Black pearl is situated in Koramangala is pleasant treat for anyone who is into themed restaurants. Fans of the brilliant movie franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean", would immediately know what the theme is, just with the name of the hotel. It's got a pirate ship themed set up, with pirate statutes and skeletons lying all over the place. An absolute fun set up for sure.
Coming to the important aspects, the food was good. The menu had very similar dishes to that of barbeque nation with the same starters and the same barbeque style set up. Delicious food and very good service as well. A good variety of desserts which, you guessed it, are pirate themed. There is also a grill and pizza live corner.
The set up is perfect for a good get together with a group of friends to drink and enjoy and maybe sing some sea shanties as well!
The only downside was that it did seem a bit not clean enough. It's a very ambitious ambience and decor, but the maintenance seemed to have been not done well enough. I personally just took it optimistically and pictured it to be a wrecked pirate ships interior!
Overall, a great fun experience!

Parking for two wheeler can be a pain and you might have to park on the streets along the border.
Coming to the food, The starters served before the grill are pretty good. The grill itself was ok, the prawns and chicken were a bit bland and could have been better. I tried one of their pirate themed beverage bora bora which was pretty good and my favorite part of the meal were the desserts. The staff were polite and eager to help.
The ambience is cool for a pirate themed place, but the ventilation could be better and there were loud noises from the club beneath it.
The buffet price varies based on the day and the time you go there, so plan your visit accordingly. Overall a good experience.

My recent visit to Black Pearl left me with a mixed impression. The buffet they offered was decent, with a good variety of items spanning different styles and cuisines. It was a group outing to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we appreciated the extensive selection. The theme of the restaurant was well maintained and unique, adding to the overall experience. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary birthday cake they provided, and the inclusion of free cocktails with the package was a nice touch. While I wouldn't label it an absolute must-visit, I would recommend giving Black Pearl a try for a unique dining experience at least once.
We had a great family dinner. We didn't know the food concept which was meats that were brought to the table along with other appetizers. So we pretty much filled up on that. Then the server mentioned that there was a chat live station on the ground floor along with a big dinner buffet. Had we known about the dinner buffet we wouldn't have filled up on the appetizers.
The place is a little old but well maintained... still we can see the cracks here and there. The food was good. The service was good though lacks that theme spirit. We went with our 7 year old they bought in fries and Sweets for him... which made his day. Not a very kid friendly place though, the theme was pirate so we expected some thing for the kids but were disappointed on that count. Everything else is good.
A great place to celebrate birthdays with big gang of family and friends... its a buffet system with a barbecue set up lots of variety on food.. service was great! Food was very nice there was alot of variety on desserts also... drinks we will have to order separately it doesn't include in the package.. worth the money
There was nothing extraordinary when it comes to food but it wasn't bad either. So food was good and the ambience was great. The staff there weren't much cooperative and were way above their heads. Deserts were good and barbeque was also good. Overall for the price it was a good experience except for the staffs there. It was clean and hygenic as well. So people who are bored with Barbecue nation can definately give it a go
It’s a best place to have drink and food in a good price. Non veg buffet starters r good . The main dish is worst . But we should have desserts to fulfill them 🤙😜😋
Amazing buffet restaurant. A unique experience. The food was amazing, starters were well prepared, barbeque and main course was equally good. Must attend the street food festival going on. Ambience and decoration was beautiful. Will definitely visit again!! The staff was extremely friendly and service was fabulous!
A worthy place for a theme driven dining ambience... Starters are great.. The spread is not as vast at times. However being a repeat customer, I haven't been disappointed but for their highly diluted cocktails.. Else all good
Went for corporate dinner. Service was awesome. We took buffets. Options was great. Lots of option. In non veg and sea food they have lots of options like crab, prawn. They have live exotic grills also. Pastas, pizzas, everything were there.
However, mocktails taste was not that good
Even food taste could be a way better.
Tables and spaces are bit connected for buffet.
Desert options were quite limited.
Cost effective buffet compared to AB’s and Nation. But yes there hosting and tastes are far better.
Compact but a nice ambience. Starters, pizza, dessert and main course were excellent. Service was impeccable.
Only gripe we had is that chat corner served spoiled dahi. And general ingredients in chaat seemed old. We went to lunch buffet at 2.30pm, so i dont know why.
Overall a nice experience
They have a huge variety of food and desserts, like non veg bbq starters, veg was below average, they have different type of vibe and ambience looks old but well maintained. Really liked dessert section
