Very reasonable and without quality being compromised.
The best thing I love about their biryani is the chicken being non-fibrous unlike certain other places where most of the chicken pieces are left untouched due to the fibrous meat.
The taste is awesome and enjoyable for a reasonable price and I love the place and they give very fast pickup but no tables to sit and eat

An awesome place to have quality food.
They have a menu which changes regular, which is an incredible thing.
The atmosphere is acceptable and the administration is great , you get delightful nati style food here and Ragi mudde and chicken dishes are an absolute necessity attempt here.
The biryani is normal and the chinese kheema ball was not incredible.

Never have I ever enjoyed biryani until I ate in Papanna's. This eatery runs their business in a house. And they're biryani tastes like home made food. My tastebuds always await Papanna's Biryani. Taste at its best! Everyone who lives biryani, must visit this place!
Decent Biryani and Kebabs. Felt the prices were a bit expensive for such a place. If they lower their prices they might attract more crowd also only take aways.
Good take away Biriyani place. Mutton kheema balls and chicken pepper dry/sholay are very good. Biriyani I would say is not excellent but good. Hygiene could be an issue but can be ignored since most of the take away places are like this - next to dust filled and traffic laden streets.
Good for a biryani. It is a bit spicy. The cocktail kabab and the gravies are good additions. Quick service and very good for packing food. A good joint .

With my never ending craving for Donne biriyani in bangalore , did my level best to try as many places possible . Here I had chicken and mutton donne biriyani , lemon chicken and sholay chicken . Opted for take away , the place was pretty crowded though was a early evening on a weekday . Got my food ready within 20 mins which was quite fast. Staff cheerful and courteous. Donne biriyani was lovely with the apt spices and loved the lemon chicken better than sholay chicken

The food is prepared fresh and served hot, which I feel makes it stand apart from the rest if the eateries in the area. The portions per plate are pretty decent as well. Wish this place was closer to where I stay!

I have been to this joint and called a couple of times for home delivery. My favourites are the biryani, lovely chicken, kheema balls, lemon chicken and the sholay kebab. All in all good food and easy on the pocket.
Papannas is one of my favourite places for Biriyani. Always consistent, full of flavour. And a huge spread of starters. My favorites are the chicken and egg Sholay, keema and the lemon chicken. Never disappoints.
The reasons we love small eateries are many, however for us it is the homely food, attention to detail and the missing brouhaha. Papanna's biryani is one such eatery. Their mutton kheema balls and biryanis wins the heart of the snobbiest foodies. This place will leave you wanting for more.
Finally tasted some extremely good and authentic Biryani this side of town. They have a nice small outdoor set up so you can have a look at everything before you buy it. We had the Chicken Biryani , the Kheema balls and the Kebabs . Biryani was really good , not too oily and a perfect balance of flavors , Kheema balls slightly crisp on the outside and soft in the inside, an absolute melt in your mouth dish and the kebabs were full of flavor and nice and crisp. Hoping to see a few more branches hopefully close to Frazer town. Awesome stuff keep it up.
Went to this place recently... The biryani is not like the usual commercial ones you get, but actually has an authentic flavour, which is what is extremely good about this place. Moreover, the Mutton Keema Balls are worth every bite. A must have item at Papanna's Biryani.
Went to this place in Basaveshvara Nagar, tried the Chicken lolipop and Chicken Biryani, The rice was basmati which was surprising for such a low price and the chicken was yummy and juicy . The flavour was not too much , not too less , just Right :) will visit this place again soon :)
Firstly, We opted for a take away. Suggested by a lot of friends the biryani did taste different and good. There was not a single chicken piece in the biryani which was actually a lil disappointing in spite of the taste. The chicken lollipop was yummy. Sholay chicken was extremely spicy.
Good place for take away . Chicken starters and gravy was very good .. Tried the sholay kabab, pepper chicken and chicken chops gravy. Quantity & price are worth it. Mutton biryani was average but quantity was good
Good spicy food . The lovely chicken has the best taste also the lemon chicken. mouth watering egg sholay with roti is just brilliant. Totally the best place for egg lovers and non vegetarian
The food tastes really good. My personal favourite is sholay chicken. Quick service. Hygienic. The place looks clean as well. Tandoori is a good addition to the already existing tasty looking menu.

Great place for all non-veg lovers. Biryani is really good. Starters are also very tasty. However the quantity of the starters is something which you can argue about but nevertheless it is one place you don't want to skip.
All I can say is yummy Biryani, Sholay kabab😋 a perfect craving after the rain is to try this place for sure. Well cooked and the service is fast. To those hardcore non-veg eaters a must try here. All over a blissful experience ☺️ wud love to visit here again!
The food is yum. The place was crowded on a week day people waiting to pick their food. Parking on that road is a challenge; however, it's worth it. We did a take away. There is dining too behind the counter where you order. It's a house converted into dining space. The place is nice and clean, hygienic. All waiters and helpers dressed in pappanna uniform with disposable head gears . The starters are prepared once you place your order. A open kitchen so to say...
We decided on Pudhina kabab, lovely chicken, and chicken biryani. The starters were nice, juicy, and yum. No complaints. The biryani I guess was made earlier elsewhere, old see the big pot in front. Long grain basmati was used. Good chcken pieces, delicious. Overall value for money. Will go back to try other dishes on the menu.
New place which has different types of starters and the biryani is Pretty yum . The value for money is very good which is reasonable. I would recommend this place for non-veg lovers exclusively.

I love Biryani. I've had biryani in a number of places. On a Sunday, we went to the place. Its a very small place. More like a food stall in a very small room. There's only place for the reception and the kitchen. It looks more like a bakery shop. We didn't expect much from the place. There isnt place for you to sit. You can only take a parcel from there. When we ate the biryani it was like heaven. The biryani is to die for. I personally don't like the side dishes here. There's one chicken side dish which is green in color. Its masala is like that of pudina chutney. Some might like it. My sister liked it very much. It depends on your taste. Not my cup of tea though. But the Biryani You MUST try.

Biriyani was good. But the quantity of starters is a little less. If you have to compete with Aditya hotel (opposite nandini theater) you need to work a lot. Improve on the consistency, quantity and get the pricing right.

After going through the review and photos i thought of giving a try. I was not disappointed the Biryani was really good with unique taste. I would surely recommend to try there Biryani. Lemon chicken was good but i expected natural lemon to be added to it for flavoring but they use artificial flavour. Overall Pocket friendly and good Taste.
A small decent and hygienic place if you are a connoisseur of spicy food. The taste is excellent and value for money. I ordered dry meat balls and lovely chicken. Both the dishes were extremely spicy and good to taste with right mix of spices. Would advise them to have some medium spicy dishes on their menu to cater to that segment of customers. Overall a good experience.
Biryani isn't something that's found easily in the neighbourhood, or it's what I feel! We were regulars at Biryani Mane and when Papanna's was opened, it was one of the happiest news I heard :) After few days, I finally got a chance to try this place and Mutton wasn't available on the menu, which is a bummer! Anyhow we settled for chicken items, ordered biryani, sholay chicken and lemon chicken. Biryani wasn't that great, lemon chicken was usual but the sholay chicken was a great treat to the buds - the flavours were just right and perfect marination. The outlet is best suited for takeaway, as it hosts only a couple of seats. The staff are friendly in approach, and most of the side dishes are prepared once it's ordered. Parking is bit of a problem as it's main road and near to a junction. I would surely be back for more sholay chicken and to try new dishes!
There's a new seating area for about 30 people, welcoming more to dine along with takeaway!
I was waiting for them to open shop and finally got the time to try their food today. Even though they mention on Zomato that they offer home delivery, they still haven't kick started that yet.
I ordered the biriyani (how can I miss that!) And Andhra style Guntur chicken and chicken chilli kabab. Everything was worth the buck. Spice levels were generous. Quantity was good too. They still didn't have quite a few items mentioned on their menu, but it can be ignored now given that they're still in the teething phase. There was quite a crowd too!
All in all a great first experience. Hope they only get better from here. Cheers!
A new take out restaurant. Fantastic south indian starters for the carnivore. Great place to have a quick meal. Must try the kheema ball fry and lemon chicken. Nice biryani as well. Super value for money, a meat centered meal for 2 cost us around 300.
It's a take away joint and also do home delivery. Amazing food!! Must try andhra chilli chicken ,lemon chicken ,chicken chilli and of course biriyani!!
If you like spicy biryani then this is the place. Flavourful and spicy biryani with different varieties of side dishes available. Items are displayed on the counter. Soft drinks are also available. No seating arrangements, however there is place to stand and eat. Two wheeler parking available.

Awesome Biryanis, both mutton and chicken. Meat pieces were juicy and tender. Meat to rice ratio was good. I have tried mutton biryani, chicken biryani, kheema unde, and mutton fry. Every dish is drool worthy. It is a darshini type outlet. Choose take away if you want to enjoy with your family. Prices are reasonable.
