Homely and mouthwatering delicacies served. Not preferred seating area. Note, it's self service. Economically easy on the pocket. Overall great experience.
Have been here a couple of times, mostly for quick grab and go south-indian food. The food is decent enough, the sambhar could be better. Like their sambhar vada though.

Seems like Shrinidhi has been there forever! There are two sections, one is more akin to a south Indian fast food, serving quick meals and tiffin items and the other section, which has a more rustic interior (though in need of a little repair and maintenance), which serves a North Karnataka cuisine buffet for lunch.
There is really no protocol here, It is a self service restaurant, with the old proprietor gentleman overseeing proceedings and the final billing. You simply take your fill of food from the unlimited buffet, sit anywhere on the long share benches and eat away.
The buffet items include a couple of wet curries (the quintessential brinjal in a peanut gravy, mix veg-bean curry), jollada roti, rice, rasam, sambhar, papads, buttermilk and hollige/puran poli for dessert.
The hollige was absolutely yummy and had just the right level of sweetness. The rotis and the brinjal curry were pretty good and the rest of the meal was decent and wholesome. The hollige and the rotis are prepared and served piping hot, but on a busy day, it can be a slight bottleneck.
At 125 bucks, it is darn good deal as well! Good stuff..
Overall-8
Good hangout with people working nearby make it regular place for lunch. It would be slightly crowded at noons. Located in city centre. Self service, and good ambience. Veg outlet with juice bar.
Dosas, all variety are tasty, specially the onion dosa. You have special rice, Srinidhi rice with Rs. 70, slightly spicy, fried rice is okay, n noodles are oily as they are. Roti curry is as good. Crowd here mostly go for Masala Dosas. Rates are moderate. Ginger tea is special with office people here.
Good north karnataka food. Value for money. Yummy holige with ghee is best. Tastes like home cooked food. It would be a advantage if they maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
The best part of this restaurant is value for money with nice quality.
South Indian meal comes with chapathi, sambar, rasam, palya, curd and sweet. The rice made here tastes with No Soda! in it.
Idlys are good at breakfast. Next time shall try veg biriyani items.
Tasty north karnataka food , with holige (hot soft n yummy must try)
has good variety :)
good thing about this place they dont include many fried snack up just to increase no of ingredients :)
self service n staff very humble .
and here comes not so good part - ambience which gives you feel of out door sitting is pretty comfortable but i have seen squirrel n rat running around .. :( price wise its grt pissa vasool restaurant . only if they could up hygeine quotient a bit this will be a great place .. (y)
We were in search of good north karnataka food with in city limits some of my friends suggested srinidhi real food. I ordered the unlimited jolada roti oota which costed me only 123.rs consisted of 4 jolada roti 2 puran poli, rice, brinjal curry, papad, buttermilk, 2 varities veggetable curry, mung bean curry and famous north Karnataka podi with curds its awesome meal totally filling very affordable.
We also ordered south indian and north indian meals which was pretty decent south indian meals was costing 63.Rs was tasting okay northindian meals is pathetic was horrible to the core.
They can maintain the place well its shabby and cruddy and all the supplies are on display they should store it in a closed store room and not display it to public..
Terrible north Indian fare, excellent south Indian fare. Not expensive at all.. Very unique ambience too. Heaven for a curd rice lover
Heavenly place for breakfast, neat and tidy restaurant/fast food. The quality and service super good. They are quite fast in serving. The taste is authentic. Great experience. They have many branches all over Bangalore and more or less you will have similar experiences.
This is the best place for quick bites. Food is tasty and prices are economical. There is no table service, but self service. One can choose from multiple options such as South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, Sandwiches, Thali, Dosas available all through the day. Finding a vacant seat during busy hours can be difficult. I feel the food preparations are also relatively less oily compared to similar places. This is my go to place now.
Start your day the South Indian way with the delectable idlis, vadas, and dosas. At @sri_nidhi_veg_food which had Simple ambience, unbeatable taste, and wallet-friendly prices!
Indulge in the heavenly goodness of South Indian cuisine at their cozy eatery. From fluffy idlis to crispy dosas, their menu will leave you wanting more.
This place is my post gym hangout. You get good fruit juices, sandwiches and other north, south Indian cuisine 😋 this place doesn't have enough parking, but still it's heavily crowded and hard to find a table in the evening. There is no service hall, it's self service. However food tastes really good 👍 the prices are affordable too 😉 Do visit 😀
A go-to spot for breakfast lovers – quick, tasty, and always hits the spot! The self-service vibe keeps things breezy, and their Vada Sambar and Plain Dosa... Are Vaa!!
Legit heavenly bites.👌
Had cheese corn and mini meals, Quality and quantity was good. Too good to visit. Very well maintained
The ghee dosa was just yummy. My search for dosa ended here. The potato bhajii stuffed was just good. The chutney and sambar was very tasty too. But the dosa is too big for one to finish.
Food is good but little expensive. Ghee masala dosa and Open Dosa are recommended. Filter coffee is good.
Ambience is also decent .
What can you get for 50/- meal ? A fully loaded Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Butter milk, Chutney, Sandie, majjige menasinakai. A quality food 😋
Update (Nov'2023):
Went for breakfast post walking.
🍽 Thatee Idli:
It was so bad 👎 and didn't go well with chutney and watery veg. sagoo. It is also charged 40/-
🍽 Regular Idli :
It was decent 👍in preparation and taste.
🍽 Poori :
Was bigger in size and was well prepared 👍 Served with chutney and Veg. Sagoo
Veg Sagoo was watery and could have been better
🍽 Chow Chow bath:
Both Upma and Kesari bath were tasty 👍
Place is hygienic and not heavily crowded.
Update (Dec'2023)
Mushroom Chilli : Mushroom coated just enough. Light sauces, no fillers like capsicum, garlic. At the end except for chillies nothing left over in plate unlike elsewhere 👌
Paneer Manchurian : Good quality Panner coated just right and very tasty 👌
We had Dosa and Akki roti, the taste was good and best part is we can order from screen without the need of waiting near cashier.. The cost for two people was 140 rupees. We had paneer Tikka and costed around 180 rupees which was fresh. Only aspect at the entry of restaurant foul smell appears which makes one feel not to have food however taste is 😋
Update!!
After having the constant taste checks from different places found that they use taste enhancer Ajunomotto for all Chinese, gravy items. This is our latest visit and the cashier mentioned to ask the guy to not add taste enhancer.
