Love this place with so many offers they give on Zomato
Try this out
Ordered chicken lollipop, chicken fried rice and chicken manchurian for home delivery. Food delivered hot and fresh. Manchurian taste can be better. Fried rice and lollipop was incredibly tasty. Loved it. Affordable and delicious. Will order again.
I just love chienese so I visited this place and really like the food.. Really like chicken in oyster sauce..
Service is ok and good also ok but place is very niceš
Visited over the weekend. Superb place with good ambience. Food quality and quantity both are ample and staff is courteous too! Thanks Chung Wah!

Very good chinese food. I ordered a few times and went there once. Good ambience. Service takes a little time. Very polite staff. Good for a quiet dinner.
Great place to have Southeast Asian food that I *think* is authentic cause it was nothing like I have eaten in most other supposedly Chinese/Southeastern place. Had a soup which the waiter got wrong (I am not the sort of guy to care for such things when eating, unfortunately), the Korean chicken and sea food nasi goreng. The soup was pretty good and didnāt need any condiments. The Korean chicken was tenderly cooked and a new flavour to me which I liked it while the seafood nasi goreng wasnāt the best I have had but good and it didnāt have any prawn crisps served with it, an outrageous act that would be blasphemous in Indonesia for sure. Overall a good restaurant thatās VFM.
Chung wah has kept their word and standards. A reminiscence of the past this place is a absolute favourite of mine. Try the green Thai curry and the dragon chopsuey it is to die for.

Chi neese done right. The best quality of service I've ever come across in this town. Makes us feel right at home the second we walk through the restaurant doors.
Great restaurant, especially the food !! Singapore, Chinese, Thai cuisine. Absolutely yummy! Tired the Pork Ribs, so juicy and tender , cooked perfectly! Mei goreng (Singapore noodles) so yummy ! Good place to visit again
A descent restaurant in overall rating... Food was nice as we can expect from an Indianized Chinese restaurant... Taste and quantity is justified with the price of the menu... Ambiance is the area where improvement is required... Looks a bit shabby, furnitures were old, cuttleries were also used several occasions which creates an awkward feeling even though the food was very good...
I like this place personally..pocket friendly and delicious food.. They never disappoint you..Good staff members and good service too... great variety in the menu which will confuse you.š
Chung Wah as a food chain is directly related to my childhood memories. The one at Park Street, Kolkata was my every Sunday thing with parents. When I shifted to Bangalore a decade back, you had been the partner for my homesickness. The same taste in the food and ambience took me back the memory lane, every time I visited. In fact, whenever I have my folks in town, you help me recreate the memories over and over again. Its a decade and I havenāt got bored of you and wonāt ever get.
One of the best pocket friendly chinese restaurant in New BEL road.Visited for more than 10 times just because of the lovely starters.
Pork is made to perfection.
Zomato gold gives a good reason to visit frequently.
Its a place to try if you love pork.
They serve really nice pork ribs...
Its soft and juicy.
Only issue is its too sweet.
Wonderful delicious..fresh...tasty food...
Must go..
Don't look for ambience..not so much decorated..but okay to have some good food in peace..near to Ramaiah hospital
This restaurant provides one of best Chinese food. The service was slightly slow however they made up for it with the taste. The service is good and the staff are quite courteous.Ā
Always been a huge fan of Chung Wah. If you are looking for good food, excellent quantity and affordable prices this is the place for you and others. The food is cooked well and taste is delightful. The service is prompt and courteous. I love visiting this place again and again. The garlic chicken gravy was sweet and prepared well. The ambience of the place is simple yet spacious and private. On a whole this is a must visit for food that will fill your tummy and burn a pinhole in your wallet.
Among all the competition at BEL road, Chung Wah does stand out in it's cuisine.
Decent interiors and design.
Friendly staff.
The menu has a decent amount of varieties to offer at a good price but Zomato gold is a bonus.
Food is pleasant. Parking is just a bit tough to find.
Good place to visit with family and if wanna go Asian. (Duh)
Food is excellent!! Love the chop suey they prepare....only concern is that the noodles were a bit on the raw side... fried rice is to die for!! Wish they would add few more dishes in the menu..!
The delivery was on time. I had ordered American chopseuy, chicken Lollipop and diced chicken chili. American chopseuy was okay, liked the taste. Chicken Lollipop was good, liked the sauce. Diced chicken chili was main course and was okay. Overall good taste of food and on time delivery
This is a good budget friendly place. Good ambiance. Service is satisfactory too. Food doesn't taste as great that you will feel like going back there again and again.if they could improve on that aspect, their business will really bloom given the location of the restaurant. But never the less, for the price it's a good place to visit. For their main course, the quantity of food is pretty high. It's more than enough for one person. So basically you could order two dishes for three person to avoid wastage.
A marked improvement in quality and quantity from previous orders.
Love this place for their prompt service and quality food. We have never dined here so far, always opted for a home delivery. One dish we order on repeat every time we desire to eat Chinese is the Chinese chopsuey. Apart from that the chow meins are a must try too. This is a good Chinese restaurant in the neighbourhood.
We had been there for lunch.
Ambience : Is good. Nothing extraordinary. Well maintained and clean. It has glass walls overlooking the busy street with enough ventilation.
Service : we didnt have any problem redeeming the Zomato gold offer. People are courteous and they understand your needs.
Food : we ordered just two dishes with a bottle of mountain dew. The first one was Koithio noodles. Its just a different version of the noodles and its flat. Then we ordered some spicy fried rice (I don't remember the exact name though). Koithio was Yummy!!!! All noodle lovers should try this atleast once. And the fried rice ws equally good with a touch of Indian spices. Both the items were above average and the quantity is looots!!! We both were overfull with just two dishes. So mind the amount before you order.
I would surely suggest this place. Hop in when you are really hungry and have a smile.
And for people who are planning on becoming a gold members you can use my id KAVY9735 to get 20% discount on your membership.
The ambience is better than I expected. Food was delicious and affordable.
Best place for Chinese and thai cuisine.
The fish and prawn were amazing with perfect amount spices. The quantity was more. Definitely gonna visit again.
Food - 10/10

Ordered only schezwan fried rice which was good
excellent taste as usual!
The best & authentic Chinese food you will have.
We have been relishing veg Chinese food for long from Chung Wah. Specially the chilli garlic noodles.
This restaurant is definitely understated. A few years ago it had a lot of fame but it is now overshadowed by new fancy restaurants.
The food here was amazing and the service was good too. The ambience is not much but in the end of the day it is the food that matters.
I think it needs a little more publicity these days but it is worth it guys.
quantity of food very less for the price
Chung Wah is a Chinese restaurant in New Bel Road area. With an affordable pocket pinch, this place offers good Chinese food. Located near the Rammiah Hospital, it is often crowded with young people. Momos, Manchow Soup and Hakka Noodles are worth a try here. I have visited this place twice and never have been disappointed. Recommended a try.
Worth the price.....cost is really reasonable. Good quantity of food is served and it's tasty too :) I was happy to get sufficient quantity for reasonable money
The go to place for me in Bangalore for good quality no frills Chinese food.
It's a complete package overall with good food, good ambience, prompt service and reasonable prices.
Have been a regular at this place for well over 6 years now and the high quality at this place has always been maintained right along these 6 years. A major plus point being that it's quite reasonably priced with no outrageous price hike across the 6 years.
Pros:
Tasty food
Quick and prompt service: Trust me, they are quite quick with their service. The waiting period between placing your order and having the food at your table is quite low. Impressive.
Affordable, light on the pocket: Always been reasonably priced and light on the pocket.
Cons:
A few times, very rarely actually, the cleanliness of the table and the place overall has been questionable.
I've faced issues of wrong order being delivered to my table a couple of times. But the management realised and corrected it immediately, nothing alarming.
Personal Favourites: Chicken Hot & Sour Soup, Chicken lollipop, Chilli chicken with curry leaves, Dragon Chicken Chopsuey, Chicken Dan Dan Mein Noodles, Ginger chicken Gravy.
Super fast delivery. Quality and quantity both were good.
This is review is for delivery. We ordered food based on previous reviews of this place on Zomato.Ā Good choice for decent Chinese cuisine. Chung Wah Rice, Chung Wah noodles were good. Would recommend Pot of Prosperity
and General Tao's Chicken as the taste and ingredients used to prepare the dish were good. We didnt have to follow up for the delivery and the food arrived pretty much on time.
Good place for Chinese food , also had some Thai food and it was pretty decent . Also taste wise i would say itās better than the other Chinese restuarantās around for the same price range .. service is pretty quick ..
Chung Wah is an all time favorite nearly Chinese restaurant for medium budget range.
Food: 5/5 Good food in affordable price range. Chicken lolypop and drunken chicken wings for starters, Mandarin Fish, Roast Chilli Pork for Side dish, Mei Foon/ Singapore Noodles, Cantonese Chowmein and Chung Wah fried rice for main course are my favorites. All dishes are consistent in taste.
Ambiance: 3/5 Nothing great, average.
Service: 3.5/5 Well behaved waiters. Understand English reasonably well.
Food was good. service was nice. the ambience is usually quiet and the staffs are friendly.. there is wide variety if disher for non vegetarians that ranges from chicken to lamb and seafoods..but for vegetarians its a nightmare..
A peaceful place in BEL road. They serve authentic Chinese food. The crispy chilli potato was good. A little over fried but manageable. Triple schezuan rice was we've with a side. It's definitely a must try. We ordered dragon chopsuey hoping to eat some spicy chopsuey. Surprisingly however, it was kinda sweet.
Service-4/5
Ambience-4/5
Price-4/5
Place is very peace and quiet.Service is really nice and quick. Food is amazing and delicious.the decoration over the dishes was really beautiful. One can have a nice experience of chinese dishes and this place is not good for vegetarians as they have very few veg dishes.
The ambience was too good, must say!
Low light, good decoration, nice sitting area.. spacious.
Coming to food, it was good. Quantity was also good for all food stuffs.
But the only negative point was :- food was very salty.
we had ordered
> Chung wah fried rice
> Chung wah noodles
> Drums of heaven (starter)
> Hunan Prawn.
Well, the starter could have been better. But all over it won't regret you totally. So folks, u can give it a shot.
On time delivery, good taste
We went to Chung Wah around their closing time, but they did serve us. The wontons, noodles, and soups were pretty decent nothing that I would be extremely delighted about.

Location:
Close to IISc. Near Bel road gate.
Ambience:
Nice and calm.
Food:
I used to like this place for soups and Chinese cuisines. Last time (3 months ago) when I went, I didn't find it so good. Recommend dishes; Chung wah chow min.
Been here a lot of times. Good food.
Decent ambience. The staff are friendly.
Love the Chopsuey, Chowmein, manchow soup, dragon and spring rolls.
Limited options for the vegetarians but everything Iāve tried so far has appealed my taste buds.
Not a big Chinese food fan.
Thereās a lot of options available.
Pork and Chicken to choose from in non veg menu.
2-3 types of noodles as per the dish.
Taste was good but I didnāt like the part of āsweeteningā of the most of the dishes with tomato ketchup.
Otherwise,all okay.
Good food, good ambience and courteous staff. Limited options especially for the veggie lovers. Soups are definitely a must try. Parking is another challenge but yea, worth the struggle for the soup lovers
I love their general touss chicken and shezwan noodles. The place is clean and tidy to have a quiet sumptuous meal. The waiters are also courteous.
good food and timely delivery
If its quantity and quality that you are looking for this place will not let you down. Located in Bel road, the place has a simple decoration overlooking the Ramaiah campus.
We had ordered fried momo, fried rice, kung pao chicken and mee goreng.
The fried momo is nothing out of the ordinary, the chutney could have been a better thick spicy one instead of sweet sauce.
The fried rice was simple and nice to have but unfortunately their was one tiny prawn which wasnt cleaned properly. So do look before you eat.
The Kung pao chicken was dry with mushrooms and peanuts but had a bit of extra ginger which suddenly popped up and disturbed the flavour.
The mee goreng was commendable. The noodles were properly stir fried was rich in flavour. The scent of the herbs could have been a bit less. At Nasi and Mee the mee goreng was not so dry but both have their own flavours.
I love the fact that they serve Asian food that is not Chinese. Not all of it is great, but most of it is quite good. Especially like the lamb and pork preparations.
Food is good..... Very awesome nd comfortable ambience .......very prompt service..... The fried ice-cream spring roll is a must š. Had a great casual dinner.
This is the place to eat oriental with family n friends. Lots of dishes to enjoy from all around asia. Good pricing and ample quantities of food served. Nice ambience on top of it.
Overall it's a good restaurant, with a decent ambience and mostly it's occupied. The food gets delivered quite fast, piping hot and fresh.
I ordered the American chopsuey, which was excellent, but I think the sweetness could have been reduced a little bit. The Nasi goreng, actually tastes epic but they're missing out on the additional chicken skewers and the fried side items. Chicken lollipops were splendid, Manchow soup was the best to warm up your appetite, Roasted Pork was the best and the meat was cooked perfectly, Pot Of Prosperity will just satisfy your soul it literally has everything from meat to Vegetables you must try this! Chicken Dragon Roll wasn't that special. Overall 4.5/5 definitely the place you'd wanna visit for tasty Chinese food on a budget.
A clean and neat place with slow soothing music is how I describe the ambiance of Chung Wah. Service and very prompt. Coming to the most important part of the review, FOOD! Kung pao chicken is the most preferred dish so we tried it out. Indeed the dish was delicious š the Thai basil rice and Cantonese fried noodles with sauce was appetizing. A highly recommended place for family dinners āŗ Do visit and do not forget to try KUNG PAO
The food is fine. I would still prefer other authentic Chinese eateries than this one. It's more to the Indian side than Chinese and that's a tragedy. The prices are pretty low and the ambience is good. The service is fast.
This has been another place that's always been my go-to! š
The momos (steamed/fried) and the chicken Peking noodles š are a must try! The Peking noodles come with soft noodles with some chicken gravy š¤¤!
ā¤ļø for this place!!
Though I'm not that big fan of Chinese food, but this is better than other Chinese restaurants in the same area. The ambienceā is good. Staff and service also good.
Decent place. The decor is ordinary and needs refurbishing. Staff is very courteous. Satisfied with the food. Actually I have been to two of their joints. The other one being the one near MG road. But, I think this is way better in terms of service and quality.
1. General Tao's chicken
2. Pot of prosperity. *it's awesome*
3. Chicken Dan Dan Mein
4. Fried rice with prawns.
Good, quiet place. The place can do wonders with a bit of refurbishing and decor changes. Thumbs up people.
It is a place with decent ambience and good Chinese food
They have good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishesThe Meego reng noodles is a must try for people who do not like Ā their food too spicyIt is decently priced and worth the money:)
I have been to this place multiple times and have exhausted half the vegetarian menu. Chung wah has a wide variety of appetizers, soups, noodles and rice and other main course. I'd recommend triple schezwan rice, Fujian rice, dragon choupsey among the main course.
Food: 4/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5
the portions are huge which is great as one dish is easily good enough for two people. chicken hakka is great, general tso's chicken is pretty good as well
Finally authentic chinese. Anybody who is longing for the traditional and conventional chinese should eat at this place. Amazing food. All the varieties - schezwan hakka noodles, schezwan fried rice, Manchurian balls.. Are all too good.
One of the oldest & best Chinese food outlets/dine-in in the neighbourhood.
Have done dine-ins, take away & home delivery requests via phone years before & via food aggregator apps in the recent past. Experience has almost always been nothing less than positive.
Have dined-in here in various mixtures of friends and every time all of us loved it. It's on first floor with glass look out spanning two whole walls with a view to the road outside. Ambience & service is real good - best in the area almost. Food is good. Normal above average on pocket as other Chinese places. Almost always the first Chinese eat-out choices for over a decade.
Some authentic Chinese (i.e. tailored to Indian taste Chinese :-) food we get from here. It's a delight after sampling Darshini Chinese & South Indian restaurant Chinese.
Favourites, starting from their Veg Tom Fung soup, to almost all their veg starters like Veg crispy fried/steam wanton, Crispy chilli vegetables & potato, Mushroom pepper salt, golden fried baby corn. Then in main course Veg Fried Rice hands down favourite, with one of the sides - Veg Balls in sauce of choice or Kung Paso or Tom Kha. Veg chowmein & noodles are great too.
Would recommend the place, any day for the Chinese food lovers.
Was in this area and felt like having Chinese. People around me directed me here and was told that this is the closest to Chinese cuisine I can get in this area.
Ordered chicken schezwan noodles and was pleased with what I got. Enough quantity for two people with thin fried noodles tossed in schezwan sauce. It tasted great as well, at least made us happy and quenched my Chinese cravings for now.
High prices apart, the food is good. Service is okish. They seem a bit scared to serve, rather! Nothing wrong about the place. Spending a bit to improve the steps, entrance and even the interiors would make it a better place.
It was like the idea came with a surprise as we were traveling from Koramangala to the Sanjaynagar for official visit and was hungry so dropped by @chungwah wah what a wonderful it was the ambience, it was bright and good seating arrangements, food and the service was top class,
Thank you team ChungWah, will visit again!
This place has some good Chinese , but my favourite would be the chicken drumsticks :D that's what my rating is for
The noodles I tried wasn't anything great , it was just like any other common basic restaurant
Have been here a couple of times and let me tell you they serve the better Chinese near this locality. I tried their Veg Manchow Soup, Crispy Schezuan vegetable, Egg fried rice and Hakka Noodles. they were all decent but i feel the quantity was less compared to other competitors, price is the reasonable for the given market.
Ambiance is of the typical chinese type. Staff are friendly

Chung wah has perfect indo Chinese combination of flavours, we ordered food and was pleasantly surprised as they delivered it quick and steamingly hot .. had their chowmein and kungpao chicken , it's full of flavours and quiet yummy, must try if ur in a mood for some quick Chinese meal :)

Good Chinese food. The place is crowded at times. They have a good spread with great choices. The service is prompt, courteous and helpful. Visited this place multiple times.
We liked the food here, the seafood soup was yummy.
Staff is good ter.
Nice interior.
Overall tasty food. Menu's are clearly specified so tat we can select easily
A neighborhood restaurant, been regular since 5 years atleast. Descent standard Chinese place with good food. Menu is elaborate and food is definitely tasty. Great staff and beautiful interiors.
Decent place, serves decent good. Cost wise good. Wouldn't say it's authentic but yeah you get good food. Try out some basic things like veg balls in hot sauce, hakka noodles, schezwan fried rice
I like this place a lot, never actually went there always ordered home. When it comes to Chinese we always end up ordering the usual favourites. Veg Hakka noodles, spring rolls, veg fried rice , gobhi manchurian and veg balls in garlic sauce, sweet corn soup. Never disappointed with the food. I really like these dishes a lot , so didn't experiment much. Friends say their non veg is really good
H the best of luck to you by the way to get a chance to win the game is a good time to time and money to pay for the first time in the morning and evening of the most important thing is that the company is a good time to time and money to pay for the first time in the
Good place . Ambience is very nice . A little over budget but for two or more its normal . The food is excellent . Dragon rolls are a must try .
The Chung Wah opposite Ramaiah hospital has been around for over 5 years now serving affordable and one of the best quality chinese food in the area. I am a regular visitor here and I really enjoy the wide range of choices available in the menu. While they specialise in Chinese, I'm particularly impressed with the items listed in the Thai, Malay and SIngapore sections. In fact, the Malaysian Prawn Laksa is possibly the best soup they serve. Follow this up with Drunken chicken wings or the amzing Cantonese roast pork. For mains we really liked the mixed Singaporean noodles or the meal-in-a-bowl Fujian Rice. The pot-of-prosperity is an interesting concept.
I have been in many Chung Wah outlets across the city and can unhesitatingly recommend this branch as the second best after the legendary one close to Shankarnag Theatre on MG Road.
Decent Chinese cuisine restaurant. Food quality is also good. The place is spacious and have good dining ambience. Though the quantity if food us a bit less, that is compromisable. Overall you will have a good experience.
Accidentally crashed at this place. Was one of our friends birthday treat. And then we came to realise it is one of the Best authentic Chinese restaurants in town. There are lot of restaurants near to this, but if you are looking for Chinese food for reasonable prices. Then This is the most apt place. The butterfly prawns and crab were best dishes which we tried. Better go for noodles instead of rice items.
This was my first visit, and I'll soon drop in again. š
The ambiance was very pleasant, and the ID was fine too.
The staffs were well behaved and very patient.
Coming to the food now,
We had ordered mongolian fried rice, sea food fried rice, Chiken noodles, prawns chilly, lamb, and chiken chilly.
I must say the prawns chilly was really nice, and the rest of the items were fine too as per the price. I was not very satisfied with the lab, but it's worth a try.
And yes, the rates were reasonable too.
My overall ratings would be :
a) ambiance- 4
b) food quality and quantity- 3.5; 4
c) staff behaviour- 3.5
d) cleanliness-4
e) price-3.7
Thanks.
Happy eating š
Very well behaved waiter. Ambience was better before but now they have switched to little uglier version. You can go drooling over the food. Triple Schezwaan Rice is my personal favorite. Dragon Choupsey is also good. And it won't dig any hole in your pocket. Do visit.
Tasty !! Worth the money. Have been here more than 20 times .the best chinese and thai food tasted so far !! just love the food here. Have tasted almost 3/4th the menu.

My family and I have been eating here and ordering from here for about 10 years now.
We order home more than go there to eat and their food never fails to satisfy the old craving for the Indian-Chinese cuisine so unique to India. Even relatives from US make a bee line for this place.Ā
Our favourite dishes are: Crispy spinach chicken, crispy fried pork and Mala Chicken gravy.Ā
They staff are helpful, nice and there is a sense of ease around the place. I plan to eat from here for another 10 years... at least.
Cannot go wrong when you eat in this one! I miss indo Chinese living in Australia so the first thing I do when I land in Blore is go n get me some manchurian. From when I can remember Chung Wah has always been the best. The service here was particularly great. Shall be back soon.
Food: Not the best Chinese food here, but matches well with the price. Serves generous amount at the main course. Recently ordered a vegetarian dish that was told to be served with lot of vegetables, only came with carrot & cabbages.
Ambience: Nice.
Service: Depends, sometimes sharp but sometime they take long time also. Last time is was better though.
Price: Value for money if you want to have Chinese food at minimum cost in this area.
This restaurant is serving very good service and ambience!
Good food and ambience specially loved fish manchurian and prawn noodles!
Must visit!

Price-not costly but not that cheap also....
Food I have liked-the chung wah chowmein is awesome....as well you can try the pork dishes...they are really nice....
Good restaurant. I liked the ambiance and the fact that it is on the main view-front at BEL road. The service was ok and the food was good too. Personally, I didn't really get the feel of the taste, but overall it was nice.

Must have - Double cooked lamb
All dishes taste very good here. But the dish that stood out for me was double cooked lamb. Its very tasty and cooked to perfection. A must try! Noodles and rice are also good :)
The home delivery was quicker than expected. The food is delicious, must try the seafood. Also the chicken is great. The service receives 10 on 10.
Good food, reasonable price, service is also great.. Chicken clear soup was really filled with fresh veggies with chicken. You get many options for main course as well.. Overall it's a definitely value for money deal
Come to chung wah if ur taste buds want smthing really Chinese. food is really awesome,, nice place for dining out with friends nd family..!
The best Chinese restaurant that I've been to recently..I have been ordering food from here from quite a long time but it's always been a home delivery..but I visited this restaurant yesterday..the ambience is quite decent..a simple Chinese restaurant..the service is good and quick.. We have ordered for Thai Special Fried Rice..the best fried rice I've ever had..and Singapore chicken noodles..this noodles is made out of rice and the noodles are thin n tastes yum..chicken Manchuria is also good..n they haven't disappointed us when we ordered other dishes for home delivery.
I visited this place for the first time wid a friend n I quite liked the ambiance and everything. It was pleasant and the waiters very also very kind. The food is delicious typical cuisine like the one ul find in Beijing bites or other chinese joints. The price is reasonable as well. If u want your tummy to be filled n dont want to shell too much then this place is worth it . . :)
Went there with a friend some months back. Took the buffett option. Was quite satisfied with the quality of food(though the main course could be improved), the serivce was very good.
Would love to go back again and taste their menu al-la-carte.
Great place to try out authentic Chinese. Great service and good food. Must try Dishes would be "Hunan Chicken(dry)" and " Drums of heaven ".
As i like to dine a lot on Chinese food, so Chung Wah, has been a continuous visit. I always go in for Chinese, but this time i thought of trying something i used to regularly. It was Veg Wanton Soup and Crispy Chilli Patato for starter. For main course it was Chicken Lemon Grass and Malaysian noodle. It was worth a try.

This is probably one of the very few in the locality to offer Chinese and Thai cuisine. The food is good!! The only downside would be the poor ambiance.
This is one of the regular good Chinese restaurant that am a fan off... Having here since a decade plus now... Roast Chili pork .... Malaysian noodles ...Buddhas delight ... Chicken steam rice and fish are a good choice ... Well the noodles prepared here are good ... You will get s bit of homely taste in them ... Clear soups are well prepared... Home delivery is well equipped.. Give them proper directions they will deliver at your door steps within 3 Kms ... Over all good food and fast service...
Food - Good but bit expensive. Some are worth the price.
Ambiance - Good,lot of space,calm and cool,rarely crowded so.
Service - Good.
Price - Bit expensive.
Must try - Hunan lamb-Bit chewy but it lives an after taste in mouth which is delicious.
Never Try - Some desert named Darasun something,it was definitely not worth anything,It was fried noddles with ice-cream(local) and Honey.
If you want to try something new in non-veg this is the place.unlike rest to non-veg restaurants where only name changes whereasĀ taste is slightly differs.
Wanted to have dinner on new Bel road on a Saturday night. Found Auntie fung's crowded so went to Chung wah. It's on the first floor. The staff really does not care when you enter(-1). We had to call the staff so that we get a menu at the table. It wasn't really that crowded at 9pm. But by 9.30 people swarmed in. Ordered chowmein, chopsuey and an appetizer. The service improved once food was brought to the table as the staff were willing to serve the food. The food was good and filling. Good on the wallet.
The service guy took away my glass of water towards the end without even checking with me!(-.5). If the staff were a little more enthusiastic about servicing the customers would've given a 4-4.5!
I have been a customer ( home delivery) for about 5 years now and they have never given a chance to complain about anything. I took my mother and aunt there in September 2014 and they really loved their veg noodles. I myself is a big fan of their pork dishes and have tried all of them but my favourite is Roasted chilly pork gravy or hunan pork gravy with pork fried rice & also love the Pork steamed rice. Hoping the chung wah team will come up with more new dishes of pork as I am from North Eastern India and eagerly wait to try new dishes on pork . My suggestion is that you also add some Chinese/Asian salad items to your menu like the Chinese Chicken Salad as it is a good side dish. Wising you success in your future endeavors.

Excellent place for spicy and Chinese food.. I love all the branches of Chung wah.. Good in taste quantity quality and value for money .. Good place for evening hangout for Chinese food lover's ..
Had been here for two times, I have tried satay chicken which was really awesome, Thai fried rice wid basil leaves, this gave some very different taste among Chinese dishes, Thai noodle soup was really good . Authentic Chinese dishes , I must say!!!

The place is also big enough to accommodate large no.of people at one go so you don't have to worry about having to wait for table. The staffs are friendly and plus their service is also very good.

Great food. One of the best places in the neighborhood for a good simple family time. Lunch or dinner this is the place to go.. I would recommend the simple noodle.. With the pork slices to go.. Service is also appreciatively swell.
I had gone there alone on a Sunday afternoon. Chicken fried Momos were amazing. They were juicy. But were dearer in the pocket. Hot and spicy Thai lamb curry was fine. Chung wah chowmein was a good amount of platter in Rs. 140/-. The menu was quite attractive though. Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, etc.. The restaurant maintains its open and close timings well. However they ran out of desserts at the end..
I have been to this branch of chung wah recently. Located at prime location opposite ramaiah hospital. We ordered crispy fried praws, kung pao chicken and honey chilly chicken. Food was really awesome . Service was also good. Would recommend people.
This was my second visit to this place. The ambience is good but service could be better. Food is quite delicious, especially when compared to those expensive Chinese restaurants. Overall quite satisfied.
For a person who is engrossed in his research work in the Physics Department of the Indian Institute of Science (Tata Institute), going out to eat can prove to be a dilemma. Hence, people like myself resort to ordering food from the restaurants on New BEL Road. Amongst them, this restaurant caught my eyes. Their preparations of Chinese food was delicious. The chilli chicken and chilli fish, my favourite dishes were made with such subtlety and tenderness that one wouldn't feel in any way, the fibrous interior of the chicken, but as if taking a bite of a cotton candy. The main course Chinese items were really amazing as well. Although, my fried rice got cold by the time I started eating (no issues, Chung Wah!) the taste was absolutely brilliant. I give this place a 3.5 out of 5.
A good place to dine in but needs some improvisation in the menu. Sliced Pork With Veg is my favourite. The soup's are good and build's your hunger for the main course. But I must say they have tried to cover some good dishes so that a customer doesn't get disappointed. Overall good food.
Had been to this place couple of days back. Well. I would say it is just an average place when compared to other Chung Wah outlets.
Pros: prompt delivery and the authentic Chinese taste !! If you are in a mood to have good Chinese then this would be a good choice i wouldnt say the best one though!
Ambience was just average and the place is so small that it cant accommodate more number! I would recommend a bit more cleanliness around! And yeah! Most importantly the staff should be trained a bit in order to let them know how it would be to offer a better service!!
Have been here innumerable times. The food served here is too good. The service also being good. The best dish one must try is the fuzian rice also the american choupsies....
This is the best place in Bangalore for Chinese food. Period. I have tried really big chinese restaurants, but the taste and satisfaction this place provides is something else altogether. Situated in the busy new BEL road, right opposite M.S. Ramaiah Hospital and above cafe coffee day, this place has been around for ages. I have been visiting this place for more than ten years now and the taste has remained the same. Ofcourse you cannot improve on perfection. The staff here knows us closely as we visit as often as we can. They smile and welcome every customer and are extremely alert and quick. When we think of Chinese, this is the place that comes to our mind. There are many Chung-Wahs in Bangalore and we have tried almost every branch expecting the same taste, but we have always been disappointed. It is only this particular place where the food is splendid.
We always start off with some veg manchow soup. The soup is delicious and uplifting. The vegetables are cooked to perfection and the delicate spice tickles your taste buds. The fried noodles that come with it are thin and crisp and add a completely different texture to the already wonderful soup. I have had the chicken version ofy this soup too and it tastes equally delicious. The steam momos here are to die for and the sauce that they serve with it is one of a kind. I have never had such a tasty sauce before! The golden fried praws are a delight and is a luxury. Jumbo prawns coated in batter and deep fried to perfection. It cannot get better than this.
The fried rice is perfect and the veggies in it taste so good. The shangai fried rice that is a mixture of both rice and noodles is a must have. The taste is splendid and one portion is enough to fill two people. When it comes to the gravies, each one is wonderful than the other. Since my husband is a vegetarian we usually end up having veg balls in manchurian gravy or spinach and corn in black bean sauce. Both of them taste divine and are very different from each other. They have a high spice quotient and go wonderfully with the rice. Along with Chinese, these people serve Thai and Vietnamese as well.
They do not have many options for desserts. The primary one is darsaan with icecream which is crispy fried honey noodles, dusted with sesame seeds and served with vanilla icecream. It is haven in your mouth. The sticky hot noodles and the really cold icecream combine in your mouth and explode in wonderful taste. The other dessert is lychees with cream. This is fresh, delectable and tasty as well. Honestly, with the wonderful starters and main course they serve, you hardly have any room for dessert. I visit this place atleast twice in a month and I will continue to do so.
Staff and service: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Taste: 4.5/5
Value for money: 4/5
I never loved Chinese Singaporean dishes as much as i started after literally hogging in chung wah... An awesome experience wid food i must say... This place has its own distinct n exotic flavour that cannot be compared to anything..... N not to forget to mention the prices are very low
Favorite place for.chinese food!
Try the general tao chicken, singapore noodles, malaysian noodles and veg balls.
Great service, efficient and polite staff too..
This place is a delight.!
Well this place is just awesome for Chinese food. Very good taste.. Very good service and good ambience. So without any hesitation you should visit this place. Yes... It is pocket friendly also. :)
Just returned from a wonderful lunch at this place. Typical Indian Chinese styled delicacies. My pick of the day was roast pork cantonese style (which has no outer covering around the meat, so you get directly meat in your mouth). I have not delved much into the details of the sauce but it was a different kind of taste altogether. Loved it !! The double cooked lamb was a common dish and it's like a basic lamb prep. So really nothing special about that, in my opinion.Ā
Dan Dan Mein was good. A different style of hakka noodles.Ā
All in all, it's a really good establishment compared to some big shot Chinese restaurants you have nearby. Good portions, a nice taste, good location, homely atmosphere and reasonably priced!!
Would look forward to visiting this place again sometime soon :)
Being a vegetarian very limited options. But the food is awesome ans sumptuous. Thai curry is something to have every time.. overall very good.
The egg noodles are nice. But I don't understand the concept of peas in a Chinese fried rice. The rice not so good. The gravies are normal. The momos are quite tasty.
One of our most visited places over the last few years, this is where we go for comfort food and we've rarely been disappointed. Good food, simple but pleasing ambience, decent service... all without burning a big hole in the pocket. Our personal favorites here are the Mixed Fujian Rice, Roast Pork Cantonese style, and Dan Dan Mien Noodles. The Prawn Laksa soup was an amazing surprise find and it is sure to be relished by lovers of Thai/Malay style food. Have also heard a lot about their Pot of Prosperity which we are yet to try.
Our favourite pig out spot during my IISc days. This is pocket friendly for underpaid student community and the food is simply awesome! My staple order being the chung wah mixed fried rice and pot of prosperity. Other than that the fish dishes are simply too good. The quantity is more than enough. Every time I visit there I am a happy tummy girl.
I like thier location.. its a decent place... nd also a budget eating place... they offer good chinese food... I love their singapore nd Malaysian flat noodles...
It is a popular place among us (IISc students). A good Chinese restaurant near IISc Ramaiah Gate.
Price: 3.5/5
Per person cost approx Rs 400/-. Ā Accepts card.
Food: 4/5
Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese... Quality and quantity both are quite good... Try- their pork or lamb
Ambiance: 4/5
Nice decoration...Try to grab a seat near the window
Service: 4.5/5
Very good service- we celebrated one of my friends birthday here....They arranged the candles and other stuffs.... They also provide chopsticks if you want
When it comes to 'Chinese food' at a reasonable rate 'Chung Wah, New bel' is my first choice.
Pricing: Is quite reasonable and the quantity of each item offered here is quite fulfilling.
Items/dishes which i really like here are Chicken sweet corn soup, Hunan chicken/pork, Schezwan Fried rice and Fujian rice.
One thing which i really hate at this place is waiting for a table on weekends as this place is very much crowded and tables are less.
Ambiance is quite good, the view of the BEL Road from the window side on a rainy evening is quite enjoyable. Lots of options for Chinese, South-East Asian Cuisines. Reasonably priced. Do order for less initially, it happened several times that we over ordered and had to pack some remaining food.
Had visited here for lunch as it was near the hospital. Didnt expect much from the place, but was surprised. The food is amazing and so was the service.
This palce has good service. All the time.Ā
The ambience isnt't very Asian. They've not tried too hard to recreate Asian styling. But the seating is comfortable.
The food however is much above average. Largely Chinese food on the menu. The flavour is subdued to suit the Indian palette. Try the Nasi Goreng.Ā
Not a spectacular or a memorable place. But the place you wouldn't mind eating 3 days out of 7.
The food here is excellent and the staff are really friendly....even though the ambience is decent..i think its more of a take out joint...either way the food is what keeps people coming back for more..both the fried rice an schezwan fried rice are good ..the latter a bit more spicy..a special mention to the fried noodles which was excellent....(p.s fried refers to stirfried not deep fried)..general tao's chicken was recommended by everyone..but unfortunately i could not sample it...should give that a try.. All in all a good place to satisfy your chinese cravings...
This place has some of the yummiest Chinese food in the city. It's quite cheap as well. I love almost everything on their menu, and it's so great. Admittedly, it's much more of a home delivery place, than an actual eat-out-at type place. The place is very average in terms of decor, and ambience, but that can be forgiven thanks to its yummy food.
I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant, simple ambience, but great food at moderate price.Ā
I would say that very few restaurants have sense of preparing chinese food, but these guys do.
Excellent place to be. The location is good too, just beside the New BEL Road and a nice view from the first floor especially in the night. When I reached, most of the tables were full and although we chose a small table for us, the restaurant stuff found a comfortable table for us with ample space. Great food! Malay, Chinese, Singaporean dishes. Chicken Lolly Pop, Chilly Lamb, Satay, Fried Rice varieties are all excellent stuffs indeed. The attender was very sober and really helped us at everything we asked. Quantity is more which we were ignorant about. So, ended up packing half the ordered food for next day as well :-)
I wish i could have rated it a 5 out of 5. Authentic Chinese Food. People taking orders and serving are very nice. Soothing music to accompany you with your food. Must try - Sate Chicken
Price - Very reasonable compared to other restaurants.
Deducted the 1 rating coz the amount of chicken in noodles n rice was minimal.
A decent place. But you might find the prices a little repelling compared to the other Chinese restaurants at New BEL road. But the food and service do match that price and I will definitely recommend this place for a Chinese craving!

New Bel Road has quiet a few options for Chinese food - this is one and the others being Beijing Bites and Hunan for competition. Well each have their own pro's and con's. For this place - first impression - no lifts and the place is in first floor so might be an issue for the senior guests. The entrance is main road facing and one has to find parking in some streets / cross roads adjoining to the resto.HadĀ a few empty tablesĀ when we reached there,Menu's were handed over and we quickly ordered Hot and Sour soups, crispy chilly paneer, Thai basil fried rice and Shangai fried rice. The soup was good and the quantity was actually more even after doing a 2/4. Thai rice was nice but could be more spicy. Shangai rice was a little bland !! Service was good - food was served in a quick time - but the waiters seem distracted a lot - the guy serving our plates got distracted with someone behind and he turned his head and served the table instead of the plate !! Ambience wise walls are nicely decorated but the floor needs to be revamped. Space between tables is quiet good. Overall worth a visit but not frequently !!
I would recommend. Good food, nice decor and good service makes visit to this restaurant worthy.
Ambiance: Good (8/10). Sitting arrangements spacious. Nice decor.
Cleanliness: Clean (8/10). Utensils, servers, sitting space and bathroom is clean.
Service: Fast (8/10). Staff, servers are polite and always available. Quick at receiving home delivery orders and reservation at the restaurant.Ā
Food: Good (8/10). Good variety of "Indian" Chinese food available. Freshly cooked food is served.
Tips: You can also try its home delivery. It takes around 45 minutes.
Really nice restaurant for chinese food lovers. The drums of heaven and General Tao chicken are a must try here. Also worth trying is the lunch combo(not sure if they have it now or not). Quite economical and the quantity of food served to you is good as well.
This place serves the bestest Chinese food ever! Period. As a vegetarian whenever I visit a Chinese place I am always disappointed, either the food has too much ketchup or the dish tastes awful. But then this place drove all those bad experiences out of the window and voila serves the best Chinese.
The manchow soup is a bloody treat to the palette and you feel the taste if each of the ingredients with every spoon.Absolutely yummylicious. Hats off to the cooks.
We usually order the vegballs in manchurian gravy or baby corn and spinach in black bean sauce and it is the best ever. It truly gives you that foodgasm with every single bite. This place is a must try for all Chinese food lovers.
For dessert we usually order darsaan with ice cream and wow this one makes the experience complete.Ā
The waiters are super friendly and knowing that we are regulars always come and talk to us. Awesome experience!
Rating : 5/5
Budget - 500 for 2
Have been to this place quite a few times. Nothing too fancy, nothing too decorative about this place. But a good place to fulfill your regular Chinese cravings.
Not too pricy , decent seating, fast service makes it a delight for eating Chinese food.
The food is good too. The triple schezvan rice, momos, chicken Starters are a must have here. For vegetarians. Should try the babycorn manchuri, macho soup, very tasty and filling.
For the price and the mostly student crowd they cater to, certainly a palace I would recommend all to keep going to.
The kind of knowledge that the staff has about their products is rare in the industry.
Drunken Chicken Wings are the stuff! Chicken Tom Yam soup is like a well planned entertainer that gets better towards the end, to the point of making you drool, which, I guess, is a really good way to go towards the starters. The main course servings are generous and each item has a unique taste. There are no signs of haste in the preparations and the presentation is good too.
My favourite restaurant . once in a 2 weeks I visit here. Ambience is decent, food is proper. Serving quality is very good. My suggestion is general Tao's chicken , mandarin fish, any lamb preparation and of course chicken steamed rice and american chop suey.
A decent place to have Chinese cuisines. The food here is delicious. I have been to this place a couple of times, and everytime i have enjoyed the meal.
Non veg starters and noodles are particularly the better items in the menu, they prepare it really well.
Once you place your order, you might have to wait for quite sometime though.
The ambience is okay and service seems to be good too.
The best place to have Chinese around.
Ambience: Nothing really all that great. But is fine. No music as such. Feels like something is missing there.
Service : Decent service. And that's all it is but they are helpful.
Food: And here's where the tables turn. Amazing! Good quantity! Really good taste. Really nice food here.
Visiting again
This place is comfortable as the location is perfect for many colleges. Moreover the food and the ambience is nice. They serve almost all quality chinese items that is available in Bangalore, and prices are reasonable. My fav dishes were the chicken drums of heaven (very similar to drumstick), and the crispy american choupsey. The only downside I see is the accommodation is limited. Often we were kept waiting during the weekends.
Really good food. Great place for Chinese dinner.
nice food. although awful ambience and people. good quantity too.
Love Chinese food and love Chung Wah particularly. Their Chilly Garlic Noodles are to die for amongst other dishes.
I also love the fact that they sometimes customize the dish for you like adding extra veggies or sauce or some different element.
Excellent eating joint!
Pretty darn good. Almost ever other weekend we order from here, one of the very few consistently good chinese food around. I am also inclined to say there are some dishes they make better than highly priced, posh and speciality chinese restaurants. Value for money and good food.
If you like spicy indianised chinese food, chungs never lets you down.
Everything on the menu is good. Hunan's one of the best.
Gan bei.
Food was good and served very warm. Presentation was ok ok. It tasted good as well. Not many seats but it is spacious enough. At least the owner did not try to maximise the seatings by cramping the space. We found owner more interacting to customers compared to other staffs. This is something need to be improved. Staffs are very introvert.
I have been to this hotel thrice and I was impressed the first time itself. the food was delicious and they didn't make us wait. the food was delivered fast. And you get 15% off if you are a Ramaiah student.
The manchow soup was really awesome!!The service was quite quick .All the items that we ordered tasted good except the chicken lollipop.Didn't find it tender was to hard to be swallowed, rest all the dishes were worth a try !
4 star for the food. Ambience not great! Staff courtiusness is kinda ok. They were locked *located*above coffee day earlier but now above naturals ice cream on RMV road .
Nice place for a quick dinner. Amazing and tasty food. The quantity and quality is very good and at a reasonable price. The service is quick and no long wait hours. Best place for Asian cuisine. Loved the crispy chicken starter. The noodles was spicy and yummy too. Will love to try out their out dishes. The ambiance is good with a normal seating arrangement.
We started off with a Manchow soup followed by starters , chicken lollipop, chicken manchurian and the main course that is shezwan rice and fried rice.
The Manchow soup here is the best I've ever tried compared to any other Chinese restaurants in Bangalore. It was filled with spices, delicious and flavourful.
The chicken lollipop was really juicy and lip smacking,It wasn't too dry it had the perfect texture(Highly recommended)
Nice place. Real taste of Chinese food. Price is very affordable and tasty food. Good ambiance, good people, good customer care. You can go alone, woth friends, family. Good for handouts and bday parties. Spicy foods are best with these Chinese touch.
Food is good, ambience is good
If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to crash.
The owners and servers are nice, but they won't help you in describing the food.
I asked, " what does it taste like?", pointing to one of the Chinese delicacy.
He said, "you won't like it!"
I ordered it anyhow, cos I was there to taste something new, something alien to my food palettes.
It was okay, had a earthly flavour and you could taste all those sesameš
They offer a bunch of food so, it doesn't matter if you're veg or not, you will have a lot of options.
The served quantity is plenty and I couldn't even finish my plate and got it packed.
The ambience is quite blant except for the wall stickers.
I was mesmerized by it. It depicted the medevial period of Chinese dynasties.
I don't think they serve alcohol, I didn't find a menu of that sort.
Enjoy your food,
Itadakimasu
A peaceful place in BEL road. They serve authentic Chinese food. The crispy chilli potato was good. A little over fried but manageable. Triple schezuan rice was we've with a side. It's definitely a must try. We ordered dragon chopsuey hoping to eat some spicy chopsuey. Surprisingly however, it was kinda sweet.
Service-4/5
Ambience-4/5
Price-4/5
I have been to this quaint restaurant a few times.a Theod has always been delicious and service beyond reproach. And it's reasonably priced. Highly recommended
Mostly ordered take out from here so Iām not sure how the dine-in experience is, but the food here amazing. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious
Best chinese food @ New-Bel road from many years.Decent ambience and friendly staff. There are two things they will have to work on cleanliness and parking
Food quality is excellent and tasty ,last time when I visited i enjoyed my food šššš
Food was great.......but afternoon closing timings is 2:30pm... Which could b extended cz many ppl have odd times for lunch
Good restaurant for Chinese and Thai food. It's located right on the main road. Parking might be a problem and they do not have valet parking.
The food is decent. Service is a bit slow but it's worth the wait.
