Awesome food ,good service.. good ambience .. best assamese food in Bangalore without a doubt. Good quantity and also well spread menu,is a must for assamese food lovers.
Awesome food. Now I know where to go when I am craving for home made food. We ordered for veg thali, pork with lai saag and smoked pork. The food was mildly spiced - no loads of masalas. Just the way I like it. The complementary soup was flavourful. The kheer at the end of the meal was yummy. Absolutely loved this place. Will definitely visit again
The taste reminds me of home. The pork was good. Chicken tasted authentic. The fish was bit smelly.
Overall I liked the place
The food was so nice that I felt I was having food at home. The staff is really friendly and very courteous.
excellent place to have authentic Assamese food in Bangalore.
My Most Favorite Place - The First Name that comes to my mind if I think to go out and have some delicious food in weekend is ..... Gam's Delicacy ...
"Authentic Assamese Cuisine" with the combination of the real taste of Assam (Aru logote Zubeen-Paponor gaan) .. I really feel having food at my home along with my whole family though we are far away from them..
A place to be for authentic Assamese cuisine. The best of the lot, my choice, would be pork with mustard seeds.
Nice actually I will say good. Awesome food, 899 for 2 people am surprised DAT too wid beers and loads of pork and all 3 different dishes.
Great ambience, lovely service, yummy food. Helo owner, actually ur staff is wonderful..Maintain the same.
Absolutely Brilliantly done. Its like GOD SEND. If you happen to carve for Assamese cuisine. This is the place to be. Authentic and maintained the consistency that is served in Assam. Loved every bit of it. Cheers and all the best.
One cent of advise(you can ignore), the music which was playing was pop, rock. It would be great if that can be substituted by folk or Assamese songs. It might add a little more feel to the place
Authentic Assamese cuisine... Must visit.. I love their hospitality, awesome
Grt place... Food us awesome... Enjoyed a lot...
If you are from Assam do visit , feels like home ♥️
Have visited this restaurant twice till now. Good ambience portraying assamese culture. I have tried quite many of the items in their menu and the taste was pretty good. However, the chicken khorika is still my favourite. If you want to make your Non Assamese acquaintances to taste some good Assamese cuisines this is exactly the right place over here in Bangalore.
Visit this place if you want to try Assamese cuisine.. It is the perfect place. I often visit this place when I want to taste something Assamese homely food.. Really like the place.. Decent crowd and family place
Was looking for assamese food in Bangalore, and when I found this, wasn't too sure if it'll be good or bad. We ordered rice, mati daal, Lai xaak pork and ou tenga pork as soon as we entered the restaurant.
To my surprise, it was really good and homely food.
The portions and quantity was sufficient for two (each dish). We ended up finishing two bowl of rice. However, the Lai xaak pork tasted a little different than what I had in Assam. Probably the flavor was a little less, but it was good nonetheless. Looking forward to try out Patot Diya Gahori and Bamboo Shoot Pork, two iconic dishes from Assam. Though Bamboo shoot pork is pretty popular in Nagaland as well and Probably the origin.
People craving for homely food should try out must. Going to visit again.

Assamese cuisine is something that hasn't undergone much of a change throughout the years because of a certain amount of isolation from the rest of the country as well as its independence from invadors. However, people have quite a misconception when it comes to Assamese food. For starters, Momos and noodles are not Assamese cuisine. So to explore an authentic taste of Assam, we visited the Gam's delicacy on a Saturday afternoon. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The staff was Assamese, and there were wall hangings of Japis and Xorais on the table, bell metal glasses and plates with Bihu songs playing in the background giving you an enigmatic feel of this northeastern land.
We ordered the Akhuji(Assamese thali), the Chicken Khorika, Duck with sesame seeds, Pork with Lai saak and Ari fish tenga. The food was extremely delicious albeit a bit heavy for the four of us.
Starting with the Akhuji, this was the perfect representation of Assam. We started with the Khar, the alkaline content to the meal. The portions of Pitika, mati daali and pumpkin curry was plain, simple, without any spices or masala added. In short, the ethnicity of Assam was well maintained in the dishes. The dishes were a tad bit sweet, which comes from the additions of the pumpkin (rongalow). The only thing we missed was the kaji nemu(lemon) to go with the daals. The Joha rice was a bit heavy but we were so overtaken by the salivating dishes that we had more of it than usual. Duck with sesame seeds, another mouth watering dish especially of the hilly regions of Assam was quite well prepared in here. The gravy was on spot. Not too thick, perfectly consistent.
The Pork with Lai saak too was an awesome treat. Prepared with Ou tenga(elephant apple), a fruit found only in Assam, this dish with the Joha rice was like a travel back to our childhood memories.
And finally, the Ari fish tenga. Following the great Assamese tradition, we started our meal with Khar at the beginning and the Tenga at the end. Perfectly cooked in tomato and papaya which gives that sourness to the dish is the complete 'Aitar hathor randha'(grandma's cooked meal).
The Rice pudding as the dessert was again a perfect bookend to the evening.
. Looking forward to new dishes of Pitha, and Paro(pigeon) from the team.
Overall had an amazing experience .. will be back for sure.
Authentic assamese food .. all the Assamese out there , go grab it.. good ambience.. Went during Rongali Bihu , Buffet was with varieties, duck meat was the best! keep up the good work 😊✌️
We always tend to find people from our homeland whenever we move out of it.
This place is like a home to us assamese people who love to hog on daal, bhaat and aloo pitika. Homely food and pocket friendly.

The best place to enjoy assmese food in bangalore. Tried their veg thali, fish curry with tomato and chicken khorika. Service is average. Taste wise it was simply awesome i felt like I'm eating at my home. Overall i really liked this place and definitely recommend it. Cheers!!!...
I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch. I was a bit under the weather and wanted something nice but simple. Landed at this place on a friend’s suggestion. The ari fish patot literally blew up my mind! I think I encounter a short food comatose. A must try place for authentic Assamese cuisine.
The food tastes like home. The staff was extremely courteous. Although a bit pricey . It was worth it . Felt like home away from home . The thali was very good. Their potato duck curry is also very tasty . Minimalist and delicious food. A big thumbs up from our side . My mother who came from Assam loved their food. We will surely go there again and also recommend it to our colleagues.
Authentic Assamese taste. People who miss their home in Assam can come here. Food is really good and tasty. Well budget might be the issue because the price is little too high.
We went there for lunch. To be honest, we went there without checking on Zomato and had little or no idea that is was an Assamese restaurant. Must say, we were not disappointed with our choice. We ordered joha rice, plain dal, ilish fish, chicken with sesame and chicken patot diya. We were particularly impressed by chicken with sesame as it had a unique taste. It is quite a budget friendly restaurant and gives you the feel of ghar ka khana if you are a Bengali. Would love to visit again.
I have been missing Assamese food since long when I was there in Mumbai for the last three years.. I reach Bangalore and Bingo I get a lovely fulfilling Assamese meal after like ages.. The Akhaj containing Rice, two types of Dal, Khar, Veg sabzi, Pitika was served nicely in traditional brassware. The show-stealer were the Khorika and the green dry chutney which were unbelievably good...
Would like to come here again with my friends..
Being an Assamese this is where I come when I crave Assamese food. Authentic and just right. Might not be the best place to try other cuisines. U can blindly go for the Assamese thali and chicken with sesame seeds. Khub bhaal!
I had ordered from and have visited Gam’s Delicacy several times since it opened. The most worthy Assamese selection is Akhaj, the Assamese thali served in nice brass utensils and contains hot n soft Joha rice, a very basic plain dal, mati dal (urad dal or black gram or iski-mati-ka-dal), green veg fry (spinach and brinjal or brinjol pakoras combo which obviously isn’t totally green), menu says green herb fry but I wonder if missed that! Pitika – mashed potatoes (Pitika is a cute word and I’m sure you’ll like repeating it aloud and quick with each time you take a Pitika bite…LOL…), and end up simple light kheer...there goes the good burp! Alongside the thali are normal lemon (not that lovely Kaji nemu) slices, bottled pickles and that lethal chutney containing famous Bhut jolokia, the ghost pepper! \m/ Alert – watch out before you dab your fingers to lick. I missed that coriander peppery soup which comes with the thali, before the thali and is bloody delicious. They don’t include soup in the parcel though.
So, ideally you take this veg thali and order side curry bowl. Any fish tenga (the restaurant will suggest you fresh fish) or chicken or duck or pork. Among the curry bowls cooked with any animal protein, must try combos are with banana flower or bamboo shoot or ou tenga or gourd tomato or lai sak and sesame seed. Don’t ask me how I really hankered for a wooden mug of traditional rice beer in here. Wait! I did smell rice beer. Strongly suggested to add that in the menu. Get me a free thali if this hit isn't a hit. Request for Papon with guitar in background but would also love to hear some Assamese rock and metal (not brass as you're already eating on it!)
I was not very impressed by pork khorika. Pork fried and pork starter items are a bit chewy (perhaps taken out refrigerated) and lacks the taste that I expect. Never tried mutton in here neither will I in future, no point. All the items are bit on the costlier side making your your wallet slightly lighter except for thali which is lighter on the stomach. I'm not posting any photos of thali as they all look alike ;-) Well, the best Assamese restaurant option in namma Bengaluru. I’m a regular here. A question to ponder, maga - Why on earth would you order anything other than Assamese food in here?
Gam's Delicacy Bangalore : Been to this place for Assamese cuisine since the first time it opened up in Bangalore.
Let's start with food:
Starter:
1. Pork dry ( Not so good, as it should be. Pork is very hard)
2. Borali Patot Diya , This is a must try Assamese dish if you love fish. Steamed Fish wrapped in banana leaf, marinated with garlic, onion, ginger, and chilly paste.
3. Duck fry: This is a serious delicious meat dish. Another must try Assamese dish
4. Pork with Laai xaak: Pork dry served with lettuce
Mains:
Assamese thali: Food is served in copper and brass plate, as a symbol of Assamese cuisine. Thank comes with Khaar (Papaya paste curry), Aloo Pitika (Mashed potato), Maati dal (Black dal), O'tenga jul (Elephant apple sweet curry) and famous Assamese rice - Joha Saul
Duck curry: Duck meat cooked with white gourd (One of my most recommended dish 😋)
One note: Joha Rice is not pure. It doesn't take like the real Joha rice.
Another good place for Assamese cuisine in Bangalore. But I feel price is too high compared to other North Eastern restaurants. So it will be good if price can be looked upon.
Overall 3.5/5
Food 3.8/5
Service 4/5
An ideal place to have homely authentic Assamese cuisine.Food is yummy and super light on the stomach.Loved the fish pitika and the brinjal fries. Service can be a little bit faster. Overall a place worth of recommendation.
A regular at this place. Love the pork thali, duck thali. Really good homely Assamese food.super pork, chicken, duck starters! Fish pitika is awesome.. decently priced.. 500 each for a delightful, healthy food. Worth the money.. only problem is their service. Slow as cooking mutton over low flame. Understand they prepare freshly but 10 mins to get cutlery! Overall a nice, cool experience.
We stepped into this place craving for some Assamese food and they were just amazing at it.. the captain (Ravindra) suggested just the right stuff and the food was really tasty. We ordered for plain dal, aloo bhaji, chk korikha, chk patot and rice..
They need to work on the Ambience and the place seemed to be falling apart at a few corners otherwise we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this place. Cheers guys
If you want to try authentic Assamese cuisine in Bangalore, this is the place. Food is real close to taste of Assam. Simple, not so spicy and healthy (comparatively) meals are served, with the touch of Assamese household with use of “Kanhar Kahi” (special serving plates).
Some of the must tries here are Banana flower chicken, Pabha fish, Ari fish, Barali fish with Ou-tenga (elephant apple) along with the Assamese thali.
Tip: try to go on a normal day instead of Bihu season, when there’s less crowd.
Being away from home i love this place where i get the homie food, feels home.Gam's Delicacy all times favourite I loved, the food here.
Food quantity is good. Friendly and helpful staff. Keep up the good work.
This restaurant is love. Being away from home, delicacy provides the right treatment to the assamese taste buds longing for authentic food in a faraway land. Keep rocking. 😊
Outstanding. If you're feeling homesick and craving for assamese food than this is the place you should check in. On entering you'll be greeted warmly by the servers. The bihu songs of zubeen played will bring back your memories. Food items are delicious starting from khar, tenga maas, smoked pork, pork bamboo shoot. Price is reasonable.
Gam's delicacy it is for an authentic Assamese dining experience !!
The ambience of the place, the cutlery, the music and the courteousness of the staff would definitely make you feel at home if you're an Axomia and feeling a bit homesick.
For people trying out the Assamese cuisine, would recommend going for the thali as it would provide a variety of tastes for the palate. Great pork items and the Pork khorika is a must-have there.
Would definitely recommend folks to try it out and experience a bit of Assam in the way we dine!!
Having eaten in pretty much all the North Eastern places around 7th block, decided to try Gam’s delicacy a month ago.
Housed in the adjacent building of the popular places like Zingron and Smoky tribe and Bang Opposite to Axomi, it’s on the 4th floor. The lift that takes us there appears to be the same ferrying all the raw materials. It smelled quite stale.
The interior is plain and simple with arts and artefacts of Assam. I found some of their brass tableware pretty nice.
We ordered Joha rice, Ari (Hopefully I got it right) fish Tenga, duck fried, pork with banana flowers and kheer.
The Joha rice was no different from a regular steamed rice. No aroma and nothing to differentiate between a good steamed rice from Joha rice.
The Fish tenga (Fish curry) was really good. Spiced right and the fish was quite easy to eat.
The duck was delicious.
Pork with banana flowers was exceptional. This is the first time I tried this combination and I am glad I did.
The kheer was really well made. Right amount of sugar too.
The staff is polite but the service was very very slow. They admitted that they were understaffed that day. In fact there was just one guy on a Saturday afternoon to cater to all the tables.
About 1100 rupees, the food I found it value for money.
It was an amazing experience which I definitely didn’t expect.. Such beautiful flavors in the food which even made something as simple as potato fry so unique to my taste buds.. Took a friend with me from another country to taste Assamese food and I couldn’t have been prouder of their hospitality and the display of those yummy cuisines...
my friend wants to visit the place again and couldn’t stop talking about the food yet with his friends 🤗
In search of North East Cuisine..Landed up in Gams’s Delicacy. Food is amazing especially the flavours of North East exists in it which is the key to the menu, Overall Experience 4🌟

Whenever i crave food from Assam Gam’s Delicacy is the place to be.
Was there with friends this bihu and we all had a heartfelt and satisfying meal.
Heaven for Pork Loves.
Must Have: Pork Khorika
We were in the mood to try Assamese for dinner last Sunday and had decided on Axomi but as luck would have it due to some renovation work they were closed. The thought of having Assamese food still strong in our minds we instead headed to Gams Delicacy which is located bang opposite to Axomi. It's on the fourth floor of the same building which has Corner House. My suggestion is to use the stairs because the elevator is in a pathetic condition. It smells like shit inside; wonder why there's no maintenance.
Gam's Delicacy is infact a big brand with branches even in Guwahati and Delhi. The decor is pretty sweet and simple having traditional objects like Gamucha and Xorai. The best part is the music with a beautiful playlist having melodious Assamese songs in the background.
We settled down and ordered 3 Veg Thalis (Akhaj) along with Chicken Patot Diya and Pork with Lai Sak.
The Thali was served royally in a brass plate. It had - Rice (Joha variety), Pitika (Mashed Potatoes), 2 varieties of Dal (Plain Dal & Mati Dal), 2 types of Veg Curry, Brinjal Fry & Rice Kheer. The Thali is unlimited and one can eat generously. I absolutely loved the Daal and the Pitika. Reminded me of homemade Sheddobhaat. Taste wise Assamese Cuisine is very similar to Bengali Cuisine and I loved all the items in the Thali.
The Chicken Patot Diya was served on banana leaf. Let me tell you that it tasted phenomenal. It's a little bit on the spicier side but highly recommended. The Pork curry was also extremely flavourful. Infact I had never thought that a gravy based pork curry with spinach could taste so good. Pork was succulent and perfectly cooked. Tasted heavenly with their Johar Rice. Best part was even after hogging so much we dint feel stuffed. It actually felt light on the tummy.
Budget wise it's moderately priced. The unlimited thali comes for 220/- and Non veg curries are priced around 300/- We paid 1400/- for our meal. One drawback is the service time (20- 30 mins approx).
Overall, Gam's Delicacy is a hidden gem in the city for Assamese cuisine. Visit once and am sure you wouldn't regret.
Bon Appetit :)
Though a bit slow, they serve delightful authentic Assamese food.
The Akhaj (i.e. thali) is a must try for all those people from Assam who miss home food.
The pork khorika is something that all pork lovers will fancy at this place.
The fish pithika is genuine. It’s exactly how they serve in Assam.
To summarise, the experience was worthy and I’d definitely go there again when I wish to have authentic Assamese Food.
However, the state of the washrooms are unacceptable.
As soon as we entered the place, the room was filled with Bihu songs and that reminded me of my hometown and how I miss it. So I became very excited to taste it food too.
Everything was going very well, the pork with Lai Xaak , maati maahor daali and everything, the only thing which I didn't like was patot Diya aaarhi Maas, which tasted weird and not at all patot diyaa. I was expecting patot diyaa steamed fish , but it tasted something else.
Thus I give the rating: 3.5/5.
P.S. : please add more Assamese varieties and improve the patot Diya fish
Well thinking about Assamese delicacy? This is the prefect place to hop in. The place is more like you’re in Assam, the people, the interior, the food everything is so synced. Had a good time back there with my students. Loved the food!
Great traditional Assamese food served with good service. It has almost all delicacies of Assam. Fish dishes are excellent. They could slightly work on the pricing though!
If you are an Assamese or if you want to try Assamese Food, this is the place to go to! Always loved the service over here. Humble people. Thalis are hugely recommended. The pork is awesome. Everything is awesome. Even the kheer is a must try.
It has been 6 months since I came to Bangalore, being an Assamese I really missed my native food. But, after these months I finally fulfilled my cravings by visiting this awesome place!! luv to visit again

Small place to accommodate costumers but yeah food is really good. Bar is huge with wide variety of drinks from Indian to imported. Service is good, waiters are soft. Good place to go!!
Really good food! Assamese cuisine AUTHENTIC to the T! Highly convenient location, and good service cum ambience. Reasonable pricing. A bit more consistency is required in the dishes served. One of the best places in Bengaluru to have a sumptuous meal after a long, tiring day.
Being away from home I was missing Assamese food like hell. So me along with my friend landed at Gam's . I went with great expectations and they had made sure we were not disappointed. We were welcomed in a very homely gesture. The ambience was great with the bihu songs at the background. We ordered veg thali, pork with bamboo shoot, smoked pork fry, fish pitika, fish fry. The food was heavenly each and every items were so well cooked. A must visit to assamese cuisine and pork lovers.
All time favourite food ..
ambience 4.5/5
Food 5/5
Service 3/5
Service need to be improve overall the quality of food , ambience is very nice ..
Wht to say about dis place......it’s like home away from home. Awesome food, nice ambiance n cosy environment , the lai shak with pork n joha rice was really a surprise as i didn’t expect it to be sooo gooood ! The staff was also good and I loved the service here... the theme of restaurant of Assam really homely and it gives you a feel of Assam ..Assamese music,Assamese environment .
Definitely will visit again soon..keep rocking guys.
If you are looking for some authentic Assamese food,
You should really try this place, I tried the fish with mustard seed and chicken fry along with the veg thali, it was awesome
This place got the taste best, been here 3 months ago. Writing the review now.
If you people would sell drinks again just like old days it will be great and I would be happy to come again with a bunch of my friends.
The Assamese cusine is awesome.
Khati axomia.
Authentic Assamese food cooked in raw authentic style. If u are an Assamese and miss home food u should definitely visit here. Service is very good and ambience is good too with Assamese songs playing at the background. There are very limited options for Assamese cuisine in Bangalore. I found this the best one so far.
I'm really fond of trying different cuisines and I was really excited to try out the Assamese food, so I chose this place.
Firstly, this place doesn't has a very fancy ambience but one needs to try out this place just for the food especially Assamese food.
Secondly, the food, we had ordered for many things, starting with the dal, fish curry with potatoes, brinjal fry and bamboo shoot chicken.
On our requests they had even served us the red chillies and had made the food super spicy. I loved the bamboo shoot chicken and the dal.
Third, the management is really sweet as they suggested us so many things and made things according to our demand.
One needs to visit this place just to enjoy the Assamese food with friends and family.
Good place for Assamese food, the thali was decent in terms of presentation and taste (items which are part of the thali are unlimited).
The place is clean and the decor inviting.
The staff are friendly and hospitable.
The fish item which we ordered (fish steamed in banana leaf) had a peculiar smell which did not go well. The roasted pork dish was good.
Price is a bit steep.
Otherwise a decent place.
I just love this place. Get to have few authentic Assamese cuisine . Never been dissatisfied on my any visits. I love their Pork Kharika the most. This is actually better thn the one we have in GHY is what I have experienced.
Been here for a lunch. We preferred to have the authentic north east thali, which was well placed with different items. Also had rahu mustard paste fish gravy and chicken with potato Curry.
Just felt, the price was high and the service can be more quick around. Though the taste was good.
Amazing Assamese food especially. The pork fry was really good, as the fat and meat were separate. So that was nice. Also the mashed potatoes and the fried potatoes was great.
The leaf wrapped fish was really great. The only thing I felt is that the staff need to smile a bit. Also they need to be a little friendly and loosen up. Otherwise the place is really nice.
If you crave for authentic Assamese cuisine then this is d place. They serve the Asamese thali in traditional kahor kahi( bell metal dishes). For someone new to Assamese cuisine , would recommend fish gravy with elephant apple( ou tenga). Kuddos to the Restaurant management as their service is awesome(they constantly checks if we liked the food) n are open to any comments n suggestions. Would definitely visit again with friends.
Assamese by heart and soul.. so of course this would be my destination when m home sick.. I love their pork khorikaa, thali, duck roast, paatot diya Maas, masor pitika.. missing Assamese home food .. gams is my only rescue.. service is excellent.. friendly staff .. n dey serve draught beer too.. wowww ...
Delicious Assamese food, we tried the pabhua fish in tomato curry and the pork in banana flower along with Assamese thali. Our waiter explained all the dishes, and made good recommendations. Will be going back to try out more dishes.
Authentic Assamese cuisine at its very best! Courteous n friendly staff with quick service too. However it was raining outside n i spotted a rat dash into a corner, so that kinda ended up killing the excitement. So the management should probably look into the hygiene a bit more. Otherwise, the best place in bangalore to go for some homely oxomiya food. :)
Good place, good food. They just need to maintain their consistency. I've been there thrice and every time it tasted different, first two times were okay nothing special. This review is solely based on my third visit, loved it.
Good service. Located at a very convenient location. Ordered a Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, Chicken Manchow Soup and Chicken Momos. Momos were pretty delicious. The Soup was tasty. The Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani had a different taste but definitely tasted good. Momos did take a little long to be prepared though.
Excellent authentic Assamese food. Anyone who misses assamese food can enjoy the food here. It's not only the recipes that are good but also many of the ingredients- which are not available in bangalore -are sourced from outside, so i go there from time to time mainly to eat those items. Specifically Lai Xak (mustard greens), Ou Tenga (elephant apple), khorisa, borali & ari fish, joha rice etc. My favourites are pork with lai xak, ari/borali with ou tenga/green veg, joha rice, duck with gourd.
Authentic Assamese cuisine which one should never miss over here :)
Had mind_blowing unlimited akhaj_thali and chicken with banana flower!!
Prompt service, simple decor. and excellent meal will surely make your day ;)
Loved my Sunday and would ask any of the individual to enjoy your time for food at dis place \m/

Also they have a clean and simple ambience.
We went there on a rainy day and thanks to the welcome soup , we felt warm

It is surely one of the best restaurant in Bangalore. Moreover Assamese food is very delicious and food prepration is very unique. The ambience was great and quite. The food was FRESH. We ordered smoked chicken, chicken with bamboo shoot, rohu fish and a thali and it was very nice. Overall very good experience.
Food was amazing...dont miss pork chilli and fish cooked in banana leaf... Meal was very filling for quite a nominal price... Good ambience and excellent service....And most important, neat and clean toilet.. Thanks
Gam's is one of the places in Bangalore to try out my own Cuisine..i.e Assamese Cuisine..Maas'r tenga.. and some other assamese dishes..but the price is lil costly ..well but its worthy
If you wana taste some authentic assamese food, then this is the place. Decor is simple, gives you the feel of restaurants in Assam which was pleasing because it felt like being in my hometown and dining. So we ordered the Assamese meal, duck with gourd and pork with lai sak. The meal is basically a veg thali with rice, 2 types of daal, one veg curry, dry veg sabji, khaar and mash potato. Pork with lai sak is my all time favourite and i loved this dish. The taste was really authentic, just like home. The portion was more than enough for one person. Duck meat was a killer as well. I'm not that fond of duck meat but it was really delicious. Pork and Duck is a must try. Overall had a great time with some good food. Surely gonna visit more often.
Awesome food.....real delicacy.... n service was so quick n the staff was completly at the service....
Isko kehte hai dil se khaana aur khilana.....
Authentic Assamese cuisine with value for money options.
Their thali is really awesome not to mention super healthy as there is less masala and oil. Other authentic dishes also very good.
This is straight from the heart
Best Assamese restaurant in Bangalore, must visit. If you want to experience the traditional taste of Assamese food you should/must visit Gam's delicacy. You would love it. The service is good, price is reasonable and the food is top of the line❤️❤️
The sugar cane juice was the perfect amount of cold and was the sugar rush I needed before the meal. The veg thali is out of this world, very light to eat and you can take multiple servings of the items you loved. The mutton and chicken curry which we had ordered was also very homestyle which I appreciated. The place transports you to Assam and this is the place you must visit as the food which feels like a warm hug.
Visited on a sunday afternoon for lunch, waiting time was about 5-10 mins to get a table. Ordered veg thalis along with duck curry, fish curry and chicken khorika. The food arrived moderately on time and tasted quite good and authentic, as we had hoped it to be, being one of the few assamese outlets in the city. Portion sizes were adequate for the price. However, the service could be improved greatly as the servers didn't seem much interested in interacting with the guests. Ambience of the restaurant was average, seating and decor could be made better. Since it is located in a busy area, parking can be an issue during peak hours.
Very good axom food and very close to the authentic homely axom food. Went to have 'suthki mach' dried fish but didn't t find it 😂 that's totally on me . 😂 That delicacy is home food due to the smell it gives out. But they did have dried fish paste... Which was pretty good.
Must have their thaki in kasa ( copper) utensils. Feels like a Raja.

It was a wonderful experience first time tried Assamese cuisine and i liked it very much it's authentic taste😋 I loved it
I've visited the restaurant a couple of times, and it always seems to impress me with the authentic flavor of Assam, even though it's far away from homeland the restaurant doesn't compromise with the taste and the quality of the food. If you are looking for authentic Assamese cuisine here you must visit this restaurant.
I'm a Malayali and I tried Assamese Cuisine for the first time and it's just mind blowing..... Poori with Ghugni and small potato fry is just the best....
Best place in Bengaluru to savour Assamese cuisine. Loved the Assamese veg thali, mutton and smoked chicken. Will definitely visit again to try other items.
I ordered a Veg thali and fish fry. The veg thali was amazing. The food tasted yummy & it’s definitely new that I haven’t tried before. The vegetables served had a taste of wasabi. Loved all their dishes served with the thali.
I think this place serves a decent Assamese cuisine
Their Veg thali and prawns fry is a must try
If u like Assamese food then you must visit this place in Koramangala.. the food is presented in a traditional manner in brass and bell metal crockery .. the taste is out of the world .. you must order Akhaj (Assamese traditional Veg Thali) and can order Khorika and Tenga and stir fries...
Quaint little restaurant for lovers of Assamese delicacies. Has quite a lot of options on the menu, but their service was pretty slow, although it wasn't that crowded when we took our seats. The food was homely and good overall.
We ordered thalis and mutton, fish and pork dishes all of which were good enough, except the fish dish we which was found to be quite flavorless and not as fresh.
If you are from assam and want to feel home in bangalore, you should definitely visit this place. The ambience, the assamese music, gamusa, japi everything felt so good. The food tasted exactly like home cooked. They even served us paan tamul (supari) after our meal which made the meal complete. Must visit!
Best Assamese food n feel in whole Bengaluru
Decent food for Bangalore standard. Portion size for some items is huge so please check with the wait staff.
If you haven't tasted Axomiya/Assamese cuisine, this is the best place to excite your palate. Must order Duck with Kumura/gourd, Smoked Pork fry and mustard Illish Maas. Again, the Assamese thaali is also recommended!!
Delicious Assamese food. Thali presentation was perfect. Their thali is vegetarian. Non-veg dishes are add-ons. We ordered a portion of pork on the side. All items were excellent. Polite, and friendly wait staff. Pleasant ambience.
