Most amazing experience i have ever been through.. if you love North Indian or Punjabi food. You will definitely revisit this place...The service is so good.. Loved it.. :) :)
Had been here on a weekday hence no crowd. They have good varieties of authentic punjabi food. Had a good overall experience. Their thali is amazing .
This is been our best Family outing restaurant for any occasion. It has a very simple and authentic Punjabi ambiance which is enjoyed by kids and is good for few DP's
We have been visiting this restaurant for last 3-4 years and we enjoy as family including my parents and kids and my brother. We normally visit this restaurant with minimum of 8 people and most have different taste and requirement which is well managed and served by the staff.
Kadai Chicken, Panner Butter masala, Kadak Naan, Butter Milk, Mutton Roganjosh, Kalmi kabab are few of my favorite of this restaurant.
Live music just add the another punch to this restaurant as my father and mother both start to sync in with music and also start singing as well.
Nice place for family time
Pure Punjabi style

Birthday parties are a real headache specially when you are tight on budget.
Punjabi Times helped me on my budget constraint. True punjabi style murals and decor is ao lively with live singing at weekend is lit. Couldn't ask for more than a great party for 10 people in buffet style with a discount on punjabitimes.co. Great place and great atmosphere provided by management.
I have always thought that great taste and budget of your food doesn't go together with each other, specially when it comes to us north indian food. But punjabi times is one of those restaurants which delivers great tasty food at an affordable rate by giving you discount.
I just love their wadi chawal and sev tikki, the portion is so heavy and hefty that you are so full you don't need to eat the next meal.
I just cannot ignore this restaurant whenever I visit bengaluru. You should try it too.
I have tried quite a lot North Indian cousine based restaurants in Bangalore but the ones which leaves an impression are very few.
Punjabi Times is the one that did the trick for me. The blend of spices and the aroma are still present in my mind.
During my trip I tried their food and their variety of pickles, true punjabi style murals and decor was just fantastic.
My personal favourites are Arbi Masala, Sev Tikki and their Naan Platter.
People missing Punjabi food this is the place for you....
Always buzzing with people, this restaurant serves authentic 'desi kahanna'. The service here is quick and they also have takeaways and great discounts.
I would recommend trying the thali which was very delicious and aslo aloo makai which would go perfectly with a butter naan.
Being a north indian you definitely miss the north indian cuisine when you are in South part of India for a week.
Same was the case with me. I was craving for that dal makhani and saag with naan breads but Punjabi Times saved me.
Trust me not only do they have north indian food but also serves a variety of pickles and buffet. Definitely reminds you of north indian cuisine. This place is a life saviour for those who live only on north indian food. This place is definitely a try out. Like a must 💯
How can I forget this place, when I was at bangalore I visited this Outlet as my friend suggested. Specialty of this Outlet is Serving desi type authentic Punjabi food like Sarso Ka saag, Butter Chicken, Daal Makhani. Here you will get good variations in thalis also. Apart from Authenticity, they have great lavish buffet spread with great options. I liked their Dal Makhani and butter chicken we had with Indian Breads like paratha and naan. If you are looking for private parties or something, then this Outlet have hall which can help you for same
This is an amazing place for authentic Punjabi style food. They have both veg and non-veg buffet system "Thoko Thali" where you get 22 different varieties. You really need to be patient for the food to come to your plate and sometimes might have to ask for more than once. The appetizers were well done.
Have been to this restaurant multiple times and they never disappoint. They are our day to day food saviour when we don’t cook. Food is fresh and authentic. Recently I felt they have some new staff in kitchen which even improvised quality of breads and soups.
Keep it up.

I will always come here when craving for some yummy north Indian food.
I have been here so many times, it feels like my second home... Any treat, any party and this becomes our venue... A great buffet at a very affordable price. The staff is mostly friendly and cooperative unless u go there at the tail end of the shift. The kitchen staff however can stive to be faster delivering the food as most times we have to sit for ages for the items to be served.
Altogether a good place for affordable buffet..
Fantastic food!
What i liked about the place was the ambiance and the impeccable service. The staff was on the move and the rush did not make them panic at all.

There was a live concert. Food was very tasty. Ambience was good. Service was good. The singer even went out of his league and sang a Kannada Song Just for us..

Definitely one for the archives. The interiors are very rustic and scream Punjab to anyone walking in which really does add to the experience. The servers and hosts are very polite and courteous, which only adds to the overall experience. The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic Punjabi food bursting with flavours that absolutely delight the palate. Order a lassi to compliment your meal of some hot naan and murgh makhanwala and finish off the deal with shahi tukde and you’re definitely going home a happy camper!
Whenever I crave good punjabi khana, I head to this place. They server authentic Punjabi food. Every dish is slathered with butter for the extra richness. If you are in bannerghatta road and looking for good food, you know where to go

Ambiance : 5/5

Service : 5/5
Value for Money : 5/5
The food was absolutely tasty and no complain about the food...... They were all tasty and satisfying... But the staff response and behavior dint go well while placing the order.... They dint allow to order any other thali Or ala carte if you had ordered 1 unlimited thali in ur table
Ambience - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 VFM - 5/5 Parking - No
My in laws were leaving soon and they had a mood for some Punjabi fare. A quick search on Zomato and we decided to try out this one near Shoppers Stop on BG Rd. They don't have a parking, and though I could spot a Valet board, it was unmanned.
The ambience is earthy and they've put up some life size dolls depicting village life. They've also put a working model of a 'Panchakki', which piqued my son's curiosity.
The staff were pleasant and orders were taken swiftly. We started with Aloo Corn Sev Tikki and Palak Papdi. As the name suggests, the former is Tikki made of potato and crushed corn, and coated sev. The Palak Papdi was very good, crisply fried and crumbly. It paired very well with the mint chutney.
We welcomed winter with Sarson Ka Saag and Makki Roti. The Saag was creamy and had a smoky aroma. Though the salt was a little less, it was easily fixed. Makki rotis was also made just right. What I missed was the Gur.
The other dish we tried, based on the waiters reco, was Paneer Rara. It was a kind of bhurji, with some garam masala and a slight hint of sweetness. I expected this this to be spicier, but it wasn't. This was paired with butter Roti and roomali roti, both of which were good.
Washed it all down with Lassi. Overall an enjoyable meal in a nice setting. Surely a hidden gem of Bannerghatta Road.
One of the best Punjabi restaurant's I've eaten from in Bangalore. Really good ambience. Variety of Lassi's to choose from. All in all a Must try!
Food was great... ambience is awesome....enjoy Raha panner and romali roti.....great taste.... Must be recommended for all person ....truely an good experience
Have been going there for the past 5 years and it has not disappointed me :). Been there with friends, family and its food as well as ambience have been really good. Kudos to the staff as well. Food has been really great. Especially pickled onions-absolutely love them.
Packing should be made more nicely
North Indian food are my fav forever!
So there was no way I was going to miss out on this place when its two mins walk away from my work place!
We had been over for lunch here two times already!
Now before you start of checking the pics for the dishes I mention, I didn't take any!
The ambience is dim lit with punjabi music on the go, so I focused on relishing the food enjoying the ambience rather take pictures.
Both the time we opted for thali! It's worth the money, getting a chance to try out so many varients. It was filling for sure.
Now I def do not remember all 21 dishes they served but few are worth mentioning!
- Tomato soup and Pani Puri Pani, both had good balance. It was simply yummy, no complications there.
- They have different starters for different days if I'm not wrong. Simple veg khabab coins or something made of baby corn, it was good enough.
- They serve a chaat of small portion, again enjoyable.
- Salad with corn/cucumber, good to munch on while we wait for food.
- Sweet dishes (Gulab Jamun and one more thing I dont happen to remember) decent and simple.
- Roti/Paratha as per preference along with two or three varients of curries/sabji/dal.
- Special mention of Dal Makani, I think this has been one place that has managed to provide a dish that actually makes sense to be Dal makani.
- Rice if need be.
This isn't it all! My manager did joke about having a count of all the dishes they serve but by the time it was all there, I had lost the count having been enjoying food!
This place is good to enjoy some good decent food.
Service is lil slow but they make sure they attend to all needs.
I may not remember all the dishes but def remember the experience and how fun it was!
Value for money: 4/5
This is a nice family place to eat.
All food items both veg and non veg taste good.
Service was adequate and staff was polite and prompt.
Awesome experience!
Must visit this place with your parents or friends.
PS: they place some amazing music which does enhance your experience.
This place is a hidden gem.
And I really hope it continues to stay awesome.
I ordered dal makahanni and biriyani. Both were excellent and huge in size. They arrived in time, hot and fresh. I would definitely eat here again.

Planning for a Sunday Lunch?
Punjabi Times is what we prefer and recommend ....
The staff were extremely nice and friendly.
Overall the perfect venue to spend Sunday afternoon.
Love to revisit.
My friends and I had a small get together at punjabi times today (13th sep). We all were shocked to see only us in the entire restaurant at 1:20 pm. Still with so much guts we entered the restaurant “as you all know if u enter an empty cloths shop, you see all the representatives approach you and try to help you” it was the same feeling at this restaurant too. So we ordered couple of dishes and they were delicious and the service was great. Please do visit this restaurant.
Food and Service was great .
Would like to come back here soon with more friends .
My whole family Enjoyed the food here
Definitely visiting this place again .
Punjabi Times is a Punjabi restaurant located in Bellandur, Bangalore. It has a vibrant, art-lined interior and an extensive meat, vegetarian, and drinks menu. The restaurant is known for its authentic Punjabi cuisine, which is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Some of the most popular dishes at Punjabi Times include the Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Dal Makhani, and Naan. The food is cooked to perfection and is served in generous portions. The restaurant also has a wide selection of cocktails and mocktails, which are perfect for a night out with friends or family.
The service at Punjabi Times is attentive and friendly. The staff is always happy to help you choose the perfect dish and answer any questions you may have. The restaurant is also very accommodating to dietary restrictions.
Overall, Punjabi Times is a great place to enjoy authentic Punjabi cuisine in a vibrant and stylish setting. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Punjabi Times to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Bangalore.
Here are some pros and cons of Punjabi Times:
**Pros:**
* Authentic Punjabi cuisine
* Fresh, high-quality ingredients
* Generous portions
* Wide selection of cocktails and mocktails
* Attentive and friendly service
* Accommodating to dietary restrictions
**Cons:**
* Prices can be a bit high
* Can be crowded on weekends
Overall, I would give Punjabi Times a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. It is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family.
More than food I really like the atmosphere proper authentic punjab feeling and while you are having your food listening to an amazing singer they have their own singer who sings most of the old songs which will definitely take you back to the memories sitting arrangements are also amazing
The service was slow, but that could be because we arrived early. It was nearly full by the time we left. Karaoke was being performed live. The singer was excellent. He knew the songs extremely well, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the legendary songs from the 80s that he sang. The main course was fine. The starter and dessert were both delicious. However, we enjoyed the evening because of the ambiance, particularly the live music.
Great food at reasonable rates for the quantity and quality. Service times can be a bit high during peak hours.
- Experience:
The preparation time however, is high and the billing etc was quick.
- Product pricing and quality -
The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of food served. You can expect to spend around ₹1200 for 2. I personally love the taste of their food for a long time.
- Space -
There is sufficient seating space available at the outlet.
- Ambiance -
The place has moderately cool lighting and is overall pretty aesthetic.
- Crowd -
The place was lightly crowded around 8 pm on weekends.
- Ease of access:
- Navigation accuracy -
The navigation was accurate via Maps but the rerouting is extensive if a turn is missed.
- Route preference -
There are multiple ways to arrive at the location and Maps can be trusted on most of the conditions.
- Wheelchair accessibility -
This place is not wheelchair accessible.
- Parking space -
Only roadside parking is available at the owner's risk, but that's the case with most places around this area.
Nice spot if you are looking for Punjabi / North Indian food along with drinks. Hearing the name we will think that it is a restaurant only but it is also included with drinks to and actually it is a resto bar. I ordered Mutton biryani, egg biryani, butter roti and panneer burji, chocolate brownie with icecream. All items were really good. Try this spot if you are traveling through Bellandhur- KR puram. Two wheeler parking is available and did no notice a dedicated parking space for cars/ big vehicles. This restaurant is just above Tipsy bull. Do try it and let me know your reviews and comments. Thanks!
This is a good restaurant to eat and savor North Indian food. And this had to be that go to restaurant for North Indian food of you live in Green Glen, Bellandur, or Iblur. The food is tasty. We ordered chicken manchow soup, mutton Rogan Josh, and chicken patiala. All were delicious and amazing. The prices are also commensurate to the amount they bring. Only thing I felt like was their meat pieces are small when compared to other restaurants like Dhaba Estd. 1986. That's the only complain I have. Their service is swift and on time. We got our food within 15 minutes of ordering. The staff is polite and friendly. A must visit restaurant in my opinion.
The food is delicious. The only con is the serving time is damn slow. It takes 25 mins min to serve the order!!

Really the food is fabulous. All the chicken varieties are very very good. Expect that Briyani. I think it's not pure Punjabi Briyani, that's a mess from them. Apart from dessert options are very less. And ice cream too. We can enjoy a meal not a complete Buffet. It's good for low budget Person with bulk people's treat.
Very limited options buffet but taste is good. You have to wait sometimes for food as if many people at same time they are taking some time to handle it.
Best for budgeted team lunches and parites.
Place is attractive and punjabi style decorations.
Couple of live counters available.
It's is really good for ala carte.well maintained though begin old.i was woth my teammates and it wasn't costlier either. Just 4k with food and drinks.ambience is good
Food here is tasty but be aware of their portioning, quantity of dishes is lower. . Ambience is okay but seemed to be due for a maintenance. Loved old hindi live karoake. Overall good dining experience.
