Nice place, nice ambience & nice food...enjoyed a peaceful breakfast overlooking the quiet MG Road before d traffic settled in. Ate Masala Dosa which was crisp & nice. Also tried out Banana Dosa...was expecting something like a crepe with bananas but was actually banana flavored mini dosas with various chutnies-was nice. Overall a good experience!! Being a frequent visitor to Dasaprakash at Mysore, I am glad there is a branch in Bangalore too.
Lovely location. Nice food. All old time Bangaloreans will love it. Ask for the banana dosa and Irish stew :)
Lovely simple food... It's the only reminder of home & my childhood !!
Extremely Light & yummy Dosas yet taste so rich!
MG road metro station having the best metro art centre, it has water fountain, creative art works, best for photoshoots, must visit for art lovers during weekends there will be art exhibition like sculpture, painting etc. Very well maintained, you can sit and enjoy your time here. Above this there is a walking place with decorated Bougainville flowers, good place to hangout with friends and family.
Overall a good experience.. a lot of scope to make the place better. I found it nice since I am an artist.. I would love to paint a section there.. for a non artist person, it may be a little disappointing.. I expected more art there..
A small yet beautiful place to spend time, adorned with numerous artworks by artists, conveniently located near the metro station.
I was expecting an art gallery. But this one is just some paintings, garden and statues along Metro rail track. You will like walking on the elevated garden path
Great work done and great space utilisation by government to give back much needed green cover and also the place to get Bangalore back on to affordable art community map.
This strip of amazing space provides two levels, the upper level is for garden walks and a hotel which is closed as of now.
The lower level is for art displays, insights into Gandhiji’s association with Bengaluru, space for kids to play, adults to catch up and art lovers to rejoice.
Easily accessible through MG road metro and closely located to Cubbon park, MG road, Church street and Chinnaswamy stadium, this is highly recommended visit for family
Went to view my niece's art exhibition in this gallery, the vibe is nice, there was a drumming session by Vasundhara das adjoining the exhibition centre.
This is right below the MG road metro station. They have converted the old Bougainville gardens into this nice cultural pathway.
A good way to utilise space under the Metro Track , right in the middle of Central Business District , There was always something or the other going on in the galleries and corridors , so it was a very lively place before the Pandemic . The informative History Wall and the Snakes n Ladders flooring are fine ideas .
Such an amazing experience as an art lover. There are competitions and exhibitions held at this place. Students from different art colleges come here and showcase their art works which is such a treat for ur eyes if you are an art lover. A complete different experience and a different side of namma bengaluru ❤
Very well maintained and good place for art lovers as a weekend getaway. Central and extremely convenient location. The exhibition space is decent sized having 3 dimensions (1 large and 2 small) for photography or painting exhibitions. Their office is conveniently placed near to the halls for any queries and open on weekends. The cost for hiring is nominal too, around 5k+taxes for large( can host up to 120 A3 size pics double lined) and 2.5k for smaller hall(60-70 similar pics). The peripheral areas to the art gallery is also interesting with fancy metal sculptures and interesting chronology of Bengaluru. Do visit for an unique experience. Quite amidst traffic and very lively!
fun for everyone. Irrespective of age everyone has a great time here. very neatly maintained. Good for evening walks. Kids fun space is good. Brings back memories of the old world games and activities. Good hub to meet friends.
A very meaningful place to be, to reflect on namma Bengaluru. Do not forget to notice the children's drawings and read their views on our city.
Visited this place during Indie Comix Fest this year. Pretty convenient and well maintained place for small to moderately crowded gatherings. Apart from that the art galleries are pretty good and neat too. Had a nice experience.
Awesome place.
Well organized for stalls.
Plenty of place for ppl to sit down , loiter and chitchat.
The only drawback is parking is too far away.
Loved the place as it's very well designed and laid out.
Take a walk down the place and lots to explore.
The open air exhibition venue is one of the few well maintained public places in the CBD. I visited the Indie Comix Fest on 8th Oct 23 and the place was teeming with thousands of art aficionados. Though crowded it was well managed.
Rangoli metro art centre is one place located at Brigade road, people come here to enjoy the peace, this public space is also used for walking in the evening,
Beautiful art you will find on walls
Very artistic walls and children will enjoy near PlayStation, come games like snakes and ladder are also seen at this place
Also recommended for photoshoots
Now a days this place is not well maintained
Best place for ART LOVERS
I request public to avoid plastic.
One of the best place explorer your art work.
We get the hall for rent which is very affordable. And there have there own FB page and community followers
Beautiful arts and crafts. Great place to explore Banglore history and culture. No entry fee and no much restrictions on photography. Must visit while near Mahatma Gandhi metro station
