I was a regular guest at lunch when my office was open, I tried once on a whim and got hooked on the authentic taste and history of the place. A must try for all who crave punjabi cuisine.
I have been eat Treat food from last 20 years or so. They could manage consistency for 25+ years. Must try if you have not tried yet.
Fast service. Relaxing ambience. Old Bollywood songs. Proper Punjabi North Indian food. Prices are quite high. Please be back on Zomato Gold
The food here is great if someone is looking for north Indian cuisine.....service is quite fast....dal makhni was really great and the paneer was also nice...the ambience was not that good and the place is underground to be careful to find it...... service and food are really good...moreover with Zomato gold its cost effective...... looking forward to visit again
This place is one of my favorites in Bangalore.
Pure Bollywood evergreen songs from old times and in a very soothing volume. Can enjoy with family and friends.
Food is awesome!!
Both the menus veg & non-veg are filled with the surprises of the nostalgic taste which is very hard to get easily in Bangalore.
Awesome Food. Friendly staff. Quick service.
Nice place, good ambience, food is tasty, reasonable price, good variety of options in Veg food. Must visit once here............theme of Resturant based on old Bollywood style which is also unique
One among the best North Indian food Resturant in Bangalore especially Shahi paneer, butter chicken and tandoor items. Hygienic, courteous staff is a value add. Pricing can definitely be better !!
Treat is definitely a treat to your culinary senses.
We tried the Butter chicken, Palak paneer and Dal makni. The Butter chicken is to die for and the Palak paneer dish redefined Palak paneer for me, the consistency is just right and the paneer is so soft, literally melts in your mouth !
Even the dal makni was very good.
Overall a very good experience, music and service wise too.
Must visit for real good North Indian meal.
Probably one of the better North Indian food joints in Bangalore. Have been going there for more than 12 years and the food has been consistent. Try the Tandoori Chicken and Buttter Chicken.
I've been here twice. It's a small little restaurant, nothing fancy.
We ordered 2 combos the first time we went here. The food is good. The dal makhani is to die for. The quantities were decent but the dal or sabji could have come in a slightly larger quantity in the combo.
We have also ordered a la carte here and I think that the quantities of the food served here is very disproportionate. The rice and dal have mismatching quantities (and by a large margin).
The servers were a little mean and forced us to change our order(stuffed tandoori aalu) because it would take 15 minutes to prepare.
Treat is definitely my go to place for North Indian food.
Its is a small place recommended by a colleague for north indian food. The minimalist design , off white and coffee brown theme may be something subjected to taste. I love it. Very good north indian food and as per a Punjabi friend of mine, they make the best dal tadka!
I have ordered ghost biryani and mutton seekh kebab, the kebab was really amazing but felt low on quantity and the biryani tasted good, as it was a punjabi style biryani its less spicy
5/5 for sure!
Such a lovely place with old Bollywood theme. The staff was really very attentive and nice. Food was great too. Their raada chicken is to die for! Over all, loved it!
Really nice food at all times that I've been here. The only concern is since last few times whenver we try to order Bread Basket they always tell that it is unavailable. Apart from that, I like the food here a lot specially kadhai paneer and dal tadka.
Food is always good. I have been here for 2-3 times. I like this place. No need to wait for long time and food quality and quantity both good.
If you are looking for North Indian food then this place is for you.
I have been to this place many times and they have never disappointed my taste buds.
Food- 4.5/5
Ambience- 3/5
Service- 4/5
Truly Indian....
A keen indian cuisine food tastes perfect with the cool ambience. Truly it was treat for guests...
Tasted kalmi kebab was perfectly cooked seasoned well, the sides like pickled onions desi chilli pickle and the fresh mint chutney goes well with all the foods....
Followed by butter chicken, well i could say the best butter chicken i had in bangalore so far.... Creamy and Yummy...
And the bread was okayish since sides of the breads was under done...
Finally the punjabi lassi was not tasted like authentic punjabi lassi, it was hardly beatened...
After lassi i got my bill without asking for it...
Great food, need little consistency to deliver the treat...
Over all i strongly recommend this Treat for true indian cuisine lovers...

Good quality food and old songs will make your mood.
Overall it was a good experience at best price.
One must visit this place if you are not very fond of loud places.
Always in for a Treat!
Definitely recommend the malai kofta. They have excellent Indian food and I’ve never had a bad experience in all the times I’ve been there.
Yummy place for North Indian food lovers. Device is very much appreciated and music too. We order wheat naan with mutter mushroom masala and dal tadka d quantity was too good for two ppl. And food was way to delicious. I would rather say I can bet each dish of it would be good to try onn ❤️
It's a cozy, clean place with good food. Although options are less, the quality and taste of items is excellent. Price is a bit high. Try Mutton for sure.
Awesome food. Warm welcome. Lovely staff. Nice cozy place. Roti's n curries are amazing. Must try all varieties of kebabs. Tasty n yummy. Biryani 's are jus OK. value for money. .
Good restaurant to have north indian cuisine. Specially Chicken Tandoori and Afghani. too underrated restaurant on zomato. Service is good too
Ambience 2/5
Service 4/5
Food 3/5
Pocket friendly but nothing extraordinary. The place is really small, barebones. Food quantity was good, average quality.
I guess this is a long due review. Have been going to Treat since the year 2000. What has changed in all these years is staff and the interiors to an extent. The service and the quality of the food has remained consistent all throughout. Difficult to experience such a consistency on variety or all of the dishes through this long period in my view is really commendable. They also serve a green chilli pickle which is a must have with your food. Times when I get the food delivered, the first thing I look for is the green chilli pickle.
Should one fancy North Indian cuisine, this place warrants a visit and is true value for money.

Quick tip:- for anyone working lunch combo menu is reasonable and filling, boneless gravies are always better here. If you want anything spicy mention beforehand because most of the dishes are pretty low on spice levels.
Considering the reputation they had many years ago after the renovation and everything the first time after the new decor came into place, we had a bad experience but as time passed we gave it a try recently ,had their tangdi kabab it was just like the old days succulent and yumm.. then we had the butter naan and butter chicken.. trust me it’s one of the best in Bangalore and I fell in love with butter chicken at this place in Bangalore.. it’s not too heavy on the cream and oil like the other places but done perfect with soft pieces done well.. the naan is good as usual.. coming to the other places in Bangalore serving North Indian food for namesake this place is a must try.. the value for money is justified and the combos that they have I must try will be good for sure considering I took a look at the portion size and looks same as a la carte dishes quality wise..the staff could be a little more welcoming though..
We had ordered platters, Tandoor items and soup it was very tasteful (hot and spicy) over all Food was great, Nice service... Good ambience.
Little gem of a place . Been going here since years and it’s always a treat to be here ! All time favourite is paneer butter masala and Kadai chicken . North Indian food lovers shouldn’t miss out on this one. Must visit !
Decent North Indian food. My only grouse would be their consistency (or the lack of it). Sometimes the food is phenomenal, and sometimes not so much.
Fantastic food perfect Punjabhi khana panner is the best snack main course falling short of words to praise the food one word is my favourite fantabulous excellent

Easily one of the best places to eat North Indian in and around Indiranagar. They have a many options, the food is sumptuous, the service is good. They could work a little on the place though. The AC had some issues and the TV wasn't working.
They also have Zomato Gold and that's a big plus.
The restaurant is perfect for having great North Indian food..The ambience is peaceful and service is very good. The starters are tasty and baingan bharta and kofta are must try dishes

Folks working around Indiranagar 80 Ft road know what a Treat this place really is. I have yet to find another restaurant in Bangalore that doles out such delicious, affordable Non vegetarian North Indian food. If you do drop by, don't be put off by the establishment being small or being literally underground. It's a treasure waiting to be unearthed. I highly recommend the Rada Mutton and the Combo meals. The eye watering spicy food will definitely make you crave for the sweets in their menu, but sadly, this is the only weakness of the establishment. Go with friends and gorge on food. You'll not regret the bill.
Went for lunch to Treat with friends, and boy were we in for a real Treat!
What we tried:
Murgh Biryani (Chicken Biryani)
Gosht Biryani (Mutton Biryani)
Butter Chicken
Butter Naan
While the Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani were good, the real star of the meal was the Butter Chicken. It is a definite must-try dish when you dine at Treat.
P.S - Zomato Gold users get 1+1 on food. Enjoy!
Amazing food and ambience. Cool environment and some beautiful old songs playing in background, which refreshes mind and adds love in the air.
I would especially like to mention about Vishnu who has a great smile on his face and superb in hospitality which makes you feel special at the place.
A decent place for lunch.. the biriyani tasted well.. staffs were very friendly.. would visit again. They also accept Zomato gold..
Please upload the latest menu in Zomato.
Small & cozy place in 80ft road main road, but comfortable sitting with decent Ambience... Had gone there with a gold membership... Good Biryani & mutton starters....
Service was good too....
If you are craving for good North Indian food in Indiranagar area, without burning a hole in your pocket then treat is the right place to be. ❤
Visited this place for dinner on a weekday around 9. The place was relatively empty so getting a table wasn't an issue. Interiors were decent...not supremely impressive or bad. I, however, would like to mention the interesting movie posters that were there in one of the walls of the restaurant. That's really cool. Coming to the food...we had ordered Chicken Malai tikka kebab, butter chicken and roti basket. Malia tikka was quite good almost as good as the authentic ones you get up north. The butter chicken was tangy from what one of used to having but I'm ready to look past that because it was fresh at least. The roti basket was, however, a great deal. You get an assortment of 10 types of rotis. It was extremely filling for two people and we almost had to waste a little food (much to my disappointment ) as we genuinely had no place left in our tummies. The staff was extremely nice. Very prompt. Thumbs up on the service. 😁
Went there on a Sunday afternoon around 2-2.15 PM. Came to know that restaurant closes at 3 PM. So around 2.45 they were asking for last orders. This restaurant comes under zomato gold and is situated in basement floor.
Food - We ordered Daal Makhani and Paneer Tikka Masala along with their different type of rotis. Both curries were really good with perfect texture and taste. Among different type of breads, I liked Lal Mirchi roti and Aizwan roti.
Ambience - It is ordinary. The tables are made of marble and seating comprises of both sofas and chairs. It's a really small place and could not accommodate much people. When we went, apart from us, 2 more tables were occupied only.
Service - I guess this is the space where they need to improve. There were only 2 waiters and they were hustling between tables to serve the orders. If they are charging 10 percent as a service charge , this is not acceptable at all.
Overall, food made the visit worth it. It finally costed us 750 bucks after using 1 zomato gold membership.
I always use to go dis place whenever i go to indranagar and order mutton rogan gosh and keema mutton and stuff kulcha. Guys go and taste d food it is awesome to go der and satisfy ur taste buds.
Food is good but especially Dal👍👍👍👍
First of all the place is situated in the basement and it’s not really that hard to find. A small but comfortable place. Nice wall decors. Coming to the food, they were really awesome. We had Makki di roti, butter kulcha, laccha paratha(Ajwain), chicken soup, afghani tangdi kebab and butter chicken masala. Of all these only only the makki di roti was little hard. Rest all were really awesome. The chickens were really soft and tender. A good food place. I would’ve given 5 stars if the ambience was more good.
The Vegeterian food was really good. This place is very generous when it comes to quantity. Staff was polite. This place is economical as well.
Good North Indian food. Their butter chicken and rotis are good.
The service is usually a tad bit slow. It could be hard to locate the restaurant since it is kind of in a basement; and parking is not available.

Not crowded like other places, so you can really enjoy your talk or family time. Nice food and place looks very good like old European small restorant.
Nthn to do with ambience as it a small cozy place . The staff members are a bit lathargic is what I feel. Can be more professional !! Coming to the food . Excellent . No doubt about the taste . Good quality also !! But the quantity is really less . But all in all good experience !!

Food is good. Property managed properly. Service is also good. Good for friends get together. Staff well trained and good. Available for take away as well.
One of the few good North Indian preparations in town. Probably the best butter chicken. Must try their aaloo gobhi patiala wali, it’s an eccentric taste. Although this Sunday the preparation wasn’t up to the mark, I’ve had better before. Do take your own zomato gold ID as they are particular about that. Even if I didn’t have gold, I would still prefer this place over any other North Indian restaurant in indiranagar. Must visit.
Amazing place! Tasty food. Pocket friendly. Polite waiters. Well located. Could be advertised a bit more. Not many know of this place. Only way to find it is by passing by the place.
Proper North Indian food and rotis here, the ambiance is nice, bright, and comfy.
Loved the food here, the portions are good enough. Price is affordable.
Been here in the afternoon on weekday do didn't get much roush, but I think this place would get crowded in evening.
Basement location so no view however.
Staff and Food is nice here, better to ask waiter for suggestions and get the dish modified as per our preference
Have visited this place couple of times. Amazing Punjabi food specially the tikkas are great and the gravies are delicious and light not too oily. Great place if you are looking for a simple punjabi food.
The butter chicken was surprisingly on point
A great restaurant. they play soft music (Hindi). food is utterly delicious. staff is polite and professional. You will love it. A good place to have good food. Oops, I should say a place to have best food.
been wid a office team for lunch good place ..loved all the dishes we ordered ..loved raada chicken n bunna chicken ..amazing taste it has ..pocket friendly
Excellent food. Superb quality across all dishes including the beverages.
This is fine blend of restaurant and home based food. That balance helped me appreciate the food a lot.
It's nice when the restaurant looks out for the quality of food and the health of the customer. (No colouring, excess oil etc)
Highly recommended and will definitely be my go to place for North Indian/Punjabi or Mughlai cuisine.
Excellent Punjabi Food. The first was so good that i went once again in the same week for a take away. Ordered on phone and picked up. Food was ready and packed when we reached.. excellent Chicken Kalimirch Tikka, Paneer Kalimirch Tikka, Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Lacha Paratha which we ordered in first round and then Butter Chicken, Tandoori chicken, Paneer Butter Masala, Malai Paneer Tikka and Egg Biriyani. All dishes were excellent. Loved the Kalimirch Tikkas and Saag Paneer the most. The Lacha Paratha also was very good and had a very natural taste of good quality flour. Waiting to go back again. Dining in area was very neat and inviting though we rushed through for the takeaway. The staff was very pleasing and helpful. Excellent packing as well.
Visited again on 28 Aug 2022
Had another awesome dine-in experience at Treat. Excellent North Indian food. Just love the service and the food quality. The Saag Paneer, Chicken Bhuna, Tomato Basil Soup, Murg Yakhini, Makkai Tikki, Butter Chicken and Railway Mutton Curry were really good. We enjoyed the food. Infact we had a fully active group ordering many series of food and each of the time food came on time and was yummy. The owners where very helpful and did guide me on where to park car and took genuine interest by helping me out with ordering food as well. Looking forward to enjoying the awesome food and Hospitality again. It's a gem in Indiranagar.
The Treat.. with over 25 years of experience in Punjabi food. The food is authentic Punjabi and the butter chicken is known for here. We tried the bhuna chicken which was good.I felt the tandoori chicken was a tad dry though. The matri with achar will remind you of Punjab.
Had the most amazing dinner with friends here. The Christmas decorations added a festive touch to the cozy atmosphere.
Starters like the galouti kebab and paneer tikka were a delight—I could have them every day. Khameeri roti and pudina paratha were the perfect companions to the outstanding butter chicken and mind-blowing dal makhni. Wrapped up the feast with the tastiest gajar ka halwa. Everything we had, including the service, deserves a 100/10 rating. Definitely planning to visit more often!
For almost 3 decades, Treat has been my preferred place for butter chicken in Bangalore. Consistently good, this restaurant has stood the test of time. Now in a nice new location, it's just that little bit closer to home for me. Also highly recommend thr mutton burra kabab. Melts in the mouth. Also, good value for money, considering the top notch quality!
Added the photo of the Burrah Kabab i dined on last night. Simply delicious. Top quality mutton, juicy, tender. Beautiful balance on the spice and just enough charring and smoky notes. The crunchy onions and a squeeze of lime juice brings it all together nicely.
For some authentic Punjabi food there's no place better. The dal makhni is exquisite and the saag to die for. Consistent and a place with a legacy, it hits the perfect spot.
Wonderful establishment. Restaurant has been in business for over 25 years, family business. owner’s son took our order and accommodated my food allergy (gluten)/Celiac by explaining which foods were safe to eat. Everything tasted really good - Curry: dal makhanwali and butter chicken; and mattar pullao. Decor of the restaurant gave desert vibes with modern flare of textures and patterns. Good meal. Good atmosphere. Good service. Would recommend!
A near authentic Punjabi indulgence...... The owner is a purist in his approach towards whatever he dishes out.
I don’t remember if I ever had a butter chicken that had meat chunks out of tandoori oven. I rate the butter chicken I had here a notch above the one I had in Pal Dhaba, Chandigarh.
Right from having mathri ,appetiser, to the Aloo bharwa to the Aam panna; my taste buds could easily make out the pleasure of tasting something that’s made using finest of the ingredients. Even the pickles and onions they serve have been given utmost attention to ensure no stone is unturned in their whole process — from procuring ingredients to serving the customer.
A treat .. A feast …Enjoyed every morsel .. Appreciate the owner sharing good info , and personally serving too…
Loved the soup , starters, main course and dessert ..
Amazing food! The daal and butter chicken was fabulous. The service is also great
Always a delight to visit Treat. The food is amazing, the service is fantastic. Especially their lasooni chicken, butter garlic naan, the rabdi, the kulfi (which they aren’t serving off late), the jamoons are just delicious !! Have been regularly visiting them for more than a decade and they haven’t changed a bit in taste and hospitality !!
Must try if you are north indian food lover. Their veg food is amazing and hygienic.
5 star is very less to describe how amazing the food and service is. Some of the best north indian in the whole of Bangalore. Love it!!!
I love food from treat.
I always search for nearest treat restaurant in the city and never miss a dinner or lunch there.
My favorite treat branch is in whitefield Bangalore.
This was around 9 kms from my home so we went here for dinner.
I felt very bad as there was only us having dinner.
The food quality was very good (Still whitefield branch is at no 1).
Behavior of staff members are very good.
As always the pricing of Treat is a bit higher than that of the other restaurants nearby. That may be case of less people inside.
Anyways, I loved it.
Thank you
We really like the galloti kabab, butter chicken and chilly garlic naan. This place is a bit expensive. The taste is good.
