Best muttonn biriyani in town. Amazing boti fry. Quick service. Totally worth every penny. Best place in Bangalore to grab a quick lunch, though parking is a problem.
A typical hole in the wall kind of place. But a delight to the taste buds. Located just walking distance from my work place. It is frequented by me. At least twice in a month. The biryani is a sight for sore eyes. Wonderful flavor and a very decent portion size. Tried the lamb chops and mutton kheema, both very good as well. To top it all, the 60ml shot of rasam and buttermilk in the end is the perfect finale to a totally satisfied belly. Be prepared wait for a table to at peak lunch hour. Spice alert in advance. Not for the faint taste buds.
very courteous service. Food was good. Ordered chicken fry which was semi dry. The gravy tasted really good. Small place but amazing service.
Courteous and quick service. Chicken biryani was very tasty some might find it spicy. The chicken kababs and kheema ball curry were not bad. Free buttermilk is served at the end of the meal.
Decent place and good food, usually crowded during lunch time on weekdays.
Ordered: mutton chops, naati chicken, chicken tikka, mudde and chicken biryani.
This was a simple place for mudde curry the last time I visited here. This was also the first few places I tried these specialties in Bangalore as this was close to my office. Ragi balls, mutton Keema ball curry, Nati chicken curry, chicken biryani are all pleasing enough here.
If you guys wanna try something
1. Simple
2. Authentic
3. Worth your buck
This is the place
May not be very swanky. Waiters might not be best around but they sure know how to smile.
Try liver fried. Ask them to make it spicy. Raagi with mutton gravy is awesome too. Keema balls weren't bad either.
Overall, I feel, worth the money.
This place has one of the best pepper chicken I've had. Their biryani is good too,but definitely not outstanding. Ragi balls with mutton gravy are also worth a try.

Totally in love with this place.. One of my top choices for a quick lunch time food haven.. The mutton biriyani is the highlight and steals the show..chicken biriyani is also as good.. A must try for every biriyani lover.. They have re opened just after renovation n place looks pretty gud must say...
I have been visiting it for almost 10 yrs. very basic and good place to taste gowda style ragi ball and mutton saaru. Also try the khaima ball curry which again is a very gowda style. The cleanliness factor needs to improve and shld offer finger bowl. Service quality also needs to improve.
Just have biryani rice and a chicken fry... They have picked up the cleanliness when you compare it with the past. If YouTube want to have some biryani rice then this is the best place around..
I've been going to Nagashree's for years and I absolutely love Andhra style chicken so I visit this restaurant frequently. It's home-style cooking and ambience makes it very easy to enjoy :)
Food: The Andhra Chilli Chicken, Pepper Chicken and Chicken Biriyani are mouth watering and a MUST TRY if you visit this restaurant. The food is served in big steel thalis with cut out banana leaf on it. The raitha is a little watery for my taste but the onions are always crunchy, no matter what time you go.. some restaurants make the raitha in the morning and by afternoon it becomes soggy, but not at Nagashree's!!
Price: 10/10 absolutely affordable
Ambience: Nagashree's offers home-style food in a home-style environment. It has fans, the tables and chairs are always clean. But it's becomes very warm during the summer, hence the -.50 in my score.
Hospitality: The waiters are super friendly and oblige you when you order multiple cups of the raitha or cold drinks :P
Definitely worth a visit if you are an andhra cuisine lover!
Situated on main double road, its not a restaurant proper. A part of a compound has just been converted into a seat area with walls. No frills attached.
The kheema dosa we had was very nice. 80bucks a dosa but since one isn't filling, its not a complete value for money. I've heard their mutton chops etc are also worth trying.
Would try it again
Military style kannadiga yummy food, with all the flavours and spices blended and cooked to perfection. what else one can expect from a Restaurant which serves good food? A true value for money :-)
go check it out.
A very old restaurant serving veg and non veg food. Very traditional cuisine, their ragi mudde and non veg combinations are very delicious, very mildly spiced.Mutton biriyani is a must try dish, the mutton is very tender and rice spiced with more of herbs like coriander and mint. 😊
Food is ok. Don't have a wide variety of food for vegetarians. For nonveg dishes its ok.
The food was really good in taste. Also the price was budget friendly.
The breakfast was outstanding. I ordered Mutton keema ball curry and idlis. The mutton balls and curry were very fresh. Perhaps this place can be much cleaner. Loos and wash area is not too well appointed. :-/ And yes, it is a bit expensive given the ambience. But the food is good!
Courteous and quick service. Chicken biryani was very tasty some might find it spicy. The chicken kababs were not bad. Free buttermilk is served at the end of the meal.
Simple yet delicious biriyani.. karnataka style. Worth a try .. caramel flavoured milk sweet is very famous here.
Nice hotel in double road.. must try once.
Costs are not so high. Best food here is ragi muddhe ‌ all chicken items.
Very tasty !homely taste food!
But price is also ok. I'm really disappointed with the quantity of Mutton pepper fry ,280 rupees for one plate, it comes with only *three pieces!*
A mid level lunch home with very good Ragi mudde and soppusaru. It's a bustling joint serving traditional Kannada meat dishes. The service was pleasent and the ambience great for a short lunch when you don't have time for a leisurely meal. The owners are attentive to customers. Clearly a family business that has stood the test of time.
Great indian home food. The food is exactly same as the food made by my grandma.
Affordable prices and kind natured staff.
Infrastructure shall be improved.
The quantity of the Biryani is too too too less, the quality of the chicken pieces is not up-to the mark. Need a bit of improvement. Owner who sits in counter is very helpful, understanding & down to earth, hat's off to his simplicity, when the card💳 Swiping device was not functioning, he just let us go n said you can come n pay the bill.

I used to have food in this restaurant before 2015 but i noticed change in taste when I visited recently in 2022, earlier biryani used to be the best one in that area.
This is the destination if u are looking for authentic biryani and other homemade Mandya style food. Mutton biryani, Ragi mudde and Mutton chops are the must try. Don't forget to order caramel custard in the end. Good veg thaali for the pure vegetarians too.
