Haleem means Pista House and vice-versa. I visit inlt yearly once or twice during Ramzan, and love it. Unfortunately Zomato is not having the delivery option.
A must visit place during the Ramadan food festival. The most popular dish is the Mutton Haleem. Khulani Ka Meera is an apricot based dessert and a must try.

I had an opportunity to visit Pista House in Bangalore and try their world famous mutton haleem. It was an awesome experience and I really enjoyed the haleem. The mutton was properly minced and had the adequate amount of spices in it. Their were also a few tender pieces of mutton in it which made it a wholesome experience.

There's a place to take away the haleem right across the street so we just a got 3 boxes of haleem packed. So absolutely delicious, must try!
you don't need to read reviews to know that Pista House's haleem is one of the best haleems all around. In Hyderabad obviously they have some competition but in Bangalore, definitely the best haleem. I was doing a ramzan food walk in mosque road and i was pretty much full when I came across Pista House. The Biryani here is super! Whether we have ordered for a get together or ordered home the Biryani is super! The owner is a wonderful guy and may even personally deliver if it’s a largish get together you are ordering for.Theyve customized spice levels depending who we have ordered for without any fuss! Their mutton and chicken biryani are absolutely fantastic.... each time! Kudos!
With Ramzan hovering, I wanted to have a dig at Haleem and was doing a bit of research on quora and other blogs on where can I find good Haleem in and around Marathahalli. Thanks to one of the review below (by Kamalika) I found out that Pista House has a temporary outlet to sell limited Haleem boxes in Marathahalli opposite Innovative Multiplex. I inquired with the shops besides the outlet and they mentioned that it opens @ 4PM. And I was there bang on time to get hold of the packed box which was hot when I held it in hand.
Here comes the moment of truth:
The Haleem was too good and I recommend to eat it when its hot. You also get brown onions, mint leaves and a lemonade to top it up. They add extra zing to the haleem. The only downside is the peppercorns that pop up (personally I dont like them) but other than that its a smash hit !
Waiting for next year now :-)
I would prefer takeaway as it is not that good.

An ardent lover of haleems this time of the year really wait for pista house Haleem and they never turn you down.
Thankfully they have their outlets in Marathalli coz if you a late you are supposed to get disappointed as they run out of stock.

Ambience: Small Ac sitting arrangement. Nothing peculiar to talk about.
Service: When we reached, we were the only customer. It was good.
Food: Chicken of this place is very tasty. We had ordered chicken starter, it had chicken keema stuffed inside chicken, prepared in tandoor. The taste was very good. In main course, the server suggested us to try chicken chatpata. By look, it didn’t appeal but the taste was true to it’s name . Previously have tasted biryani and many other chicken starters also, all have always been tasty.
Overall a good place to have non-veg dishes and cheap too.
For those who don't know, this is a branch of the famous Pista house restaurant in Hyderabad. Pista house has received geographical importance from the government of India because of its Haleem which they serve only during Ramadan. I'd rate this restaurant a 3 star but the 4 star is because of its offerings during Ramadan.
Biryani is great throughout the year. Try their famous mutton dum biryani which is typical hyderabadi style biryani. Its awesome! Tandoori items are overall good.
Ambience of the restaurant is not at all good and restroom stinks. Better to takeaway food than to dine-in.

Not quite well going with the name, this dish served would rather be referred to as flavoured rice with fish and prawn curry.
However, it tastes quite good despite the odds. The choice of sea food is just amazing! Delicately cooked fish cubes and delicious shrimps! Juicy and tender!

the rating i gave is for their biryani both chicken and mutton. One of the most delicious biryani i had was from here, complete bombay style biryani. I usually have it on fridays and they have "buy 1 get 1" offer, i dnt know if it is applicable for all days, but yes it is applicable for fridays.
Tandoori fish fry for starters, Bombay Chicken Biryani for mains and Masala papad for accompaniment at Pista House, Bangalore!
The fish was tender and fresh. The Biryani tasted good and the papad went well with the Biryani. Unfortunately, they ran out of desserts and I couldn't get their iconic "Double ka meetha."

Visited this restaurant ystrdy.. it was just fingerlicking yummmmmmy.. must order mutton chops, rasmalai, barbeque prawns , angara chicken and bombay biryani is just fab. . I've never eaten such yummy biryani.
And prawns are best tenderly barbecued , and big in size too ..Other places prawns are too small nd prices are too high. But here it was just worth the price...and must try the malai chops... they were well cooked ...nd so soft tat it melted in d mouth

Decent place for some andhra fare. With dark and shady interiors, the fact that it was deserted even on a saturday afternoon speaks for its lack of footfall in recent times.
Some good biryani reviews compelled us to try the place, so there we were. A full Chicken Tandoori and Mutton biryanis were on order. The service was ok, one of the boys had no clue as to what was on the menu, although the food arrived well within 15 mins of order.
The Tandoori was succulent, tasty and perfectly grilled. Biryani was ordinary, considering its hydrabadi competition in the city which have a lot more to offer regarding taste. Quantity though was huge for one.
Food is OK, they could revamp the looks of the place to attract more customers. Seafood is also their speciality, can try that next time.

Haven't been here but have tasted the Pista House Haleem and become a fan of it! The Haleem is superbly cooked with adequate amount of mutton(with bones), spices and ghee for a long time..
U can taste it in every spoon of the Haleem. The extra topping of lime, pudina and fried onions just adds to the flavour.
This comes in a neatly packed box.

Specially went there to taste haleem on the last day of ramadan. Had tasted mutton haleem and it was heavenly. Also asked for biriyani but as we were informed it would take time to prepare the same, we thought of trying it some other day.
The food is out of this world. We tried the haleem (I'm not a big fan of spicy meat paste) the quantity was a bit underwhelming too. The kebabs were really great, hot, spicy and fried crisp. But what really separated pista house from the rest for me was the mutton biryani. I hate about half and parcelled the rest. And it was alright. The next afternoon I tried the biryani again and it was the best mutton biryani I have eaten so far, it was spicy and flavoursome. Like nothing I had ever tasted.
There are some places which are famous and with going only for a particular dish. #Pistahouse is one of them where you can walk in blindly and order #Haleem and their succulent #MuttonBiryani. When i visited zaitoon n paradise i seen wall advertisments of thier special haleem. Basically i m nt mutton fan, If you want to taste haleem , you should try authentic mutton one.so i decided to go to pista house, this is world famous. Seriously it was yummy , different experince. From the first time eating itself i loved haleem . Its basically healty dish with mutton bones n meat along with mints flavour. From this joint. I got one experienced hyderbad foodie, he explained the process of making haleem. Its a goat meat without head . Rest all the parts they put on for making , melt for 8 hours . And the ghee and powders from hyderbad itself . Even chef also from hyderbad. If you looking for a try haleem.Try from this place. Strongly recommended. If you missed haleem this ramdan , U need to wait one year more to eat. Its usually prepare on ramdan time.

Planning for another visit..
Went on a rainy evening. Ordered mutton briyani and chicken boti kabab. The briyani was very very good. Felt like having briyani from Hyderabad. Just loved it. The aroma and the way it melts in the mouth is different feeling. A must try dish. One can visit this place just for briyani itself. Boti kabab was also good. Try with the green chutney.
My first experience with Pista house was not great. However I tried my luck again and it was really good. I can recommend their tandoori chicken and Kalmi kebab. I remember to give a special instructions not to make the kebabs or the tandoori oily and spicy and it turned out to be really nice.

Delicious lip smacking mutton ghee roast. Couldn't taste their famous Mutton Biryani because of its unavailability but we were very satisfied with their chicken biryani. Authentic, loaded with flavour and a treat to the eyes define their food. We are also yet to taste their haleem. I already have high expectations from this place.
If you are visiting this place , then there are certain prerequisites . The most important one is that you have to let go of your thoughts on your weight , cholestrol, diet etc etc ...otherwise you might feel guilty while devouring the authentic mughlai food which is served here .

I've toured almost all the food streets in the city during Ramadan. But none of them could even closely compare to the Haleem that is served here. It is lip smacking amazing. Mutton Biryani takes my second favourite spot. Place ain't a lot fancy but doesn't really matter coz of the Haleem they got. Gets heavily overcrowded and inadequate seating arrangements is a downside
Not a very fancy place to eat. But if you LOVE food this is totally the place to be! The boneless chicken biryani is to die for. Better than Meghana biryani! Tandoori is amazing too. The food has a nice Hyderabadi flavor to it. The green tangdi kabab was not that great. And the chicken in chicken tikka was not very tender. But in all great food. Very reasonably priced. And they have a home delivery too!

Biryani here is good they serve you pure Hyderabad style dum biryani with ghee cooked and also i have taste kabbabs and tandoori chicken it tastes very good.

Awesome briyani ! Tried boneless and normal chicken briyani. It was the first authentic hyderabadi preparation that i had in bangalore (Ya, I'm yet to explore). Lemon chicken wasn't great.

Place situated at the beginning of Meat lovers paradise "Frazer town" is a pretty great place to have some amazing Piping hot Biryani or mouth watering kebabs. Very compact place it will almost go unnoticed due to the unlit boards. With service room also on the first floor. We took our place on 1st floor ambience is ordinary with lot of pictures of fish covering the walls. The service was good and prompt they took around 20 minutes to serve. Coming to the food everything we ordered was great. We ordered Butter garlic Nan which was great topped with butter I guess. Was fresh crispy and nice. Kalimirch chicken the spicy chicken cooked with chillies and pepper was amazing was really spicy went down well with Nan. Sultani kebab was well done tandoori version of thier kebab. was really amazing and the main thing from there was the Mutton Biryani in form of the family pack. Biryani was hot piping and fresh the meat blended which ran through the rice perfectly with the piece. One of the best Biryani I have task tasted in Bangalor taste. Brilliant!!!! And how can we forget the excellent Haleem they give us every year and is one of my personal favorites.

Located on the busy MM Road, its really easy to find this place. It goes by the name Pista House but has a board named Aquarium too. Dropped in here with parents on a rainy evening. Had heard a lot about this place from relatives so we were eager to try their menu. This place was previously known as Aquarium and now since Pista House took over, they've continued to have the former's menu as well--this was something nice I found about them.
Coming to the food, we ordered king fish fry which was served with green chutney. It was cooked just right and was spicy, perfect for a rainy evening. Next we ordered Prawns Ghee Roast which was a semi gravy and we had wheat parathas to go with prawns. I must confess, they serve the best ghee roast in town. The fragrance and the taste were simply exquisite. This is a must try item at Pista House. We then ordered the Prawns Biryani which wasn't really up to the mark and could've definitely been better. We felt it was too dry and lacked the right seasoning and texture.
Apart from their Biryani and their lazy waiters, I loved everything about this place. The waiters are lost in their own world and need to be attentive.
Will definitely visit again. :)
Pista house is one of the most talked eatery when it comes to MM road I wanted to take my doggy pack so I ordered biryani and chicken kofta curry which was great but biryani was not so good the place is not where I would sit and eat it looked unclean and my doggy pack took more than45 mins otherwise it's ok such mistakes don't repeat is what I trust.
The pista haleem was the only haleem i njoyed ever... sooo tastyyyy.!!! Folks u shud try that once... also tried tandoori chicken.. thatsl was not into my taste.. but stll it was good

My tryst with Haleem began not too long ago. A colleague introduced me to this slow cooked absolute delicacy from Pista House during a work trip to Hyderabad. The soft gooey melt in the mouth meat and wheat delicacy tinged with lime juice was an instant hit. After that, have had Haleem from various places over the years but nothing came close to what they make at Pista House.

My rating is for the Haleem that I absolutely love. It is a must have for any foodie who loves non veg. The perfect mix of wheat, small pieces of mutton with lots of garam masala, rose petals and ground together is simply heavenly. Pista house has been in list of hotels to visit since a year. Finally me and my wife decided to visit the place in rainy days of June just before Ramazan. Few of my office colleagues joined too. Believe me the hotels are best to visit during Ramazan days.
Arrived at this place early round 7.30 in the evening expecting it to be crowded since it was first time. Luckily place was empty and we were the first guests.
Now let's talk about food. I was eagerly looking to come to Pista House because of its signature dish during Ramzan days i.e. HALEEM. Believe me this was my first attempt of eating Haleem and I loved it!! They served the Haleem in their retail pack and did warmed in oven before serving us. The first spoon I had the taste was just awesome with rich flavours of meat floating in ghee with lots of dry fruit flavours churned into the meat. Me and my wife were savouring the entire Haleem. Guys never miss Haleem at pista house.
We also ordered chicken angaare kabab which was well marinated and tasted yum.
Food quality was at its best. The only concern was the ambience which was mediocre but if you are going for only food then you shouldn't complain of the ambience.

Tried the Chicken biriyani here and it was great. The chicken hariyali kabab was a little dry and hence disappointing. But I would try their other dishes soon.

Located on MM Road it is quite easily traceable. The Ambiance of the place is decent and they have a two level seating area. We opted for the one upstairs which is quite and less noisy.

Ordered Butter Naans, Prawns Deep Fry, Prawns Garlic Pepper, Chicken Red Roast and Dum Ka Chicken.
The UPsides are:- Good quantity, Good amount of chicken and prawns in the dishes. Also the Prawns were amazingly good.
The DOWNsides are:- naans were chewy, Dum Ka Chicken is another name for Butter Chicken and the Prawns Garlic Peppper had like around 50 -60 corns of Black Peppers.
their haleem n double ka mitha is worth making the trip to frazer town. biriyani is quite good too. a must visit during the season of ramadan.

Excellent tandoori chicken! After trying a bunch of places in the area, I'd declare the one served here as the best. Made my week (had 3 bad experiences from moriz and queens). The hint of lemon and just the right amount of spices reminded me of home, and it was succulent without being oily.
The food was incredible, reminded me of home food and left me craving for more. Haleem was absolutely delicious. Qubani ka Meetha was something I had never tasted before. It has a very distinct flavor of raisins and apricot and is undoubtedly a rare gem among the desserts served in all of Bangalore. The dum biryani tasted quite legit too and you could sense the Hyderabadi aroma as soon as you open the box.
This is a go to place every year during the month of Ramzan. I have been having Haleem here since years and its arguably the best Haleem in Bangalore as the molten meat has acquired flavours from the light spices. My recommendation for Haleem in Bangalore is PiSta House. I also see lots of places selling Pista House Haleem I have not tasted them but This beach certainly elevates your Haleem Experience. Value for money 3.5/5, Service 2.5/5, Taste 4.5/5 and Ambiance 3/5.
Ordered haleem, tandoori chicken and rumali roti via swiggy. They delivered within 30 mins which was really surprising from a place which is always crowded that too during Ramadan days. The haleem was excellent and the tandoori chicken was decent if not great. The rumali rotis were little hard though. Would love to visit the restaurant soon.

First off, the actual location is opposite to Torcente Yamaha n next to Al Zara Mandi on MM road.
It's an under construction building currently so not many advertising boards here to immediately notice, just a banner reading that the Pista House Haleem is available.
Had my doubts about the accuracy of this location n always had the outlet in front of Carry Fresh mart as an alternative which was also open.
But found out after visiting here that they have couple of tables to sit and eat there itself.
So decided to try 1 there n ordered 1 for takeaway.
Cost for 300ml is Rs.250.
Visited around 4 pm n the haleem tasted hot n fresh.
Really loved the taste, mutton was delicious n the fried onions, mint n lime just added more flavour to the spices used.
I feel it deserves every bit of the hype n I'm so glad that they've opened after a hiatus of 2 years due to the covid. This will now top my list of yearly visits during Ramzan.

Hardly to find the store, address wrong in map. Search 5star chicken or albert bakery in map,you will find orginal pista house just opp to the land mark. Its a new construction building.
