First thing that comes to my mind even i think about urban adda is their delicious lip smacking nachos.
Hookah prices are pretty less compared to other places.. Ambience isn't that great.

Really a nice place to hangout and the ambience is pretty good for the food served. Value for money for sure. A must visit for all atleast once.
Food: Taste is ok, nothing distinct to mention. Portions are generous.
Ambience: Great hangout place, chill with your friends kind.
Service: Slow.

The good : ambience which is very informal, Laid back informal hang out "adda" especially if you're in MSR.
The bad : The food - seemed to me like everything we ordered was right out of a "heat and eat" chicken pack. I could've done that at home you know.
The place can do really really well if revamped and given a make over with the menu and the food. Many things on the menu were not even available. Try to keep more freshly made items on the menu.
For any student, the ideal place to eat is an open-air all-nighter with every possible fast food or full meal available. And, when all this comes at the right price, the most obvious place to mention is Urban Adda.
Widely covered menu, quick service and nice ambience, this place hits a lot of right notes, especially for the smokers. What could improve, though, is the focus on some of the flavors, where there seemed to be an effort in making some dishes up to the mark!!! Would want to be here soon, with a better culinary experience to take back!!!
A good Value for money place. Serves good food. But this place is more about its interiors. The graffiti and the guitar makes it a place for fun college treats. However, the service is very slow !!! Also they should try to broaden their menu options.
Great place, non AC, pocket friendly, amazing food... The only thing missing there is beverages.. else a decent place to lunch and dine when you're bored of cooking or home cooked food..
Very nice urban hang out place as suggested by the name, good staff and service. Tasty and fulfilling parathas and curds portions. Though the place needs to be maintained properly, cleanliness near the kitchen is not great.

The place is a cool hangout. A group of friends can go and spend as much time as they can. The chicken starters are very good. And the quantity is fair enough. But it is not as chilled out now as it used to be. They take ages to serve you the food. The flaw gets ignored coz of the things you do there like playing board games, playing guitar etc. but if you are in a hurry, you have to remember about the delay they do.

It's ironic that the first I ate here was a take away. Ironic because every little detail about this place is intended for lounging.
The seating area is split in two, a roofed large area with conventional wooden chairs, large tables and dark lighting; and the remaining quarter is out in the open on the terrace with more of a lounge seating and pretty lights around you. Detailing includes a book shelf with a random assortment of airport novels, an acoustic guitar, a black board for you to scribble on and a few sofa chairs.
We arrived at the restaurant on a Friday evening at about 8pm to find only 3 tables occupied out of about 15. We ordered for our take away and waited for a lifetime for it to be delivered. I'd heard that the service is as slow as the detailing wants you to believe. Waiters were otherwise helpful and forthcoming.
When we did get our food, and finally dug in at home, it had the most gaping disparity I have ever tasted. The Chicken kebabs (Malai Tikka, Kalmi Kebab and Tandoori Chicken) were ranging from really good to worth dying for. The Veg starters (Tandoor Veg platter and Paneer Malai Tikka ) on the other hand ranged from rock hard to just no.
I won't be hurrying back to this restaurant, but since it advertises itself to be more of a lounge than a restaurant I will try it again at some point; when I have oodles of time to waste maybe.

The food is good, the ambiance is good and the crowd is also good. I don't know about the non-veg items but veg dishes were nicely cooked. Earlier the service was bad, but recently they improved a bit on that part too.

Cool place to chill out with friend. You can play guitar, uno cards and there is small library where you can pick a book and read while waiting for food. There is a smoking area for smokers. Rooftop.
I recently visited this place with my friends after quite some time. Earlier I used to avoid going this place because of poor service. You have to wait for long but this time it was really quick. Within half an hour our order was ready. Also the quality of food has increased. The only reason to avoid this place is that it has become little expensive. Also there should be clear separation between dining and cooking areas otherwise any way out for cooking smoke that sometimes plays spoilsport.
Urban adda is an awesome place! This is the first proper concept cafe I have seen till now in bangalore..
Punjabi food has amazing desi taste :D , best dal makhani & cheesy nachos .
Service ppl are also very jolly and nice, they will always help you with the best suggestions..

suggestion wud be to increase sitting in the terrace garden are, we rarely get space thr :( , but i love that space :D

This place is not like the usual ones. It has an urban kind of a theme which makes it very easy to hangout with friends. Urban Adda serves one of the best North Indian cuisine around the area. And for all you WiFi lovers, this place has amazing internet with a speed of up to 15 Mbps. Enjoy!

I was studying in MSRIT and dis was d place to go..good food...a place to unwind and a corner to watch matches wid friends over a cup of cold coffee or a cup of tea...if u r looking for zwingy new feel for an eatery dis is a go place..
Best place to hang out and relax with your friends. Decent pricing. Relaxed environment. Best Chicken Currys in the area for the price. Haven't tried the Veg Currys but a lot of friends tell meet it's pretty good as well. Snacking options available. Try the cutlets and pakodas. The tandoori items are very good. The restaurant is always full in evenings, especially Saturday evenings. Book a table in advance if you're going in a group of more than 2-3 people.
