This place has awesome interior. This is the only place which has fruit shakes and coffee shakes and chocolate shakes and cake shakes under one roof. They have a variety of shakes available and all are worth trying. I have come here like a lot of times and when compared to other places where you get shakes, this is much cheaper. They have sandwiches and fries too. This place provides money worth shakes and sandwiches. The quantity of shakes and sandwiches is good but they price which you pay for fries is not worth the quantity you get. They have quality shakes and food served. I actually love the glass bottles in which they serve you shakes. You can take this bottles with you. I had a good experience here. The staff is supportive. Its a great place for get togethers and date xD.
I was under the impression that Drunken Monkey serves only alcohol! I know, I am being silly here :P But after my little invention on their menu, I can vouch for them, being both pocket friendly and yummy options to opt from. It was an absolutely great experience for me, as I indulged in their Choco Nutella smoothie, along with the crispy and succulent Grilled Chicken Sandwich.

Detox drinks 😍 , Sandwiches ( shredded chicken cheese for non-sense veg guys else veg cheese) , shakes of your preference and a board game is the spanking combo of Drunken Monkey .
Ambience is pretty and yellowish ( my favorite) so I Iiked it . Here you can find around 6-7 types of board games which is a good pass time.
Overall a good place to chill and you can visit without even going through the reviews as Drunken Monkey won't disappoint you ( Monkey is sober) that's why 😛😛
Yet another restaurant that have jumped into the milkshakes in a take-away bottle bandwagon. However, I feel this place does have some really good stuff that sets it apart from other restaurants.
Ambience is good enough, there are a few games to pass your time.
I definitely like the glass bottles that they give away. They do come handy.
They have a few interesting detox juices, which you can also order in bulk for a week.
Must try: Cold coffee and their Nutella shake, any of their sandwiches. Their rolls can be given a miss, better go for their sandwiches.
All in all, I have visited this place quite a few times and will continue to do so.
The best cafe to visit when ur empty stomach and hungry.....the big 300ml bottle of black currant shake filled my stomach....taste was good.... service was bit delayed but ambiance is very much different and nice

With the milkshake frenzy gripping town, health is a rare offer. That's where places like Drunken Monkey are an ideal pit stop. Love their wide spread of choices for healthy drinks especially. I am definitely going there more often.

Coolest juice shop in town, hands down! Service is great, but they’re super slow when they’re unexpectedly busy. Some the smoothies are too thick for my taste, but when I switched to shakes... I’m hooked! I go to this place about three times a week and LOVE it!

Ordered from this place twice on swiggy. The chocolate drink was very nice & well made. The Horlicks shake wasnt that great but was okay. I guess they had sweetened it too much that it was kind of chocking. Presentation was good & their bottles are cute too
I visited this place after a rather exhausting day. Needed to hydrate myself after facing the heat of Bangalore's traffic (literally). Cute decor. I almost couldn't find the restroom, which was camouflaged with the wallpaper of bricks. I loved the idea of it.
The Watermelon Lemon chiller was good, but it was a little tasteless to be honest. It was termed as their bestseller, so I am sure they serve a better one or probably I chose it with high expectations. It wasn't bad, though, but expensive for the taste.

So far I've tried their Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Cheese sandwich, Chilli Cheese Sandwich, Tons of different shakes and juices...The quality is Fabulous ! The quantity is just the right amount. And they really listen to what your needs are and make the order accordingly !!! The manager again here is a sweetheart ! The staff is very prompt ! I looooong their packaging ! The interior is so hip !! They also have a selfie wall XD for all you selfie lovers out there !!!

We ordered (via swiggy) one Choco Shake, 2 Choco Almond Shakes and 1 Crunchy Horlicks Shake.
I enjoyed my Choco Almond Shake which gave a mouthful of chopped almonds in every sip. The Choco Shake was similar without almonds and the Crunchy Horlicks had crushed cereals in it. I however thought that the Crunchy Horlicks shake was too sweet for my taste buds.
Moolah: Rs.633 Inc. taxes for 4 indulgence (category) shakes that include the bottle as well.
Pros: well tasting shakes, wide menu of fruit shakes, nut shakes, fruit and nut shakes, dried fruit shakes, coffee and chocolate shakes and customized shakes, neat and thoughtful packaging!
Cons: Density choice should be given (I would pay a bit more for a much thicker shake)

Not the greatest milkshake adda but pretty decent. The red velvet shake wasn't to the expected consistency and the summer time madness lacked a little sugar. But the place is really cool. They have a lot of games to kill time and the ambience is apt to hang with friends. Wish the milkshakes had a wow factor just like the place does !

You choose the fruit or fruits and make dairy - non dairy - indulgent- just a cooler and electrolyte ... how ever you would like it the options are there...
Tried the strawberry chiller and the banana smoothie... both were nice and had no artificial or added sweetness to the drink which is what we were looking for. The goodness of the veggies or fruits in its wholesome goodness.
The ambiance is funky with some board games to entertain you too if you are wanting enjoy some time off.

The Monkey’s Question: Why is a milkshake called a shake though it is Blended???
Drunken Monkey!! One Cool place with cool staff set up at a corner very near to the Masjid-E-Jafar masjid in CMR road Kalyannagar. What catches your attention about this is place is the Monkey itself at the first place and the simple and neat set up café in the Corner. I Loved the interiors, lighting and few witty Monkey quotes displayed in this place and the Comfy tables that allows you to sit for and also a few games kept in their shelves to play and have a good time in here with friends. They have two seats placed out door too, if u wanna enjoy your drink watching the on-goers in this street. One best thing about this place is again, that once you are inside you actually forget the vehicle noise from outside that is how well their interiors are made.
On my first visit to this place I had chose to have the Monkey confidential 2, which was presented in the take away bottle with a cute monkey on the cap stating ‘If you can’t stay Take me away’. So I chose to kidnap the money along with my veggies bag to enjoy the drink in solitude. It was indeed a good one having its own unique taste and it was quite filling too.. aahaa u guys gotta keep guessing what the drink is made of.. The staff in here claimed that all the juices were made using natural fruits, since they had their own farms from where the fruits were sourced from. Unlike, others that use ready flavors and Ice creams to Bottle the milkshake.
For the second time I visited this place with my dear cousin brother, on a Sunday evening to enjoy a good filling fruit shake after a Chat trip. This time in we chose to have a Pineapple Magic and Pomegranate Magic. I personally loved the Pineapple magic it had right amount of pineapple, apple and almonds. No strawberry though. Pomegranate magic was just average lacked a bit on the pomegranate flavor.
This time in, I spent some time in this place and loved all the time that I was there in. I specifically love the vertical chess board that has old roman styles pawns in their décor, if anyone can stand and play for long, you can give a shot at it.
Loved the few witty write ups on the display and would love to come back to the monkey for some more healthy smoothies.
Would love to go back to this place for a late night drink, as they are open till 1 AM.

Drunken monkey as the name states it's all about juices and shakes.. let's not mistake it for alcohol.. Spotting it on the main road of Kalyan nagar we cannot miss going there.. Ambience is really peaceful, simple seating with some good music and the best part is there are lot of board games which you can enjoy with your bunch of friends, have a bottle of shake or juice or maybe some sandwich and just spend some quality time with your loved ones.
It's really a very nice place to sit and chill with your friends.. I am really glad to have this place in Kalyan nagar.. Coming to the quality of shakes and drinks, we ordered red velvet shake which was a suggestion on the menu but it turned out very disappointing as it was jus the rose flavour or strawberry milk without any taste Of red velvet and the milk was watery.. our high expectation was totally let down. My friend@ ordered nut case which he told was ok and also not as expected. The other drink was black currant shake which I think had a mediocre taste and was the only drink which was serve chilled.
Anyhow the menu is vast and they have lot of other things to try.. Guess you need to take a suggestion from someone there for their best serve or else we 'll land up takin somethin which is not worth a try.. We had a good time as the place was good even though the drinks were disappointing.. I hope they improve on their beverages as there is major competition surrounding them in this area.. It'll surely rock then..!!

Drunken Monkey is a happy place. The ambience of the place is colorful and happy.
Place:
They offer a variety of games such as Jenga,Uno,Ludo etc to accompany their shakes and more. It is a lot of fun to sit and play these games with the food. It is a small but well lit and nicely decorated place.
Service:
The service is quick and very efficient. The people are very nice.

They offer a huge variety of shakes. They have a number of fruit and vegetable shakes, protein shakes, health shakes etc. They also offer coffee shakes and chocolatey shakes as well as Red velvet and blueberry cheesecake shakes.
We ordered a Chocolate nutella shake and a Coffee Caramel Shake. The nutella shake was chocolatey
and nice. It wasn't very nutella-y but it was still very good. The coffee caramel shake was very good. It had a butterscotch like taste and was very enjoyable.

The trend of serving drinks in glass milk bottles has been a hype every other milkshake parlor has been catching up on, so it was only until a juice parlor took it up. Drunken Monkey is a juice parlor which serves their juices and milkshakes in take-away (yes, you get to keep it!) glass bottles, but they have a myriad of flavour options and various flavour blends, and they are so many that you would need quite a few visits to try them all.
We tried the Nut case, which was a pleasant blend of dates, nuts and icecream. It was not too thick, but had a hearty flavour of dates and fig. It was delicious. Next came in the Fruit and Nut, which was a blend of Strawberry, Chikoo, dates and nuts. It was high on flavour but I felt the bitterness of Chikoo was tad too much overpowering. Finally came in the Pharoah, which was a rich blend of Avocado, dates and nuts. This again had the slight bitterness of Avocado, but was a refreshing drink.
Overall, from the options we tried, some were good but nothing to write home about. The ambiance is very classy, with lot of toys and games. There are lot of juice options and yet many more flavours to try out, but with the ones I tried, none of them managed to knocked our socks off. They were delicious no doubt, but with a price of almost around 200+ (including taxes) it didn't feel quite worth it.
The juice options have made a overkill, loved that you can avoid sugar and enjoy the natural amount of sweetness nature intended. I also love the take away option. But when I asked your staff if the bottles not taken away are reused they said no, I refuse to believe this but if it is true I do not see why it can't be reused. Its the same as using a glass at any other restaurant anyway, but since it's a franchise I'm sure you guys probably have done the right things.
The ambiance is nice and open a little greenery could go a long way to improve this place though. I saw a little area outside the window that would have been perfect for a few plants, just saying.

This place is cozy.. the staff over here are friendly.. Korean food has a bit of sweet taste, so spice lovers may get dissappointed.. but people who love to try different cuisine may try it out. We ordered omelette rice which was a bit sweet due to sause, beef bulgogi which was very yummy and fried ramen.. the sides were good too.. it was my first time eating sticky rice. When. You are done they serve you with cinnamon tea and cut fruits.. cinnamon tea was very refreshing.. it's a must try place .overall different experience
One of my favorite places in this part of Bangalore. Especially love the hot pots here. Pair it with a little sake and it's awesome. Love the complimentary plate they serve while you wait for your order. When the food is this good, nothing else matters 5/5.

Wanted to visit Thran after it was rennovated recently and was finally able to do it. They decor has improved. They have added a bell to the corner of each table to call for the waiter, a nice touch.

Recently renovated. Warm color lighting enhances the taste of food. When I first went there was a bad old smell, but no more. The price of Korean food here is very reasonable. The taste is more than the price. Anything is above average. If you are looking for Korean restaurants, be sure to find this place.
Kalyannagar and adjacent areas have quite a few korean restaurants. Seeing Thran's good reviews we decided to pay it a visit and I was not disappointed. Tried the beef bulgogi and tuna kimbab. The Bulgogi tasted awesome and so was the kimbab (although the kimbab was too big to my liking). The place is located on the ground floor of a house. Service was quite prompt. Thran is definitely worth a visit.
Note:They also have a very nice bakery adjacent to the restaurant.
One of our fav restaurants, we love the fried momos, bulgogi, kimchi, kimbab and so on. This place never disappoints. It might look like lot of food but it's really light on your stomach. Yes it's healthy as it's low carb and tons of Fibre with protein. More reasons to enjoy this cuisine. It's bit more pricey than the restaurants in the vicinity but it's worth every rupee spent. The service is quality and these guys are the sweetest. Waiting for our next visit to this wonderful restaurant.
Thran is a Korean restaurant. I saw Koreans in the restaurant next to my table. The dishes I ordered tasted very different and very tasty. Especially, the sides they served before the main course are awesome. Worth trying. Prices are bit high compared to Indian cuisine but you are eating Korean in India. 🙂
