A couple of sweets & chaats tried out. No disappointments. The quality is good in the area in comparison to other outlets outta here for quick bites. The ambience is quite average.
A small vendor in Neeladri Nagar, offering some great sweets and breakfast options. We have been ordering rasmalai and gulab jamuns from here for a long time now. Rasmalai is really nice, soft and perfectly sweet and so are the gulab jamuns, just that they don’t serve it steaming hot. We have tried their cholle bhature as well and have to say they were pretty decent and were fulfilling as well. Hoping to try out aloo poori soon. Prices are quite decent as well and so is the service. I recommend giving it a try once a while, especially to all the bachelors out there.
A good place for chats. I've tried the aloo tikki chat, aloo chat and the samosa chat! I like the aloo chat here. Other two were just okay. I also had sweet lime soda, which was good in taste. Overall, an okayish place to try out some chats once in a while.
A good place for chaats. We usually visit this place for raj katori or katori chaat or lacka tokri (I'm not sure about the name). All of them are good and tasty. The quantity is also good.
Another underated eatery in Neeladri Nagar. Sandesh is an small chaat + snacks+ sweet stall located on the Neeladri main road. Starting with chaats first; we tried Raj Kachori and Samosa chaat. Priced Rs. 50 and 40 respectively. Both super tasty and reminds of your best chaat experience. Believe me, it really tastes good than many restaurants of South Bangalore who claim selling North Indian chaat. Next was Rasgulla and Motichur ladoo- very fresh and as perfect as it could be. As per few reviews the sweets are overpriced - but I beg to differ; obviously you cannot compare Rasgulla prices of Kolkata to Bangalore however looking at the general sweet prices in Bangalore and the quality + serving size Sandesh is damn good. They stock good variety as well.
Very satisfied with the food. Interiors is not very great become a bit crowded as well. But staffs are very quick and is managed efficiently.
A perfect place for grabbing a mouth-watering chat ! We normally take Raj Kachori, Dhabeli and Malai sandwich (Well, not all three together :) )
The ambiance is okay for a chat center. They are great @ chats and greater @ sweets like Rasmalai / Rasogolla etc.
The idli in the breakfast menu in the morning is a big no-no ... (If you are a south indian, you won't like the idli for sure). Poori is good. Overall, a good food joint, that you can count on, which gives good value for the money you pay.
Are you craving some really nice chaat? I am a delhite and there are day when I miss Tikkis and Aaloo Chaat so much, I can't sleep well. I stumbled upon this sweet shop on my way back from work one day and to my surprise my chaat craving nightmare was over.
The aaloo chaat is not like the one we get in delhi with crispy, spicy potatos but I really dig their version too. It is bundle of delightful flavors with tangy chutneys, onion, tomato and fresh coriander covering the potatoes. The Pav Bhaji comes with the curry poured over the pav and topped with chopped onion and the flavors are bang on - spicy, tangy, lip smacking. You should also try the samosa chat and tikki chat which are also good options.
One of the best Rosogulla's in the world. The sponge, the softness, the sweetness - Just perfect!
As the name suggests, its meant for Bengali sweets and dishes. Please dont even bother trying Snacks esp the likes of Pav Bhaji and Chole Bhatura. Made a mockery of the 2 dishes. Rating high only because I am simply in love with their Rosogullas!!!!
Good place to go if you are in electronic city, good snacks, sweets, chaats, samosa.
visited this place multiple times but was never dissapointed whatever ordered
I like this small outlet for snacks, charts, sweets and faluda. Yes the deserts are decent but more importantly the chat/samosam sweets are really nice for a quick evening snacks or for festivals. :)
A small place with delicious snacks! I usually visit this place with my colleagues as this is near to my office.
All the chaats they serve here is very hygienic and the taste is just yum!
My favorites are Lachha tokri and Mumbai special gudbud.
The delicious lachha tokri has all the ingredients put to the right amount to make it taste like heaven!
And the Mumbai special gudbud has different flavours of ice cream topped with khuskhus and tutti fruity which is a perfect blend!
They have the best chat around and liked them. They are bit pricy and there sweets are pretty decent . Good place to chat and eat.
Snacks are awesome.....raj kachori and basket chat.... crispy and correct amount of sweet and spices...rasmalai is good.
Morning breakfast is good ...can be better....
"Sandesh" by the name leaves a 'sweet' impression for foodies like me..
Absolute heaven for sweet-lovers.. U get a wide range of sweet varieties that contains some bengali delicacies such as Malai bhog, Suraj Bhog along with some north- india dishes such as sonpapri, gajar ka halwa..
Nice place to hangout for evening snacks..
Apart from sweets, they serve chats, South dishes such as dosa, idli, uttapam..
Cost is little bit on the higher side, but quality is overall good.
Must visit.. :-)
Good varieties of sweets and chats............................................................................................................
Ordered chole bhatore, samosa chat and jalebi's. Both bhatore and jalebi's were tasty specially the hot jalebi's. However the chat was lacking some taste . Worth visting when hungry for some junky food's. Not bad.
Perfect shop for people with sweet tooth.Try out the motichoor laddoo here, it's yum!
Chaats and other savory items are average.
Service is good.
Service is really good. Cold coffee is really really good. It is 60 rupees. Earlier, they used to put hot choclate syrup inside the walls of the serving galss, that goes really well. Now, they have stopped it. But, still the cold coffee is good. You can get tamilnadu taste sambar in electronic city area(atleast some what close) If you go very late in the evening like around 9:30 types, sambar will look like rasam;). Other times, it will be good. My personal favorites are Mysore masala and Paper masala. Earlier they used to have kothu parata it will be good. Never try Kerala parota here, will not be good just because of the kuruma.
Motichoor laddu and malai chops are really good here. Quick service. You get decent samosa chat here, not a bad place if you feel like eating something light.
Love the Rasgulla chat in Sandesh
Now, if you compare the food you get here to actual North Indian food you will get in India- you are being stupid. Also, you won't get it.
1. This is not a South Indian establishment, so will not find tasty South Indian food here. You will find passable South Indian food here. If you expect good South Indian food. Again, don't be stupid.
2. The chaats are as good as you will get in Bangalore. Chaats in Bangalore have been adulterated with so much extra crap they put in it... C'mmon onions and tomatoes in Panipuri-puchka?
Therefore, if you are looking for comparatively good , clean North Indian chaat, this is good. Just don't expect something that will remind you of food back home.
3. They deliver quickly and the service is good.
4. Good chaat should be accompanied by fizzy soft drinks They just belong together. Even a soda machine would have done. But they only offer juice and dairy based drinks. I really hope they start offering soft drinks.
5. Chaat isn't something that people eat all the time, also, this is a completely vegetarian eatery, so if you do not see much crowd, don't worry. The food is good enough.
6. I just have one complain: the chhole that they make for chaats and chhole bhature, lacks flavour. They should improve that. Maybe they are trying to include Jain customers as well... but I highly doubt it.
7. The rates are way better than what you might have to pay elsewhere. I can order 2 dishes in Rs. 100. I don't understand why people would say it is expensive. Especially if you compare how expensive Bangalore is.
8. If you like the food to your taste- just ask them to pack the chutney's separately. They are very polite and will do it for you.
Is this the best place in electronic city for having chaats and snacks? I guess yes. One of the good things about Sandesh sweets you will notice is the hygiene and ambient lighting of the place. The food is really good and reasonably priced.
All d Attenders r very active with smiling faces and dishes r on time...Think Appraisal time..:) Medical Miracle..!!!

V had Poori and a Tiffin combo(Dosa, Sweet, 2 small Vada & Kara bath). Not so great but okay. Lil expensive either.. Ambience & Cust care r better than other competitors of dat range..Desserts n Falooda r good! :)
Been there 2-3 times, the must try here is the varieties of falooda.Appreciate the staff to do the necessary changes in flavors of ice creams in falooda as requested by us.
The dosas are also very good , if you are an south Indian foodie will surely like the masala dosa there.
The sweets are not very great when you compare with A2B or Ladoos ! I would suggest to buy sweets from A2B rater than buying here.
But I would recommend the restaurant for falooda lover's in ecity. Pls try the dry fruit falooda is just too good here.
My love for Sandesh is mainly for their chats. Good , decent , clean sitting area with yummy chats, shakes, snacks and deserts.
Have tried their dosa once, liked it too but their chats & jalebis & dhokla is what gets me to visit them the most.
Of the chats, love their chats with dahi the most. Jalebis are good & sinful. Service time is quick and staff pleasing. A pocket-friendly menu only adds to its charm.
Located further ahead of the Wipro campus and Concorde apartments is Sandesh. Nothing fancy about it just a place to have your regular chats, dosas, sweets. But what sets Sandesh apart is the great taste and quality. A wide collection of yummy chats made with cleanliness already makes it a better choice than the road side vendor.
They have a decent sitting area which is often flocked by the IT crowd nearby. Also they have a large collection of juices, sundaes and mithais.
Pricing is what will make you happy at the month end - as you can eat your heart out with just a couple of hundred bucks in your pocket.
