Good food and good ambience for a dinner. We had family dinner and all enjoyed the chicken varatharachathu and Kerala porota. Malabar Biriyani also was very tasty. Surely we will visit again.
The food was great, and despite of their authentic food being spicy they tried to make it as less spicy as possible, and how could I forget the extra Raita's.

The ambience might not make you feel that you are at a Kerala restaurant, but the food definitely will.. We had ordered fish curry meals and chicken meals and it was really tasty. The sambar, moru curry, fish curry, chicken curry, chamanthi everything was really good
We went to this restaurant in a hurry hurry situation, so couldn't try much options..though they have only limited items in the menu...but we ordered Porotta and stew...and a veg meal....Porotta was so well made... crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inner sides of the layer...stew had a homemade feel ....( Quantity is less ) veg meal was simple and good....but guys, for me the highlight was the ' Chammanthi' a special mother's recipe by the restaurant owner...it's a bit spicy...but I will always remember the taste of that ' Chammanthi' for sure...I would recommend them to add more dishes in the menu...cz the food is clean and fresh, tasty and has a homely touch ....

Great place for authentic Kerala food.Ā Italian menu - Pizza and Pasta available to satisfy kids desire.
Overall good place for lunch/dinner.
The way the food is treated and presented is very impressive. Though you'll have to wait sometime it's totally worth. The taste is as lovely as the ambience.
I never miss to order an Poratta with Chicken Curry. Paladda is also a must try.
The Desserts as well as Snacks over there are Mind Blowing and I have never tried pizzas and pastas over there because south or Kerala menu itself will satisfy your needs. The prices here are little higher as it's absolutely fresh and its live there.
This place has opened in place of The Grub Central and what a great discovery. Love trying out the Kerala cuisine for its rich flavour and this place doesn't disappoint.
We had ordered Chicken Nadan Fry and Jalapeno Cheese Poppers for starters and both were extremely delicious.
The jalapeno poppers had so much flavor packed in that we could just keep eating and never stop.
For mains, we ordered appam, Kerala Parotta and Chicken Curry. The chicken was done so well and the appams were served hot. The parotta was buttery and melt in the mouth soft.
The service is incredible with very polite staff. Will definitely visit again to try more of their Italian cuisine.
One improvement would be to add more items in the Kerala menu.
Usually when my non keralite friends ask for a good Kerala restaurant in Bangalore, I usually discourage them, since delicious and genuine Kerala restaurants are hard to find. But now I can safely tell them to visit Kerala central. Extremely delicious Kerala cuisine with good attention to details (eg: roasted coconut chips in payasam) . Biriyani is too good though a bit costly. If you are a malayali reading this, do visit the place. If you are a non-malayali and wish to try Kerala cuisine, do visit this one.

Have been hearing good reviews about this newly opened joint in HSR, and we decided to try it for a weekend lunch. Amazing Kerala style food - we tried Meals, Fried fish, Kappa, Pidi Kozhi (this was too good!) and chicken lollypop for starter. Food was super tasty especially the seafood. Highly recommended if you like Kerala food.
This is the best Kerala food with homely taste in HSR layout. Their Italian dishes are also lip smacking. Cigar rolls and jalapeƱo cheese balls are must try!!!!
Oh my god!!! I have always eaten Kerala food in a mess and it was pure military style I almost lost my taste for Kerala food...then I stumbled on The Kerala Central...itās a small place so it get filled fast but and for the right reasons...the food itās amazing....you must try the Kerala Parothas and chicken curry

A very interesting cuisine with both Italian & Kerala. To start with the Kerala dishes, I have been here multiple times to have their fish curry and appam that is out of the world. The meals consists of the sambar , moru curry( Kerala style khadi ) is homely and with a fish fry along with it would make you want to go there everyday. The kappa and meen curry is a must have. In the Italian, I have had the white sauce pasta which is yum. Itās my personal favourite. The batter fried chicken and pizzaās are yum as well. In drinks their kala katta is refreshing and a good combination with the food. The ambience and service is good as well. Would definitely recommend this place.
The Kerala central is the absolute abode for yummy food! Trust me guys I don't miss homely food it's just the same as home made food.. Especially kappa and chicken curry! Must visit place for Kerala cuisine lovers
Grub central is small place but interiors are done well. Service was pretty good. Food was above average. But a little on the spicy side.
We had:
1. Oreo shake.
2. Crispy chicken tenders.
3. Prawns butterfly - A little chewy.
4. Grilled fish in lemon butter sauce - Good.
5. Chicken lasagne - Good.
6. Chocolate brownie with ice cream - Good.
7. Chocolate mousse - Good.
8. Veg veggie pizza - Very good.
The food is amazing. Service used to be great, now it's okayish. If you are someone who likes English breakfast and cuisine of that sort, this place is definitely a go to place (I come here at least once a month because of the ambience as well). Didn't personally like the steak sauce and some of the fried appetizers are bit too oily, but other things taste great. Service used to be top notch, now orders take a while to come, and some orders were completely missed. Staff is still polite though, and hopefully they'll improve

Loads of food variety and a typical continental with some fusion touch comes to please our hunger.
They do have scope for improvement and I believe with those enhancement it will be a place that offers great value.

A Lebanese Styled salad which was something new for my taste buds, learned the beet root was dipped in red wine. Resulted in a differed taste, overall failed to impress me.
Chicken Supreme
Chunks of chicken pieces cooked perfectly in a sauce and served on stick. It was served with a dip and a mango pickle (very impressive). The portion size is large and acts as a filler for 2. Loved this the most.
Desserts
Loved tiramisu the most as it was smooth and texture was perfect too.
Thank to Chef Amit for the wonderful preparation. must go with slight sautƩed Veggies. Sauce and the flavors in the fish was excellent.

Very thick was the coating which was a put off as the stuffing lost its value.
#Chicken Lasagne
Repeated flavors in all the layout made the dish less likeable and needed to be enhanced. Sure the Chefs must have improved by now.
The desserts were not impressive and felt this section needs larger attention. Very ordinary was the Apple Pie, Brownie and the Moosue.
Would I Visit Again ?
Being a continental food fan, if the enhancements are perfect I would love to visit soon.

Moved to HSR a couple of weeks back and was looking for new places in this area for a casual evening dinner. Found The Grub Central on Zomato Gold and it had a really good rating of 4, so thought of trying out this place.
Located on 1st floor from the outside, they've given this restaurant the look of a bus with windows. It's reasonably sized with reasonable seating capacity of about 8-10 tables.
Brightly lit ambience with good amount of space to move around.
We quickly settled down on our table and were given the menu, ordered the crispy chicken burger, peri peri chicken steak and peri peri chicken Satay.
First on the table was the Satay and it was decently good. was a little bland and could have been made a little more spicier but overall it was fine.
Next was the crispy chicken burger and this was the best of the lot. Absolutely fantastic, it was of the correct size and the crispy chicken patty in between was out of the world. Also, the best thing was that this burger held up and didn't fall apart after a few bites, so a big thumbs up to the crispy chicken burger.
The peri peri chicken steak was served along with veggies and rice, no complaints taste wise, but the size of the chicken piece was just too small. Was surely expecting a bigger portion size at that price.
I wouldn't term this restaurant as a value for money offering, felt the items were a little overpriced and you fell a sense of injustice with the portion sizes being served at that price.
It's worth a one time visit though, to enjoy the ambience, service and tasty food.

The place is easy to locate in HSR and is on 27th Main. We were a large group and decided to go here had it had decent rating and was accepting zomato gold. We used multiple Zomato gold and had to face some issue in the usage of GOLD. That spoilt the experience to some extent in the end for few!
The place is small, but the interiors are catchy with yellow lights adding a nice glow to the place.
We ordered multiple things from the menu:
Vegetable Cigars: Tasted good and we repeated this. The flavors of spinach, cottage cheese and melted cheese, green chilies were coming through and we liked it
Bruschetta- Average! Avoidable- I am not a fan though
Cheese Sticks- Yummy as always. Nice blend of cottage cheese, green chilies, cheese and panko crumbs.
Mashed Potato Bomb- Bland! Avoidable
Corn Cheese Crepes: The top layer was tempting the and when we drenched deeper it felt the same.
Veg Club Sandwich: The sandwich was double layered. The top layer had cottage cheese and the bottom layer had cucumber, tomato and cheese spread. Nothing special to mention. Was served along with some fries. Avoidable!
All Veggie Burger- Nice big burger with thick crispy patty with caramelized onion and lettuce.
Very Veggie Pizza- The pizza was nice and rich loaded with Bell Peppers Mushrooms, sun tried tomatoes, capsicum, black olives and onions.
Risotto- The rice was creamy and nicely cooked with Parmesan cheese and diced vegetables served along with garlic bread. Not everyone liked it, but I felt it was good on taste. S
Lasagne- The layers were nicely done with creamy sauce and vegetables. Good on taste
Penne Alfredo- Both Lasagne and pasta had similar taste and was difficult to differentiate. Taste was average
Spaghetti Aglio olio- Spaghetti was tossed in olive oil, garlic, olives and flakes. Felt the olive oil could have be little less. Too plain for my liking, avoidable unless you know what you are ordering
For drinks we ordered Cold Coffee, Choco Mocha Shake, Fresh Lime, Masala Lemonade, etc and and all tasted better than average

Overall Verdict: Can Try
This place is around 200 metres from NIFT. Theme of restaurant is like train and I like the ambience. We ordered veg pizza, speghatti and lemon based drink. All food items were damn yummy. We enjoyed our meal. But we found the portions were little small, though taste of food has compensated. Pricing wise it is not cheaper side.
Small and clean place to look after, service and food was good. Less crowded and budget oriented. Have good number of options in menu to select, staff is very cool. From out side it looks like a train š concept. Not great with ambience. Overall if you are looking for a quick and budget oriented place, this is the place to be considered.

This is such a fun place to visit because it really does feel like you're inside of a you train. It's definitely designed to look like a Subway train with an oddly good color scheme and has very limited seating like one as well.
The food is pretty good compared to that what you would get in an actual train (lol). What I ordered
1. Crispy Chicken Tenders - Some nice crispy chicken to start off with. They're not as good as the KFC ones but are decent enough in their is way.
2. Mac and Cheese - A very cheesy delight that you should definitely try if you want to spend less and satisfy that appetite.
3. Barbeque Chicken Pizza - A delicious pizza with some good BBQ chicken pieces throughout. The sauce was also nice and zesty.
4.Grilled fish with lemon butter sauce - A brilliant dish with a fish so well cooked that leaves you wanting more. And that lemon butter sauce is just something else.
5.Penne Alfredo - A well portioned penne pasta drenched in some creamy white sauce. Very filling and quite tasty.
6.Classic Calzone - It's a unique customizable Calzone with a variety of fillings you can choose upto 3 from.
7.Chocolate Shake - It's pretty good for it's price.
8. French Fries - NEVER TAKE THIS ITEM.
The service is incredible. Not only did the waiter take care of our food needs, he even have us access to the restaurants Bluetooth speakers as we were the only customers and we wanted to play some good times rather than listen to the radio.

Veg thin crust pizza - Shredded capsicum , small chunks of mushroom were the most evident. Low on salt , added some and

) in creamy sauce. A first time for me , would have liked the fillingsĀ a bit more cooked.
Veg shashlik - My favourite of the day. Plated and presented beautifully. Veggies were cooked well and I like them that way. The sauce was rich and went well with the herbed rice. Am not a big fan of mashed potato , so only had one spoon.
Non-veggie friends appeared to be enjoying their meal and specifically the Grilled fish in lemon butter sauce
Skipped the other desserts to keep dinner light.
