Visited this place yesterday, nice cozy space with a good ambience. Food is reasonable and quantity is decent. A good place for Chinese. Definitely coming back here again
I ordered from here through Swiggy. I was very happy with Chung Wah staff who customized my food taking the suggestion seriously. I enjoyed the meal. Thanks team.
Food was good, need to improve on ambiance. Had order manchow soup was served piping hot, veg crispy dumplings was bit oily for our taste buds but was ok. And ordered veg schezwan noodles which was spicy and good.
In our area one of the best Chinese restaurant very tasty food reasonable prize 3 persons with soup.n snax max 1000 very good service and fast service
Food was good and the delivery was fast
I guess there is no need to tell about Chung wah outlets. I'm pretty sure everyone would have visited the chain somewhere or the other. This branch is equally good as other branches. The taste is the same and service is also good.
Taste: 4.0
Ambience: 3.5
Service: 4.5
They have many outlets all over Bangalore and one of the oldest chains serving Chinese n Cantonese food .
I won't say food is great , but they have maintained there quality and portion over the years.
Decent food at cheap pricing.
It's a comfort food n comfort place for me since I like Chinese food ..
Whenever I am lazy to dress up or m sick of Bangalore traffic ...I just walk into there Sadashiv nagar outlet as it's close to my house.
Most of the times it's a take away or home delivery for me....
M sure those who r from Bangalore r well aware of this place.
Super quick service.
I visit this place atleast once in a month when I have craving for Indian Chinese food n have tried almost all dishes on menu....

Probably the best Chinese place in Sadashivnagar area. The service is super quick and the food is served hot and Chung wah lives up to its name in this outlet.
Manchow soup, Basil Chicken, drums of heaven are really great here. The ambience and seating is pretty good with choice of both indoor and outdoor options. All in all this is a good place for good, reasonable and fast Chinese food.
I had been here for a friend’s birthday.
I couldn’t taste any non vegetarian dishes for some reason
But yeah the vegetarian dishes was also mouth watering 🤤
Would really like to go to hog some non vegetarian there again
Best Chinese food you will get here
I want to rate this restaurant ~ 4.5
Has been my go to place for years. The quality has dipped a bit. But will come back again to check. Simple Chinese food(Indian Chinese that we all love). The leefoo fried rice is my favourite here. Service is not bad. The ambiance has remained the same for the last 5 years. Worth a visit.

Good food! Prompt service. The ambience of the restaurant could be a little bit better. Also the number of tables in the restaurant is a little less, make it difficult to accommodate a lot of people during peak hours.
It is your best bet when looking for a quick and affordable Chinese food outlet. With an impressive spread of outlets across the city, Chung Wah rarely disappoints. Ideal for both dine in and home delivery.
Love the Chung wah fried rice with egg, mushroom, chicken. Best fried rice I've ever had. When you're craving good Chinese food. This is it.
Great food but the ambience is fine. But a personal choice. Some may love the quiet ambience.
The food is great. Haven't had any bad meal here till now.
Manchow soup is a standout. As well as the crispy spinach chicken.
Been here for a long time , probably one of the most consistent restaurants around.
Good place for some Chinese food that is delicious. DO not care about the presentation, as the taste is simply delicious and so is the portion sizes on offer.
First time I have visited this place...
One of the best chineese noodles
Stylish staffs and friendly..
Very valuable price and valuable portion of food....
👍👍👍👍👍
This places never tires me.. have been visiting this place from my childhood.. its located very much close to my place..
When ever I crave for an indian Chinese food.. I just walk in this place..
The place is very well maintained.. the staffs are friendly. Though the place looks small its looks terrific...
The ambience of the place is not that great but its cleanly maintained and looks very neat and tidy..
I have tried almost all the food in the menu!! My all time favourite is Drums of heaven, prawn noodles and manchow soup!!
Great place to have an amazing indian chinese food!!
I have visited this place like so many times. First of all service is good. Very friendly staff. The ambience can be improved. It is a small and a nice place. I must have tried everything on their Menu. As usual they have amazing drums of heaven, chicken monos and everything is so good. This time I tried something new (i.e crackling spinach babycorn) and well it's was so delicious. Ian in love with it. They also have amazing rice flat noodles. I would prefer to go and have food there than a take away. It's a peaceful place and we get good food. I love this place
Do you also have those days when you're craving some nice Indian Chinese food but can't be bothered to dress up really well and go someplace fancy? Well I do and this is my favorite place for those type of days.
The vegetarian manchow soup is super delicious.
The steamed wantons are soothing and passably tasty. Not the best but they'll do.
The veg chowmein is not oily, very light and flavorful.
Chinese craving fixed without feeling sick and bloated. It's dim and quiet and very relaxing. Comfort food at its best.
I will definitely be back for more.
Good food. Great service! A must try. Dragon rolls and veg ball in Schzuwan sauce was really tasty.
All their noodles are inferring and have a fresh new taste.
Certainly worth a visit!
Nice and cozy place. Been here once, rest of the times we preferred take aways.
Food - 8/10
Cost - Fairly decent at about 200~ for a starter
Their Starters are really nice, mild spice, saucey and flavour packed. I generally ask the staff what they would recommend, and it never goes wrong. I can assure you on that.
Their Chicken Manchow soup is always nice, I think only once the consistency was slightly different, but still flavourful.
I like their Schzewan Fried Rice, usually when you go for fried rice, its oily or leaves that oily layer over your plate. No, not this one, its nicely flavoured, low on the oil.
Cant recall what noodles we had, nonetheless, nothing we ordered disappointed us, I think thats what we all look for in a restaurant.
Absolute brilliant value for money. Great quantity and fantastic taste for the category they are in. Everything is good, especially chicken with crackling spinach is awesome
Awesome Chinese food ! Every dish tasted different and close to perfect !
A perfect place for Indo Chinese Food . I am looking forward to gulping more and more!! Yummmm!
The place serves excellent Chinese food but for reasons not known the place is always deserted during lunch hours ..had been here couple of times..
The staff are very friendly, service is quick
Tried chicken schezwan chicken noodles and chicken starter which were too good..
Meal for 2 costs Rs 650-700/- and is worth it.
Parking not available
It's the usual Chinese place with the usual menu to go with and nothing fancy about this place. It falls into those restaurant category where you dont mind visiting couple of times a month to beat the boredom or lazyness at home ;) It's extremely pocket friendly and very filling. Have tried almost all veg dishes and all are decent
For all the Chinese taste buds. This is a nearest go to place if u wanna grab some Chinese dishes. Decent place, decent pricing.Good staff. They could add a brand appeal to their restaurants.
Lovely Chinese eatery.. One of the best Chung Wah joints across the city in terms of food and service.. The ambience is average.. We ordered chicken in black bean sauce, chicken in crackling spinach, paneer sticks, veg won tons, Malaysian noodles, and Shanghai rice.. The food was brilliant.. The chicken was tender and well cooked in pepper dark sauce..it was bit spicy but went well with Shanghai rice.. The chicken with spinach is a great starter and it's must eat here!! The paneer sticks here is the best starter for the veggies..absolutely an unique dish!! Must try!! Overall it's a great joint for Chinese and it's reasonable.. Go for it ppl!!
This place has better menu options than the other Chung Wahs around. Their Butter Pepper Prawn on the main course is a must try for all prawn lovers.
Located in Vyalikaval, this is a part of the Famous Chung Wah Chain of Chinese Restaurants in Bangalore. The place is located on the Main Road & is easy to locate. It is a Rooftop Restaurant, but you won't be able to get the Open Sky Dining Experience here, as it is completely covered. We visited this place on a Saturday Night. There was not much rush & we were able to get a table easily.
The food served was good both in terms of Taste & Quality. Won't say Authentic Chinese but Chinese Cuisine's with an Indian taste Added to it. We ordered Veg-Chowmein along with Chicken Nam Prik Phao. The portion served was good & was sufficient for two. The Chowmein was properly cooked along with generous portion of Vegetables. Chicken Nam Prik Phao was spicy & to our liking.
The Ambience is good with use of some Chinese Style Decor. The lighting was dim, which Complemented the Ambience & Decor. This place is ideal for going with Family & Friends.
The service was quick & we didn't have to wait much for our food. The staff was Courteous & Efficient, with someone always available to assist you.
Overall a Descent Chinese Place in Vyalikaval & would recommend to anyone looking for a Casual Dining Experience.

One of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Bangalore . Always have been a fan of the Indian version of Chinese . The schezuwan fried rice and veg balls in garlic sauce will always not disappoint . Not to forget the hot n sour soup and the fuyong . The chicken lollipop is also very good . The cost is also not very high . Overall a valuable Chinese outlet
Was craving sweet corn soup so decided to goto an authentic Chinese restaurant.
Hunt began.Decided to give this place a try.
Oh boy! Finally found the tasty soup.
Craving satisfied.
But,as i write this review I want to go back for some more〰😉🍝🍵🍴🍽
Bad quality and bad taste...................nowhere even close to good chinese. I had got it home delivered...the gravy item was too oily and chicken was bad quality and was smelling. never gonna try it again!
We visited the place along with family,to the malleshwaram branch, ambiance inside and outside is the average. We tried the thin chinese noodles which was good. its good for visit only once
We went to the malleshwaram branch, ambiance inside and outside is the average. Food and ambiance was average. Enjoyed the soup, dragon rolls and the crispy noodles. Though on a weekend, we had a nice relaxed lunch.
Went to this Chung Wah branch for lunch today. Felt its cheaper than Kammanhalli branch and the food is better. Though the ambience is not that appealing and interiors looked old and not so well maintained, food was good. Schezwan noodles was good as always. Tried Prawn in Hunan Sauce which was tasty as well. We were planning to take two sides but the courteous waiter informed us that one side is enough for three, and he was right. The Manchow soup also tasted good. But their Hand wash area is very bad as its just outside the kitchen, some care for that is necessary from management.
This branch is closer to where I live therefore it has become my go-to Chinese restaurant. I end up mostly ordering the same things on the menu which is Hunan Chicken, Drums of Heaven or Crispy Chicken with crackling spinach because they're just so yum. And then for the main course there is the Schezwan Chicken Noodles or Malaysian Noodles. The place is spacious and the prices are affordable. Visit if in the vicinity.
It is quite decent place to hangout. The food is very delicious with large quantity main course especially noodles. The waiters are quite friendly and ready to help. According to me the starters are bit overpriced keeping the quantity in mind, but the maincourse is very much affordable and the quantity offered is also good enough. The only thing it lags is ambience n I don't know y wouldn't they turn on the A/C in afternoon when it is quite hot outside
Im so glad I could visit this small lil restaurant during my trip. Their chicken dishes were absolutely yummy and mouth watering. Their noodles though were a bit weird. They had way too much chilli in them and tasted rubbery.
I really wish I could have visited them again, but alas, will surely do next time.

This is my pig out spot when I am craving for some Indian Chinese. I must say at the outset that the food served here is remarkably good at times and very average on some occasions. They lack in consistency.
The ambience is quite cosy with the usual dim lights which are ubiquitous in all the Chung Wah's of Bangalore. There is a balcony section (which is the smoking section) and the indoor section. The service is extremely quick and the waiters are there when you need them. They do home delivery as well, to the near by areas. They are pretty efficient and on time with the home deliveries as well. Pretty affordable cost wise too.
The star for me at this place is the Paneer Sticks. Batter fried Paneer chunks which are skewed using a tooth pick with a particular vegetable and then stir fried in some of their sauces, spring onions and garlic. It satisfies that craving for Indian Chinese immensely. The soups are decent and the momos are bordering on below average. You could avoid them and stick to the fried starters. Their Lefu Noodles and Lefu Rice are exceptional. Their Triple Schezwan fried rice is one of my go to preparations.
Chung wah is a place where I go to, to have the best leafu salad! Chinese food cooked in olive oil is very tasty! Take away or home delivery the food is fresh! The staff is co-operative in explaining the contents of the food! (The name of dishes r unique n hard to pronounce)
A very cozy restaurant! Chung Wah offers good chinese food for good price! Have been here a couple of times and have come out satisfied all the while! The service is very friendly and the ambience is perfect to hang out with friends! Most of the items on the menu are delicious! The starters, noodles amd rice are delicious! Would definitely recommed this place if you are a chinese freak!

Excellent Chinese Cuisines, warm and welcoming ambiance and outstanding hospitality. Chung Wah in Malleshwaram will always be special to me as I have spent several evenings with my friends there during my college days. The juicy drums of heaven and Golden fried baby corn is a must try!
Very decent place, generally you will get a table without prior reservation. I have never been disappointed with any dish here, every dish has its own charisma. If you do visit this place, try Chang-mai chicken dry, it's not there on the menu and it may take them some time to prepare, but it's worth the wait.
OK first of all I'd like to start off with a question. Why is the overall rating just 3.5? It is almost a weekly tradition to order dinner from Chang wah. The home delivery is awesome. The quantity of the portions are just great, especially for eaters like me and my brother. It is again the chilli mushroom dry starter that we order. How great is that! Its the best I've had. The lifu noodles, chilli garlic noodles, lifu rice, schezhwan rice, all great. For the first 10 orders this was what I used to have:
Chilli mushroom starter
Lifu rice
Chilli garlic noodles
Chilli panneer gravy.
Then came the time for some changes. So I started ordering the chop suey. The dragon, Chinese and american chop suey's are just awesome. Its always best with crispy noodles. The Cantonese noodles again... Yummy. The veg balls in garlic sauce is a delightful main for the noodles too. The gobi Manchurian gravy is great but I don't prefer it as a dish. The latest order was different. I wanted to try a different starter. We had been ordering only chilli mushroom and chilli panneer. So I ordered spring rolls. Omg. The dipping sauce with the crispy rolls. What more can I want.
I also happened to meet a friend of mine and decided to go there on the fly. The ambience is also nice. I like dingy lighting. So set for me.
I did not give a 5 to this place because of an incident.
Once I ordered chilli panneer gravy as a part of a home delivery. We finished the starter and served the noodles. Now when I opened the main course and dipped a ladle into the container, I saw that the panneer was not in fact panneer but prawn. I know most of you may think its good. But for a person from a vegetarian family, its not acceptable to get meat home. Hence this rating.
Chung wah is definitely the best Chinese place at least in Malleswaram. It is definitely better than Beijing bites or Chung's. So I definitely recommend this place.

Love the food and ideal for home delivery. Chicken wonton soup and crackling spinach babycorn are highly recommended.
Decor has deteriorated a bit though, and the place feels dusty. My table also had cracked salt shakers held together by cellotape. However, the staff and service are excellent and courteous.
This is one Chinese restaurant I love. It offers great quantities and total value for your meal. Try the crispy threaded vegetables or the humble wonton. No dish will leave you disappointed. Coriander soup is highly recommended. Great welcoming staff and well located this is one meal you would love to revisit.
Tried this place out of the blue. Was looking for some thing different from MLC. Loved the food..I would say the food is at par with MLC and the best part is that is a lot cheaper. Have done only home delivery..never been to the place. I have been speading the word around and everyone I have recommended he place to seems to LOVE it.
need to be here and taste chicken lollypop and sip of hot chicken soup.try to select a seat on the opper portico you would love it
Just loved this place. One of the best Chinese food ever tasted in Bangalore! Visited this place on a sunday afternoon and the food just made our day! The decor is nice, with chinese lamps, and a nice, airy open area to sit too. Indoor seating is also available. The paneer chilli was out of the world. The soft pieces of paneer were batter fried and served with a chinese sauce. This was definately the "Star Dish". It was well cooked and really yummy, while paneer pieces stayed soft inside a crispy coating. The chicken drumsticks were also good. It had the perfect amount of spice and was an absolute delight for us. For main course we had a Tofu gravy dish (forgot the name), mangolian chicken, szechwan fried rice, and the thin noodles.
The tofu gravy dish was not spicy but was delicious and went well with the noodles. The chicken mangolian was spicy and I just enjoyed it! The szechwan fried rice was brilliant too!
I have visited a number of Chung Wah's in Bangalore, and I must definetely say that this is the BEST ONE! The Food is out-of-the-world good, the service is excellent, and the decor is inviting. What more can one ask for when DIning-out!
Will visit again and again!
Use to be my regular dinner venue once upon a time , they serve delicious Chinese , the prawns are a risky option , but the lamb and chicken that they serve here is just fantastic!
Try the chicken koithio ( Malaysian noodles ) , end your meal with honey fried noodles and vanilla ice cream here!
Excellent food , quick service , definitely one of the best Chinese outlet chains in Bangalore!
Hi! I go there pretty often n its a gr8 hangout!
Awesome chinese accomponied wit a sepertate smoking zone!
Service is fas n responsive & say again gr8 food
Good Chinese food!! the meat is fresh here and the ambience is good too. The owner and the manager are very friendly and prompt. overall a good and reasonable place to hangout.
A very good place for delicious Chinese food. The ambiance is nice, very old school Chinese restaurant vibes but just a bit dark. The soup was very nice to start with and also the chicken starter was tasty. For mains the dragon chopsuey and the fried rice were very good. Portion size is good and pricing is decent too for the quality. Service was prompt and attentive. Menu is quite elaborate.

Surprisingly tasty food, most unlike the usual 'Indian Chinese' fare that such restaurants serve. The noodles in butter and garlic was excellent. A little low on ambience, but the food was tasty. That's all that counts. My cousin who is a long time resident of Malleshwaram tells me that Chung Wah is popular with many discriminating diners.

This is one restaurant that has withstood the test of time. Over the years I have tried so many different places, some better some not so much; but the food here is consistently good. This is one big factor that works well for the restaurant- I know what I like here and when I order that dish it tastes exactly like I want it to.
I have been there a few times but mostly the order is for delivery when the family is in mood for something different at home ; service is quick and portions are quite generous. Been there too a few times and I like the typical oriental theme (age shows but not really complaining). Overall a typical neighbourhood Chinese restaurant that serves good dependable food.
Chungwah has managed to keep up.the quality. One of the few places I have been visiting since the 1990s. Must try their hot and sour soup and dragon chopsey
One best Chinese restaurant and good food and good ambiance
Ordered manchow veg soup...... Schezwan fried rice with kung pao veg.।।।।। The best chinese I had in Bangalore in a long time.।।।।a bit high sided price but worth it I guess.।...Need to check on the vibe of the place a bit rest is all awesome.।।।।।।। Loved this place will be visiting again.।।
Very nice place. Nice spot for a quiet lunch. Food is tasty and comes hot to the table.
The taste is really good, one of the best hotels for Chinese food.
Super place , super food, great ambiance, good service, separate smoking zone.
A decent place for Chinese food lovers with generous portions of food especially chowmein and Rice.. Leefu noodles is must try.. and they make it extra spicy on request..
