Landed accidentally here, I couldn't stop ordering the dosas, the masala dosa or one of its variations. It's not supposed to be a main dish, but one order would always fill me up; the dosas are wonderfully thin.
The restaurant does not serve alcohol, which is fine with me since I don't drink (they have great Lemonade).
Gobi Manchurian is a must try.Crispy crunchy cauliflower floret deep fried and sauteed in freshly prepared chinese sauce which will make you drool while u see it.
Price:500 for two
Place for quick bites. Was amazed by the taste of their Dahi Vada , which is definitely a must try. The orange juice and chola bhatura is also lip smacking. They have open area which is sometimes surrounded by few flies and service is not that prompt. But full marks for food taste and quality. Definitely one of the better street food cafe.
Located on the busy Residency Road. This place is our favourite choice for short eats, just for those small hunger pangs.
We usually go here after 9pm, so that there's easy parking.
I like the colorful decor, simple, no frills ambience. Order at the counter, pick up ur order in 5-10mins max. Find a table to sit, we prefer the outside tables, to watch traffic chaos n enjoy the yummy food.
We've tried Pav Bhaji, Sev Puri, Chilli Paneer etc. Never left disappointed. Since this is a food court concept, prices are lesser compared to their other branches.
Quality, quantity, taste, everything is good here.
Looking for a quick food place, u should try this one
Shiv sagar express located just opposite to ritz carlton is a bliss for north Indian ! Mostly crowded has a outside seating facility too ! The place is not that clean and hygiene
Nice little place for cospolitan menu to quench your hunger pangs..... busy road with I guess no parking facility. Just loved the coconut chutney which is unlike most of the udipi darshini that offer in Bangalore... a short walk for all your needs...could be pricy for few of the things...
This is a nice small restaurant where we sometimes stop here for breakfast. The spring dosa served here is delicious. Food is served promptly it's one of the best places to grab a quick bite when you are on Residency Road. They serve a variety of dosas, chaats and other snacks.

One stop for all chat lovers .. not much variety available but whatever is served is tasty .. it is like oasis of chats in the desert of bangalore where you hardly find tasty chat items... Quite short on space but worth visiting
Bit high on pockets but offers good quality and quantity. Has lots of options to choose from. In a prime location but an issue with parking is evident
First of all facilities of parking is really good being on road side.so passing through the road was bit hungry looking for the place where i can have good chole bhature being punjabi all time favourite food.so saw this place which was the only one open around 11pm .quickly enter the place its a self service place just ordered Chole bhature finally got that it was yummy n delicious well done with spice level then later on had kasar pista kulfi yummilecious great experience everything is perfect.

Went here with a noisily churning tummy after a day full of exertion. Though we were expecting a cheaper dinner based on Zomato price ratings, were weren't disappointed with what was offered.
Located right off of Residency Road, RS Shiv Sagar leads you to its first-floor dining area through an appealingly-constructed flight of stairs (couldn't take a picture that quite captured it). The décor is kept simple and classy, and the place has a comforting ambience that helps you set right in.
I can emphatically say that the food is good. We had ordered butter/garlic roti, some pulao, a Punjabi side to go with it, and a dish of bread and potatoes baked with corn and beans. The Indian dishes were all decent. However, it's the baked potatoes that stayed in my mind - being the first time I had tried a continental dish like that, I wasn't sure what to expect, and was pretty much leaving my dinner to the hands of fate that night. When it arrived, it looked quite small; upon eating, though, it proved to be more than sufficient. Sruthakeerthi Mohan Ram
On the busy residency road , this has a different look of cafe. Veg sandwich at 100 was quite ok . They haveChinese dishes , it's not so good. Kulfi is awesome. When we move to coffee from work to this place, coffee was almost all the time bad. Chats is also good.
Went here when I had the munchies, and was in a hurry as well. The variety here is insane, and I ordered a burger, which was filling. Came with fries. My friend ordered some chat, which was nice as well. It's clean and the ambience is very colorful. Fast service as well, great prices.
Good food.. But tiny little place to serve at that Good food. Meals are quite filling and all good served at a reasonable rate. French fries, bread cheese pakoda, chaats, chai, strawberry cream are all the must try ones. Self service counters neat and we'll maintained place.
Like a hungry tourist - used google to find place to have a late lunch. As our hotel was nearby, this was an easy one...
The place is reasonably spaced - does not have too much seating and sometimes you can share your table with 6 others. I guess its in such a busy office area that food is eaten on the move.
We ordered the Pav Bhaji, Aloo tikki chat, Onion Bhajias and coffee. Everything was good.
The pav bhaji was perfect and almost tasted like it was made in Mumbai, the pavs are too tiny so order some extra in advance. Aloo tikki chaat was good - the chaat sauce should have been more flavourful. The best and shining star was the onion bhajiyas - it was wonderfully done - freshly made and hot off the stove - crisp and you could just eat it on and on... The coffee is good - as you would expect Mysore filter coffee.
Service is very good and quick - prices are reasonable - and its fast food
Good food, nice ambience, and great staff. Ordered red pasta, mushroom noodles and thali . Everything tasted great. Plus it is easy in the pocket. Only problem is with the limited seating available here. Definitely worth a visit

Place :
- Its located on Residency Road
- Place is Clean, has Tables on the Outside which is Spacious where as a Little Conjusted on the Inside (Tottaly Managable)
- They have bright coloured Chairs for their tables which gives a quirky look to the establishment.
- I visit this place usually, Have so far ordered
Apple Milkshake (Rs. 70)
- Rs. 10 extra if its takeaway
- Tastes very very good actually, I'm particular about my Favorites and here they make it worth the price.
- Quantity is large enough to make you skip a meal.
Baby Corn Manchurian ( Rs. 100)
- Very happy with the Quantity, two people can manage to eat it comfortably
- Baby corns were tasty and Crispy
French Fries (Rs. 50)
- I was very excited to try them as they are pretty inexpensive
- The Quantity was good
- They were not Crisp, Very soft and Soggy, Also tasteless
- I had to go home and Pop them up on a Pan and make them crispy.
- I also observed that no matter what you order, be it a Juice or a Dish, it always takes them atleast 10 mins to Serve
Overall, Its a nice place to visit

This is one of the quick eat places which is quite popular in the Residency Road area. It is surrounding by many corporates offices, finance firms, school and I think it is almost located in the centre of the city. Well, I have been to this place number of times to grab a quick bite. But then there is one of these days I went with my family to have a dinner. Coz we wanted to try some chaats and have a quick eat. Let me share my experience.
Ambiance
A place that is small but has sufficient place for nearly 50 people to either sit or stand and eat. It for sure is popular for people to take coffee/juice and have it just outside the restaurant.
It has an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared can be seen.
Each of the dishes like chaat, rice items, paratha, juices are made in separate section. Though it is small, each of the sections are well segregated.
They have 4 seater tables which have normal seats and nothing fancy.
Food
This is a place that is quite popular among people. And for sure the popularity can come when the taste of the food is quite consistent and good. I have tried plenty of items here, let me share my experience.
Paav Bhaji (Cheese / Kadai Veg / Jain)
Each of the Paav Bhaji were different and good in their own ways.
Cheese had the flavours coming in from the cheese and the bhaji was done very well.
Kadai veg had multiple veggies and masalas added in them which tasted really good.
Jain was the one that did not have any items like Onion, Potato but it tasted quite good.
Masala Puri and Sev Puri
Both chaats were well done. The main ingredient the masala was quite good in all both chats that I had.
Aloo Paratha
This was well done and served with some Chana subji. The paratha was well coked and did not have excess of anything in it. I enjoyed the flavour of the ingredients that were added in it. It was served with raita, salad and bit of pickle.
Tawa Pulao
This is one of the street food items where in the rice is cooked and then put on a tawa. The veggies and masala are mixed along with rice. The taste of the tawa pulao is quite good as a street food but I think it tasted quite good when we had it at this restaurant.
Overall Experience
I was quite impressed with most of the items that were served at this restaurant. It may not have been out of the world but then I think it was consistent in terms of taste and flavours. Hopefully the taste remains the same. My current rating for this place is 3.5/5.
Rating in other departments.
Food – 3.5/5
Service – 3.5/5
Ambiance – 3.25/5
Food for 2 at this place would cost anywhere between INR300-400 considering you would be having dinner here.
The service is excellent.. Coming to food, taste was to good and hygienic. The prices were affordable to. Some of the best dishes were chilli cheese bread, Nutella cheese sandwich, chole batture, garlic bread, oreo chocolate shake and paneer roll
Had been here for the evening snacks. Nice ambience. Service was very slow and staff was laid back. Had strawberry with cream, veg cheese pakoda, coffee and tea. Price was also ok.

RS Shiv Sagar!
The well known chain restaurants in the city making a good name since enough years. They have South, North, Continental Cuisines in their outlets.
This outlet is located on Residency Road, opp to Indo - American Specialist Chamber.
Headed around 2 in the noon for lunch, they have a very wide range of variates like Sabki Maan Pasand, Bread Ki Bahar, Combo Meals, Chats, Cold Chats, Garam Garam Parathas, Combination Paratha, From the west, Pizza, Burger, Falooda, Natural Fruit Juice, Milkshake, Dry Fruits Milkshakes, Lassi, Fresh Fruit Salad, Creamy Dessert, Bombay Stick Kulfi, Ice-cream and Hot Beverages.
Ordered Special Combo Meals, which had 1 Chat item, 2 Pulkha, Vegetable Palau, Raita, Dal, Panner Butter Masala. Meal was worth for the pay, it was served within 5 min, which was hot.
Ordered Fruit Salad with ice-cream too, which was cold served and yummy.
Infrastructure was eye-catching, but the restaurant cleanliness was not upto the mark, tables were stinking.
Management shoukd concentrate on the ambience and cleanliness too.
Planning to head soon to try other items from the menu.
Any vegan will know about shiv sagar . This place is quiet tachy , right next to a busy road . Dosa, idli , poori , vada 😋 strong coffee.....👌 .
Best place to head for a date with you're mate.
Ambiance on point for the duo's privacy,
Must tuck in the Bread cheese pakodas and From the West Paneer roll with complimentary fries goes well.
And totally worth the money.
An okey dokey place, if you wanna have like typical north Indian and south indian dish types at anytime of the day? Then this place seems to have just fulfilled your tummy's need for the day 😉
Nothing fancy or nothing smart about the place and taste wise? It's as any other Shanti Sagars
This is a good place to try north indian snacks in Bengaluru. It serves only vegetarian food. If you are looking for good Dhokla, Chhole bhatura or indo chinese food, then this is the place.
Everytime I need to go and ask for where is my other food this need to improved othrwise taste is bit spicy and the ambienece is ok ok
