Whenever I am in Avenue Road I ensure I visit this restaurant. A small restaurant in the basement but worth every penny. My favourite here is the square rava idly with Sagi and chutney now served in a Areca leaf plate. I would say the tava idly here could compete with the best in Bangalore. Masala dosa is another favourite and consistent in taste as always. A very simple restaurant so don’t look for luxury but guarantee the food would be amongst the best in Bangalore. Limited seating available. A small place and cannot accommodate too many at a time with very basic interiors and space as well. Steps to be climbed to go down to the basement and no parking and facilities for specially challenged. A must visit for food lovers.

Really tasty food. The place looks quite clean. Too much to expect in this vicinity. The beast part of the good here is the fact that veggies were used generously in all items. You are hungry and you are somewhere close by then a visit is worth.

Food is the best. Local delicacies are very good. Place is old and a little small in area, cannot have food in peace. I loved carrot halwa, coffee, idly and sambar. One of the best places in chikpet. Nice pitstop for coffee, meals or snacks.

No Seating Facility to seat and have food, mostly we should stand and eat food, which is not so comfortable, but food quality is very good....

This place is crowded most of the times and offers food at a very reasonable price. Everything was delicious , a must recommend place after long hours of shopping.

I love open dosa of this place and one more item which I like the most is carrot halva (gajar ki halva) this is like amazing mouth-watering to me. I am visiting this hotel from more than a decade. This hotel is having good history they are running from More than 2 decades I think When ever I visit chikpet or avenue road for me this is a must visit place. When it comes to the quality of the food it is good in taste. Crowd is more when you visit in peak time you will see people there like they are serving for free. Prices are also affordable and I can say that value for money. One bad thing is cashier is not supportive 😕 they will not respond much for our queries.

Make sure to eat the rava Idili. It’s sooo good. Also bread toast, open dosa, and their Sambar is to die for. Make sure to get a coffee/chai and either the kesari bath or the carrot halwa to finish your delicious meal.
