If you like how they kill ice creams like a Ninja at stops like cream stone and such; this place ain't for you! It doesn't have a pretty decor, or a thousand varieties to confuse you on the taste but what it slays with is the taste and creaminess of its ice creams. The chocolate ice cream being their signature deliciously melts in your mouth. I've always never had enough of it having had enough OF it! The place is 14years old and used to be one of the best ice cream parlours in 5th block till the time more decorative parlours turned up. The guys here aren't big on marketing either but then they have had certifications from burrp back old days which speaks of its quality!
Had visited this place as we were around koramangala,Talking about the place, the place is quite ordinary and has a pretty okay decor we had ordered chocolate fudge (regular) which costed 100/- which was quite okay as compared to other places like corner house and polar bear (price wise), there were 3 scoops of ice cream so all together it looked good, for the price we paid. When i tasted it the chocolate sauce on it was not good, service was okay .
Taste -2/5
Service -3/5
Value for money-4.5/5
Ambience -3/5
Would i recommend this place - Not really
Would i visit this place again -No
I ordered a mocha thick shake and even though the quantity could have been a little more the shake itself was delicious . The overall ambience was that of a small ice cream parlor , suitable for college students
Located on a calm and not very busy lane, away from the crowd of JNC road. Looks wise, not exactly like a fancy ice-cream parlour. But it does have ample seating area. Had the hot chocolate fudge ice cream which I can say was very OK! You can come here if you want a quiet ambience with decent enough desserts.
I have been to this place a few times now. I have tried the Gulkand icecream, Litchi milkshake and Hot chocolate fudge. All of them were too good. I like the open air ambiance here. Price is a bit on the higher side.
The no frills attached Ice Cream Parlour has been in business for more than 10 years an old school type ice cream joint similar to Corner House with a similar menu and pricing. Self serviced a Hot Chocolate Fudge but with Vanilla Choco Chip ice cream instead of Plain Vanilla. It was all good I liked the chocolate sauce a tad less sweeter than its counter part, which is good as it brings out the flavours more than just being sweet. A small menu, look else where if wanting more options in deserts. An alternate to Corner House on that rainy day 😉
I was introduced to edge by a girl who stayed close by to the place . Hidden from the traffic from the main road it has all the makings of good ice cream parlour. The Cake fudge , Cake a mocha ,brownie fudge and triple sundae are good . I am also a fan of their mint based ice creams . But all said and done , they haven't really improvised since i have been there three years ago . Definitely scope for improvement.
this is a sweet little place that serves amazing ice cream. Though i didn't like the taste of their brownie... but butterscotch tastes amazing... staff is very friendly and the best part is the peacefulness of the place.
Been here a couple of times with friends and family. Nothing much to say. It's like any other ice cream parlour. Had lichi thick shake once which was very satisfying. They have lot of flavours and all of them are pretty good. Some of them are not that great and boring to eat like the pistachio and vanilla. Some flavours are quite tasty like lichi.
Special mentions:
Hot chocolate.
Fruit bowl with ice cream and cream. ( yes cream and ice cream flavour choice!)
Cookies and cream on cone.
Must try cake fudge. One of the best chocolate sauce I've ever had. So much better than corner house.economical and tasty. One of my favourite hangout.
Very decent place in KHB colony for ice cream and some of the desserts. But it's somewhat copy of corner house may be I am wrong. Easily you can miss the place as it is situated like a hidden place. Ambience is really great. After hearing so many good stories about it I can't stop myself to try out a dessert place. Quality of ice cream is really good. If you compare the pricing with corner house and polar bear it's little pocket worthy what I have felt. Some of the good quality desserts they are serving you should try them. But their main USP is ice cream in ice cream some of my favourites are as follows. Rum n raisins in sundaes hot chocolate fudge junior you can try royal caramel as well. They are serving some milk shakes and nice fruit salads also. You will not disappoint your taste bud that’s for sure.
  Bon Appetite @Chef BB
Its a common misconception that people say they serve DBC and its a copy of corner house. But that's not the case .
First off all they serve their own brand of ice creams and they have some key ingredients/procedures to make ice creams.
Coming to the desserts I love there DBC, litchi apricot ice cream and seasonal strawberries and mangoes shakes.
The brownie used in DBC is light and that what elevates the taste to a whole new level. And the seasonal fruit shakes such as strawberries and mangoes are too good to try.
Value for money is 4/5 and its a must try if you haven't visited yet.
No matter where you eat your food, you come here to have your desserts.Thats what I experienced for years. The homely atmosphere & calm surrounding give away the serenity of mind.
They are sundae specialists and you should try the DBC,Night beauty & Black burst.
A sheer delight I must say !

+4.5
A nice place to chill out, the DBC is just awesome, another must try is the rum and resin, has a bit of a kick to it!!! If you are in the neighborhood it is a must visit
I've been here twice and both the times I've eaten the hot chocolate it's almost as the same as corner house the place is not crowded quiet place and the ice cream is worth the money. Cheers
Was too stuffed to try out the much talked about DBC. Ended up having the ice-creams.Decent enough, no real zing.
Some good combinations on offer though.
Pretty laid back place though. Didn't notice any crowd.
Edge is a place you should go for good desert at affordable rates. DBC (Death By Chocolate) is my personal favourite. Ambience isn't that great but it's a good place to relax.
Anybody who has lived in Koramangla long time will have definitely eaten here at least once. Used to be my go to adda after a heavy meal. I still visit once a month.
The owner has obviously worked in corner house before and copied everything from there. I don't care..i get the same desserts as corner house at 20â„… lesser price here. Corner house is always packed. Here tables are spaced out. A big plus is a clean rest room.
The regular choclate fudge is my fav. The only time i was let down was when i ate the choco mousse..foul and old. Rest is as good if not better than corner house. Parking easily available in parallel streets and nice place for long conversations over a fudge. Mmm
It's a tiny little place in a quiet street in Koramangala 5th Block.
They serve generous amount of ice-creams.
It has a no-frills kind of ambiance. If you are craving of generous helping of ice-creams you can head out here. The Death-by-Chocolate Ice-cream is really mighty. You need a really large appetite to finish it off :).
Since I took the regular favorites, I cannot write anything unique here.Â
But its a good place to meet up with a friend for a long chat. You'll find lot of people here doing just that ;P
Service - self service
Ambiance - 0
Pricing - does it matter
when ice creams are as good as this ?????
Food - 5 (or more if i can rate them higher)
DBC DBC DBC................
This place has been my haunt for as long as they have been open. N i would go for a DBC for brunch every day, when i was working in Koramangala.Â
Must try their chocolate sauce. Pure love it is . Perfect consistency , awesome texture and colour. Just perfect to add that zing to any desert you might choose.Â
Some might say as good as the corner house experience. Why not when the owner was previously with corner house too.Â
Also must try their brown bomb - with rocky road ice cream.
Parking probably a little easier on this road compared to the maim streets of kormanangala.
It's a lot like corner house. A little cheaper than corner house though. Has the same kind of ambience with pictures of the old Bangalore. The taste of ice creams is also like corner house and is really good.
This place is one of the preferred places for ice creams in case u want it light on ur pocket ( compared to corner house) . The menu is almost like corner house . Its a good place in case u want to sit n rest on a sunny day n u r tired roaming around . Well I ve been to ths place a couple of times and everytime I go thr I always try something new ! I would rate it as 3.5 .
I love this place for their ice cream called Spanish delight.. They say its' malt flavored, to me it tastes like a heavenly mix of chocolate, caramel and butterscotch.. It tastes best went it just begins to melt.. It is extremely sweet with few crunchy bits that'll surprise you
I have always been a faithful follower of Corner House until this one friend introduced me to Edge. I have lost the count of times I have been here, loooove their Sundaes – Banana Split, Choc-A-Mocha, Black Forest with Ice Cream & Cream, Sizzling Brownie, Fruit Salad with Ice Cream & Cream and Death by Chocolate. Desserts are on the huge side and intended for sharing! :)
Observation 1: After frequenting both Edge and Corner House, I have noticed that Edge charges Rs. 10-20 cheaper for same items sold in Corner House.
Observation 2: It’s a little testing to find Edge. Ambience is completely worn-out and one gets clammy if happened to sit outside the shutter area. Minus 1.0 for ambience.
This is undoubtedly the best place to eat icecream in Koramangala. Awesome for traditional icecream lovers.
Try their Chocolate Fudge. It's yummy.
The edge is situated really close to Ganesh Temple, Koramangala. You will mainly find college students at this place. This place is really good for ice-creams and shakes, but few know about the place. My friends and i tried DBC, Nutty Caramel and Hot chocolate fudge. All the ice-creams we had were quite good but the only thing i dint like here is the chocolate sauce, the sauce is not very well melted and very tiny pieces come in ur mouth which did not taste that great. Other than this everything was really good.. Must try place for ice-creams in Koramangala.
They have almost the same items in the menu as most of the ice cream joints and its quite pocket friendly. My friends and I ordered cake fudge and cashew fudge. Cake fudge was the yummiest. Ambience was also good. If you are looking for an ice cream joint which wont be heavy on your pockets and then this is the place. Will surely visit again.
Awesome ambience- a silent place in the heart of t city. No dust and away from the crowded koramangala streets.
One of the oldest ice cream parlours in koramangala.
Service- order to table time 10 min max.
Ice creams- old school, havent changed the menu a lot. But the combinations still hold good.
Shakes- real thick and addictive.
To be honest comparisons of this to corner house are unnecessary. Just because the setup is similar to corner house doesn't mean it's a copy. In that manner every bolllywood movie that we cherish is a copy or an 'inspiration' - as they like to call it ; of a very well known Hollywood movie yet we don't raise a concern.
Ambiance 2.5/5 - Very minimalistic serves the purpose. Setup away from the busy roads of Kora this place a a decent place to hangout at
Desserts - 3.5/5 - I've been here many times and with friends and we enjoy the cake fudge a lot. Death by chocolate is also a neat variant and the fresh fruit ice creams are a delight.
Service - can't really rate much because first it's self service and then the ice cream is served out really fast , but then it's ice cream so ... you do the math
Cost 5/5 - Cost effective, cheaper than corner house.
Awesome Ice-creams :D
Tried many but "Rum Punch" is my favourite there.Â
Its has a bit of bitterness factor, that pulls me towards it always.Â
Happy Eating.
Love ice-cream? You might have tried all fab brands but try @The Edge Koramangala. Menu is very much similar to other ice cream parlours but @ cheaper cost!! Ample space to sit & hang around with friends or couples. It is located inside colony so pollution & other noise disturbances are less. It is not an ac parlour but sitting area is quite comfortable and they do not ask you to go just after your ice cream is over.
Try Spanish delight!! Oh! I love it..
Had awesome ???? death by chocolate ???? with friends. Great place to hang out with friends. Decent Ambience and is cheaper than corner house. Try the banana split too...to sum it up its a decent place to hang out ????
This ice cream joint is located in Koramangala and is quite a replica of Corner House, but at a cheaper price!Â
The ambiance and the feel is like Corner House itself. I gave it a 4 and not 5 only cuz it is a copy. But nonetheless, the place is great and not much difference in the quality of their ice cream. I have had the DBC and Cake Fudge and both didn't disappoint! There are quite a few things on the menu which are their own.Â
The pricing is quite less when compared and that's a plus point for anyone who wants to chill and enjoy similar ice creams being much more pocket friendly. Recommend this place to anyone who loves ice cream!
Overall Experience :
Ice cream - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Price - 4/5
Ambiance - 3.5/5
Have been dropping by ever since the place opened around 9 years ago. Back then, first impression - "ah, corner house copy" and first thought - "so what, it's icecream". So all those many many years ago, this was the only place dedicated to icecream in the neighbourhood before the trend caught on. And now when I visit here, more because of the nostalgia associated with the place, I can't help but wonder how the same thing tastes at corner house, about two lanes away. But icecream rules, no matter who serves it.
So favourites here - double scoops of cookie and cream flavour ( sore about the fact that there was a time when I paid around 40 bucks and now it's around 70rs for 2 scoops). Like rock choc and vanilla flavours with the choc chips too.
Hot chocolate fudge here was our dessert king when in college and the malt choc shake more or less made for a meal when in hostel. The shake is recommended only for the die-hard chocoholic. Then the loyalty was/ is divided between cake fudge and cake-a-mocha. I like the mousse here, not a fan of the cream that accompanies it. And DBC, well, it will always be about Corner House, won't it?
The dad loves the icecream with caramel and nuts here. Their seasonals, especially the strawberries and cream, are nice.
So yes, plenty of options to choose from in the neighbourhood now and Edge sort of ranks up there.
All students who doesn't like to burn a whole in ur pockets bt enjoy gud ice cream....visit edge...the place hav awesme ice creams at the best prices....try the sundaes and the cake and ice cream combos...those r to die for..if ur a newbie and hav no idea wat to try go fr cake fudge..black beauty..cake a mocha..fruit salad wth jelly and icecream..etc etc smethng to start wth..:)
This place is really peaceful and the ice creams here are yummm
The DBC here is not as good as the one in corner house but it's gud enough
After corner house this is the second best place to eat DBC especially
An ice cream joint near Jyothi Nivas college that has a menu that is an exact copy of Corner House... Its for those times when we are looking to have those authentic Corner House ice cream dishes at a little cheaper price... Though quality seems like it's not compromised, it lacks that something something which you get from eating at any Corner House joints... If not for the similarities, Edge is another great place to have a cup of ice cream at a better price...
Great ice-cream, great sundaes, great service.
The interiors and ambience can be made appealing.
if you are in kormangala. you should never miss the edge ice creams. the burrp certified ICe creams are just amazing. I always go for the super Sunday.. comes with all dry fruits.. hot chick syrup and three different scoop if ice cream flavours. 100 percent recommended for youngsters bunking class and elders wanting their young days
The place to visit for ice cream. Ordered a sizzling icecream- so palatable. During night time 11ish - the place is worth going. Polite staff and the service also was quick. Well maintained and reasonably priced for koramangla. Music played was in kannada though- couldn't understand anything :)
Truly a hidden gem in Bengaluru. A must visit for dessert connoisseurs and chocolate lovers. Special mention to the 7 Chocolate sundae. Must try.
Nice place to chill out and just have a good time with friends, family.
You won't be dissapointed
We had choco nutty ice cream cone. Rate wise too reasonable plus the taste was also good. Must recommended for the people who love variety in ice creams.
Just an ice cream parlour. Nothing too fancy. They have a decent menu of Sundaes and a very tempting range of Ice Cream Cakes, all of which are available whole or by the slice.
The place itself is bright and clean with friendly staff and modern minimal interiors. The sundaes are generous, affordable and made well. Overall though the desserts are sweet, more like Corner House than like Milano.
This place is a good alternative when you're bored of eating the same old ice cream at Corner House, which by the way is literally around the corner from Havmor.
Definitely worth visiting. Definitely worth the money.
Must visit place for ice-cream at reasonable price. Though I've not tasted much flavours, those I did were actually good. Very few people visit there.
The new outlet of Koramangala. I did try the new Sundaes, Rainbow Cassata and Sundae feast Both were good, they come with mix fruits, ice-cream waffle. I did request them to add fresh mangos instead of mix fruits. Being a ice-cream lover. I enjoyed every bite of it. Must visit place. Parking might not be an issue as its located in the residential layout.
Nice place to eat lovely icecream and catch up
Nice place and very attentive staff. Ice cream was great and had many customising options. Affordable and tasty.
Place is good, has a good setup.
The ice creams are really worth Ur money and they have a lot of variety to select from
Great varieties of Icecreams
Nice ice cream good veirty but a bit not pocket friendly
Many types of ice cream available, great combination of flavors.
New outlet with range of ice-cream. Can enjoy with family.
Nice shop. Icecream quantity and quality is good
