hungry. This is a typical Rayalseema style restaurant. So most of whatever u order will be spicy. We ordered for
Pepper chicken
Bheja fry
Chilly chicken
Ragi mudde with spicy mutton gravy
Chicken biryani family pack
Boneless chicken biryani
Pot chicken biryani
The starters that is pepper chicken and chilly chicken were really spicy yet flavourful. The ragi mudde goes very well with the mutton gravy..Just awesome ! The biryani we ordered was also very good. The pot biryani is served in a silver foil covered pot which brings that essence to the rice. The boneless biryani had pieces of chicken in red curry.. If you're a spice lover, this is a place u have to try. The quantity they serve is huge. Quality of food is a total value for money. Will definitely go back :)
A good place for having delicious and spicy Andhra Biryani. The thing I didnt like is, its way too crowded during weekends. And there is no proper arrangements made for the people who are waiting.
Any guy who is from andhra and craves for a spicy touch to the food will love this. The biryani will be much similar to any other but it has the rayalaseema touch to the spices. Surely a test to your taste buds if you are not used to spicy food.
The authentic rayalaseema food... A feast to the senses....this is one of our favourite restaurants in Bangalore...the food is so spicy and tasty in fact..I suggest everyone to try brain fry, Jonna sankati, naatu kodi pulusu and thalakai mamsam..
An Andhra style restaurant which tries to deliver the real diverse flavors of all the regions in the state.. Must try their Raagi Mudda and Gutti Vankaya.. Couldn't find many good placed that serve them in Bangalore..

Real Andhra Style restaurant... As any other Andhra restaurant its crowdy and you have to keep waiting for a long time.. Lack of parking space, will be problem when you go in car.....Natukodi Pulusu and Ragi Mudda is something which you should never miss...But be sure to have some Sweet Lassi or lemon drink to soothe your stomach...Very Spicy, but i love it...One more suggestion to taste Mutton kheema Biriyani...very spicy and yummy....
This is the best place to go if you are craving for spicy food. And mind you it is damn spicy and tasty . You would be literally shedding tears and all the drenched menu cards are there as evidence.
I took my sister in law and my niece to this place when they were in Bangalore. We started our spicy adventure with mutton keema balls and wow, one bite into it and the kids were ordering a sprite to cool down. The starters were extremely tasty and hot. For our main course, we had mutton pulav and pot chicken biryani. The biryani was one of the best I ever had. The pulav was awesome as well.
The ambience is decent and the service was super fast considering the crowd. On the flip side it's a victim of its own popularity. It's heavily crowded all the time. Not sure whether they entertain reservation.
This has to be the best rayalseema cuisine served in Marathahalli-Sarjapur. I would absolutely love to go here again.
Parking tip. On the same service road, when going towards Marathahalli bridge, there is paid parking for 30 bucks.
It's big place, i found it filled with Andhra crowd both times i visited the place. Average biryanis, actually they have 7-8 types, upon asking the difference b/w two of their biryanis 2-3 order takers didn't know. Finally one guy explained all biryanis have same biryani rice only the pieces/meat changes based on the selection. But their specialities are chicken and mutton dishes. Hot food (Chilli Hot) with less spices, it clears up your sinuses, good value for money. They have good vegeterian spread as well, tastes better than non-veg dishes. Two things i didn't like, their desserts (I dare you to try it and then challenge me on this) and no Andhra meals in their menu (you have to order rice, dhaal, curd etc separately). Try Kritunga if you love hot andhra cuisine.
Very descent middle range restaurant. Ambience is just normal. Waiting time is high as it is over crowded and obvious for marthahalli. Items are good and must try for the people around marthahalli.
If you want to spicy biryani then thous is the place. Awesome taste. Worth the money you give. The place was full on a Wednesday!! Really a good place.. But not for ppl allergic to spicy food. I Will go again!!!
Food is tasty, the only problem is if you are not a spicy lover u have a hard time to have food here. You have to wait for a while to get a Dine.

Great Place to enjoy traditional Andra Palegar's Style of Food.
I had been there more than 10 times in the last 2 months.
Lots of traditional styled Starters - Great in taste.
Specially noted are RAGI & Non veg curries of gongura/pulursu.
Bit costly, but worth.
Only concern is they are NOT ready to give corporate discounts :(
I will go again & already recommending for many friends.
First of all, they did not give me a clean spoon. I had to ask then to replace the set of spoon and fork given to me.
We have ordered two starters , and the prawns fry didn't had enough Sault in it. It was disappointing.
The biriyani was good ,well cooked chicken and the perfect amount of spice's. Go here only if you love to have Biriyani and you will not be disappointed with that.
Will I go again ? - I don't think so
Will I recommended ? Hmm, may be ?
Andhra food at its traditional best. Fine dining experience backed with a good ambience and clean operation. Waiters make you wait than waiting on you which is the only annoying thing about this place. When I went there for the first time, there was no power and they didn't even have a gen back up power with all darkness and sweat oozing from everyone. Hope they've got one now.
Speaking about the food, there is nothing that can slow your pace of munching on the delicacies. My pick would be "Ragi mudda with Guttivankai kuura" don't miss it.. If you're a meat eater, u can try that with natikodi charu.
Bon appétit
Never expected this place to be so crowded during weekdays. Kudos to management for the quick service, never felt like the place is full. All our order came on time. About food typical Andhra style, really spicy. Special chicken biriyani was not as expected but it was good.
Go for it.. delicious! They have got variety of Biriyanis and other delicacies. I just felt that the quantity was not justified for the cost..though the quality was recommendable .
Typical andhra style with a lot of focus on chillies! I love spicy food and really enjoyed the food here...
Our order:
Kheema balls
Prawns 65
Kaju chicken (not spicy)
Another chicken starter (not sure of the name... Rayalaseema mostly)
And the green chilly chicken biriyani...

Heard about this authentic Hyderabad restaurant from a colleague... So it was due a try... Went on team lunch..
Look and feel-- decent sitting considering it isn't a high end family restaurant.
What we ordered-
1.. Pot biryani-- one of the finest I tasted in Bangalore.. Chicken fully cooked along with rice.. Juicy and yummy....Mind it.. It's spicy.. So folks who eat less spice.. Then this restaurant isn't for u.
2..special chicken biryani-- nothing special about it though.. If u really want to have great chilli chicken kinda biryani then Meghana foods is the place u must visit.
3. Mutton keema balls- decent one.. Though some pieces were too crispy.
4. Egg biryani- it was really spicy and had great mix of masala.. Really loved it.
So this is a place to go if u want to try some real spicy food.. Don't miss pot biryani.. It's good
Kritinga.... Lot of hype for this name, especially in people from Andhra!!
I can say,it lived up to it. good restaurant and definite recommend for Andhra people and infact who love food with damn spices.
Every dish you order, except for deserts [thank god],they have spiced it up to the core.
Lets get in to details
Ambinece: I had been to this place in koramangala and in marathalli. And marthalli has the good ambience. Its comfortable place to have a nice lunch and clean almost
Serving: Little lazy guys ,but they make it up at the end!!
Food:
I tried all most all the special dishes there.
For veg:
Guttivankaya koora,at its best with Ragi sangati. { i know its odd,but try]
Try the pickles they give with Ragi sangati. they are too good
Ulavacharu is not so authentic. can be made better.
nonveg:
They have plenty of biriyanis, but i rate Palnadu mutton biriyani at its best[But damn spicy]
And starters: try bamboo chicken for its unique flavor and rest all are good.
Pricing:
Its moderate. Guess you can see that in the menu card above.
overall: A very good spicy experience. if you are a spicy lover, this is the one.
If you're looking for spiciest non-vegetarian food in Bangalore, then this is the place to be. This place is usually crowded however the wait time is reasonable.
Very very spicy Andhra food.I have visited this place several times as I like spicy food, the gravy and curries are delicious. But they ensure that their Lassi and Ragi mudde sales are high by adding chillis in all forms(red and green). The aroma is good, ambience is great and place seems very hygienic.Staff is very courteous and friendly.Home delivery is also timely(only negative is that the minimum home delivery order value should be Rs 500 or above).I havent had the Biryani here, but I regularly order Ragi mudde,Mutton iguru, phulka, lassi and apollo fish.Great place to go if you are craving some traditional super spicy Andhra food!

One of the spiciest place with andhra food, many options for non veg lovers but it is very spicy. They serve the order fast and the food is good. Bamboo chicken is delicious and the pot biryani. The jowar rotti and gutti vankaya are good but not excellent. The place is crowded most of the time.
People who got penchant for spicy food will love this place. Will get dishes like Tala kura, gravy and Fry. These things normally not available easily. The quantity and quality are good. Very satisfying to heart and not heavy on pocket.
Service is also good and need a special mention as Waiters were patient and quick
In serving.
Complete andhra style food. A place where you get awesome biryani. I suggest this to people who eat non-veg, since options for vegetarians are very low. They also have ragi mudda served with brinjal gravy.
A place which serves a different but good Biryani with other dishes, which are also quite well prepared. It's a place I can definitely recommend others.
Kudos...
Very spicy food. Sometimes it is not hot enough.
Very unskilled service.
Go here if you like spicy food (which i do so 3 stars) and you are bored with other restaurants in Marathahalli.
Pot chicken biryani and Nizam Hydrabadi Biryani these are two top dishes... I would recommend.... A whole different world with the spices and the aroma it gives.... Service is fast.... Employees are friendly.... Ambience is pretty bad specially on Fridays.... But on the whole its spicy it's mouth watering and its tasty
I visited this place a couple of times
The only reason I go is for the food
The food is great, spicy and just awesome
There service is avg. not really a perfect one when you are giving a party or taking someone for a date
I'd prefer if your a foodie just order a home delivery or a take out rather than dine inn
I will give 4 star instead of 5 star because of so much chillies they used... They used both green n red chillies... taste wise superv.. ordered mutton keema ball. Bamboo chicken mutton biriyani and lassi. One of the best non veg restaurant if they use less chilli than would be gr8 outlet.
Mutton Kheema biriyani is spicy and tasty....
it's very very very very spicy....
tears were flowing out of my eyes automatically.....
but still it tasted good..
mushroom biriyani too yummy....
Hands down the spiciest food I have eaten at any restaurant. Delicious ragi mudde and brinjal gravy. My friends tried the mutton biryani and mutton pulav, both of which received two thumbs up. Overall, a very satisfying lunch experience but be warned that its bound to be much more spicy than normal.
Definition of Spice is this restaurant. But the taste do not disappear and a perfect blend of both spice and taste. The Mutton Biriyani was the best and the ragi mudde with nati kozhi pulusu. The Bamboo chicken has a very different taste and was made really well.
Rayalseema cuisine and a must go
Food-4/5
Decor 3/5
VFM-3.5/5
Service 3.5/5
Pretty Decent in Ambience . .. Service levels are OK... Must Try Kheema Biryani and Fish Fry...
Budget restaurant with good quality biryani's - Good place for spicy food lovers!!!!
Its a very good and big place buts still its very difficult to find a place when you reach at the peak hours during the lunch time i.e from 1 to 2:30 pm.
Better go there after 2:30 pm so that you will get a better place and a better order.
Rasam is too spicy depends on person to person.
We ordered Palnadu Mutton biriyani it was ok for me but my friend says its the best biriyani he has ever eaten. This place is worth a visit if u dont have any problem to compromise with the spicy dishes.
Went there with a couple of friends here as they wanted to have some authentic Rayalseema food. My friends ordered ragi mudda which they found delicious. I had chapati with a Paneer curry which was great as well. Finally ordered Veg Biryani which was really good. Good food at a good price
If you are craving for some real spicy food, this is the place to be. You've to try the traditional ragi ball. Biryani are good , rice with curries are best. You have to specify if spice needs to be less.
But when you go there ensure you have loads of time, the service is very late and you have to follow up multiple times.

The spiciest food around the place for sure. one should also order lassi along with biryani, to make biryani moving...
Cost is decent, place is okk but its heavily crowded on weekends and especially on peak hours.
My favourite restaurant!
Best Andhra food, especially Rayalaseema style (spicy)
My choice of dish: Ragi mudda with any curry(veg or non-veg)
But see that you reach early or 2:30PM later, else it will be very difficult to get table

Bit pricey. But worth it for the quality, variety n taste of the items. Most of The dishes served are rayalaseema varieties and rarely found elsewhere in bengaluru. But predominantly non veg. Few veggies. But all are spicy. Also spacious n well maintained. Parking in that service road is a trouble!
If you want to have some spicy food, this is the place. And when I say spicy, I mean real spicy. I'm a vegetarian so I only had veg biriyani but my friends tried different dishes and we were more than satisfied with the food. Once you make your order, it does not take much time for them to get your food, so when you are really hungry and can't wait this is the place to visit. The food quantity and quality, both are good. Better than most of the places in Bangalore for the price you pay here. If you want to have biriyani or Andhra style food, I'd recommend this place. I would not comment on service of the restaurant as I never had a dine-in here but as it is a new place, you can expect a better service as well.
I loved the food...authentic Andhra cuisine to spice you up. They offer a range of options to choose from. I opted for Bamboo Chicken which was awesome. Pot biryani was equally good. Nice ambiance at a decent cost. This place is surely worth a visit if spicy food is your game.
Very good for spicy food lovers!!
Good ambience,
Quick service and
Value for money.
Newly opened. I went there after 10 days of inauguration. This place is for the people who love spicy biryani. Starters and biryanis are awesome. Somewhat not satisfied with the service.
First time tried Andra cuisuine, i would say it was Zesty spicy. For a change, It was definitely something.
About place: its a huge place, with a decent interior, more like a usual restaurant. As it is near to lots of tech park, during lunch it seem like a food court. Their service is quite good consider the crowd they serve.
Food: Spicy Spicy Spicy !!!!
But seriously i liked Andra cuisuine after trying this. Try it, if you have appetite of spicy non-veg food. Their jowar roti and lassi was good.
They need little more management skill, considering the crowd pouring to this place.
Overall i liked the place. Must visit if you work nearby.
I happened to visit this place yesterday with my colleagues and to my surprise this place is huge when you see from inside, compared to the small entrance. It was jam packed and people were waiting in a queue. I realised there's something definitely awesome about this place. So here's my experience
* Food: Just delicious. I am a big fan of Kolhapuri cuisine and never thought there would be any cuisine that can compete its spicy taste. For red meat lovers - Andhra mutton fry & liver fry are must haves. You must also try Jowar roti + Andhra Chicken curry (which is going to be very spicy and hot) or Mutton curry. The mutton biryani was okay, considering the fact that you've got a lot better options in Bengaluru.
* Ambience: Decent enough for a meal with team / family.
* Service: Being a foody, I like to get my order served in time and I'd say the service here is pretty good.
For non-veg lovers, this place is certainly a must-visit place.
The food was awesome.. I like the brinjal curry (Rayalaseema) special the most.. The ambience is cool.. Service is also good.. Cost is much reasonable..
Good spicy food. One of the best restaurant for authentic rayalaseema food. Must try : ragi mudda and natu kodi pulusu.
Chicken pot biryani is quite good.
It's also know as "Rayalseema foods". I've never seen such large range of biryanis, we tried 5 types of biryanis each have its own taste and are awesome. It's definite place to taste.
We went here for dinner last night to have spicy Andhra food. We had visited their outlet in Koramangla and had a good experience there.
We ordered ankapuri Natukodi pulsu with steam rice and Palnad mutton biryani..both the dishes tasted very good, the spice levels were also good as per our taste.
Ambience was ok..I will definitely come back to taste some more items on the menu.
After a long time I found a restaurant where they serve some authentic andhra food....its a bit crowded place and an advance booking is suggested....the food is just amazing specially the biryani's tastes amazing...couple of things to try out is the biryani's, bamboo chicken, majestic chicken, quail fry and many other such dishes...the menu has a hell lot of dishes to choose from....service wise they are polite and quick....ambience wise not tat great but good seating, comfortable sofas plus the copper jug and glasses gives tat extra edge to the table.....price wise its quit decent...a must place to visit with ur family and friends..
We tried out this restaurant for lunch after several recommendations from our colleagues.
Slow and steady elevator takes you to this place in 2nd floor. If you are visiting here at lunch time, it'll be crowded with people waiting to grab a table. Don't confuse for a marriage dining hall! After 15 mins of wait finally we had to share a table.
We ordered
Ragi mudde with engai - tasty and spicy, groundnut flavour in engai just hits the spot!
Phulka and bhendi curry, rayalseema style - tasty and very spicy.
Biriyani- good.
Most spiciest food I had in recent times. I was literally sweating!
Service - waiters try hard to cater to such a big crowd. Missed one of our order.
Ambience- one big hall with poor ventillation.
Overall-only thing unique abt this place is, the dishes are served very spicy and hot.
Extremely spicy and tasty native rayalseema food is served here. Your eyes will start shedding tears while ur taste buds demand more of it. The natukodi pulusu and raagi ball were awsm.
We went for a team lunch to Kritunga today. The food and service were very good though it was crowded at lunch time. The waiters were very courteous and patient. We were 7 people and our bill came to 236 per head, which was more than what we could eat. For non-veg, we took Chicken 65, Fish 65, Chicken Kaju Pakoda, Butter Chicken and Red Chilli Chicken curry Biryani. For veg people, we took paneer biryani, bhindi fry, babycorn manchurian along with naans and rotis. The chicken starter portions are meant to feed 4 people.
The food was spicy so this is definitely not a place for people who love mild food. We had mixed reviews regarding the spiciness. A few guys and I found the food to be tastily spicy and not something that makes you cry but the rest found it tongue-burning. I usually cannot tolerate spicy food but whatever we ordered here was amazing!
Raggi mudda and Nati kodi pulusu is very yummyy..... Good Ambience. Starters are Good. Biryani is Average. Worth for the money we paid. Who wants to have spicy food can visit this place.
Ragi muddha and natu koli pulusu :-) words just can't describe the taste.. Must try .. Keema gravy was insane too !!!
Ambience could be improved.. Ac wasn't working. Considering the fact that its a new setup.... I excuse the useless AC.. the taste made it up for the lack in good ambience..
Ragi Mudda, Java Roti, Brinjal curry & Paneer Biryani are the one u have to taste. One of the food variety available in Andhra Pradesh.
Due to heavy crowd, taste of Ragi Mudda has been degraded @ Marathalli Restaurant
Ambience - good
Quality of service - good
Food - good
Being a new addition to the biryani land of Marathahalli, this place truly lives up to the name and reputation. Best part of the food here is the variety of option you get to choose from. We have tried out desi chicken biryani and chicken roast biryani. I had to agree that we are satisfied with both the Quantity and quality of food. But a word of caution, food here is a bit spicy when compared to its counterparts like meghana and biryani zone. ????????????
Apart from the service in this outlet, I love the food always as I do in other Kritunga outlets(Koramangala & Hyderabad). May be being a new outlet, there is a lot of confusion around the serving boys and they are fairly new to the work for sure.
Ambience is not that good though as it looks like a party hall...but my first interest is food and so it is a 4.
My fav were Brain Fry, Ragi mudda, Natukodi pulusu and Kheema Biryani...list goes on..
NOTE: "You can't expect a football game by visiting a cricket ground "....Its a Rayalaseema style restaurant....it will be spicy...enjoy eating..
Awesome service,Food was good and spicy as it is Rayala seema special. Ragi mudda and Natukodi pulusu was my special item over there, luving it
Kritunga (restaurant) is named after of Krishna Tungabhadra rivers. This restaurant is located on service road of Marathahalli outer ring road easily noticed.
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rayalaseema is place in Andhra where people like to have spicy food which taste really great especially chicken and brinjal curries with jawar roti people like most other items are too good in taste.
Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Super fast and very friendly they treat customers as friends especially when you talk in Telugu language.
Ambiance ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s all good ambiance not great I can say most people prefer glass side seat to have a view of road side.
We have experienced spicy food with all categories. It is a nice place for family and friends, you get good customised food and we have celebrated the birthday of one of my friend and we have ordered many times.
Overall good food for spicy lovers.
Don't visit the restaurant if you are not able to tolerate spicy food. Ordered Chicken 555 , chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani. Food was good. Staff were good. Price was reasonable.
Decent place with complete Andhra style food. Non veg spicy lovers should try food here.
It can be crowded with an uncomfortable wash room even for washing hands the food tasted good only the specials and dry items. But the biryanies I don't recommend as they are rarely good and intensively spicy with a lot of spices everytime.
Food is very tasty . must try pepper chicken. dragen chicken also good. we had rotti with andra chicken curry combination was really awesome. Biriyani flavours is unique and taste is awesome. rates also very reasonable.
Authentic Andhra taste. Tandoori Chicken and Nizam Chicken Biriyani, both were awesome. Service was a bit slow but that's understandable because of the pandemic situation. but they will inform about the delay before taking orders. But they have maintained the place very hygienic.
Paneer biryani is awesome here I visited 3 times for this one only superb taste and spicy.
This was my first visit to kritunga, i ordered guntur chicken biryani.
I found the biryani super tasty. Quantity was sufficient for 2 people. With biryani lot of raita and curry was served. When we requested for 1 more raita, the staff was courteous enough to give it.
The services were quick and very good. I must say i am really impressed by their biryani.
Only thing is their biryani is very spicy, so people who dont like spicy food please give instructions before order. Otherwise it is recommended
Too good, very much authentic Andhra taste. Ordered Tandoori Chicken and Nizam Chicken Biriyani, both were awesome. Service was bit slow but that's understandable because of the pandemic situation. But they have maintained the place very hygienic. One piece of advice, their sanitizer smell was very strong and not to my liking and didn't go off completely even with handwash. So, please bring your own sanitizer.
Very good option for Andra style Biriyani items. Really it's worth to be there if you are spicy lover, If they focused to serve the food little more professional way Kritunga said to be absolutely awesome. I have ordered palanadu mutton Bilaal biriyani taste was very good
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for vegetarians
We ordered Baby corn chilli (very good), chicken kaju pakoda (average) raagi ball(so tasty), natukodi pulusu (yummy) and biriyani (spicy) so overall had good experience and please inform if you don't want spicy biriyani else they will bring spicy only..
