This is one of the best chill-out place to spend quality time with friends. With its flavoured hooka and sizzlers you can always have a nice chat in weekend. Iced hooka with rose and paan last for hours to give you ample time to spend with your inner circle.
I have been to Baithak a few months back and found it to be a nice cosy place for hangout with a descent ambiance.
It is a good joint for having hookah with friends and general catch up. The food is decent but the quality can be further improved. Services are good. So overall not a bad option for students and working professionals to hang out.

Very hospitable and patient staff. They were very patient with my 7yr old running around in sand all the time. Good food and drinks made it a time well spent.

The service is good, drinks are moderately priced so it does not burn a hole in your pocket at all compared to other players in the vicinity.

Nice Ambience with 2 levels of seating. Hookah is served only on the first floor. Food is good. Parking available on main road, valet parking also available. Service was found a bit slow, had to give multiple reminders, staff however is courteous. Ground floor is more suited for folks who do not want to smoke. This is the second best place where i loved the vegetarian biriyani the paneer makhani biriyani .. slurp. Of course the first one was in a very small restaurant in the interiors of Rajasthan. I can not take strong spices in it and this one was amazing and perfect. The other thing we ordered here was wood fire pizza which was equally good, nice ambience to just sit relax i a casual dining way.

I keep visiting this place quite often, end up landing here at least couple of times every month. Have seen this place change drastically from what it used to be originally. It's one of the very few places in Bangalore that offer hookah and liquor together, that's probably one of the reasons that I keep coming here.
Food (4/5) - Nachos are good, they come in large quantity too. Love ordering Fish Fest when I don't want to go too heavy on stomach. Pav bhaji fondue is another dish that you can give a try. Pizzas and cocktails are average.
Ambience (4/5) is comfortable, get your friends here to spend a good Saturday evening.
Staff (5/5) is humble and courteous.

I've been to this place with my office colleagues on a Friday evening. Loved to vibrant colors and the ambiance-sand-the village kind of look.
The Food has a lot of variety and the drinks were also nice. The Food was really tasty and loved the cocktails as well- Dragon Mushrooms and nachos were really nice. Do give it a try if you are in and around HSR.
Spent the Christmas Eve at this place and unlike the usual this place was pretty dead that evening, as there was some defect with the music, but otherwise the service was up to the mark and so was the food and drinks.

Baithak as a cafe is capacious & colorful emanating the feel of a contemporary hookah joint and this will be an esque scene for you if you have visited other seesha cafes around the town. Paints, graffiti, unconventional items adorning the wall, it certainly offers something to look around.
With my last visit on a saturday afternoon, I couldn’t help but notice that it was almost occupied and more than half of them were young laid-back crowd.This is a reasonable place, who also happen to server booze with a melange of food items. A plethora of options for you in the menu, spanning across pizza, burgers to indian cuisine.
What we ordered:
Murg Chandini was the tender start that we needed. Juicy boneless chicken marinated with green chilli, cheese, cream and a scrupulous hint of cardamom.
Rather than opting for any other continental or indian cuisine we ended up ordering two burgers, the sight across another table was tempting to be honest. And we were certainly not disappointed.
Tandoori chicken burger is a mulificiently stuffed succulent chicken patty topped with cheese and mint mayo. While “Game Time” is no less of a catch. The patty is finely grounded chicken mingling with roasted peppers and cheese. Felt a bit dry though
Accompanied with some coolers and there’s quite a lot to choose from, our meal for two was complete. Needs no mention that, you will get the quintessential flavoured hookah here as well.
Service is noticeably on the slower side is what I experienced that day.
Even though it’s been a while to my visit now and yet I was able to portray my experience with ease, it certainly qualifies for a second visit then.

This is a Punjabi themed pub. Ground floor is pub and first floor is Hookah bar.
They have scattered sand on the floor to provide desert theme. You will feel you are taking dinner on desert, also it feels good when sand touches you feet.
They have live sport spacially Kabaddi matches. If you talk about there staff they are willing to help you.
Food is a little bit costly but taste was good. According to me food quantity was very less. It look like they charge two times but gives food of half money.
Saturday evening, it is always crowded but Sunday, it has enough place for you..

Had a chance to visit this place on Saturday. I am glad the place is open till 1 am on Saturday's. Since we were late the kitchen was closed but the person who was serving was kind enough to get the starters . Had loaded nachos and chicken fries. The quantity and quality met the expectations. The hukka was the best part. Not to strong not to mild. Had a good time and would love to visit again :)

Went there with friends on a Saturday evening. The place was too crowded. We had booked a table from before but still we didn't get a place in the open space at first... Later on they shifted us to a table upstairs just attached to the stairs.

The ambience is soothing. With Live screening and punjabi music the place gives you a lively feeling. The crowd is great. Not only the rooftop but downstairs, the ambience is quite good.
Ordered chicken wings and mushroom balls which were quite delectable. Cocktails are good as well.
Hookah could have been better in the sense that not much smoke was building up after some time, which lasts a bit longer usually.
All in all a great place to enjoy n talk with your loved ones on any evening.

After a heavy buffet lunch, 5 of us were in the mood for hookah, so this place was in the vicinity.
They have a lot of flavors for hookah, many of them with pan and mint. We had mint and strawberry flavor. It was a good choice, and it gave a sweet undertone to the high. For food we had chicken fries, which was adequate for us. Peach ice tea, lemonade, coke and some beer kept our thirst at bay.
Decor was contemporary. Live sports are screened too. They have ample seating space in ground and first floor. Parking might be a problem, but it's a long road so something would work out nearby.
Overall, it's a great hangout spot with good options of hookah, drinks and food.

We went for birthday party. They serve hookah and alcohol both. Foods are too good.
We had lamb fries, chin chin lamb.. both are very good. In veg we ordered the big buddha burger, china town, dragon mushroom all are good. Mango berry cooler are refreshing.

MUST VISIT!
Went on a Sunday night, managed to get a good seat indoors. Overall, quite impressed with the place. Good food, colourful interiors, good service, and average costs.
Food:
Quite happy with the few things we did try out! Adequate portion sizes, well prepared dishes, and decent turn around time once you place your order. We tried the Tango soup, Paneer Tikka Badshahi starter, Pav Bhaji Fondue (MUST HAVE) and the Watermelon Mint Mojito.
The soup was good, the paneer starter was cooked very well, subtle flavours form the coating and grill. The paneer was a great soft texture too. The highlight of our dinner was the pav bhaji fondue - pretty decent for 2 people portion wise and the bhaji was flavoured pretty well!
The Watermelon Mint mojito was sweet and syrupy (with berry syrups added). Upon request this was modified to having only fresh watermelon juice, lime, and mint. Their drinks menu just has a list of coolers and mojitos without any descriptions, hence the confusion.
Ambiance:
Quirky mix of seating spaces, both in terms of the furniture as well as the surroundings. As soon as you enter, you have an open space seating with stone fixtures, as well as tables and chairs placed in beach sand. Indoors, the decor has a beautiful book shelf on one side, and metal scrap displays on the other. The bar is on the ground floor itself. Yet to check out the look upstairs!
Service:
Prompt and polite. You are attended to almost as soon as you need something. We were rather happy with how easily and our server re-made the mojito once we realized it had berry syrups added to it. No hassle in terms of the orders and being served the dishes.
Food and Drinks are really good taste wise as well as rate wise. Special mention to Kaito, who really helped us while selecting dishes and drinks.

You would never think a place like this serves such great food. But they do. My go to place for biriyani in hsr layout. Their chicken tikka biroyani is an explosion of tastes. Its not a traditional biriyani , but it works in my mouth so i dont really care. Haven't tried anything else yet, but that biriyani is a 5 star.

Sizzler.. which was great in taste.
Soups which was so yummy that we ordered another one. Best part with the soup was that they serve in a MUG cum Soup Bowl. Which gives you the choice whether to use the spoon or not. I particularly hate spoon for soup that is why I loved it even more.
Veg desi starters were amazing as well.
Ambiance: Casual, good for hangouts. Have very comfy chairs and couches as well.

One of the coolest places in HSR to hang out with friends over a hookah party, But whats worth mentioning is that the food is pretty amazing. The platter gave me an idea of the variety of food and the taste and Im very well satisfied with what was offered. The seating upstairs is comfortable, prefer sitting there. Nothing much to say. This place has always been an old favourite and I again visited this week after almost a year. The menu is changed and quite appealing, they have done up their upper deck really well and all in all was highly satisfied with the food and the service. Ordered their jumbo combo non vegetarian platter which has all the non vegetarian starters combined and absolutely gorgeous! For our mains we tried the bangers and mash, Indonesian sizzler and their smokey chicken sandwiches which were very wholesome, appetising and tasty. We also tried their paan and saffron ice sheesha which was delightful. The portion sizes are huge. Tried the classic martini and the Mai tai drinks which were well made too. Ask for their server Keito who is a rock star!!
Always a good place to hangout after a long day at work. Its my go to place to unwind and catchup with friends. Great and prompt service and good food. Don't think i can ask for more.
Absolutely love the place. One of my favourite go to place to chill and relax with friends over a sheesha. The staff is really courteous and attentive without being over-bearing. The sheesha quality is one of the best I've seen and food is quite good as well. I definitely recommend the place to friends whenever I get a chance :-)

The swanky ambience is what attracts you to this place. The place is spread on two floors and gives ample space for you to sit, relax and enjoy some good food.
We started off with some starters, what I liked were the Dragon mushroom which had a whole mushroom stuffed with delicious spices. We had the mountain nachos with the perfect dips, really liked the glaucomole one. The chicken wings and chicken tikka were also great companions!
We also tried some thin crust pizza. I must say that their Italian food is also good. Especially the Alfredo pasta and the mushroom lasagne. Not too overpowering, neither too bland.
We ended with some delicious chicken Hyderabad biryani and chicken curry. And let's not forget about the desserts! The cheesecake was my favourite, it was really good. The sizzling brownie was also good, the brownie was perfectly gooey in the middle, just like I like it!
The most important thing to try here is their varieties of cocktails. I was very impressed with the pomatini and the smoked oranged drink. Even the mocktails were so good, the red velvet shake is a must try!
My friends even tried the hookah which was also good.

The best place to hangout with your friends in HSR layout..You get some amazing cocktails and mocktails which is really interesting and the highlight is their amazing Colors for your photography too..You get Italian , Chinese and north indian cuisines over here which is really delicious and mouthwatering..had some amazing peri peri chicken , lord of the wings and when it comes to veg, we had dragon mushrooms, mountain and paneer tikka Badshahi which was really so juicy and yummy..loved it..had some Italian main course like mushroom lasagne which was really good and was given a different blend of Italian flavours which you do not get the same kind of taste in other restaurants..white sauce pasta which was really good. The interesting thing was we got some spicy element for our taste buds in the pizza category..it's chilli Bomb..it was amazing with those spicy taste and some tangy flavour for your taste buds from those jalepenos . Next goes to some Indian cuisine main course and when it comes to the rice, we had some biryani, Hyderabadi dum Biryani which was awesome and have never had it before any where . The rice was finely cooked and the chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and flavours of the spices were indeed mixed well with those chicken pieces and rice..
They have some amazing hookah base over here..we tried out watermelon base hookah which gives the intense flavour of watermelon itself which was attractive as well as really good..
When it comes to cocktails pom o tini was a drink based on the pomogrenete which was mixed with vodka..
My favourite drink was this guava and spicy..which was mildly matching this bloody Mary but definitely a better drink than bloody Mary..blue algave is something very interesting to look at and even it was mind-blowing..Jack n gin was a gin based drink which had the amazing combination of the gin and the fruit..must try it..
You have amazing deserts over here..to mention some , sizzling brownie with a ice cream is really good over here and best place to try some..blueberry cheese cake was the highlight in desert as it was a perfect mixture of the blueberry crush and the cheesecake bottom..it just melts in the mouth..definitely amazing .
To mention some highlights of the place , it's a beautiful place with amazing interiors and definitely a awesome place to hangout with friends and family for drinks or food or hookah..it will definitely gives a better experience and amazing feel..the service is really good..and very friendly staff..

Great decor, relishing food and drinks just makes your meals wonderful.
The servings are not only presentable and tasteful; they are sizeable portion and represent good quality as well. Hookah is just amazing.
Drinks- Blue Algave, Mai Tai, Jack n Gin, Bloody Mary, Yellow Scorpion, What-a-Melon, Smoked Guns, Mojito are some of its aperitifs.
Starters- Achari Murgh Tikka, Lord of Wings, Peri Peri Chicken are detectable. Nachos and sauces are quite amazing.
Mains- Absolutely flavoursome and filing. My personal favourite is Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Steak (Peri Peri).
Even though, following are no less.
Veg- Alfredo Pasta, Mushroom Lasagne, Chilli Bomb, Veg Sizzler
Non-Veg- Butter naan with butter chicken
Desserts are remarkable, must try- Sizzling Drizzling Chocolate Brownie and Blueberry Cheesecake.
Recommend a try to anyone looking for great food with good service and great company.
Had been to chill with a group of friends at the famous hookah place in HSR. The ambience is bright , quirky and we'll ventilated.
I like the SAND PIT sitting area in the ground floor which is a very different experience.
In cocktails we tried many, they were made really well, but what stood out was the JACK N JIN , GUAVA CHILLI (MY FAV) and the MAI TAI (done well too).
Coming to food, enjoyed the LORD OF WINGS (Chicken wings with amazing sauce coated over them), NACHOS with 3 kind of dips (guacamole was my favourite).
In main course enjoyed the MURGH BUTTER MASALA WITH BUTTER ROTI , the murgh masala was bomb.
I would give BIRYANI a skip . The mushroom lasagna, white sauce pasta and chilli bomb pizza were underseasoned.
In desserts we ordered the BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE and SIZZLING CHOCOLATE BROWNIE. We all loved it so much that we ordered them twice, ended on a high note.

We had today afternoon lunch at Baithak with friends. The place comes with energetic & colorful trendy interiors. Got my hands on their veg delicacies like Dragon Mushroom, Mountain & Paneer Tikka Badshahi with Jack N Gin cocktail.
Veg Pizza & Pasta Arabiata were too bland for my taste though were rich in toppings & ingredients.

Fire Safety - Located on ground and first floor. First floor is located on a iron platform with iron stairs which is prepped up in decorative way. No visible fire safety equipment. No visible secondary exit points. First floor side seats are very close ( ~ 15 feet) electric lines outside.
This place has a hep and snazzy look of its own and it screams a hooka joint. And you can see a lot of young crowd here heading for hooka especially.
The way the hooka is presented ( water melon casket) was very innovative and cool. Hooka flavour was strong and enjoyable. The staff were helpful in setting the right flavour and changing and clearing coals. But the speed/ promptness is something that needs to be looked on. May be they were under staffed for day or whatever, that needs to be improvised.
Cocktails were nice but personally felt that it could have been less sweet. The drinks were quite innovative must say. The use of sugar cane was quite interesting. You can actually chew on to it. Only matter that I would like to say as suggestion is lesser use of sugar to offset the sugarcane stick used.
The presentation of the drinks though were good, few needs a bit of improvisation.
"Pom o Tini", the pomegranate martini was served in usual tall glass and with strewn pomegranate bits on a white plate. The final outcome looked very pretty and attractive.
"Dam u Fig" was a Fig based cocktail. The use of fig seemed bit off as the dissolved ones was not giving quite good taste or essence of it. Whole chunks of fig may have been better. Just a suggestion, experts may look and give a better final product.
"Bloody Mary" was as it should be. Right amount of tobasco sauce, cayenne pepper and sour of tomato and ofcourse vodka. Refreshing and again quote good.
"What a melon" was soothing of a drink with watermelon juice and chunks used along. The presentation was again spot on.
"Guava n Spice" had good guava Infused and with chilli flakes on rim. Delicious and refreshing.
"Smoking Guns" was presented and quite delightful to watch the preparation. The orange based drink had an Infused and burnt cinnamon smoke on top of the drink. The infusion didn't come up great but the creation and presentation was nice to see.
"Hyderabadi Dum Biryani" was so so. The rice could have been better and somehow felt that something serious was missing in it.
"Chicken Steak Peri Peri" had good burnt taste with juicy sauce. However the chicken pieces was bit stiff and could be better marinated.
"Lord of Wings" interesting name. They were more of burnt sauce infused chicken wings. The wings were ok. Once again the chicken pieces could have been better marinated.
"Mushroom Lasagne" was okeish. The sauce could have been better.
"Paneer Pizza" was okeish. The cheese usage was less. And that was only draw back I felt. Crust could have been better too.
"Paneer Tikka Badshahi" was amazingly done. The paneer pieces were soft and delicate and nice.
The service could have been bit faster I felt. And food items can be bit improved too. Especially the usage of cheese in pizza and garlic bread.
We wanted to explore something new both in ambiance and food so thought of visiting Baithak. Ambiance was kind of OK, however food was good.
We tried 4-5 different varieties of starters and I personally recommend "The Real Deal" and "Cluck Me" which were exceptional in taste. They serve Hookah as well which has separate dining section upstairs.

This place, Baithak has changed a lot in terms of their infrastructure over a period of time. I have seen it evolve for the good.
This place is an amalgam of:

And thus you will see a mix of people at this place - family with kids, couples, friends chilling and anyone who wants to spend some great time at this place.

Baithak which can be called as Lounge in English. The place has dine in along with roof top available. We happen to visit this place on a Sunday afternoon, so we did sit downstairs as in Summer i don't think rooftop is a good option.
The ambience is very unique. They have different zones for smoking and non-smoking. Sand is present on the floor, there is a huge book shelf so one can take books and relax out here.
We didn't try the drinks menu here, probably next time we will try it for sure.
Recommendations-
Murg chandani, Corn malai tikki, pao bhaji fondue, Mutton pepper sukha, dum biryani
Starters-
We did try few starters in vegetarian as well as nonvegeterian like Paneer tikka , peri pero chicken, achari murgh but in all corn malai tikki was amazing. Peri peri Chicken could have been better. Also, nachos were served with 4 types of dips(beans, tomato salsa, guacamole and sour cream)and were great.
Main course-
Pao Bhaji fondue hands down. This was one of the high point of our meal i completely loved it. Also, we also tried maraca which was falafel, hummus, pita bread. The North indian food like dal makhni , roti , shahjahani murgh tangdi were amazing.
Desserts -
We just tried chocolate death and sizzling brownie. The pastry was good but the brownie could have been improved.
Overall, the food quality and quantity was good. Will surely visit and have pao bhaji fondue.

Wish they got back the charm of this place before the shut down temporarily. Still love the hooka and the food was good. Garlic bread was surely the highlight. The KitKat shake was really thick and yummm!

This place has Sandy, Pebbly and cemented floors. So choose your footware according to your choice of seating area.
I didn't try their drink menu, so I can help you with the foods here.
In the starters,
If you like Nachos - try mountain. It's corn nachos served with four different dips.
Must try their Panner Tikka Badshahi, very soft pieces and good in quantity.
If you are a tikki person, try cluck me - It is corn, potato and cheese tikki. Tastewise it was ok.
In nonveg must try their Achari Murg Tikka. It is quite delicious. But Peri Peri Chicken here has to be improved.
Main course you can go for Mutton pepper sukha with naan. But, if you don't like eating muttons, try their kulchas with Shahjahani Murg Tangdi. Both are good combination.
If you like to have veg in the main course, try their pav bhaji fondue. It is basically cheese pav bhaji but the presentation totally enhances it's taste.

Baithak which basically means a Lounge stands true to its name with an ambience designed to unwind and relax. Located in the ever growing HSR layout of Bangalore, this place offers a bit of everything ranging from multi-cuisine food, bar – beverages and bites, Hookah, Foosball table for some fun, a really mini-library with some collection of books and of-course IPL on a projector ! Sounds like a perfect place for a Friday evening ain’t it ??
Since we are lounging over food, lets get to the food part first. Here to taste on the variety they had to offer and so when asked for some recommendations, out came the below appetizers
Crispy Fried Chicken
Let’s not overthink about this. This is soulful bar food. It’s crispy, it’s fried and it’s Chicken !! Happy way to start off with drinks to go with it. Spicy, tangy flavour from the sauces which were lemon garlic based is a feather on the cap ! Keeping it simple and flavourful !
Dragon Mushrooms
Not just saying for the sake of it but one of the best mushroom appetizers I’ve ever had ! Mushrooms filled with cheese and spinach topped with a mini pappad and an extra point for presentation ! Mushrooms were fresh and generous stuffing of spinach inside with a crunchy outside layer gets them some brownie points !
With Summer already starting to get to its peak and being seated in the upper floor with the sun beating down during lunch time, it was time for some salads and all but obvious anything that has watermelon beats everything else !
Watermelon Feta Cheese Salad –
Watermelon, Lettuce, celery, mint, feta cheese and house dressing ! Watermelon was refreshing but the salad as a whole needed more cheese and dressing.
Salmon Fillet :
Salmon crusted with parsley, lemon and capers emulsion served with mashed potatoes and buttered veggies. Pick of the day for me ! Salmon crust was party in the mouth. The Lemon butter sauce went very well with the succulent fish and the potato mash over a layer of veggies ticks all the right boxes.
Gosht Shahjahani Biryani :
Craving for something Indian and we opted for Gosht Biryani ! First appearance – good texture and aroma of spices hitting you. Lamb was tender and small chunks meant easier to eat. High on taste and it did eat well. A bit more oily for our liking but hey its biryani !!
Some interesting dessert options meant a couple of them had to be on our table
Choco Brownie with Vanilla Icecream –
Warm brownie with the spoon going right through and the touch of ice-cream is very filling. Good portion size for one. Regular dessert on the menu and keeping it classic.
Blueberry Cheese Cake –
Another classic dessert. Not getting into details. Everyone loves a good cheesecake with a well balanced Blueberry for that perfect end to a meal.
Getting to the beverages , the bar section is fairly new here started off just a few weeks back. Good selection of drinks to choose from, tried a few of them. The regular Virgin Mojito and Pom O Tini – Cocktail consisting of Vodka, Pomo Seeds and Fresh Basil. Probably needs a few more visits to try out other beverages.
The place is spread across 2 levels with stylish interiors and different seating options. The ground level has an AC section as well more suited for families, while the one on top is kind of outdoor seating and can get hot during the day time especially in summers, but fans and some cool beverages should cool you down. The upper level is probably the best place to be in during the evening hours.Service needs a push here and they have a shortage of staff which they are working on getting things settled. Valet parking is available.
Had lunch with a big group today here. The ambience is very vibrant with an industrial metal look.
They serve amazing cocktails and hookah too. In cocktails loved the mai tai and guava chilli. Hookah was not strong and felt it light.
In food enjoyed the chicken wings, roti and murgh butter masala.
The white sauce pasta was a little bland but extremely cheesy.
The desserts were bomb, many had 2 servings of the cheese cake and sizzling chocolate brownie with icecream.

Baithak 😍 Awesome is the only word I can say. Everything is delicious ambiance is pretty cool interior designs make you feel energetic. The price is also affordable. Go there baito have a mouthwatering food 🤗
