It’s really tough to find places in Bangalore that serve amazing momos. I finally found this place in bel road near Ramiah college and checked it out.
Their manchurian momos was hands down the best I’ve had in Bangalore. Will definitely come back here for more 😍

Everybody talks about SNOW LION'S momos and noodles and thukpas and soup, But there's a dish I never get enough of, Dragon Chopsuey.
It's delicious, sweet, herbaceous, sweet&spicy. It's a while package.

I'm a huge fan of the healthy North-East food, especially when it's winter or if I'm sick. But since I stay in Rajajinagar there are very few places to explore new food as it's majorly dominated by local food. So while searching I was able to locate this restaurant.
First of all this is not like just another Davangere Benne Dosa hotel in Bangalore who probably don't even know the real taste of Benne Dosa (I have the right to criticize them since I'm from Davangere) . So at Snow Lion they say they are Tibetan and they are true to it.
I have been here 2 times and since I'm vegetarian I have had only vegetarian food. If you want to be amazed try mainly Tibetan food while other non-tibetan foods are average.
Thukpa- I have tried maily two thukpa dishes here, Veg Thukpa and Snow Lion Special Thukpa. If you are a fan of Broth (light) try Veg Thukpa but if you prefer Stew(thick) then try Snow Lion Special Thukpa. King of this Thukpa is mainly "Hand Made Noodles" because I have seen at other places they put Hakka Noodles to Thukpa which are heavy in texture and have no taste. But here the noodles are medium thin and kiss your lips when you slurp them. I have seen in few reviews they say their broth or stew is bland but I say throw in some chilli oil n u will taste the heaven or if you don't wana make it complicated then go for a stew rather than for broth.
Tibetan Butter Tea - This has to be better experienced than to be told. In short "SMELLS LIKE A SWEET BUT TASTES LIKE A SPICE" so you better smell it before you slurp it.
All the dishes come in Veg / Chicken /Beef. And if someone can make veg taste good then can sure make non-veg great.
This place is open till 11pm with last order at 10:30pm and near to MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Visit here if are going to visit someone in MSRIT or if u get back late night from work and searching for a good food. Night time is the best time to have food here. Though parking is not available you can park your vehicle near by park. SO GO IN and TRY NOT TO HESITATE TO ADD CHILLI OIL

Snow Lion truly serves authentic Tibetan cuisine. I have been visiting this since 2012-13 and till date never felt the food to be monotonous. Probably my go to option be it a quick bite, a proper lunch or dinner. To the people visiting there once in a while i would rather suggest you try out different foods items to get a taste of variety of dishes and figure out your favourite one. Its hard for me rate the food here but i would highly recommend a list of dishes which are the must haves....

You know how you have that one place that's just so comforting to go to on rainy and breezy evenings and you know for sure that food is just what you need. Snow lion is that place.
Firstly, the uncle and aunty you'd meet when you enter are so sweet and warm. They're wonderful hosts. They explain you really well incase you're new to Tibetan cuisine and recommend really good dishes.

Just had dinner there. This small food joint has been placed in my favourite list. We ordered drunken noodles, shapta chicken, Chinese chicken chopsuey, tingmo. Everything was really good. We promised ourselves to go there frequently. If you are in Mathikere or, near Ramaiah college, then you should try at least once.

Last week we went there.. For American chopsuey.. Taste good very close to authentic ones. Since so far most of the places we tried was disaster.
Please check with the prices since prices are high and different as what mentioned here at zomato.
Also there are some addon cost to that.
Apart from this the taste is good and served hot.

Visited this eatery after listening to a lot of praises about it and trust me i wasn't disappointed one bit. The taste of Thai red curry and fried noodles still lingers in my mouth. You can avoid the soup though. Overall a really good thai restaurant at decent price
Located in Mathikere, Snow Lion is a small family run business. It's a Tibetan Restaurant that has authentic Tibetan and Indo-Chinese food. They are a value for money place as the prices are low and the quantity is high. I tried Tingmo for the first time, it is a steamed flour bread which is eaten with a gravy.
This is a highly recommended place in case you are okay with sitting in a not so fancy place. Also, on weekends- expect wait time of 15mins at the restaurant.
I love the food in here..noodles and soup and everything...there prices are reasonable for such a taste..they provide chopsticks to eat from which is the best part as u can try something new...
Excellent food. Be it the momos, Thukpa or the basic noodle and rice dishes. Brilliant and gastronomic experience. Very reasonable prices. The place is small and full of college crowd so you might have to share the table or wait for a bit. But it’s totally worth it. An amazing experience that necessitates multiple visits!!

Undoubtedly , one of my favourite Tibetan eatery in the town , situated near our campus . It's a frequent visit place for iisc people..
A tiny small joint run by a Tibetan family.
Nothing much to talk about its decor ..very basic , minimalist decor incl some decent wall portraits. ..
Now coming to the food. .
They offer wide range of Thai and Tibetan cuisine ..
Few of my favourite dishes are listed below..
Drunken noodles : spicy Thai noodle preparation ..is a must have here.
Thukpa : one of the finest I had in the city .. do try this with some white pepper and red chilli dip . Too good.
Rad na : another Thai street delicacy... Off the menu ..
Bbq and shyapta : langsha or chicken .. try this with tingmo , a very tasty bun .
Kudrak soup :. It's my favourite soup here.. very basic and buttery soup tasted brilliant with chicken and langsha.. .
(Langsha: beef)
Avoid trying veg items here .. they are not really palatable ..

Great place for Tibetan food. Thukpa was nice. Momo was great and kudrak soup was amazing and hot. Nice restaurant run by a family. Prices are quite reasonable. Good for family and group. It's not a fancy restaurant but seems homely. They have great Thai food too. Start with tibetan kudrak soup, i know i am telling it again but It's super hot and if you are spice lover tell them to make it spicy. You Loved it.

My experience at Snow Lion was absolutely wonderful. A small, hole in the wall kind of place, with a tibet inspired decor and aesthetic, offering a wide range of asian cuisines at very affordable prices.
The place offers Chinese cuisine as well as Tibetan and Thai alternates. Even though the cutlery was made of plastic, like something that you'd see in a PG mess, The food offered at the Snow Lion was really tasteful, as well as cheap.
It does not happen often, that a place maintains it's quality as well as the quantity of what they present. But The Snow Lion Tibet Kitchen surpassed all expectations I had, as a first time visitor to their eating joint.
This a place where you'll get authentic Tibetian cuisine. The food is made in a hygienic place and is very tasty. However the only reason for one less star is that it is a little overpriced.

This used to be my go to place whenever I craved for some momos or come chilli garlic rice/noodles.. The ambience not that great... But, the food is delicious 💕 apparently my friend likes the Thukpa served.
A small dinky lip smacking place for your Chinese / Thai cravings! It's become my favorite place in Bel Road now. A special mention to Drunken Noodles for its spicy-ness !

Authentic Tibetan cuisine restaurant. Noodles here has to be the has to be the best in Bangalore. They were uniquely thin to enhance the flavor and were well-cooked. The spices and the taste was perfect. I would love to visit the place just for the chilli garlic chicken noodles. They serve a very soft steam bread, which goes perfect with thukpa. Momos, on the other hand, were a little thick and too costly. One could find much better & cheaper chicken momos in roadside stalls on Bel road. The place is small and cozy. Service is quick and decent.

An affordable place with delicious food. We ordered schezwan momo, honey chicken and KitKat shake. All the bdishes were tasty. People living in Bangalore must try this place as it is pocket friendly.
One of my favorite place for tibetan food. I totally love their momos. They have veg/chicken/Langsha momos to choose from. Very pocket friendly place with good quanity of food. Do try their thukpa. The place might be difficult to spot but much closer to Ramaiah college so convenient for college students. The staff is very sweet and accommodating. Very small place with cozy ambience.

The best place for Tibetan food. Amazing dragon chopsuey. I love the thukpa here. A must try special. It's basically noodle soup but tastes like it's much more. Honey chilli potato is also good. It's very very light on your pocket.
PS: make sure you ask them to add an egg sunny side up for dragon chopsuey

Small tiny Tibetan restaurant located at new Bel road.Always had a great experience.Whenever I miss my home and Hometown Food,I always visit this place and eat as much as I can, It's value for money Specially I like their Langsha Items (all) as I am big eater of langsha,like Langsha momo, Shefaley,Thukpa ohhhhh!!! It's So so Yum 😋.And the best part is they do home delivery. I think that is the U.S.P (Unique Up-Selling Point) of this Restaurant😂 just for the foodie Like me😂.Would love to Strongly Recommend this place to others.
Good food, fast service.. I like the American choupsey here.. I like eating with chopsticks here. You can pay by card also they don't have paytm option. But I think they might have upgraded it by now..
The place is very unassuming. The staff extremely friendly and cheerful. The decor very colourful and not flamboyant at the same time. The prayer flags around add a beautiful feel to the whole environment alongwith the teachings of our present Dalai Lama.
The tables however seemed a bit rickety. The seating was quite comfortable otherwise. Considering on four table seaters it gave the same feel of a college hangout.
We had the snow lion special chicken Thukpa and the veg Thentuk ( flat noodle soup). Very distinct flavours. The chilli dipped vinegar was really an excellent add on to the flavours. The best part was it was all freshly made and piping hot.
Overall and excellent place to just chill and have good Tibetan food and very reasonable rates. If you’re a college goer, I’d really recommend it to you for the food quality and rates.

Simple, no BS Tibetian food.
The place is a little cramped up, one might feel stuffed. If you want to relax and have food in a good ambient, this is not a place for you. This is mostly for a quick hunger fix.
Coming to food, Tried Honey Chilly Potatoes, Veg Thukpa, Sweet Corn Thukpa and Chilly Garlic Noodles.
The food was decent and portions were good for the price you pay.
The bill was under 400 bucks. Great value for money.

It’s a small restaurant with decent ambience. The taste is authentic and the price is a winner. I have tried Thukpa, shaptra and Tibetan combo(chicken) over couple of visits. I find combo value for money, portion size is perfect for a person.
This is one of my favourite place located off New BEL road. It is a small quaint place which gives a variety of Chinese ,Tibetian also Thai cuisine. The place is usually crowded during the lunch hours. The place is suffocating if it gets too crowded. For starters Honey chilly potato is a must try. And for the non veg and momo lovers Schezwan Momo is a must . Also they have amazing thukpas. The combo non veg and veg meal is also awesome. The price is reasonable.

This won't be the best review on authenticity cause I'm not Tibetian, but I see a lot of them in the restaurant having good home style food! The ambience is a nice Tibetian home like setting and really adds to the food. It's an enjoyable experience trying traditional Tibetian food alongside their peaceful culture.
A tiny, compact place hidden along the walls of Ramaiah college which is a right example of Looks are misleading. Owners are very terribly and the fact that they are from Tibet makes their food all the more authentic. Very reasonable pricing and even better taste. Really yummy and economical in terms of quantity. Their combos are a 100% value for money.
A small eatery located in the suburbs of New BEL Road. Schzewan momo was great, drunken chicken was kinda OK and steamed chicken was fine. The steamed momo lacked the juiciness. It also didn't come with its regular chilli chutney.

This is a small restaurant near BEL road ; pocket friendly and a fix for hunger pangs. It serves the Tibetan cuisine and some dishes from Chinese and Thai too. Tiny place popular with the college crowd. They serve delicious Tibetan food.
Definitely love their momos which is quite different from the ones you find at roadside stalls. Personal favorites are the Schezwan and Barbeque Momos. Another favourite is the Honey Chilli Potato which is delicious. They also have daily specials not part of the regular menu. We tried the Japanese Yakitori which was not only burnt, but dry and hard. So we didn't like it that much. There are lots of other options to try like the Chopsuey and Thukpa.
The place is a bit claustrophobic, but tasty food makes up for it. Perfect for a quick bite while being easy on the pocket.

We had lunch and they have a lot of variety with Tibetan dishes. You will get options such as veg, chicken and langsha. Burnt garlic fried rice with Manchurian was best. Chicken fried momos with the chutney was great for starters. It's a small place so you'll have to wait on weekends.

This place has unique. They have good noodles, thukpa and momo. The momos are not just boiled but roasted inside a bit so that gives it very unique taste. This tiny hole in the wall place is one of our favorite joints for comfort food. Need to eat a quick lunch or dinner, it's Snow Lion. Have a sore throat and need some noodle soup, Snow Lion.

I have been a regular customer at this small restaurant for almost 3 years now. This place is one of the most affordable and most authentic and tasty Tibetan restaurants. Whenever in doubt , I pick SNOW LION. They offer only Chicken and Beef in non-vegetarian. Their menu is unique and each item has a unique and differentiable taste unlike the wannabe Chinese restaurants that add Indian masala to their dishes and all of them taste the same. The place is a bit congested but ambience is nice. The cleanliness is a 3 on 5. But it is definitely a place that must be tried and can be tried repeatedly. Do try their signature DRUNKEN CHICKEN and HONEY CHICKEN starters. My personal favorite is The SNOW LION CHOPSUEY with HONEY CHICKEN.

The ambience was fantastic and the inner decoration was too good although the place is little smaller than you like. The food items are Tibetan cuisines as the name suggests. You will get good thukpa and honey chilli potato. Soups were great too. They have very few tables as the place is really small. So you might prefer to go at off hours. Paytm and Bhim app is accepted methods. So it was a nice experience to taste authentic Tibetan cuisines.
This restaurant is one of its kind. Actually you would have a very pleasure experience after finishing your meal than while your are eating it ...! Trust me😉

The shop is very small but don't think of that. Just sit, enjoy the beautiful decoration, and try thai green curry momo, steam momo, chicken lollipop & drunken chicken noodles. All are delicious. You may try honey chicken with drunken chicken noodles. The combination will amaze you. Just mind it, honey chicken is sweet. I didn’t like the dish too much but with noodles it was 👌

Not that great, but ya taste wise it was ok. I just liked the " Honey Chicken " which was dipped with sweet and tangy flavour sauce. Rest of them like momos and Chicken noodles was same as v eat in street side. It's a small place, wasn't much of crowd which is good. And the food was prepared and served in 20mins which was fine. Didn't take much of time. Overall it's a decent place with decent taste, but not so great in taste wise. 👍
Definitely worth the hype. The place is very small but the food is very good. Must try for anyone who wants to try thukpa.
