Have tried the Chinese dishes which are good.
I tried their noodles, baby corn Manchurian, Chinese bhel and home made nachos. They are simply good and tasty. Eat them hot for good experience. Budget place for your Desi style Chinese snacks. 😉

To start with crispy corn chilly pepper it was tasty.My friends liked it too.
Pudina lassi was good as well.

The best alu paratha so far, never disappointed with anything, many items are unique here, not available elsewhere and the surprises when you try a new option is always good. Liked their Chinese bhel, bread pakora, baby corn Manchurian, crispy konjy potato , meals too

Chapat! This is a small outlet just near basvangudi towards jaynagar. This place has a long menu and is not disappointing! They serve you food as quick as possible and are extremely pocket friendly. The roti sabzi and chola batura are yum!! Noodles are good too! Chats are spot on! A lot of people visit here from the various offices and college around. Needs improvement in hygiene!
This is a small place in Basavngudi, i wanted to try this since long as when ever i passed the lane i got a great aroma. The hint of greatness for my taste buds.
So here i am today trying this place out. The staff is nice and helpful. I got easy parking near the place. I asked the staff to help me out with that ever is best.
I got was lassi - A one it was. Sweet, flavor of apt with Elaichi.
Next was crispy corn - Woow this is somthng new, fascinating and tasty.
Next was Nachos Chat, this is new and my friend did not allow me much to have.
I saw people taking meals also.... looks good for next time

Chatpat was my 'go to' place for lunch, pretty much everyday, when I was studying grad.
It's a small food joint, really big on taste.
I went there yesterday, after sooooo long and I was told that the onion rings are discontinued! I was devastated :/
Must tries - aloo chop! Do NOT miss this!
Aloo paratha - brilliantly stuffed with a generous amount of spiced potato.
Onion paratha - caramelized onions stuffed.
Combos - amazing phulkas, rice, dal, amazing subzi, pickle.
Lassi - cannot miss this!
Homemade nachos - Indian take on the Mexican appetizer. Brilliant!

Honestly speaking, this is one of those places you pay really less for good quality food.
Very hygienic food.
One thing I don't like is the handwash.
If you're around and hungry, you won't be disappointed! Love this place!
Do not miss the nachos - a desi version of the Mexican snack! The parathas are definitely worth trying. The let down is the place - Too small and crowded. The surroundings are not clean, hence take-away is preferred. But the taste and reasonable prices make you come back for more.

Somehow I missed to write a review about this small and cute outlet in Basavanagudi. I visited here several times for an evening snack with a few friends of mine and never disappointed with any of the aspects. I tried most of the popular dishes in this outlet like Vada Pav, Crispy Baby Corn, Aloo Paratha, Cheese Cherry Pineapple and So many.
This joint is very small with nominal staffing, at the time service is too low. We can’t expect great service or hospitality in restaurants like Chatpat. Prices are quite affordable and the portions are decent enough. If you are craving for Gujrati or Rajasthani quick eats, do visit this place without a second thought. Don’t forget to try Pudina Pepsi Masala without fail!Overall:

Quick, tasty variety. The home made nachos are killer, they're india's take at the Mexican nachos . The vada pav is really good and so is the yellow daal. The service is instant and very good for a quick munch or takeaway. Sadly this place remains closed on Sundays!
A good sweet shop and can cause a BIG hole in your pocket. However it is very average as a restaurant. It is too overpriced. Their Chole bhature is very bad. Chats are good but way too costly. Same holds for Raj Kachori. Do not try their south indian dishes. They are too oily. Despite having an average experience with their food, I have a very positive experience with their sweets.
The most bindas place around this part of town,small place but the rush is epidemic. Must try the home made nachos,kinji crispy potatoes, and kesar lassi. Nice place for every day lunch or snacks ... Easy on the pockets

Small joint... Very treaty food at a reasonable cost. Particular love the aloo parota that they make.. If you are any where in basavanagudi looking for a quick bite then this is the place you will want to come.. I just wish they keep their surroundings a little more tidy..

I had dahi puri, parata n phulka sabji on different visits. I like the taste from here.They are also on swiggy and accept paytm. Prices are reasonable.They are generous with the portions. Recommend this for snacks, it's also good for lunch n dinner (nothing fancy though). Do try their dahi puri and lassi 👍
